A day with grandpappy Stubbing

Merrill loved that he was able to watch his granddaughters for a full day cause Trig wanted to spend some more time with Vicki cause he wanted to ask her the big question that night under the stars cause he wanted to work up to it and Merrill understood that as well cause he wanted to see how he could juggle the twins by himself at times and of course he was going to have Milo there with him cause Merrill told Milo about Merritt's tummy trouble Milo was going to see what he could do to help her feel better and back to her normal self as well cause this was killing him on the inside as well that Merritt could not gain weight or eat well like her sister was

"Okay girl's you two play nice while grandpappy has some paperwork to take care of and once he is all done he is going to take you girl's for a walk around the ship and maybe take you two up to the bridge so you two can see where the magic happens and what grandpappy does and where he drives the boat as well: Merrill says as he was checking on the twins as they were trying to play with their toys a little bit cause he had them doing tummy time on their blanket and they were loving it cause they got to see each other out of the corner of their eye as well

Merrill was able to get all of the paperwork signed and ready to go in the next port

"Okay you two now to go on that walk and grandpappy has a special stroller he is going to use on you two" he says as he was going to get the stroller out so he could take them on the tour of the ship cause he wanted them to see the rest of where they lived at and anything else that they could wonder about the ship that they were living on

Merrill gets the twins all situated and they were fully awake right now and he loved that cause they were going to be able to see everything the best that they could right now and he was okay with that cause they were his granddaughter's after all, and he wanted them to see and experience it all as well cause they deserved the best

"Okay girls we are off too see the rest of the ship" he says as he leaves with them

Merrill showed them some rooms that are important and are off limits as well cause if one of the crew members see the twins go into that room they were going to be in trouble not only by mommy they were going to be in serious trouble by him as well cause he was going to lay down the law with he girls as well

"Okay now off to the bridge my angels" he says as he takes them to see the bridge as well cause they was where he was going to be most of the time if they needed him for anything as well cause he wanted to let them know any door of his was always opened, and that they could talk to him when they had the need to talk to grandpappy

Merrill loved the time that he had with the girls cause this time he was never going to get back at all, so he wanted to make it count as much as he could right now cause the months are going to fly by for them and before he knows it the twins are going to be eating solid foods, crawling, talking and of course walking and he was hoping Merritt was going to be able to walk cause

(Bridge)

"Okay my lovely granddaughters this is where the magic happens" he says as he brings them in cause the stroller could not fit through the door at all

Merrill took them to a special area he had set up for them so when they were up with him they had their special area

"You two get to see grandpappy steer the boat a little bit today and see if we are on course for our next port of call" he says as he gets the twins situated

Merritt starts to get a little fussy and he was going to hold her as he was going to steer the ship

"It's okay sweet pea" he says as he was going to rock her before he did anything cause he had to get her calm down before he did anything

Merrill kept a sling up on the bridge and he puts that on and Merritt was happy

"There we go angel" he says as she calmed down and was going to be awake for a bit and he was okay with that cause Georgina was asleep so having her close to him was okay cause she was contented on his chest and that is how he liked it

"Hey dad how are my daughter's?" Vicki asks him cause she had to nurse them

"Good Merritt is contented on my chest and is happy as a clam and Georgina is sleeping in her bassinet" he says as he was looking over and he saw Georgina stir a little bit

Vicki was going to nurse her and she was going to nurse Merritt later cause she saw that Merritt was happy on grandpappy's chest

"Well Merritt you are honorary third captain today" he says as he puts her captain's hat on her head cause he got a captain's hat for both girls, and they get bigger as the girls get bigger cause since the girls are identical he needs to tell them apart

Merritt coos as the hat was placed on her head and she got comfortable again

"Dad she looks adorable in that hat" Vicki tells him

"I know she does and next week we are getting our portraits done cause since the girls are here I want them to be in the picture with me of course I am going too wear my black outfit for the picture of course" he says as he was going to feed Merritt cause she started to root for food so she had to be hungry
