To those who know this. Then you all know what this is about. This all takes place after the events of "Spell Luck" Where we now see how the lives of the former louds are, as they soon become something they did not expect to see coming, a hero group known as the Royal Defenders. This was originally made on 6/25/2019.

439. Chapter 439

Spells and Louds.

Chapter 439: Saving the Owl Lady.

(The Royal Fortress.)

The whole place is on high alert and is somewhere in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. All artillery vehicles have been setup and are locked and loaded. From V4 Rocket Launchers, Wave-Force Artillery, Specter Tanks and Rhino Siege Tanks and of course, from the Terran Dominion Crucio Siege Tanks.

The Great Gate stands by and the Royal Defenders are ready for an upcoming battle. "Alright everyone, we have all we need and we are ready to move out!" replied Lincoln.

"We got all the artillery forces ready and we are poised to get back to the Boiling Isles, we are not gonna let Emperor Bellos take this win and take the Owl Lady!" said Jordan.

Leon and Sergei arrive in the Tiger Tank. "Okay, so why the hell are we not using the Royal Fortress by the waters or the Aegis Battlecruiser for aerial support?" asked Leon. "Would be much easier with the use of some heavy duty siege weaponry."

Gyro then arrives from his raven form. "Because if we use any of them, then Emperor Bellos will know of this and our stealth attack will fail, I can only cast as much energy to cast stealth onto some of our forces, plus the Royal Fortress and Aegis are way too big to cloak and might become too visible to the enemy, through cloud movements."

"So we use our siege weaponry to attack the prison and stop them from petrifying Eda and get her out of there, good plan, but where the heck is Pyrrha and Doctor Strange?" asked Leni.

"Not here" replied Victor. "Doctor Strange is busy fighting off Nightmare and the other magical allies have their own occupations across the realms."

"I sent Pyrrha back to Karazhan to get our new ally ready and no I'm not telling you who it is, yet" replied Gyro.

"Dude, how many freaking secrets do you even have?" asked Sam.

"Way too many" replied Hollow. "I shall also join this fight, I will provide some cover fire from my TIE Reaper Advanced, and this is the only high velocity strike craft we can use in this fight, since I modified it with a fusion and Pylon core."

"We have all we need for the fight and now it's time to stop this madness" said Neil. "We meet with Luz and her allies and then we provide a diversion for them to sneak in and get Eda out of there, but we must also come with them should they face the many traps from within, such as the leader of the Emperor's Coven, Lilith Clawthorne, Eda's sister."

Gyro sighs. "Don't remind me, I recall from what Luz sent me that Eda had a Grudgeby ball fight when Lilith found out where she lived a few days ago, and now she has accomplished her mission and has taken the Owl Lady."

"Have you even found a way to take down her curse?" asked Linka.

"Sadly no" replied Gyro. "But what I do know, is that the only way to remove the curse from Eda, is from the one who cursed her. Which means, the only answer is to find out who cursed her and then get them to remove the wretched Owl beasts curse."

"Well then, with all that being said, we should literally get out there and save our friends" said Lori.

Lincoln then turns his dual Shredder blasters and Mjolnir into his hammer Sky Striker. "Then let's get going people!"

They all cheer and have motivation to fight, but the moment is ruined as they hear someone barking and they all see a yellow dog.

"What the heck? Diogee, go home" said Lincoln. The dog barks and heads to the great gate, which makes a portal that sends him back to Danville.

"Again, how the heck does he keep coming here?" asked Carol. "This is…. Odd."

(The Owl House, the Boiling Isles.)

The Great Gate from behind the Owl House opens and coming out are the army and the Royal Defenders. "Okay, so I want every artillery unit to get into position onto the outer plains areas in the forest, we have to make sure the enemy does not know where we truly are, and also scatter your rounds so they don't know where it came from" replied Lincoln.

Then Hollow's TIE Reaper Advanced takes off and stays in stealth. "Hollow, what's the story from the skies?" asked Linka.

Hollow looks around the boiling isles. "We have a large crowd, this could be an issue and I cannot sense the presence of Eda within, but I do feel the power of Emperor Bellows within, but he cannot sense mine. It appears he cannot sense ours, he seems occupied by…. Some kind of plan, but I doubt it's about Edalyn."

They all hear this and don't like it. They all look to Gyro, who is starting to look worried. "This… This is…. Something's not right here."

