Baby moon part 6

The next morning the group woke up to breakfast in the cabin

"That was some night last night" Gopher says as he stretches

"Yeah, it was an I can't believe how active those girls are" Merrill says cause him and Vicki had to go for a bit of a walk to calm Merritt back down and walking was the only cure for the little one, and that caused some contractions once again so Vicki was not even allowed to walk until she hit full term, so reading and singing were the only ways the twins would settle down for Vicki and Merrill

"Where is today's stop dad?" she asks as Gunner helped her out of bed and into her chair

"It's a surprise Vicki you have to wait and see" Merrill says as Trig came in cause he had to use the restroom that morning and Gopher was the only one in bed cause he was up with Merrill when Vicki was in the exam room

Vicki knew she had to be patient this trip

"Don't worry we will be there in due time" Gunner tells her cause he was up as well off and on to see if they were staying on course to their next stop and they were ahead of schedule and that was a good thing right now

Gunner and Merrill were talking that morning and Gopher woke up after a while and he was going to see about Vicki's appointment in the salon for her after breakfast

(Later)

"Vicki darling I have arranged for you to have your day of pampering before we get into our next port which we will be docked there for the night before leaving the next day for our last stop which we will be going through the Panama canal to get to" Merrill says as he was taking her to the salon cause he had some work to do himself like pack the bags, see if the nursery was fully ready and he knew the quickest route to Doc's office from his office or bedroom or any part of the ship

Vicki was happy that she was going to have her day of pampering as well, and she hopes to get pampered one last time before the girls come. Merrill dropped her off and he headed to see what activities he could do, and he was going to play bingo that day before going to see where they were, and where she could shop and what sights she could see

"Okay the reservations are made for tonight" Merrill says cause he wanted to spend some one-on-one time with Vicki before the girls come and he hoped Merritt is the only one who is going to be different if Georgina is different, he will love the girls even more then before

"I take it Vicki and you are staying in port?" Gunner asks him

"Yeah, we are, and we will be back on board before the ship leaves tomorrow afternoon" Merrill says as he was able to arrange a surprise for Vicki

(Later that afternoon)

"Vicki are you ready to go into Acapulco?" Merrill asks her

"Ready dad" she says as Trig wheels her cause Trig and Gunner and Gopher were joining Merrill and Vicki

"You will be surprised who will greet us when we get off" Merrill says as he pushes her

Vicki was wondering what the surprise is and her smile grew when she saw someone she knew when she was younger come into view

"Vick" Dolores says when she saw Vicki for the first time in years

"Hello Dolores" Merrill says as he hugs her after he has not seen her in years

"Hi Merrill" Dolores says as she hugs back

"Hi Vicki" Delores says when she saw her

"Hi aunt Dolores" Vicki says as they head to Dolores old house cause they were staying at the old house cause Dolores turned it into a vacation home, and Merrill was able to get it reserved for the night

Dolores saw Vicki, and she wondered what happened

"I am keeping the babies and I have one named after mom" Vicki says as she shows her aunt where Georgina was in the womb right now

Dolores felt Georgina kicked and it felt like her sister was back and she could not wait to hold little Georgina

"The second one will be named after dad, but her name is Merritt, but she is going to be special" Vicki says as they headed for the house to settle in before seeing the town, and shopping

"Why?" Dolores asks her

"Merritt has Spina Bifida, and she will have to have an operation as soon as she is born to close the hole in her back" Merrill says cause he had to make the decision for her cause Vicki was too much of a basket case when she heard about Merritt and Merrill knew he wanted to keep the girls together, so he made the decision for Merritt to have the surgery

Dolores did not say a thing about Merritt she was happy about Georgina is all and Merritt was going to be the rut of the two

"I'm glad Marshall and Milo are happy about Merritt" Vicki tells her dad

"Me too Marshall is going to pick up his bride and bring her on board for the last stop of the baby moon and then they are staying on until you deliver" Merrill says cause Milo stayed behind to fix Vicki's room up, so it felt like home cause Doc was going to keep her in there for a while longer until he felt it was safe for her to go back to her normal cabin

(House)

Vicki could not believe they were staying in her childhood home while they were in port, and she could not wait to unpack a little bit and then go out to see the sights and sounds of the city

"Merrill, I gave you the master bedroom and the others can stay in the other rooms or the couch" Dolores says to him

"Thanks Dolores you are more then welcome to join us" he says as he was going to unpack

"No, it's best if I go, I'll come back and lock the house up once you guys leave in the morning" she says to him

Merrill knew not to fight with her, so he was going to enjoy this time with Vicki before the twins are born, and those, girl will have his heart and probably Gopher's as well, and Trig's too

(Later)

The group was ready to go into Acapulco, and enjoy themselves while they could cause they were going to be going through the Panama Canal to get to their last two ports before going back through to go home

"I know Vicki is going to enjoy the last two ports I just know it" Merrill says to Gunner as the group came back cause it started to rain, so they were going to ride it out at the house until the rain stopped

"Merrill, I will figure out a cheaper way to get us back to port cause going through the canal twice is a lot of money" Gunner tells him

"Maybe you're right going through the canal twice is a lot of money" Merrill says as he thought about it now

"Merrill you have a good heart and you want Vicki to have a great baby moon before those girls come, and once those girls come they will see the canal a lot more when they get older and every time the ship passes you can explain how each lock came to be" Gunner says to him

Merrill loved he was going to have history lessons with the girls and he was going to do all those fun things with them as they get older
