Empathy bellies part 2
"Okay I think everyone is on board come on we will head up to the bridge to throw the confetti and wave bye to everyone including my dad cause he came to see us back off cause the next voyage he is coming on to be acting Captain cause once you have the babies I will be taking care of you and the babies and getting into a routine on the next cruise cause Gunner can't switched for a while, so I had to call your grandfather to come and be acting Captain which he is happy with" Merrill says as he helped Vicki up to the bridge
"I am never going to get tired of this view" Vicki says as she starts throwing the confetti
"I never tire of it either" Merrill says as he was going to start backing the ship out
Marshall and Milo came up as well cause Milo was going to give Vicki something for her water retention she had, and she needed relief
"Thank Uncle Milo" she says as she puts some slippers on cause she hated wearing her heels during this part of the pregnancy
"Welcome and how about a family dip in the pool after this?" Marshall suggests
"I'm game" she says as the ship headed out to sea
"I'll be around to check on you later" Merrill says as he kisses her goodbye before she left to put on her swimsuit
(Later)
"My back is killing me" Gopher says as he was sitting down on deck as Isaac brought out drinks
"Gopher if you cave now you lose right away" Julie says as she was chilling with everyone
"I know I will cave I will give it a go still" Gopher says as he was still resting right now cause his back was killing him from the weight of the empathy belly
Gopher had to go to the restroom again, so he got up and waddle to the restroom that was by the pool
"Here comes Vicki and her dad and it looks likes he is still going strong" Isaac says to Doc, Julie and Judy
"I am surprised he is not going to cave first" Doc says as Merrill was going to sit down and take a load off as well cause he could see that Merrill's back was killing him as well from the weight of the empathy belly
"I'll go get the drinks" Isaac says cause he was serving the drinks this cruise
Vicki was enjoying the water and Marshall and Milo joined her
"I'm glad we didn't get sympathy pains from this" Gopher says as he was resting
"Me too and I'm glad this is almost over and we can go back to normal somewhat" Merrill says as he was watching Vicki in case she goes into labor already
"I know what you mean" Gopher says as Merrill was paged to the bridge
(Later)
"Okay all I have left is put on the coat and head to dinner" Merrill says cause he was taking longer then Gopher getting ready for dinner
Once he was ready he went to get Vicki for dinner
"Vicki are you okay?" He asks her
"No dad I don't know if this is it or Braxton Hicks" she says as she was breathing with the pains right now
Merrill time the contractions and paged for Adam and Gopher to the office
"Vicki I'll take you to the office to see if this is it" Merrill says as he was going to help her to the office
(Later)
"Vicki you got a case of indigestion with some Braxton Hicks contractions" Adam says as he checked her out
"Thank goodness it's just that" Merrill says cause he wanted the belly off when the girls come
"Yeah let's go to dinner" Gopher says as he helped Vicki up
"I'm going to have dinner brought up here and Marshall and Milo are joining us" Merrill says as Isaac brings the beverage of the night to the cabin
"Good call until we cave it's best we eat here" Gopher says as he was going to help set the table for dinner that night
"That what I was thinking" Merrill says as the food was brought to the cabin and Marshall and Milo show up
(Two days later)
"That's it I'm taking it off" Gopher says as he takes the belly off
"Gopher we are so close" Merrill says to him cause they were in the office going over every birth plan they could cause Merrill wanted to be ready when the time came
"I know I'm surrendering to this" Gopher says as his belly came off
Gopher felt better once the belly was off and his back didn't hurt anymore
"I'm taking mine off tonight cause I want to eat in the dining room for dinner" Merrill says cause he like the experience of feeling what Vicki was going through with the twins, and he had his fill already
(Dinner)
"Vicki you win the bet we can't do what you are doing carrying those amazing girls day in and day out" Merrill tells her as they walked into the dining room that night for dinner cause it felt good to be back in their old uniforms
"I know I'm glad you guys made it as far as you did" she says as they sat down to dinner
"How are the girls tonight?" Gopher asks her
"Good they have been moving a lot today and kicking too" Vicki says as she felt one of the twins kick her
(End of cruise)
"We decided to put these back on to show how good sports we are even though you won the bet" Gopher tells her
"Thanks you two it means a lot" Vicki says as she was getting emotional right now
"Oh you are welcome sweetheart now we will be there for you when these babies come" Merrill says as he felt the girls kick cause they were super happy that night
The birth is next and it will be like marooned
