The twins first night part 2

"I am going to have Merritt with me since she is attached to me for some reason, and I am glad the girls are oh so different" Merrill says as he enters his office with Gunnar who had Georgina and he had little Merritt

"That's fine I can use the practice a little more with at least one before I end up juggling two babies which will not be easy" Gunnar says as he was going to sit with Georgina who was fast asleep right now

"Merritt is going to be my special girl I know that for a fact" Merrill says as he laid Merritt in one of his drawers he cleared out for her to lay on cause she liked to see grandpappy Stubbing out of the corner of her eye when he wasn't holding her

"I guess she is the cuddle bug of the two girls?" Gunnar asks him

"Yeah she is and I love her to pieces and I love Georgina too" Merrill says as he was going to start on the paperwork that needed done

Gunnar was going to see about Trig and Vicki in case Vicki had to leave cause she didn't pump

"Well Georgina it's just you, me and your sister" Merrill says as he was going to put her in her bassinet cause she started to stir

Merrill hummed to her and she was back asleep in minutes as well and he covered her up

"Night little Georgina" he says as he tucks her in

Soon Gopher comes into he office to help out with he baby sitting duties in case both twins were fussy and he walked in on the perfect time

"Gopher I am going to take Georgina out on deck and see if she calms down Merritt in in my desk right now try moving her to her bassinet where she would be more comfortable right now" Merrill says as he was going to put his coat on and he was going to walk the deck with Georgina to see if that calms her down

"Okay I am sure little Merritt will be an angel since she is sleeping and she probably has her small captain's hat so she would sleep better cause she is really attached to you sir" Gopher tells him

"I am thinking both girls are going to be attached to be for a while at least" Merrill says as he was going to get Georgina warm so she was not going to be cold as they walked the deck

Gopher talks to Merritt as he moves her and she barely made a peep or moved as she was being moved to her bassinet that rocks cause hers was more of a cradle the a bassinet

"There we go Gopher is going to rock you to sleep" he says as he was going to rock her as she was in her cradle

Merritt held onto his finger as she was sleeping

(Later)

"Hey, Vicki how was your first night out since having the twins?" Gopher asks her since Merrill decided to just stay on the ship that night cause it was easier on them and no one would be around to yell at them, and they had more room to calm the girls down

"Not too bad I am glad to be back with my little ones" Vicki says as she was going to get ready to nurse the girls since it was time for their next feeding

Vicki covered herself and she was going to nurse Merritt first since she was in the room right now since Georgina was out with grandpa Stubbing

"Eat up my little warrior" Vicki says as she was watching Merritt nurse cause Merritt had to gain weight since she was under right now

Vicki let her nurse for as long as she wanted to and she made sure to switch her halfway

(Later)

"I'll change her" Gopher says as he was going to change Merritt

Vicki was going to go in search of her dad and little Georgina and she cried at the scene that she saw before her

"Night dad Georgina it's time for your feeding so I am going to nurse you and tuck you in" Vicki says as she took Georgina out of her dad's arms

The captain slept through everything and he didn't realize that Vicki took Georgina to be fed and tucked in for the night as well

"I think once I feed you and Gopher changes you I think I should put you back with grandpop and you two can nap together how does that sound? Vicki asks Georgina as she headed for the office to nurse Georgina since she was going to be sleeping on the ship that night and it looked like Gopher was going to be joining them

Georgina had her belly full and Vicki had Gopher take Merritt out in her cradle and take out the other bassinet so she could sleep outside too with her sister and her grandpop and her mom and daddy Gopher

"I'll let grandpop tell you two about your grandmama who is up there watching us" Vicki says as she was tucking the girls in for the night

Gopher was going to cover Vicki up once she made sure the girls were tucked in and her dad was nice and warm as well

(Later)

Vicki, Gopher and Merrill were woken up by the twins cries

"I'll nurse them" Vicki says as she was going to make herself comfortable as Gopher and Merrill was changing the twins

Merrill and Gopher talked as Vicki was nursing the twins and once they were fed both girls were still cranky so Gopher and Merrill were going to walk with them as Vicki was going to go back to sleep

"Girls up there is your grandma and if she was down here with us she would spoil you girls rotten, and constantly love on you girls, and take you two to the best spots in the world. Your grandma was a great women who was so full of life" Merrill says as he was talking about the women Georgina was named after

Merrill started to get teary eyed a little bit as he was talking about the girls grandmother cause the hurt was starting to come back slowly

"Girls you will have another grandma and that's my mom and she is a great women too and sometime I will have to introduce you two to her" Gopher says as he was talking about his mom to help Merrill out cause he was not seeing anyone right now and that hurt was still hurting as well

Georgina and Merritt were asleep within an hour and Merrill and Gopher were going to tuck them back in for the night

"Thanks Gopher the hurt started to come back I never thought I would be talking about the girls grandmother" Merrill says as he was tucking in Merritt

"Welcome sir I am going to be there for you, Vicki and the twins" Gopher says as he was comforting the captain right now