Then Boomer goes to them. "Guys! Luz Noceda is not here! She's gone!"

This shocks them and the whole siege army even stops what they were doing. "What?!"

Then Hooty shows himself from the roof. "Hoot, it's true. Luz and King went off to the town of Bonesborough to get Eda back, or at least try and find a way into the place and get Eda back."

This is a major concern to them, then Neil asks Hooty. "How long has she been gone?"

"Hoot, um, maybe an hour or so" replied Hooty. "I don't really know, but when she came back, she was crying and really, really upset. You guys have to help them, I think something bad is gonna happen."

They all look to Gyro. "Guardian, what do we do now?" asked Linka.

Gyro feels like rage is fueling within him, and that his inner thoughts are now filled with pure vengeance, something that Luz might also be feeling, but he shouldn't let it cloud his judgment or his agenda.

"Alright, listen up! Bellow has no clue about what we're doing still, and chances Luz is gonna need some backup early, and her friends are also bound to be part of, this is what will happen" said Gyro.

"All siege forces be on stand by and await further orders, I want Luna, Lincoln, Leon, Sergei and Gwen to sneak into the palace and find out where the hell Luz is, I will meet with you guys soon enough once my other ally is ready for the fight, the rest of you will stand ready and prepare for the signal to siege and bombard the area once they commence the Petrification of the Owl Lady, but we make sure we avoid the civilians in the place."

"Hollow will be above and coordinate where the rounds will strike and evade the populace, once we have found Luz, then we commence rescuing the Owl Lady, at that point we need smoke rounds and confusion gas, we won't be affected, for we shall be protected by a barrier I will make and then we make a run for it, or Hollow will come down and get us out of there. Should Bellos try and do the job himself, then I shall fight him."

They knew that last part was not good, but they trust that Gyro knows what he's doing. This is of the upmost important and they must make sure this goes as planned, or improvise if things don't go well.

"We know what to do Guardian, lead the way" said Lincoln.

Gyro smirks. "Then we're going in! Everyone, get ready for the fight!"

(Beneath the Petrification prison.)

Luna, Lincoln, Leon, Sergei and Gwen stand ready and sneak around the prison place, but they did notice something was odd earlier. "You know, it wasn't hard for us to find Luz, I mean she left a lot of destruction back there" said Linka.

Earlier, when they arrived, they spotted tons of guards and members of the Emperor's Coven being shackled and taken down by a cascade of spell effects: From ice, fire, plants and others. Luz did this for sure.

They even ran into Warden Wrath and took him down with ease, all with the might of Luna and her Runeblade Frostmourne, now they continue to look for the witch's apprentice.

"We have to wait for Gyro to come here, he said he had to look into someplace to see what happened to the place where Eda was captured" said Gwen. "Let's hope he doesn't get caught by the Emperor or his coven army."

"You know, we haven't even encountered they're strongest of warriors or their most cunning traps, something's wrong and Lilith hasn't even shown herself either" replied Sergei.

"Remain a watchful team, we don't know what we're gonna find in this place" said Lincoln, they all remain vigilant, but Leon sees something.

"You mean like that?" They all see the signature Owl Door, the very same one that leads to the human world where Luz came from, and it's open for some reason. "Well, this can't be good."

Lincoln and Luna then realize something. "Guys, something, or someone is coming through the door!" said Luna. "Ready yourselves!" They lock and load their weapons and powers.

Soon, they see what comes out and are shocked. "Lilith?!"

And it is, the sister of Eda who comes out with her staff ready and she sees all of them. "Who are you people? What are you doing here?"

Then a raven flies in and turns into an angry Gyro. "Lilith!" He strikes her away with his staff and she collides with the wall. She gets up and sees Gyro heading to her at full speed, she manages to teleport away from him, but Gyro appears and hits her again and she hits the other wall.

"You wretched little piece of shit! How dare you curse your own sister?!" yelled Gyro. This shocks the others. "What?!"

"You deserve so much more than just imprisonment you wretched witch!" Gyro's eyes glow and he is ready to take her down with his full might.

Lilith uses her staff to help herself back to her feet, but she's having a hard time, weakened by Gyro's attacks, but then Luz gets in the way. "Stop!" Gyro halts his assault.

"Luz?!" They all stand down. "What are you doing? And what is King doing here? He'll get himself hurt!" said Gyro. He lowers his staff, but his magic of Fel is still lingering and ready.

