Babymoon part 4
Merrill pushes Vicki back on board and he radioed for Gunner to get underway once again since Trig was back on board
"Dad can you bathe me tonight please?" She asks him
"Sure, I can baby no problem and while I am having dinner Trig and you can have your dinner too, I'll be up with your snack" Merrill says as he kisses her
Vicki loved being spoiled and treated like royalty for a while until she delivers, and besides, she hated to bend down and go into labor
(Vicki's hospital room)
"Hey Vicki come let's check on those babies" Doc says as he was going to check the heartbeats and check the babies on screen
"I'll help you up sweetheart" Merrill says as he was going to help his daughter onto the bed
Vicki pulls up her sundress to expose her bump where the twins were
"Okay let's check Baby A" Doc says as he was going to check on the twins one by one
The captain and Vicki were in aww when they saw the first baby on the screen looking at them
"Look at that little hand" Merrill says as he was able to see the first baby waving at the screen
"Looks like baby A is sucking it's thumb" Vicki says as she saw the other hand in the baby's mouth
"Baby A looks good and healthy right now" Doc says as he was examining the rest of baby A
"Looks like baby a is a little girl" Merrill says as he was getting a quick look cause baby had its legs crossed
Doc tried to get closer to see if Merrill was right about the first baby, and he was able to see a little bit
"Baby A looks like a girl" Doc tells Vicki
"Georgina will be her name then" Vicki says as she looked at the baby A
"Okay now for baby B" Doc says as he switched over to the second baby
Doc found that one's heartbeat after a while cause that one was moving around a lot
"Sure, is active today" Merrill says as he was looking at his other grandchild on the screen
Soon Gopher comes in
"Did I miss anything?" Gopher asks
"The first baby is a girl" Merrill says with excitement in his voice cause he was excited for a granddaughter
"It looks like I'm just in time to see the other one" Gopher says as he took a seat by Vicki "It looks like I'm just in time to see the other one" Gopher says as he was going to sit down close by Vicki
"Baby B looks good Vicki, and very active as well" Doc says as he looks at the baby on the screen
Doc sees something in the spine and that worries him at the moment
"Doc is everything okay?" Merrill asks him cause he was worried as well
"I want to have a test done on Baby B to see if Baby B has Spina bifida" Doc says cause he wasn't too happy right now
Vicki was truly scared for one of the babies
"Vicki it's going to be okay I am going to be right here Vicki" Merrill says as he was going to hug Vicki close, he could see she was really scared of what could happen once the second baby is born
"I'll be right here Vicki" Gopher says as he hugs her as well
"Well, this one look just like it's sister" Doc says as he was able to get a glimpse of what the other baby is as well
"Wait I am going to have two granddaughters?" Merrill asks Doc
"By the look of it yes you will" Doc tells him
Vicki was happy she was having two daughters
"Looks like Georgina & Merritt Stubbing are the names I am set on" Vicki says as she was looking at the screen of her girls
Merrill cries cause the other girl was going to have part of his first name as her first name
"Don't worry Gopher I am going to use your name as their middle name" Vicki tells him
Gopher cries cause he was going to be a part of this no matter what
"I'll tell your uncles the news be right back" Merrill says as he was going to find his brothers and tell them that they were going to have two great nieces coming into the world
Merrill was on cloud nine the entire time he headed out to the waiting room cause almost everyone was out there
"Well, the first baby is on track and it's a girl, but the second baby who is also a girl is not so good" Merrill tells the people who were in the waiting room
'What's wrong with the second baby?" Judy asks Merrill
"She has Spina Bifida, so I am hoping she will be okay once it repaired" Merrill says to everyone
"Us too sir we will do all we can to help you and we can even help with baby-sitting if need be" Judy says to him
"No need Marshall & Milo are staying on the cruise permanently to help out with that chore cause with this it will be a lot" Merrill says cause he had to do some fixing to the bridge so it can accommodate the girls comfortably
'We can't wait to meet the girls" Marshall says to him
"I know I can't wait to meet little Georgina and little Merritt Stubbing in a few weeks" Merrill says as he told the crew the babies names
Merrill knew he was going to phone Vicki's aunt and tell her the news that Vicki was naming one of the girls after Georgina
(Later)
"Vicki, I got us a romantic dinner for two" Trig says as he came in with the tray that had the food on it
"Trig that is so romantic" Vicki says as she looked up from her magazine she was reading
Trig got her favorite and he had dessert coming up as well for her that night
"I also got us music for the evening" Trig says as one of the ship's musicians came in to play music for the couple
"Trig you thought of everything" she says as she started to dig into dinner that night
