Glitchtrapped Chapter 04: The Prince and Princess of the Mega Pizzaplex Part 01: Dark Ploys Brewing
By IrysGundam005
Within the Pizzaplex, right above the Fazer Blast arcade, was a small room forgotten by the employees. A four-walled room with a white and black checkerboard pattern floor. Whatever its original purpose had been, it now served as a makeshift bedroom. A medium-sized mattress with a pillow and blanket was pushed up against one corner, along with a computer table against the wall across from it. Near the door was an arcade machine for a game called Princess Quest Three. And graffiti on the wall next to it were the words "VANNY & GREGLIN in purple.
This was the room of Vanny and Greglin. The former having set it up long ago as her little den of evil. A place to withdraw to and rest at the Pizzaplex. It was also their communication center and overview. The computer was hooked into every video feed within the plex. Allowing the two full view of seemingly any location they wanted. Ensuring none would escape the murderous sibling duo in their quest for blood.
And currently, it was occupied.
Greglin sat in front of the computer dressed in a set of Glamrock-themed pajamas and with his eyes glued to the computer monitor as he watched episodes of Glamrock Superstars in between bouts of listening to Omocelon and Baby Shark as well as checking up on the security cameras for any suspicious activities (or just to see what Vanny was up too). All the while he ate a meal comprised of a pineapple pizza with extra sauce, a bag of chips and a couple of tacos from El Chip, and a six-pack of Fizzy Faz to wash it all down with.
'Don't you ever get tired of that show?' He heard Gregory's voice ask.
"Nope! And why should I?" Greglin grinned, finishing off his current slice of pizza before going for another.
'I mean I like it too. But would it kill yeah to watch something else?' Gregory remarked idly. Having seen enough of Glamrock Superstars to last a lifetime (he was pretty sure he could win a trivia game of the show blindfolded at this point).
"Meh," Greglin said dismissively, as Gregory sighed and left his counterpart be. The latter smiled as he continued watching Glamrock Superstars. Laughing and giggling as he watched the titular heroes of the show -The Glamrock animatronics- blast their way through hordes of evil aliens. "Get 'em, guys! Make 'em bleed!" He cheered, before ravenously scarfing down another slice.
Gregory could only inwardly frown at his counterpart. The irony of him rooting for good guys while he was a willing bad guy had been lost on his alter ego. But then again, so were a lot of things.
Such as his ability to notice the obvious.
Greglin was so into his show that he failed to notice a certain white rabbit approaching their little makeshift home. If he had been paying attention, he would have seen Vanny lurking just outside the door. The red eyes of her mask peered into the room as she giggled at her little apprentice.
"Well, well. Looks like someone's enjoying themselves.' She thought as she quietly made her way in. Making sure not to alert Greglin to her presence. She slowly and quietly skipped towards him as she then reached out, and grasp his shoulders as she whispered into his ear. "Good evening, Greglin~" She greeted sweetly.
Greglin stopped what he was doing and spun around to face her as his face lit up like a Christmas tree. Inwardly, he could feel Gregory cringing at being so close to those red eyes of her mask as well as being off-putted by the distortion in her voice caused by her mask. But to Greglin, those red eyes were a soothing nightlight, and her voice a lullaby to his eardrums.
"Vanny!" Greglin exclaimed happily as he barreled into her for a hug, and nearly knocked her over.
She laughed as she put her arms around him. "Hello there, my little Geglin~" She cooed, ruffing up his hair. "And how are you this evening?" She asked, pulling back to look at him.
He looked up at her and beamed. "I've been doing just fine, Vanny." He said with a smile.
"That's good." She said, tapping him on the nose, and earning a giggle. "Have you been keeping an eye on the security cameras?" She inquired.
"Uh-huh!" Greglin nodded. Vanny looked at the computer screen and, though he couldn't see her face knew she was frowning much to his concern.
"Really?" Vanny asked, earning another nod. "Because it looks to me like someone's been slacking off." She accused.
Greglin then rapidly shook his head. "No Vanny! I haven't been slacking off! Honest!" He immediately insisted. Worried that he might have upset her. When he noticed her gesturing towards the screen, he looked back at it, and then back at her. "I've been checking the cameras! I have! I'm just taking a little break because there's nothing here worth keeping track of! I swear!" He insisted. Then, as if to prove his point, he stopped the show and clicked on one of the other tabs he had open. This one showed the images of various security cameras throughout the Pizzaplex. "See?" He said, hoping that this would appease her.
