Twin's first night part 2

Once Merrill had Merritt changed and dressed again he took her to the lounge to see if some dancing might help before he goes back to the water method cause she was calm as could be right now

"What happened dad?" Vicki asks as she held Georgina right now

"Merritt was fussy I think she has some colic with this formula she is on and the only thing so far that has helped her is the water, so I am going to try dancing with her to see if that helps and if Georgina has colic I am going to try the opposite for her and see if that helps her cause I think that is Merritt's problem her digestive system is too sensitive right now, and can't handle all of this formula to see which one works best for her" Merrill tells her

"I think you are right and she is still breast feeding as well I might nurse her longer then her sister and then go from there and maybe try a different method later on with her to have her gain weight and see if that helps her cause the formula is making her gassy to a point she is that upset" Vicki says as she took Merritt cause Trig was going to let Merrill have a bit of time alone cause he was handling Merritt most of the night and Gopher had Georgina right now on the dance floor trying to get her to have a bit of fun and introduce her to some tunes other then what Vicki plays for her and she was loving it

"Go with your gut Vicki for those girls cause I did with you I had to go with my gut a lot once you came on board and once you were settled you were fine and no problems at all which was okay by me" Merrill says as he was going to have a drink right now cause he needed it really bad

(That night)

"Okay Merritt I'm coming" Vicki says as she was going to tend to her daughter who was not happy

Vicki started to nurse her and she rocked her and she slept as she nursed her cause Merritt was eating like a champ right now since her feeds were longer then normal cause of her sensitive tummy to formula, and she nursed for a full thirty minutes before she was full and Vicki burped and changed her

"Night Merritt I am right here angel" Vicki says as she looks as she sleeps

Vicki checks on Georgina and she was squirming in her crib and that worried Vicki that something was wrong with Georgina as well

"Oh sweetie come here let's go for a walk" Vicki says as she was going to walk with her since Merritt was sleeping

Georgina calmed down once the sea air hit her

"We are still at sea yet for a little bit we won't be at our second port till tomorrow then we will go in together and I think you will meet your great aunt Delores if she will let me show you off of course then our last port is where mommy met your daddy at" Vicki says as she was going to lay with her

(Next morning)

Merrill heard Merritt and he was glad she slept through the night after the long feeding and Doc wanted to check her out and see where she was in her weight as well and that was fine with him

"Merritt you did really good I think grandpappy has a bottle for you with your name on it in the fridge so he will warm it up and once he feeds you he will get you dressed and we will head to see where mommy and sissy are" he says a she was going to change her damp diaper right now

Merritt was happy once she had a new diaper on and she was in her outfit of the day as well cause her crib had the moonlight shining through and she like that

"I think sissy and mommy slept on deck last night again, so let's go wake them up and I will take care of sissy since you are a happy girl and will be happy once I feed you and put you on your blanket cause Trig will watch you while I go and get sissy and mommy and bring them back, so mommy can get ready and sissy can be changed as well" he says as he finishes getting Merritt ready for the day as well

Merrill fed Merritt as he went to get Vicki and Georgina and he saw Trig was out there with breakfast for Vicki and it looks like she was going to have a special breakfast as well

"Sir with your permission of course I want to ask Vicki if we can go steady" Trig asks him

"Permission granted and once she wakes up I can take Georgina and I can eat in my cabin while I watch these two cause I don't mind at all" Merrill tells him

Georgina wakes up and Merrill takes her cause Merritt was done with her bottle as well so he was able to carry both girls back to the room as well for the morning so they could hang out while grandpappy eats his breakfast and takes care of some business as well

(That chapter is going to be a separate chapter maybe next week for sure cause I am working some Taxi stories I am hoping to go back to BTR sometime when we get more help at work as well)

"You two play nice while grandpappy has his breakfast at the table" Merrill says as he puts the twins down on their blanket since they were in different outfits for the day and they had their bellies full as well from their breakfast and they were going to eat again in two hours while Merritt ate in an hour cause of her weight and all and he was okay with that he was able to multitask with her while he had to do his captain's duties
