Spells and Louds
Chapter 446: A discovery to change everything.
(October 3. Poké-Bear National Lakeshore Camping Grounds.)
The sun is up and all Pokémon are awake and spending their goodbyes to the preteens who have spent so much fun with them for past five days.
Many of them hop aboard the school bus and Coach Keck is prepping for the vehicle to go, but then she calls out. "You guys sure you don't wanna ride with us?"
"We're sure Coach. We got our own ride later and we're gonna wait for her" replied Lincoln.
"Okay then, see you guys at school on Monday" replied Coach Keck. She gets back into the bus and she drives off with the rest of the students, many of them are confused as to why Lincoln, Jordan, Linka, Aggie and Simon won't join them, but the friends of the five staying behind tell them why.
Lincoln, Linka, Jordan, Aggie and Simon wait, with their Pokémon Absol, Arcanine, Lopunny, Misdreavus and they're new addition, Clobbopus.
They wait by the lakeshore and look around the place, then Camp Counselor Xavier and his Pokémon Rillaboom go to them. "Still waiting for your ice-borne sister to get here?"
"We are sir, and my sister is also with her and they're gonna be here, soon I hope" replied Simon.
"And from what Lincoln said, my Indoraptor is also inbound with them and that they're bringing in some FutureTech forces to help maintain this place and make sure no one else comes to harm this land" replied Jordan. "They'll also provide some supplies to help keep this place sustained and healthy."
Xavier smiles hearing this and so does Rillaboom. "Well, looks like this place is gonna get the change it needs and I am looking forward to when you guys do come back here. You're always welcome to come and stay here as long as you guys want, along with your friends and family."
Then they hear a loud roaring noise. Xavier and Rillaboom know what that means. "Looks like we got a fight sparking, chances this is a fight between Darmanitan and Simisear, again. We' got this kids, just sit here and wait, we got this!" Xavier hops onto Rillaboom and they head off into the woods.
"So, you guys think he's related to Becca Chang?" asked Linka. "He seems to be just like her, to the fact he tends to jump into action on the back of an animal, er Pokémon."
"We can figure that out when the time is right, we have one thing we need to do when we get back to Great Lake City soon and that's the birthday of Ronnie Anne that we missed and she's 13 now" replied Jordan.
"She's right, we missed her birthday on September 30 and we all have gifts for her" replied Aggie. "We just go to Great Lake City for a visit and greet her a late happy birthday."
"I have never met the Santiago's or the Casagrandes and I hope they don't freak out when they know about where I came from and what happened to me" replied Simon.
"Everything will be fine" replied Lincoln. "So, when are you hanging out with Stella next time?"
The three girls also wanna know, since they did hear about him asking Stella about something. Simon blushes and decides to tell them. "We're gonna have a nighttime hang out on October 9. I do hope I know what I'm doing, otherwise I'm just being an idiot."
"You're not an idiot, you got this and you seem to know some things about Stella and we know you can make this work" replied Aggie.
"Let's hope the rest of the Sharp's are gonna be okay with this, but who am I kidding, they'll be ecstatic about this and will do whatever they can to help you out" replied Linka.
Lincoln chuckles. "Yeah, this sounds like something that happened to me long ago." they all chuckle, and then they hear the roar of a large beast, this causes many of the Pokémon to take cover and hide.
They look up and see a very familiar Frost Wyrm come into the place along with some Dropships and other aircraft filled with FutureTech personnel. "Looks like they're here" replied Jordan.
The Frost Wyrm comes down and the first one off of the undead ice dragon is the Indoraptor Dominic, it then lands on top of Jordan and licks her face. Jordan chuckles from this. "Okay, okay. I missed you too big guy." the Indoraptor then does the same to Lincoln and Linka who also laugh at this.
Then Luna and Sam come down and chuckle seeing this. "Looks like someone missed his mommy and friends!" said Sam. She then sees her brother. "Simon!"
"Sam!" They both go to each other and hug it out. "So glad you're okay little bro and I we heard about what you did last night too."
Simon chuckles. "Glad to see you again sis and I do have some else to show you." Then the little Clobbopus appears and it on Simon's feet and looking to Sam.
"Whoa! What the heck?" Sam is shocked and so is Luna. "Wait, did you…. You have a Pokémon partner now?!"