"Guys, Lilith realized her mistake and now she wants to help us save Eda, the Emperor lied to her and now she wants to stop his plan and get Eda out of her punishment, before it's too late" said Luz.

Gyro and the others couldn't believe this, they didn't think this could happen, but it seems Gyro doesn't seem to believe this. Then someone comes out of the shadows and helps Lilith back to her feet. "She's right, she is not a threat to all of you and would wish to see her sister saved from the Emperor and his vile plans."

They are all shocked to see who it is, someone who passed away long ago to sacrifice to save the cosmos. "No way!" said Lincoln. Leon and Sergei faint from seeing him.

Gyro calms down. "En Taro Tassadar, Dark Prelate."

The figure then looks to Gyro, or should i say Zeratul looks to the Guardian. "Adun Toridas, old friend."

"It has been too long, what brings you here and what is the reason why I cannot slay this wretched witch for what she did to Edalyn?" asked Gyro.

"Because her destiny is not to fall by your hands, for she must survive to ensure that she can be able to redeem herself and in finding how to neutralize the curse that lurks within Edalyn" replied Zeratul.

This was something they did not expect, especially from one of the most well-known and well respected heroes of Protoss history. "Then, what must be done great one?" asked Gyro.

"Allow Luz Noceda, Lilith Clawthorne and this little creature to head off and attempt they're plan into freeing Edalyn from her prison, use your forces to ensure that your plan to rescue them afterwards works" replied Zeratul. "But, should something come to bring bear to interfere with everything, then engage them and I will also join you."

Gyro knows that Zeratul knows wiser, and has been friends with him even before Zeratul fell to his demise. "Very well then, we shall meet again soon my friend."

"After that, we shall meet when the time is right, once more" Zeratul then phases into the darkness.

Gyro then goes over to Lilith. "Go, save Eda and stop this madness before it gets out of hand and Luz…. Be careful, Eda wouldn't want you to get hurt, you know how much she cares about you."

Luz nods. "I know, and whoever that guy was, I wanna thank him for this."

Gyro nods and with the others they head out of the place and let Luz, Lilith and King handle their own plan. Lilith then looks to Luz. "Who the heck were they?"

Luz chuckles. "That's not easy to explain."

(Later.)

All of them are standing by for what is to come, Lincoln and Linka are in the air on their Netherdrakes and keeping an eye on the place in stealth alongside Hollow. "Guys, we see movement and… Oh boy, Lilith and King have been captured" replied Linka.

This wasn't good, they all knew this was bad. "Guys, is Gyro there? IS he visible?" asked Neil.

"No, we don't know where he is and… Wait! Luz has surfaced!" said Lincoln.

They spot Luz Noceda rising from a platform and she uses a plant glyph to shatter the enchanted statue of petrification, therefore the spell is not complete and Lilith can be able to try and stop the spell from affecting Eda.

"Guys, I think everything is gonna be okay" said Linka. But then they see the emperor's coven arriving to stop them, and just as Eda is about to be done healing, Emperor Bellos arrives and looks to them in anger and chains Eda with some sort of chain spell. "Okay, so this turned bad real fast, looks like we'll need that artillery diversion now." They then hear this mighty dragon roar. "Dad, was that you?"

"No, why?" replied Neil. They then look to what they see with their high-tech binoculars.

They then spot this large red dragon arrive and then bombard the area with fire and send many of the civilians into cover, but they are casted by a force field spell from Gyro and Pyrrha who are both on the beast.

"Guys, I think Gyro's ally is here and he looks kinda familiar" replied Lincoln. They look closely and so do the others from afar with their high-tech binoculars. "Wait! Is that Smaug?!"

They then hear the voice of Gyro vie psychic. "Send in smoke rounds and shaped charges, now!"

All the Siege tanks and all the artillery forces begin to bombard the area surrounding Eda and the others. "Keep firing and do not stop! We take this fight to the Emperor of this wretched realm!" yelled Leon.

The Emperor and his forces see the giant flying beast sending down fire and then someone jumps off and lands next to Eda and the others. "Hello Edalyn, glad to see you in once piece and alive."

"You? What the heck are you doing here?" asked Eda. They then see the magical chains have been shattered.

"No time! Fly, now!" yelled Gyro. Eda nods and she grabs Luz, King and Lilith and she uses her wings and they fly off, Gyro then looks to Emperor Bellos. "Now, time for us to see who is superior, you wretched witch emperor!"