"Mm." Vanny hummed for a second or two before shrugging. "Alright! I believe you!" She said before running a hand through his hair again. "But only because you're such a good boy, Greglin!" She giggled, nuzzling his neck. An affectionate display he immediately returned.
Yes. He was such a good boy. One always eager to please, and doing exactly what he was told with little complaint. But that was what made him such a good little apprentice. So she didn't mind if he wanted to take some time to watch his favorite cartoons and whatnot. She could always trust that he put his job first and foremost before any of his childish pleasures.
Yawning, Vanny broke away from Greglin so she could lie down on their makeshift bed. Removing her mask as she sat it carefully to the side. She then brought her hands behind her head as her eyes fixated on her little protegee who had gone back to his show.
"You like that show, huh?" Vanny said, letting out another yawn.
"Uh-huh," Gregling answered, as he then turned to her. "Hungry?" He offered a slice of his pizza to her. She accepted, and happily munched on it as she continued to watch him as he went back to his show.
However, it seemed that Vanessa did not approve of the food he had given them.
'Ugh. Seriously? How can you heathens enjoy that crap?' She hissed at her alter ego.
'What? It's good!' Vanny insisted, taking a long, almost sensual bite from it. Much to Vanessa's disgust.
'It's heresy against the culinary arts!' Vanessa said back. 'The extra sauce I can at least understand, even if it's a bit too salty. But Pineapples!? Really!?' She demanded.
'But it's so yummy~!' Vanny argued back.
'Pineapple does not belong on a pizza!' Vanessa snapped. 'If you're gonna use my body to commit horrible acts, at least have the fucking curtsy to not put that junk in it!' She insisted.
'Oh, please. Don't be so overly dramatic.' Vanny told her while rolling her eyes. 'Besides. They both like it!' She said as she knew that both Gregory and Greglin had a fondness for the same pizza toppings. Making it one of the few times she had both Greggies in her court.
'Ugh. Don't remind me. Both of them are as bad as you in that regard!' Vanessa murmured, bemoaning the fact that she had no allies within the war of pizza toppings.
'Well, that just shows they've got good tastes.' Vanny smirked back. She could feel Vanessa rolling her eyes but decided to drop it. Which was good. Vanny didn't feel like getting into an argument over something as trivial as who enjoyed what on their pizza.
With Vanessa now quieted down, Vanny was allowed to contemplate their current situation with each other. And in particular, the two little ones they had picked up.
It had been little over five months since she had Vanessa bring Gregory into their lives and allowed Greglin to come into being. And things had been working out surprisingly well. The process of adopting the two Greggies had been relatively smooth and easy all things be told. Helped along by a few happy circumstances.
The first was the Churches. The relatives that had taken him in the wake of his family's death. Comprising of one Austin Church and his wife Karen along with their five children. The twins Richard and Rachael. And triples Joseph, Abana, and Yitro. All of whom lived on the ranch that Austin owned. A humble little Christian family...who scorned Gregory's existence.
As she had been informed by Glitchtrap and confirmed by Gregory, the brunette was an out-of-wedlock child. Conceived by his parents Ryan and Bethany before their marriage during a night of passion following a celebration of Ryan's new robotics job. It had been said pregnancy that had led Ryan to marry Bethany in the first place. A trait that many would have found admirable, save for the Churches. Austin in particular was scornful of the whole thing, as Bethany had been his younger sister. And believed that Ryan had defiled her. Though he had taken in Gregory as a "gesture" to Bethany, there was no love between uncle and nephew.
Austin and his family believed Gregory to be cursed. One put upon the Clovers as an act of punishment from the all-mighty. Austin along with the rest of his family had called him numerous things over the years. "Cursed", "devil spawn", and of course their favorite, "Gremlin". The whole family called him these things. And, during a phone conversation, had made it clear they wanted nothing to do with that "little hellion of a Gremlin!" before rudely hanging up.
'If only they knew now.' Vanny had thought, quietly giggling at their description of him while listening to the conversation via Vanessa. Though she had a feeling they one day would.
The only other place that the boy could have gone to was the orphanage he had spoken up to when they first met: Ms. Greta's Home for the Lost and Wayward. However, the boy's testimony combined with a thorough investigation (along with Glitchtrap planting some useful information along the way) had found that it was indeed, the hotbed of child's rights violations that Gregory had spoken of. And the caretaker, Greta Huffington, was charged with numerous incidents of child abuse. Chief among them was several accounts of sexual misconduct with minors, as well as numerous cases of child assault and labor.