Simon smirks and he pets the head of this little guy. "Yeah, we have so much to tell you guys about what we did here and how Stella and I found this little boxer. He's Clobbopus, the Tantrum Pokémon, and he is one feisty little fighter."
"Well, now that we're all here, we can begin to leave now" replied Jordan. They then see the dropships fly by and head off to establish someplace for the base setup to make an outpost to keep an eye on this place. Dominic helps bring their things onto the Frost Wyrm.
Then Lincoln looks to Luna. "Before we go guys, I think Luna and Sam have something to tell us."
This gets the attention from Linka, Jordan, Aggie and Simon and they feel worried about this. "Okay, so what the heck is it?" asked Linka.
Sam and Luna look to each other and nod. "We should go and find someplace to talk, someplace no one can hear us" replied Sam. They all nod and go someplace behind the cabin where Lincoln and Simon stayed and they begin to talk, or better yet, Luna and Sam tell them what they found out, from the base of FutureTech, but they leave out the part where they made something for them for their birthdays.
(One long explanation later.)
Luna and Sam look to the kids and see their shocked faces and the Pokémon as well.
"I….. I…. What the what the heck is even going on?" asked Jordan. "I have the Zerg traits in my body?! All because I was lingering way too close to Zerg! But… But why?!"
"From what we read from Martin's report, I think you're DNA might have been related to someone who has some unique traits, which we have to check on when the time is right, or when FutureTech finds out who you're ancestor is" replied Sam. "You do recall Sarah Kerrigan, she was born a unique Terran, a Terran with rare and powerful psionics, and chances you could be just like her."
"I don't even know how to even imagine Jordan as the queen of blades" said Simon, Aggie elbows him. "Sorry, just saying and also kinda freaked out here."
They then look to Linka. "Does…. Does Leni and Loni…. do they know about this?"
"Not yet, we haven't told them yet, and chances the guys at FutureTech are planning to, soon" replied Luna. She then looks to Lincoln who looks to the distance of the lake with no emotion. "Linc, you okay bro?"
Lincoln sighs and he hugs Luna. She's shocked by this, but she hugs him back. "I'm fine Luna, I'm fine. It's like….. Like a dream I once had, and now it's coming true. Almost like I feel the fate of what we stand for has changed and now we're closer than sibs, we're like two of a kind, and I like it…. Mom."
They're shocked to hear him call her that, but Sam and Jordan have always known he would sometimes call Luna mom, when no one else was around.
Luna and Lincoln then break the hug. "So, what do we do now?" asked Aggie.
Sam sighs. "Luna, it's you're call or it's Lincoln's call."
They look to Luna and Lincoln and they both think about it, they both then think of the same thing thanks to their demonic and ice powered bond and they look to the others and smile. "We tell them when we get back home."
They all nod to this and they head to the Frost Wyrm, which is now being looked upon by dozens of little Pokémon. Luna chuckles seeing this. "This place is sure going to be the talk of Michigan."
"We have to make sure this place is maintained and secure, the one thing we don't want are a group of people who want these guys for other purposes" replied Aggie.
"Kinda like Team Rocket, or some other evil corporation" replied Simon.
"And that's where FutureTech comes in" replied Sam. "They're gonna setup some surveillance and outpost to make sure this place is watched over and have some well-trained staff who know how to treat Pokémon properly, and chances Camp Counselor Xavier is gonna be the man in charge of the place."
They all hop onto the Frost Wyrm and they begin to take flight, they all wave goodbye to the Pokémon of the place and even wave goodbye to Xavier and Rillaboom and they fly back home, to Royal Woods.
(Spellman Estate.)
The large Frost Wyrm flies through Royal Woods and soon makes it back to the home of the Spellman's and lands in front of the place, but they do notice somethin there. "What the heck are these aircraft and vehicles doing here?" asked Jordan.
They see some aircraft from very familiar allies such as Victor, Hollow and they see the Louds van, Rosato van and the Sharp family truck. Luna and Sam knew something was up. 'I think it's time.'
They all get off of the Frost Wyrm and the main door opens and Michelle Lewis and Courage and Gothorita come out and go to them. "The rest of the teams and family are waiting for you guys, we'll handle the bags and stuff."
They then head to the house. "Guys, I think they're telling them what they found out" replied Lincoln. They all understood, it was time. "Let's go and see what they have to say."
