Portrait with the twins: Newborn

Merrill felt that the line should have him with his granddaughters so the next cruise that was happening cause the twins will be close to a month old and should be able to handle holding still for a little bit and he was going to do one for each stage as well cause Merrill told the line about the twins and how cute they were the line decided they were going to have a portrait done of the captain with the twins at the newborn stage, the infant stage, toddler and preschool as well

"Vicki what should I wear for the portrait with the twins?" Merrill asks her

"The black jacket cause last time you wore the white jacket Georgina spit up all over it" Vicki tells him

"Oh yeah and this time if they spit up or get sick I can clean it up and should I hold both or one at a time?" he asks her

"Do one at a time that way you can adjust and of course Merritt has to be held a certain way as well" Vicki tells him

"Oh yeah I am going to do Georgina first cause I have to figure out how I am going to do Merritt's portrait cause she is my special one" he tells her

"Do hers with her on your shoulder or on your chest cause those are her sweet spots on you" Vicki tells him

"I'll do the chest cause she hates being on her back more and she loves tummy time" Merrill tells her

"Maybe you can do tummy time with her for hers cause she loves tummy time" Vicki says cause Merritt was on her belly and she was having the time of her life right now

Merrill had to weigh his opinions with Merritt cause she was a happy baby and he had to do this portrait several time and he was going to hold Georgina for her portrait and he had to figure out Merritt's portrait and he had the perfect one the two of them on the bridge together at night or he might do three together of the two of them together cause she was one happy baby

(Boarding)

"Merrill is that the same one who did your first portrait?" Doc asks him

"Yup and she is doing the one with the twins Georgina is going to go first after we sail of course then Merritt is going to go last" Merrill says cause Vicki was giving Georgina her bath and Merritt was napping right now so Vicki had to stay with them

Merrill was going to get his black jacket for Georgina's and Gopher was going to watch Georgina as Merritt has her portrait done as well cause Vicki stayed close in case they had to eat and Gopher was going to have a bottle or two in case they needed to eat when they were with him as well cause Merritt was an easy baby and she mostly was awake and she wanted to see the action as well and they made sure she had plenty of action when she was awake

(Much later)

"Vicki is Georgina ready for me?" Merrill asks her cause he wanted to get the portrait underway that way it could be worked on s needed the whole cruise

"Yup she is bathe, fed, and changed and ready for her close-up dad and Merritt is just waking up from her nap so I am going to bathe her and be right up cause she has a bit of a rash on her butt too so she is in a bit of pain" Vicki says to her dad

Merrill's heart went out to little Merritt and he wished he could make it better for her cause he hated to see the girls in any pain especially Merritt

"Tell Merritt after grandpappy is done with his session she gets extra cuddles" Merrill tells her

"Gopher is going to take care of her since I am going to be busy doing errands and pumping of course he is going to put her in the water and see if that helps her, and he is going to see what else he could do for her cause it is really bugging her" Vicki tells him cause she had to get busy once the ship got out of the harbor

Merrill was glad Gopher was going to give Merritt extra attention

"Vicki I am going to do Merritt's bath so you run along" Gopher tells her as he was going to bathe Merritt for her cause he was going to make Merritt a happy camper

Vicki was glad Gopher was going to help Merritt cause Vicki wanted Merritt to be all better and not in pain

"I think I am going to head out with Georgina and get the portrait started" Merrill says as he took Merritt with him to the room where the portrait was going to be cause the line wanted him with both girls in time and he was going to have that be on the bridge

"I know sweetie I know" Vicki says as she was going to undress Merritt for her bath

Gopher asked for a little breastmilk to add to the bath as well as some oatmeal to see if that helps Merritt with her rash

"Okay Merritt daddy Burl is going to give you a bath and he added some good things to help you" Vicki says as she undressed her daughter

Burl started the bath and Merritt calmed down and was happy as he bathe her

"I think it is working" Vicki says as she was going to wash Merritt's hair

"Me too I haven't seen her happier" Gopher says as he was finishing up the bath as well cause he was going to use cloth diapers he had picked up for her to see if that helps the cause of her rash

Gopher pricked himself a few times and Merritt was contented for the time being as well so Vicki took that as a win right now with her