Which, all told, would ensure the old bat was locked away for a long long time. Sadly, however, she had managed to flee the authorities. And had gone into hiding since. But that was okay. She could be dealt with in time.
In the meanwhile, the two Gregs had been left with no place to return home to. But that was just fine. That only made things a lot easier for all of them. Vanny had Vanessa immediately positioned to have Gregory adopted into her care. And though the CSP had been a bit suspicious of Vanessa at first (especially when she confessed to having been caring for the boy for some time up to that point), Vanessa's track record, despite her mandatory therapy sessions demanded by Fazbear Entertainment, showed she'd otherwise had a clean bill of health and was spoken of fairly highly by those who knew her. Including the fact that she was great with children. And combined with a passionate plea from Vanessa (one undoubtedly motivated by a desire to keep the now Glitchtrapped Gregory by her side as she had promised him), and before the two Vans knew it, their Gregs were now fully under their care.
Which was good. Because Vanny hated to have to lose him after all the effort she went into converting him. Especially if the investigation into the orphanage had been a bust, and Gregory and Greglin had been sent back to it.
'Not that him being sent back to the orphanage would have been too much of a problem,' Vanny thought deviously. 'All I'd have to do is slip in and take him back. Maybe slit old Greta's throat along the way. I bet Greglin would have loved to have seen me do that. Not that I don't doubt he wouldn't have been willing to do the job himself, of course. Hell. I would have left him hold the knife.' She added, before letting out a giggling fit of evil laughter that got Greglin's attention.
"What's so funny, Vanny?" He asked, tilting his head.
"Oh, just picturing having to have had sneaked in, and slashed up the throat of Greta if they had sent you back." She giggled evilly as she smiled like a fiend while finishing up her slice.
"Hehehe~" That made Greglin giggle like the gremlin he was. "Oh! I would have loved to have seen that!" He said, handing Vanny a can of grape Fizzy Faz which she accepted.
"I know that Master especially would have loved to see me cut her up," Vanny noted, taking a big gulp of the fizzling goodness Greglin had given her. "Your daddy's got serious hate on for Greta at the moment. And I know he is just begging for it to be released." She added.
Yes. William Afton wanted Greta Huffington's head on a platter. Her boss still seethed with rage over the old hag's actions towards his little boy. And she knew it would only be a matter of time before their ex-sister in the Cult of Glitchtrap paid the price for her dalliances. As her master demanded.
Speaking of the infamous Purple Guy, that was another thing Vanny found herself thinking about. Specifically, the fact that she had, for all intended purposes, brought her boss's son to him even not having known it at the time had won him over big time. Though he remained the coldly polite man she had always worked with, she could tell there was a subtle but noticeable way he addressed her. Whereas before his words always carried a certain... condescension to them (not that she minded), now his words were a lot more polite. And he seemed quicker to offer her praise.
It was probably helped by the fact that Greglin dotted on her like no tomorrow. And William Afton seemed, if nothing else, happy to keep his reunited child happy. So offering praise to her was no doubt a way of keeping Greglin/Evan in a good mood, and accepting him as his new father. Especially since he had agreed to let her take the boy under her wing, and mold him into the little killer he was destined to become.
A fact that made Vanny as giddy as a schoolgirl coming out of the old pizzeria after she had introduced Greglin to him. She'd not only brought in a new apprentice for the Cult of Glitchtrap that her master's digital counterpart had accepted but said the new apprentice turned out to be the reincarnation of her master's son from his old life. And he regarded her with enough fondness that William had personally entrusted the boy's education and training over to her?
Yes. Vanny had been left very giddy by the experience. The sensation was akin to waking up on Christmas to find you had gotten every single item on your wish list. Then going out and buying a lottery ticket and hitting the jackpot, before coming home to a surprise birthday party. All on the same day. She felt like she was wearing literal lucky rabbit's feet after that.
And just to test out how well her luck was, she went out and bought a couple of lottery tickets. One for five-hundred thousand dollars, and one for one hundred thousand dollars. And had scored the winning jackpot on times.
Vanny had gone out of that store dancing that day. Truly, she was rabbit footed! And she knew just how to spend their winnings.