They all open the doors and enter and see everyone they know are there. Neil, Gwen, Lily, Leni, Duchess, Sunset, Timmy, Peter, Ember, Kick, Adagio, Aria, Sonata, Rick, Jesse, Loni, Leon, Sergei, Loona, Fenrir, Felicia, Dana, Becky, Carol, Martin, Victor, Penny, Jack Cyber, Tadashi, Dr. Bruce Banner, Doctor Strange, Doctor Fate, Artanis, Vorozun, Zagara, Stukov, Hollow, Alarak, Captain Horace, Gyro, Pyrrha, Bill Cipher, Boomer, the Loud family and Pop-pop and Myrtle, Gwen's mom, brother and cousin, Diane Spellman, Sabrina and their pets and Pokémon.
They all had confused and concerned faces. "So, is this about the whole thing involving the research from McKenzie?" asked Jordan.
They're shocked they know. "How the heck did you guys know?" asked Penny.
"Yesterday, Martin left his tablet on the table, Sam and I saw what was on it" replied Luna.
They all look to Martin who is shocked. "Oh wow. I did not see that one coming."
"Ream smooth man, real god damn smooth!" replied Victor.
Luna, Sam, Lincoln, Jordan, Linka, Aggie and Simon sit onto the other large couch. "So, you guys feel alright with what they told you guys?" asked Linka.
Neil sighs. "To be honest, I have no clue anymore. I mean, I didn't expect someone who's not family yet, to be the one with the genetic strains to be close to be as strong as me. I mean, Hollow trained you, Luna and Lincoln in the ways of the force and now you have that powerful Primal and Hive Mind Zerg strain, the very same one I have within and also the same one Kerrigan also had long ago."
"It is only a matter of time before her full power comes to bear and she might be the next one to rule over the whole of the Zerg swarm" replied Stukov.
"As the new Queen of Blades" replied Zagara. "Or, however she wishes to name herself, also Abathur will be told about this, which means he will wish to examine the genetic DNA samples of the Rosato girl."
"Got the samples he needs right here." Jack Cyber hands the Brood Queen a container with DNA samples from Jordan.
Rick and Jesse look to Jordan. "Sweetie, whatever choice you make is okay with us" replied Jesse.
"We know you have been hanging out and helping fight the good fight and we're proud of you and whatever choice you have for the future, we will accept it" replied Rick. "I just never thought you'd be given something far more beyond that we have, plus I'm also helping to figure out who the heck are our ancestors that may have given you this unique DNA to accept the Zerg strain."
"We have a whole lot of work to do" replied Tadashi.
Jordan sighs in relief and she looks to Neil. "So, what does this mean for me now?"
Neil sighs. "Well, once you gain the feeling of Zerg control, then I will teach you, or you might learn from experience as Sarah Kerrigan has, but she had to go through the birthing pond to do so."
Jordan feels like that's one thing she doesn't want to do, go into a green pond of Zerg genetics, but she knows that she can be able to hone this power through teaching from Neil and not through the appendages of Abathur.
Leni and Loni then go to Linka and they hug her. "You guys aren't upset with what happened to me?" asked Linka.
They then depart from the hug. "Linka, we're not disappointed or even upset, but we do wanna know how you're feeling about all of this" said Leni.
Linka then sighs and tells them. "Well, I am confused and still in shock from this, but sure as heck I am not disappointed. I just, never thought I'd inherit what Leni has, I guess hanging out with you have spread some of the pollen of new life."
Loni smiles. "I'm okay with this too, heck even Mr. and Mrs. Spellman are, they knew something might happen to you, they just never thought it would be by the hands of your legal guardian, Leni."
Gwen looks to Linka. "Should you suddenly feel the plant borne powers gaining, then you can train under the leaves and petals from Leni, just as Luna helped Lincoln with his ice and demonic powers."
Linka looks to Leni, Leni nods and kisses her little sisters forehead. "I'll do my part, so you can advance from being the late bloomer and gain this new power for the greater good. Embrace the powers of nature and spread the kindness of the green world."
They all smile hearing this. "Okay, why the hell are we making plant puns now?" asked Hollow.
They then look to Lincoln and Luna. They can see that Lincoln isn't upset at all from all of this. "You seem alright with this revelation Lincoln" said Lisa.
Lincoln looks to all of them with little to know issues. "Well, I guess I've always felt like something was up and that something was always with Luna. Ever since she gave me some of her blood, I felt the sibling bond we had was getting closer and closer and turning into something…. something I have been dreaming of and that's the bond between a mother and son, which I have also felt when we first met long ago, when I was brought into the house and she held me."
