Baby moon part 8
Trig was incredibly happy that he was dating Vicki and since she was on bedrest Merrill decided it was best, they ate in that night, and explore the town's nightlife later cause he wanted to see it come alive as well and have fun and let loose cause it was long overdue for everyone
"Dad does it mean I can't go out tonight?" she asks him as everyone else was getting ready
"Sorry Vicki, I can't risk you or the twins right now especially with the twins being little undeveloped as well and not being able to survive without help from machine, so maybe once they are born and you have recovered from the birth, I'll let you go to the club and live it up" Merrill tells her
"Maybe your right dad I hate to overdo it and go into real labor" she tells him
"Besides, I want to practice the drill a few times, so when the times comes, I am not too freaked out I am calm as a cucumber" he tells her
Vicki and Trig were staying in and going to watch a movie and relax and go to bed early of they were too tired, and they were going to go to bed early anyways cause they had to be up cause they were going back to the ship in the morning
(Later)
Merrill and Gunner came home to a sight that made Merrill heart strings pull
"Merrill let's leave them be" Gunner tells him
Merrill was going to leave his daughter be, and he was going to cover his three girls up before he went to bed that night as well
"Night Vicki Georgina, and little Merritt" he says as he kisses Vicki and her baby bump
The girls loved having grandpa kiss them good night
Merrill went to bed, and he had to have his sleep cause the last port was waiting
(Morning)
Merrill was up and loading everything up cause after breakfast they had to head back to the ship and head to their last port which Merrill changed last minute to Venice cause Vicki fell in love the first time, they went there so it was only fitting that they go back on the baby moon cruise
"Vicki, I brought you breakfast in bed" Trig says as he brought the tray in for her
"Thanks Trig I am starved" she says as she sat up to eat breakfast that morning
"Eat slowly okay Vicki" he says to her
Vicki knew she had to eat slowly now cause she could choke if she wasn't careful and that could be bad for her
"Trig did you make this?" she asks him
"Yes and I had some help from my dad cause I wanted to make it special for you" he tells her
"Can I have more please the girls are loving this breakfast?" she asks him
"Yes Vicki you may" Trig says as he was going to see if there was time for Vicki to have another breakfast
Merrill made her the Stubbing breakfast since Gunner left so Trig told Vicki she was getting her dad's breakfast and Gopher was going to make the Smith's snack for the road
"Vicki your dad made this one since Gunner and Trig had to head back to the ship" Merrill says as he came in cause he told Gunner to wait for them
Vicki dug into the other breakfast and she loved it
"Gunner and me have no problem cooking for you" Merrill tells her as she ate
Vicki was glad she could get some home cooked or ship cooked meals while she was pregnant, and after breakfast she showered and got dressed and once she was dressed Merrill, Gopher and her headed back to the princess
(Ship)
"Dad I have to change I got a stain on my shirt" she says when she saw something on her shirt
Merrill was worried about her so he had Doc met her at the infirmary to check her out
(Later)
"Vicki your source of food for the girls started to come in, so I want you to start pumping and I am going to get an extra fridge, so you can start storing the milk for the girls just in case they come early" Doc tells her
"Plus, it will help if I need to feed one of them and you aren't around" Merrill says cause he was thinking ahead a little bit
"I want you to dump it if it's very little, but if there is a lot I want you to save it if you can" Doc tells her
Vicki understood and she was happy she could bond with her girls in a special way once they arrive
"While you're here we might as well see how big those girls are" Doc tells her
The twins were right on track at 32 weeks, so they were getting closer to being born, and their weights were in good shape as well
"I guess I might as well get everything ready for when the twins come" Merrill says cause he wanted a mattress or something in every elevator in case the power goes out when Vicki is in labor cause he wanted to have a kit ready in case and his office was going to be prepped as well for birth if Vicki can't make it
"In six weeks the girls are full term and can come at any time" Doc tells her
"I am ready to meet them after this cruise is over" Vicki says as she cleans off her stomach
"Me too I can't wait to get in all those cuddles" Merrill says as his office and his room was ready for the twins cause he was going to alternate between the girls
Gopher's room was ready as well, so when Vicki wanted to go to the club he could watch the other twin
"I can't wait to see where we are going next dad" she tells him
"You will see soon" he tells her
