World of Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers 2022
Inside Ten-Forward Bar and Grill
Forward Avenue, Bunker Hill District, Los Angeles, California
Ten Minutes Earlier
"May I propose a toast?" the brown-and-white furred, brown-nosed chipmunk said to the other Toons seated at the booth with him.
Chip watched as his fiancee Lahwhinie, best friend Dale, Gadget Hackwrench, her husband Zipper and Monterey Jack held up their respective glasses.
"To the Rescue Rangers," Chip said. "We may have spent the better part of three decades apart, but once we came back together, there was nothing that could—or that can ever—stop us."
"Hear hear," Lahwhinie said before they clinked their glasses together. Then, as Chip and Lahwhinie kissed, Dale pretended to gag But deep inside himself, Dale was happy for his once-and-future best friend.
An African-American woman in odd clothing walked up to the Rescue Rangers cast's table. "Just heard you guys got #1 at the box office. Congratulations," she said.
"Thanks, Guinan," Chip said.
Guinan, the enigmatic proprietor of Ten-Forward, smiled then moved off to handle other customers. Dale then looked at his friends.
"Then, let me propose a toast," Dale said. "To the people who have enjoyed—or will enjoy—Rescue Rangers x The Fast Saga. They have good taste."
However, before they clinked glasses, an explosion sounded outside the bar. The Rescue Rangers cast looked out the window and saw the remains of several vehicles smoldering and passers-by running every-which-way trying to escape from the chaos.
There was another explosion, which sent another burnt-out vehicle careening towards the booth that they were sitting in. "DUCK!" Chip said.
Chip, Lawhinie, Dale, Gadget, Zipper and Monty ducked under the table. But the car's bulk never crashed through the window above them.
Gadget looked up and saw something that made her gasp. "Guys, look!" she said.
The others looked up and saw an eerie green glow surrounding the remains of the car. The glow then sent the wreckage flying in the opposite direction,
As the glow faded, the Rescue Rangers cast could see a mysterious red, blue and silver figure holding a batch of black-and-white-garbed figures at bay while other people were evacuating the victims of what was going on.
"Let's go see if we can help," Chip said. The others nodded, then left Ten-Forward.
Chip ran up to the figure. "Can we help?" he asked.
"Sure," the figure said. "There are other Toons about your size that need help evacuating the action zone."
"Sure thing," Chip said.
Twenty minutes later, the area had calmed and the giant became wreathed in light. The light faded to reveal a tall blonde-haired human.
A woman with purple and black hair walked up to the blonde man. "The area is secure," she said.
"Great, Mal," the blonde said.
The blonde then turned his attention to Chip and the other Rescue Rangers cast members. "Thank you for your help, Chip," the blonde said.
"It was the right thing to do," Chip said.
The blonde smiled. "To tell you the truth, it was a good thing this happened," he said.
"What do you mean?" Dale said.
The blonde bowed to the Rescue Rangers cast. "I am King William of Cinnabar, and I have been looking all this city for you guys," the blonde said in introduction.
"What do you mean?" Zipper said.
"The incident that occurred here today was caused by a group known as the Army of Inter-Universal Chaos," William said. "They caused this attack in an attempt to take you five out of commission."
"Why?" Gadget asked.
"You five-" William gestured to Chip, Dale, Gadget, Zipper and Monty. "-are the vital element from this world that, when combined with the vital elements from the other dimensions that the A.I.C. are threatening, will form the only thing that can stop them forever." William finished.
"I understand that we are important," Chip said, gesturing to himself and the other Rescue Rangers cast members. "But I can't do whatever you require of me without Lawhinie."
"I wasn't going to ask you to try," William said. "Anything that happens to anyone with a close bond to a Grand Key component can affect that component...for good or evil. For that end, I ordered the other members of my team to evacuate Clarice and Gadget and Zipper's children to our mobile operations center."
"Thank you, King William," Dale, Gadget and Zipper said.

We have finally located the Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers cast. And with their coming aboard this vessel, we now have all thirty worlds' Grand Key components. With this, we are preparing to execute the final phase of Captain Burnham's plan to salvage the original DDV Enterprise.
Aboard TARDIS designated Gavan's Glory II
Central Control Room
William walked into the control chamber and saw Rok-Tahk and the members of the King's Hand preparing to set course for the World of Descendants.
"I am told by Agent Evans that we all have you to thank for the swift discovery of the A.I.C.'s plans to take out the Rescue Rangers cast," William said to Rok-Tahk.
"Yes, Your Majesty," Rok-Tahk said.
"Well, in that case...thank you," William said.
"King William, this is Gadget," a voice called out on William's communicator.
"Go ahead, Gadget," William said.
"Can you send one of the Prodigy people to mine and Zipper's quarters?" Gadget asked. "Our kids just read about their cancellation and needed to hear what really happened."
"I'm sending Rok-Tahk down to you, Gadget," William said. "Hopefully, she'll be able to help you tell the little one what happened."
"Much obliged," Gadget said. "Gadget, out."
William smiled at Rok-Tahk. "Have at it," William said.
Rok-Tahk smiled at William, then exited the control chamber.
William then turned to face the members of the King's Hand. "Set course for the World of Descendants, nine months ago," William ordered.
"Course laid in," Poppy said.
William took a deep breath then threw the engine enable lever forward. It had all come down to what was in the world and time they were now heading to.
