Gunnar talks to Merrill
Georgina cooperated for her grandpappy and she held really still the whole time she had her picture drawn and painted and Merrill loved it cause Georgina's grandmother was included cause that one was staying on the ship cause he was having four pictures done of the girls and he wanted Georgina to be apart of it no matter what as well and he wanted to surprise Vicki with it at her birthday celebration every year
"Okay when does Merritt want hers done?" the artist asks Merrill
"I am going to do hers in my office cause of her birth defect that she has I am going to be on the floor with her and on the couch as well cause she is the most comfortable on her stomach then her back" Merrill says cause he had to get his office ready for when Merritt gets her portrait done as well
"Okay we can do hers the next cruise since this one is about over and Georgina had to be moved a lot as well so she was comfortable since I had her in position and that was in your arms and she held still most of it unless she was cranky and she needed to be moved to a different position or she needed as well" the artist tells him
Merritt could be on her stomach, and be a happy camper as well and stay still the whole time and the artist will be able to do her just fine and Merrill was going to have her lay on him while he wears his black jacket cause she is the one who rarely spits up on him as well and he was okay with that and he could be on the floor with her so it was settled Georgina was going to have hers done with the white Merritt was going to have the black and Merrill was going to do one with the two of the together with him and Gopher and of course Trig and Gunnar as well
"Hey Gunnar" Merrill says as he came into the office cause Trig had Georgina for a bit and Merrill wanted to see about Merritt's portrait cause hers was next
"Hey Merrill" Gunnar says to Merrill
"What's going on?" Merrill asks him
"Just thinking right now cause Trig told me that he wants to marry Vicki and the two of them want to be a family, so I don't know if I am ready for his wedding, and I didn't think he is really serious about marriage, and the idea od us becoming in-laws as well instead of enemies I don't want to think about it" Gunnar says as Merrill sat down as well cause Gunnar dropped the bomb on Merrill cause he figured Merrill better prepare for when Vicki tells him that she is engage to Trig of all people
"I better be ready as I can for when she does tell me the news cause Gopher, her and me are doing pretty good raising the girls on our own without the girl's father in the picture as well and Vicki did not want to tell him when the girl's were born or what is wrong with little Merritt as well cause she wanted to be pretty quiet about it and I have to prepare for when the girls are mobile as well cause they are going to get into all kinds of trouble as well down the road and Merritt will want to keep up with her sister of course, and there might be a possibility that Merritt will need help getting around like walker and a wheelchair too. I am just glad that she has Trig who is really supportive as well and is willing to help her out in a pinch as well cause these girls are a lot to juggle right now and her being a first time mom as well that is not going to be easy on her either" Merrill says as he was going to hold Merritt cause Gunnar wanted to see how he could handle one baby and then he was going to do the real test with both of them in case Vicki gets pregnant again and he becomes a grandfather for real
"Merritt isn't that bad she is a easy baby and I was able to get a lot done until she wanted to be held" Gunnar says as he was looking at Merrill right now
"I know and you never get over that feeling of being a grandfather either these two will have your heart especially when you were able to help deliver one of them and have the other one lay on you right after birth for her operation as well cause there was no greater feeling in the world to have her and her sister here" Merrill says as he was going to rock Merritt cause it was getting close to her nap and she always want to sleep with pappy
"I hope one day I can get those moments like you do cause I want that feeling that you get with the twins especially one sleeping on you" Gunnar says as Trig brings Georgina in as well cause she was really cranky and Vicki wasn't around right now, so Merrill was going to show Gunnar all about little Georgina and what helps her stop crying when she is really upset like that as well
After a while Georgina settled down and she got comfy on g-pop Gunnar and she started to go to sleep on him and both captain's went to sleep with a girl on their bare chest cause Georgina needed that comfort as well like her sister did
"See once she gets used to you she will feel comfortable on you" Merrill says as he looks over to see Georgina fast asleep on Gunnar
Gunnar smiles at Merrill and he was looking forward to more of these moments with the girls as they get older in life and being able to talk to them and let them know he was also there for them
