Vicki has the twin's part 3
"How far apart are the contractions Gopher?" Merrill asks cause he had to go to the bridge and tell them where he was in case, they needed him, and he told them to plan a different course for home
"They are three minutes apart and they last for a minute" Gopher says as he went to check the piece of paper, he had wrote down how close the contractions were
"It won't be much longer" Merrill says as they felt the boat rock more
"No, it won't Gopher says as Vicki squeezes his hand again and Gopher wrote down how close that one was
The contractions started to be two minutes apart and Vicki was going to be delivering soon and Gopher was going to help her walk it out so she could deliver
(One hour later)
"Dad I have to push" Vicki says out of breath
"Okay Vicki when you feel that need start to push with all of your might" Merrill says as he got ready to deliver the twins
Vicki pushed and Gopher counted for her and between pushes he wiped her forehead and gave her some ice chips that Isaac brought up for Vicki
"Good Vicki I can see the head" Merrill says with excitement in his voice cause this was a big deal for him cause he was helping to deliver his own granddaughter
Vicki kept going until the head was out
"Okay Vicki rest for a bit" Merrill says as he was going to suction out the mouth and the nose of the first baby that was being born
Vicki lays back on Gopher and breathes heavily
"Vicki let the contractions do some of the work now, and do tiny pushes cause you have one more to bring into the world" Merrill says as he heard his name being called to the bridge
Vicki nods as she lays on Gopher a little bit
"Vicki you are doing so good and soon you are going to be holding the first of those beautiful angels in your arms" Gopher says as he wets Vicki's lips right now
Vicki was doing tiny pushes to bring the first one into the world
"That's good Vicki tiny pushes here and there" Gopher says cause if he looks, he might pass out
"Okay ready to go again Vicki?' Merrill ask her cause the first baby was almost out
Vicki nods cause she was fully ready to have the first baby and she hopes there was a break between the girls so her dad could deliver one and Doc could deliver the other one
(Ten minutes later)
"Okay Vicki one last push and the first one will be here" Merrill says to her
Vicki pushes one last time before a cry could be heard from inside the captain's office
"Hello little Georgina Stubbing" Merrill says cause Georgina came out first and Merritt was going to be following
Georgina was crying up a storm cause she did not like being taken from her warm home
"It's okay Georgina your grandpappy has you Gopher would you like to cut the cord?" Merrill ask him
Gopher cried when he was able to cut the first cord
"Cut right there" Merrill says as he was crying a little bit as well
Gopher hands were shaky, but he cut the cord
"Okay Vicki you ready to meet little Georgina?" Merrill asks her cause he was wrapping her up so she could meet mommy
"Of course, I am" Vicki says as she sits up ready to accept Georgina from her father
"Here we go Georgina meet your mommy" Merrill says as he hands Georgina off to Vicki
Vicki cries when she sees Georgina for the first time
"Dad she is beautiful, and I don't think I could ever done this without you or Gopher" Vicki says as she was rocking Georgina hoping she would calm down after a while
"I wouldn't miss it for the world and Georgina has some people that would like to meet her" Merrill says cause Doc came up to take Vicki down to examine her and see when Merritt was going to be born
Gopher was going to carry Georgina down to the office while Vicki was in the wheelchair
"I'll give Georgina my jacket, so she is warm" Gopher says as he takes off his coat for the tiny child
"Thanks Gopher" Vicki says as she wipes the tears away from her face
"Merritt is going to be coming soon, so Vicki it's best you deliver here in your dad's office" Doc says s he checked her and he saw that Merritt was going to be coming soon
"It's so weird I don't even feel the contractions with this one so maybe she might be better then her sister" Vicki says as she got ready to deliver the other baby
Gopher was going to hold Georgina while Merrill was going to be the coach this time around
"Okay Vicki good pushes and Merritt will be here in no time" Doc says as he was going to deliver the other twin
Vicki pushed four times and little Merritt Stubbing had arrived
"Merrill, would you like to do the cord?" Doc asks him
Merritt cried cause she was not happy she was taken from her home
"Vicki I am so proud of you" Merrill says as he kisses her once the twins were delivered
"Vicki I am going to take Merritt down to my office, so I can close up the hole in her back" Doc tells her cause she had to get examined after the operation and once the waters have calmed down
"Okay bye sweetheart" Vicki says as she kisses her daughter goodbye
Merrill went down to be with Merritt during the operation he was going to hold her as Doc operated on her cause she was not happy that she was taken from mommy already
"Come Vicki, I'll help you to the couch and you can sleep" Gopher says cause he was staying in the office with Vicki and Georgina
"First I would like to feed Georgina" Vicki says cause Georgina might be getting hungry for her first meal
Georgina was in fact hungry, and Gopher was going to burp her and take care of her while Vicki slept from the births
