Chapter 449: Poké-After High.
(Ever After High.)
The word of Ever After High is busy with preparations, preparations for the arrival of some very special creatures. They have setup all the decorations and some special food for their new guests and then they see Neil and Gyro walk through the Great Gate.
Apple White, Ashlynn Ella and Rosabella Beauty go to them. "So, are they coming?" asked Ashlynn.
"Whoa girls, calm down now. They'll be here soon and I love how everyone made this place look so welcoming and that is a whole lot of Poké-food" said Neil.
Gyro and Neil see the place has some decorations that look like second and third evolved Pokémon and even legendary ones and they have tons of food for them to enjoy, let it be healthy or something as a snack and they made sure everything was cleaned and that all the magical wildlife isn't gonna cause some trouble either. They also make sure Faybelle and Kitty don't do anything troublesome.
"Now this is gonna be a welcoming sight and I see the team has arrived as well" replied Gyro. They spot Lincoln, Luna, Leni, Linka, Jordan, Sam, Simon, Peter Sharp, Aggie, Sunset, the Dazzles, Loni, Leon, Sergei, Michelle Lewis, Courage and Gwen with Lily and of course they're Pokémon.
"Well, they came just in time and right after their classes were over and they're doing such a wonderful help" replied Apple. "Also, what's with that?"
They see the Zerg Drone still with Jordan and helping them with the décor and handling the food. "Oh, well that one's complicated. Anyway, best be get everything else ready for some finishing touches. We got word from Arceus that Xerneas is allowing Pokémon from his forest to come here, so stand by and get ready also where the heck is Whitemane?" asked Neil.
Gyro then sees here. "There she is."
Sally Whitemane arrives on her Gryphon mount and with her are five DragonHawks with Blood elven warriors. Then Evil Queen comes in with the dragons and the staff also come out of the school and also Baba Yaga's house lands in front of the school.
"Well, looks like we're all set and ready" replied Gyro. Apple, Ashlynn and Rosabella then head back to the others and help them finish everything else.
Neil and Gyro continue to walk around and see the place. "Seems kinda odd for us to put this event on a Tuesday instead of Monday" replied Neil. "But it was necessary after what happened with Luz after you're class."
Gyro sighs. "I'm planning to give her one week off my class. She's still troubled after the incidents with Emperor Bello's and Eda will have to comfort her and tell her that it wasn't her fault."
Neil also knows where this goes. "So, she still blames herself because she destroyed the door that Eda uses which is also the same door she uses to go back home to her earth and to her mom?"
Gyro looks to Neil. "You have a way to make things way too specific right now, but yeah. Luz is troubled and she hasn't gotten over things, and I'm also doing the same to Edric and Emira for not helping keep Luz under wraps, thank god I stopped all of it before she made that glyph spread throughout the school."
"Way too much chaos on that day, well we should get this whole event over with." Neil and Gyro go over and they help keep track of what's happening and they talk about some things with Sally Whitemane.
Luna helps setup a snowy area in case they might have some snow-borne Pokémon in the area. Lincoln is also helping and Lincoln sees Jordan with her Indoraptor, Lopunny and the Zerg Drone go to them.
"You still have that drone with you my love?" asked Lincoln as he stops making some snow with his Shredder Blaster.
"Yeah, he's pretty handy and also loyal, kinda like Dominic and I was thinking of naming him, but he seems to be alright being called Drone" replied Jordan. "He also knows how to handle washing for some reason."
Lincoln and Luna are confused by this and then Linka and Leni approach and are shocked to hear this. "Well, looks like the training with dad must still be ongoing" said Linka.
"Not really, but I am planning on doing some more training and this drone is willing to go through with any lesson that could…. end him." Jordan pets the head of the Zerg Drone.
At first they're confused by what she said, then Sunset goes to them and figures it out. "Because the drone turns into a zerg structure and that means he'll be gone and remain as a mutated structure for a long, long time."
Jordan sighs. "Yeah, not gonna be easy when he's gone." She pets the Drone's head and they know she's gonna miss the little guy, even though it's been like two days since she met this Zerg Drone.
