Baby moon part 9
Vicki loved feeling the girls move and kick and she could not wait to hold them in her arms
"Vicki, you wanted to see me?" Gopher asks once he knocked on the door to the infirmary where she was staying right now
"Yes, what is your full name cause I am thinking of middle names for the girls, and I want them to be perfect and go with Georgina and Merritt" she tells him
"My first name is Burl so you can use any of those letters for the girls middle name will work" he tells her
"You want to help me?" she asks him
"Sure, for the letter B you can do Briana" he tells her
"I am going to do it for Georgina's middle name" Vicki says as she was thinking whose name it sounded better with and it sounded great with Georgina
"Georgina Briana Stubbing, I like it" he says as he thought of girl names that started with the letter r and l for Merritt cause she still a middle name
"Me too with Stubbing as their last name" she says cause the girls were going to have her last name and not Curtis last name cause he was in fact out of the picture in her eyes
Soon the Captain comes in
"What are you doing sweetheart?" He asks her
"Gopher is helping me come up with middle names for the girls and we have one done and that is Georgina, and her name is Georgina Briana Stubbing" Vicki says as she figures out where Georgina was cause the girls were moving around a lot and it was hard to tell who was where that day and Vicki knew the girls were where they were going to be when they come into the world
"That seems like a fitting name for Georgina" Merrill says as he cries a little bit
"Now we have to do Merritt and both girls will be done, and their names are set in stone
"How about Merrill Rose Stubbing" Merrill suggested to Vicki
Vicki felt Merritt touch her belly when Merrill said that name
"Well, I guess she wants Rose as her middle name" Vicki says cause she couldn't believe how fast she was able to get the names together for the girls and how well they go together as well
"She will be the rose in our life for sure and when we go to Venice, I plan on having blankets made with the girls full name something personal" Merrill says to Vicki
"Dad are you sure?" Vicki asks him
"Of course, I am sure" Merrill says to her
Vicki was really excited for Venice now and seeing the sights and spending the last bit of this babymoon before the babies are born and she could not wait to show the girls the world. Merrill was really excited to show the girls the night sky and show the girls where their grandmother is in heaven and give each of the girls something to remember their grandma by even though they have never met her. Gopher was getting excited cause he was going to be seeing the girls be born and helping the Captain, in the delivery room when the big day comes cause he knows he is going to need someone to help him stay strong for Vicki as she has the twins, and if they hit a typhoon and they couldn't make it to Doc's office Vicki was going to deliver in the office
(Days later)
"Dad it's just like I remember" Vicki says as her and Trig leave with her dad cause Gunner wanted to stay on board and plan one last surprise and that was to Australia cause that was where Trig wanted to get the ring for Vicki cause he wanted to propose as soon as he could once they got back on board after the babies were born
"I know it is let's hit the town and go shopping for the babies" Merrill says as they were going to go shopping for dresses and blankets for the girls
Vicki was excited to go shopping with her dad, Gopher and Trig
"Dad can we get a snack?" she asks him
Merrill knew Vicki had to eat to have the girls grow so they got gelato and Vicki was a happy camper as they shopped and saw the town and they went to the baby shops where they got more burp cloths and toys for the girls as well as outfits they could wear
"I think the shop I want to get the blankets made are up here" he says as they got to that shop to get the blankets made for the twins cause each of the girls were going to have two one for when they are born and one for when the air on deck is chilly and the stroller doesn't want to be used
Merrill told the names he wanted on the blanket's and he picked out the blankets for the girls and the group was going to swing by before the ship left to pick them up
"I can't wait to see them" she says as they headed to the beach to relax a bit cause it was a gorgeous day out
Gopher bought lunch for everyone that day as they enjoyed the beach and the weather
"Too bad I don't have a bathing suit I would love to go in the water for a bit" she says
"Maybe you can get your feet wet come on" Merrill says as he was going to take her into the water
Vicki was having a fun time and enjoying herself
"Vicki there is one last stop after this and that is Australia" Trig tells her cause he wants it to be romantic
Vicki was over the moon to go to Australia before going home to LA where her and her dad were going to be until the next cruise
