The Captain finds out

"It's going to be hard to use the bathroom when I have to throw up in the morning or whenever" Vicki says as her and Gopher help passengers board that day

"Just run to the nearest bathroom that is close to your cabin, so your father doesn't find out" he says as he was still helping her with the passengers

"I hope I make it in time" she says as she felt it come right up on her and she makes a run for the nearest bathroom

"Vicki where are you going?" The Captain asks her as he saw her running to the bathroom

Vicki couldn't speak as she was running as soon as she found a bathroom she headed in and started throwing up

"I better follow her" he says as he was going to see if she was okay and if she needed help

The Captain stood outside as he waited for her to stop getting sick cause he knew it wasn't food poisoning cause if it were food poisoning the whole crew would have gotten sick from the food, and he was going to have Doc check her out as soon as they got underway cause he wanted to see if it was the flu, appendicitis or if she was pregnant

"Oh, hi dad" she says as she comes out of the bathroom after she had wiped her mouth off after she had gotten sick

"Vicki are you feeling okay?" He asks as he feels her forehead

"Yeah, just fine" she says as she heads back in for round two

Soon Gopher appears

"Is Vicki in there?" Gopher asks the Captain

"Yes, she is" The Captain says as he slides down the wall

Gopher heads in to be with Vicki

"I'll hold your hair Vicki" Gopher says as she continues to get sick

"Thanks Gopher I'm trying not to ruin my uniform" she says as she sits down

Gopher holds her up cause she was really weak from throwing up already

"I'll carry you out and I'll get you some water" he says as he picks her up

"Thanks Gopher" she says as she goes back dry heaving for now

"No sweat" he says as he stood close to her

(Later)

"Gopher can you carry Vicki down to see Doc I'll be there as soon as we leave port" Merrill says to him

"Yes sir" Gopher says as he carries Vicki down to see Doc cause he knew what was coming

"Gopher I'm dead" she says as they head there to see Doc

"Vicki you are going have to tell him who the father is" Gopher tells her

"Yeah, and probably, we will have to bring Curtis on board and I'm going have to tell him that he is going to be a dad" she says as they talked the whole way to Doc's office

"You can lay on me Vicki I don't mind a bit" Gopher says as he carries her

(Doc's office)

"Here we go Vicki" Gopher says as he puts her on the couch for the time being

"Thanks Gopher" she says as she got comfy as she waited for Doc to come and she was going to have an exam to see how far along she was and everything

"Welcome I'll be by your side no matter what I'll even be in the delivery room if you want me too" he says as he looks at her

"I want you to be in the room for sure as well as my dad I know I'm having this baby on the boat" she says as she saw a small bump start to form

Gopher cleaned her up a bit cause she was weak a bit

"There all we have to do is wait for Doc to come" Gopher says to her cause he could see that she was really scared right now

(Later)

"Adam can you see what's going on with Vicki?" The captain asks him

"Sure Merrill" Adam says as he takes Vicki back with him to see what's going on

"Captain she is really scared out of her mind right now" Gopher says as they were waiting cause Doc was going to do a full work up on Vicki to see what was going on with her

"How do you know?" Merrill asks Gopher

"I told Vicki I wouldn't tell you until she told you herself, but since the first half is starting, I'm going to tell you now" Gopher says as he was trying to say it before Doc comes out with the test results of what was wrong with Vicki came back and knowing Doc, he will have the test results before Gopher could even tell him

"What first half?" Merrill asks him

Just then Adam appears from the exam room where Vicki was laying on the exam table

"Merrill what Gopher was going to tell you it's true Vicki is in fact pregnant, so when we get to the first port of call, I'm going to have her go for an ultrasound to see about the baby, and I'm going to have her come back, so I can confirm her due date" Doc says to him

Merrill didn't know what to say

"Vicki told me who the father is and it's Curtis, and if he doesn't want anything to do with her or the baby, I promised her I'll be there for her" Gopher says cause he was willing to step in and help when needed

"Gopher I need a drink" he says to him

"Merrill goes I have to see how big the baby is, and I'll talk to Vicki and let her know how this pregnancy will be handled" Doc tells him

Merrill and Gopher head to the bar where Issac was

(Lounge)

"Issac I need a strong drink" The Captain says as he enters the bar after the news

"Why Captain?" Issac asks him

"He just found out Vicki is pregnant and with child" Gopher says as he was going to have something as well

"My word" Issac says as he pours the Captain a drink

"Yeah, I'm going to be a grandfather" Merrill says as he gulps his drink cause he needed it