Bellos activates his staff. "I do not know who you are, or why you're here, but you will not stop me!" They then clash, staff vs staff. The rest of the Emperor's forces try to help, but they're all being taken down, one by one by the Dark Prelate.

"You shall not stand alone Guardian!" Zeratul then strikes down more of the Emperor's forces and then shadow warps to strike another and then he comes to Gyro and kick Bello's in the face. "We must keep them occupied, if we are to marshal our forces out of this world!"

They continue their fight against him, Bello's sees this fight was getting out of hand, and his powers were no match for what Gyro has. Gyro keeps casting a hailing bombardment of spells, from fire, ice, plant, fel, earth, iron, dark, light, lava and arcane.

Soon, he gets word from the others. A communication from Lincoln. "Gyro! Lilith has secured in taking down the curse of the Owl Lady, sorta. We're falling back and Pyrrha has arrived with the dragon you never told us and she's casted a powerful barrier to keep the enemy from coming here, again. I think you and Zeratul should fall back, now!"

Gyro then puts Bello's into a frozen prison and he looks to Zeratul who finishes slaying one of the guards. "Time for us to go, old friend."

Zeratul looks to Gyro and slowly disappears into the shadows. "We shall meet again, soon." He was soon gone, Gyro sees Bello's about to break free and so Gyro smirks and mass teleports away.

Bello's is soon free from his frozen prison and he looks to everyone, his plan and his trap has failed and now everyone seems to be sort of against his rule now. But deep down, he will not fail, for he was able to get some broken parts from what the human girl gave him earlier.

(The Owl House.)

Gyro arrives to the place and he sees Luz hugging Eda, and so does King and Hooty, while Lilith sighs and looks to herself, she now has a white streak on her hair and her right eye is grey.

Gyro calms down. "Well, that ended well and all we have to do now is just hold our own and wait. From what I was told from Zeratul, this is a path they have to take, and we must be vigilant to aid them for when trouble comes to them once again."

They all agree and soon bring their forces back to their world, then Luz goes to Gyro. "Guardian, I…. I destroyed the door to my home."

They are all shocked, but they knew she had a reason, even Eda knows this and is saddened that Luz can't be able to go back home, then King recalls something. "Wait. Can't the Guardian be able to open a portal for Luz to go home?"

Gyro sighs. "That part is not gonna be easy."

They're all confused by this. "What do you mean?" asked Lilith.

Gyro takes a bit of Luz's hair. "Sorry about that, but Doctor Strange has done this with Thor once." He then uses his magic to extend the hair and then he creates a circle and an incantation and he tries to open a portal to Luz's world and they see the portal to where Luz came from, but it glitches and fades. "That's why. I may be able to open portals, but the pathway to Luz's earth is not possible to breach even with the Great Gate. That door that Luz took, is the only path for her to take. So, we're following realm pathway rules."

Luz feels sadden by this, she knows her mom is gonna be upset with her not headed back soon, but she chins up and looks to all of them. "It's okay, I understand and I don't feel worried at all. We'll find a way for me to go home, I'll be patient."

They all smile seeing her courage into seeing the brighter side of things, but Eda knows deep down Luz is feeling upset and she will be facing more than a few days of guilt and misery blaming herself for the loss of Eda's door.

The Royal Defenders go towards them. "You may not be able to go home, or even get the human things you need to sell, but our world is always open for you guys to come and visit and we'll do what we can to help you guys get home" replied Jordan.

"We got your back, all of you" replied Linka. They then look to Lilith. "Oh, and also yours, maybe."

Luz was happy for this, even though she can't go back to her earth, she can still visit another and try and feel like, she's home. But for now, she'll be happy with the home she has now, the family with Eda and the Owl House.

"Well, this is a good ending, for now" said Gyro. He then sees all of the Royal Defenders looking to him upset. "What? What did I do? Is this about Zeratul? He'll come and see me again and tell me what else might happen, so we don't have to worry."

They all did not want to hear that and they point to Smaug who's looking to all of them confused and then he waves towards them all. "Oh him, well that's a long story, in which Hollow, Leon and Sergei already know."

They all look to those three men. "Wow. Nice, thanks for telling them about that one you retarded spell caster!" yelled Leon.

"This is gonna be one awesome aftermath, for some of us" replied Sergei.