Then Leni gets an idea. "How about when the next time you train, you can try and control the Drone to turn into a Hatchery? The Hatchery does have the mental thoughts of the Drone from before and chances he'll come back through the larvae."
They all look to her and think about this. "Leni's not wrong, that could work, but to make this happen make the Hatchery someplace where the creep ground won't ruin your backyard" replied Luna.
Jordan looks to her drone and thinks about this. "Hmm, a Hatchery, from the Drone with me and then have more Zerg that are incarnations of the little guy Now that sounds like a creeping idea!" They all chuckle at what she said.
"Anyway, you guys think Liam, Tabby, Mollie, Sadie, Richie and Flat Tire are doing well in Canada?" asked Linka.
"Chances they might be, I mean they wanna go there for the snow fun and also the pancakes" replied Lincoln.
"Lynn must be kinda jealous not going there for hockey, I question why they didn't have this last year" said Sunset. "Lynn would've loved going to Canada."
Luna then makes an igloo. "And then Lynn gets aggressive and she'll end up hurting and insulting the other team and it turns into racism and she gets into juvie, again." They all think about this and Luna's right.
Lincoln then makes a small snow flurry cloud above with lingers and continually makes light snow fall. "So, how's the training with you sis?"
"Doing well, I mean Leni said we'll be going for trees and now I can hear flowers talk. Though they seem to be interested in sleeping for this season. I mean, winter is coming and we can't blame them" replied Linka. "Chances I'll be hearing so many snores from everywhere when snow falls in town, until the end of February."
"You're going to experience the whole plant powers soon enough sis." Leni uses her vines to make some fruit trees grow some fruit that Pokémon can eat. "So cool that I can now grow plants that are for Pokémon to enjoy."
Meanwhile, Whitemane is helping hoist the colorful piñata of Team Rocket Balloon onto the tree branch. Gyro sees this. "Ha! A Balloon of those retards who keep attacking and stealing Pokémon, nice call! Sure wish it was Team Galactic, or some other low-life and evil corporate team of dorks, but this alright."
"Well, Apple White and Ashlynn Ella did their research and we decided this could be good for the little Pokémon to enjoy beating and possibly evolve" replied Whitemane.
Gyro chuckles and they look around the place. "I can already picture Pokémon going around this place and enjoying everyone who lives here and doing their part to help out, closely similar to Royal Woods, Great Lake City and of course Rhine City."
"Yes, I will make sure that both people and Pokémon treat each other with respect and chances I might have one of my own, don't know which but I look forward to this day and what it could bring to this world in the far future" replied Whitemane.
"Yeah." Gyro says in such an odd and yet loving tone, which confuses the Stewart of Ever After. She then sees what the Guardian sees.
Gyro is looking to Michelle Lewis who is helping setup the Apple Pies, and as the wind blows, in Gyro's eyes she's in slow motion with her hair whipping in the wind, and she looks to Gyro, blushes and waves at him. This makes Gyro wave, but he accidently uses his staff and it hits Sergei and he falls to the ground.
Sally Whitemane smirks. "Have you two dated yet? Are you two planning on getting close someplace else?"
Gyro is shocked she knows, then he knows why. "Spellman told you about me and Michelle?"
Whitemane smirks. "Yes, yes he did." She then walks away. "Make you're move and start the life you want, you only get one shot Guardian."
Gyro chuckles and looks to Michelle. 'I still don't know if I even deserve such a life with that woman.'
Then he gets punched away by an angry Sergei. "Watch where you hit people you jerk!"
(Hours later.)
Everyone gets ready and Gyro looks to the portal and his eyes glow. He then stops his glowing and smiles. "Alright everyone stand fast and get ready, this is gonna be close!"
Everyone in the Fairytale land gets ready to welcome their new guests into their world. "Oh! I'm more excited than a fish going up stream and having a tea party with a card and a fork in the road is just ready for them to face the colorful hippo!"
Neil and some of the others look to Maddie confused at what she just said. "What?"
Gyro then feels something. He then goes to the Great Gate and he feels the structure shaking. "What in the name of all things shadowy and Grimm is this?"