Luna smiles and she pulls her brother close to her and kisses his forehead. She then looks to the others. "We just wanna know how you dudes feel about this stuff.
They all look to each other, and they all didn't have any troubling faces, they all understood this.
"We do believe that this new discovery from FutureTech, might be the destined prophecy that Gyro may have seen and it could be the path you two will soon take, when the road ahead gets harder and harder to go by" replied Artanis.
"He's not wrong" replied Gyro. "With everything going on, and times changin real fast with the future closing in fast around us. This path of a mother and son thing, might be the one you two have been dreaming of to truly come true, the revelation to the purification of the blood of the louds within you."
They all look to Gyro at what he just said. "Everything you said sounded harsh in so many ways" replied Hollow. "But, it is true."
The louds felt like those words were like a punch to their family. But they understand. "We always knew you two would be close, having this mother and son bond was okay and then having this new bond that is coming true, I guess we can be alright with it" replied Rita.
Lynn Sr sheds some tears. "Even though…. even though it means…. That you two aren't related to us anymore!" He then starts to sob, which makes everyone uncomfortable. Rita tries to calm her weeping husband from this.
"Oh suck it up man, this is making things so much awkward as it is" said Leon.
"We're okay with it" replied Leni. Lily as well. "We knew something was gonna happen with the two closest sibs and we knew the bond would go farther and so it has."
Lily then speaks. "But deep down, we'w aw sibwings still." They all awe at this, she's learning. Also, does she understand what's going on?
Lincoln and Luna were happy that everyone was fine with this, they then look onto Neil and Gwen. "Mom, dad. Are you guys alright with this news?" asked Luna.
Neil and Gwen hold hands and smile, they then look to Luna and Lincoln. "Guys, this is something we have to discuss, right before Lincoln's birthday. Or better yet, something we should discuss when the New Year closes in" said Gwen.
"We wanna speak about this to Luna, a backup plan I had long ago during the victory we had at the court last year" replied Neil. "We'll tell you when it's time to discuss this, alongside the President if he's also fine with this. This is going to be the biggest meeting ever within the family. Well, just me, Gwen, Leon, Sergei and you of course Luna."
"But deep down, we know you both know what we're talking about" replied Leon.
Lincoln and Luna know, and they both look forward to what Luna has to do, the future has changed once again and only time will tell on how their fates will unfold.
Then Jack Cyber speaks. "I'm dating Bobbie Fletcher, the racecar driver and we've been seeing each other for the past months, well two months ago." They all look to him, except for the FutureTech guys and Gyro, and also Lana, Rita, Lola, Lisa and Lynn Jr.
"What?!"
"I kinda knew" replied Hollow.
(Skip, nighttime.)
Lincoln and Luna are both sitting on the bed and looking to the window and the stars shining.
"So, we're gonna have so much to deal with now that we're the only ones in the family truly related with the new Blood line we have, or should I say the one you forged and is now within me" replied Lincoln.
Luna pulls him closer and he leans onto her shoulder. "Yeah. Linc, whatever happens and whatever goes on, I just need you to know that no matter what happens in the future, just know that deep down we'll always be closer than sibs, not lovers but something more family related my wayward son."
Lincoln smiles. "I know, but until the big meeting comes, we're gonna have to remain siblings. But when we're alone, we can console to each other…. as a mother and son."
Luna smiles and she kisses his forehead. "I love you so much little brother, always and always my little boy of mine."
Lincoln hugs her and kisses her cheek and closes his eyes. "I love you too Lunes, my big bestest sister of the mother."
Luna rocks him back and forth and she hums a soothing tune, a tune he once heard long ago when he was just a baby and he slowly drifts off to sleep.
Gyro in his raven form sees this from the walls of the Estate and smiles. 'If this is what their future holds, then perhaps the day will come when we inform them of the Loudverse, where it is claimed to be the realm known as, Family of Two.' He then takes to the skies and flies off.
But from the shadows someone else sees them, an old friend from the Koprulu Sector. 'It appears fate has come at last and the day will come, when they will face the hardest of battles and continue with their part in keeping the realms and all things living secure, through the future family that will be sparked, until we meet again Lincoln and Luna. Adune Toridas.'
The figure then fades into the shadows and takes off in his ship, the Void Seeker.