Pyrrha comes out of the portal and she bolts for it. "Incoming!"
Gyro then stands in front of the Great Gate and watches as Pyrrha takes cover behind some tables. Gyro then looks to the portal and he sees some kind of shadowy wave headed towards him. "Oh fucking shit."
The shadowy wave is actually tons of baby and other kind of forest dwelling Pokémon and they all run him over. "Ow!" Stomps from Shieldos, Cranidon, Rhyhorn and Taurus. "Ow!" Running talons from Doduo. "Ow!" A massive army of Chikorita, Bulbasaur, Turtwig and Squirtle. "Ow!" Geodude's and an Onyx come out and crush the Guardian. "When will this end?!"
Truth be told, there are so many Pokémon that it's not easy to see when this will end, so suck it up and take it like a man Gyro.
All of the students and residents of Ever After are pleased to see the Pokémon and interact with them and pretty much the stampeding mob of Pokémon stop as some Cubchoo arrive.
Gyro is now on the ground and in so much pain. "Thank goodness I can heal, though this still hurts."
Michelle Lewis goes to him and so does Pyrrha and they help Gyro back to his feet. "Are you alright Guardian?" asked Pyrrha.
Gyro gets up and he twists his neck and then his spine. "Oh yeah! Hell yeah!" Then he falls back to the ground. "I'm just gonna lay down here and enjoy my misery of eternal spine busting, at least that's all over."
Pyrrha then looks to the crowd and all of the Pokémon. "Something seems to be missing."
Then the portal glows and Gyro sees some large feet coming out. "Oh for the love of god, why?!"
Coming out of the portal and crushing Gyro are Regirock, Registeel, Regice and Regigigas. Michelle and Pyrrha back up as these large robotic looking Pokémon guardians walk by and go into the woods.
"Well, it's over now" replied Michelle. She then helps Gyro and with the help of Pyrrha. "Are you alright Gyro?"
Gyro is in a daze and he looks to Michelle. "Every night I dream of us being in bed and having the time of our lives." Then he falls back to the ground and Michelle turns red. This becomes so awkward for them.
Now let's go and see how the others are doing with the Pokémon Company.
Raven enjoys the new Pokémon that has settled in with her, from what Neil knows from FutureTech and the Poké-Bear Camping Grounds, this bird is called Rookidee.
Maddie and the Wonderland students are enjoying the company of Spinda, Shuckle, Buneary, Bunnelsby, Darumaka, Mr. Mime, Ditto, Litwick and Zorua and Maddie has found her Pokémon companion, straight from the Galar Region: Hatenna.
Lizzie Hearts is enjoying a companion who seems to be as sharp as her voice when she says "off with your head!" A Pawniard. How convenient indeed, her mother will be happy for this.
Cerise and Ramona are enjoying the wolf-looking and dog-category Pokémon. From Poochyena, Houndour, Lilipup and Eevee and there are a lot of Eevee and then they hear someone scream, that would be Leon after a shock from his Yamper, and they laugh from that one.
The boys are amazed by this new kind of Pokémon that will truly act as guards to the school. Golurk and Darling has found her Pokémon companion within Honedge.
Faybelle is busy having a time of her life flying around and showing off her magic to some Drowzee and some Gothita, she even catches the attention of some other Dark-Type and Ghost-Type Pokémon.
Kitty is lazing about and fast asleep on a tree with some Meowth's, Purrloin, Glameow and Skitty.
Hopper has made friends with some Frog-based Pokémon, from Poliwag, Tympole, Froakie and Croagunk, and his girlfriend Ginger Breadhouse has found a friend within this new Pokémon which makes everyone confused: Milcery.
Briar Beauty is fast asleep, and next to her are some Rowlet, Whismur and Slakoth. Then a Snorlax joins in on this sleeping group and so do some other sleepy Pokémon.
Farrah Goodfairy has made friends with some Cleffa and Clefairy. Holly and Poppy are happy to meet some very fluffy and furry Pokémon, mostly Furfrou.
The Evil Queen may have made a partner already, a Bagon. Wow. Dragon-Type and he's not letting go of her leg, this is sweet but also annoying Professor Evil Queen, Gyro does laugh seeing that.
Of course Crystal Winters is there and she enjoys the snow-based Pokémon and would love to have the stay at her home up in the winter lands high in the mountains. She enjoys the Snorunts and Cubchoo.
Rosabella of course is getting to know each Pokémon and also keeping an eye out in case some of them might get hurt, she has been looking into Pokémon care.
Ashlynn and Hunter have made friend with almost so many of the Pokémon who like them and of course Hunter's animal companion Pesky tries to flirt with a Pachirisu since they're both squirrels, but he forgot that this squirrel is electric and he gets shocked.
And of course, last but not least. All the Pokémon are truly attracted to Apple White, this seems normal.
Neil smiles seeing all of this, then he's shocked to see Gothorita happy to talk to a…. Swanna?! Wait what?! That used to be Ducklet?!
Neil and Gwen are shocked, then Duchess goes to them. "I have a lot to explain don't I?" They nod and this makes Duchess chuckle. "Well, I guess it all started yesterday, after you left the school."
Everyone continues to interact and know more about their new residents to the world of Ever After High. Simon and Sam smile seeing this and they're Pikachu and Clobbopus also play together. "So, this is happening and is nice to see huh little bro?"
"Yeah." Simon then takes a deep breathe. "I asked Stella out on a date and we got one this Friday."
Sam is shocked to hear this. "Wait what?! Whoa! Does dad know about this? What about Ember?"
Simon turns red. "No, not yet. I wanted to tell you because you are my closest sister and I thought it be best to tell someone who I can fully trust and have always been bonded too, I am planning to tell the rest of the family, soon. Though, I think Lincoln and some of the other guys and gals know."
Sam smiles and she pulls Simon close to her. "Well, don't you worry about it little brother, we'll make sure you are prepped and ready for the biggest date of your life and we'll always have your back should something go wrong."
Simon smiles. "Thanks." they then hear some panicking and some ice being made. "What the heck was that?!" They race to the scene and they see a large block of ice and inside it is, Lincoln?!
Luna is shocked and she goes over and uses her powers to break the ice, then some Fire-Type Pokémon help out and so does Peter and his Rapidash and Arcanine. "Hang on bro! We're getting you out!" yelled Luna in desperation as she tries to break the ice.
Nel'Thorious and Shall'Cross use their Nether-fire to help melt the ice and Absol goes in with his claws trying to break the ice. Cerise and Ramona also help out.
This is something no one saw coming and Sam looks around. "Dudes! What the heck happened?!" asked Sam.
Bunny Blanc then tells them. "It…. It was…. We were just enjoying everything and…. And this happened for some reason and they're crying." They see some Cubchoo crying, which means they made the ice beam and froze Lincoln.
Soon Lincoln is broken free and he falls to the ground, Luna goes over and sees he's alive and well, but shivering. "L-L-L-Luna? W-W-Wh-What h-h-h-happened?" Luna does her best to keep him warm and then some Charmander go to him and they help with their tails to warm him up and so does Rapidash and Arcanine.
Neil is confused and also angry and he looks to everyone. "What happened?! Someone tell me who saw what happened now!"
Blondie then steps up. "I got it all on my mirror!" She puts it on the big screen and they see what happened.
They see Crystal with the Cubchoo playing, but then Maddie with her Pokémon are doing what a normal mad hatter does and she accidently jumps out of nowhere and scares the Cubchoo and they freak out and send an ice beam towards Lincoln who was going to get something to eat, he pushes Jordan and Linka out of the way and takes the ice beam from them.
They all gasp and look to Maddie who realized what she did, her Pokémon Hatenna hides in her hair. "Oh, I am so, so sorry."
Luna then gets up and carries her brother back to the Great Gate. Neil on the other hand is livid and so is Jordan and Linka, but they also follow Luna to get Lincoln warmed up, that was a direct and powerful ice beam he got hit with.
Neil then looks to Maddie in anger, but he calms down. "I'll see you in Detention, for the whole month!"
Yup, this has been a day they did not expect and to think seeing Gyro get run over was the high light of the day.