The money from the five-hundred thousand dollar winnings had gone into getting a better apartment for Vanessa. A two-bedroom apartment that was a marked improvement over the original. They had also bought some new furniture and had filled the fridge and pantry with food. Not to mention some better materials to refine her costume with. Along with a special gift she had for Greglin.
In addition, at her insistence, she and Greglin had also allowed Vanessa and Gregory to customize their rooms to their liking. Since she and her apprentice thought of the Pizzaplex as their true home, they didn't offer much input. Though Greglin agreed with Gregory over decorating their room (which of course was Glamrock themed). And Vanny found herself adoring how Vanessa had done hers up. Gushing over the pink walls and puppy decor she added.
Admittedly, she had also influenced her subtly to add some rabbits in there. Much to Vanessa's annoyance. But hey. Bunnies and puppies were a winning combo! No need to complain.
As for the one-hundred thousand dollars, she left that up to both Gregory and Greglin in a little bank account, she'd set up for them. And allowed them to spend their little heart's content on whatever he or Gregory desired. Much to Vanessa's surprise. When asked about it, she smiled and said; "Vanessa! Shame on you! Don't you think that Gregory could use some spoiling after all his been through~?"
Though she did caution the two about spending all of their money. "Easy come, easy go" was the old saying. And Vanny, despite her childish persona, was smart enough to understand that. And Greglin was wise enough to listen. She also gently encouraged him to allow Gregory to use the money as well, much to his annoyance. Still, if nothing else, the boy listened to her and didn't complain.
So, all and all, life was good to her. Now if only their counterparts could be a little bit more cooperative with them. Then they would all be on easy street.
'Aw, well. They'll accept everything eventually.' Vanny thought to herself. Ignoring the "Fuck you!" she got in response. Vanny then began to stretch herself out as her body popped and cracked. The sounds of which got Greglin to pause his video, and turn to her.
"Are you okay, Vanny?" He asked in a concerned voice, earning a chuckle from her.
"Mm. Just a little stiff is all." She told him.
"Do you want me to help make you better?" He offered.
Vanny couldn't help but giggle. 'So eager to please.' She thought to herself. 'But then again, that's what made him such a good partner.' She added, before extending her arms out. "Come here, my little Greglin! Vanny needs her cuddle huggle snuggles~" She cooed pleadingly.
Cuddle huggle snuggles. That was what Vanny called it when she was in full costume and wanted to snuggle with her little apprentice. And she didn't have to ask twice either. Immediately, Greglin came into her arms and embraced the warmth of her arms. His head immediately went to her chest as he nuzzled against it so he could listen to her heartbeat. And she threw her arms around him, as she nuzzled her head against his. Occasionally leaning down to nibble on his ears teasingly.
"Ahahaha! Vanny! That tickles!" Greglin giggled as Vanny giggled along with him as she continued. Occasionally giving him a playful lick (which made Gregory's skin crawl) or snuffling him affectionately.
"Who's my good little cuddle huggle snuggle bunny~" Vanny cooed.
"I am!" Greglin answered with a huge grin.
"That you are!" Vanny smiled, giving him another playful ear nibble (and making Gregory worried that she was going to bite it off).
"Hahaha!" Greglin giggled before he then stopped her. Much to her surprise. "By the way, Vanny. I was wondering something." He said as Vanny noticed a dark glint in his eyes.
"Mmm? What's up, little bunny?" She asked, a bit disappointed he had stopped her. However, she could feel whatever it was it was important. So she would let him speak.
"When am I going to get to help you score a kill?" Greglin asked, with an eagerness in his voice that made Vanny giggle.
"Eager for some blood I see." She remarked, rubbing the back of his head.
Up until now, Greglin had mostly served in a support role. Within their home in the Mega Pizzaplex, he would sit and watch the monitors for the children they brought in as she hunted them. He was her eye in the sky, and though he played the role very well, she knew that he wanted to start rending and tearing with his teeth.
"Uh-huh," He confirmed. "I don't mind being here in our home helping you out, but I really wanna make you and Daddy happy! And I feel as though I could do that much more if I was out and about actually, y'know, killing?" He told her.
Vanny hummed. Pondering the boy's words. While it was true that he would one day have to take up the knife as well, he was still inexperienced at the art of killing. However, she supposed that the longer she delayed it, the less prepared the boy would be. Which would be very counterproductive to what she wanted with him.
Finally, she came to a decision.
"Alright. Next time we got a target, I'll let you be the one to handle it!" She promised with a bright smile.
"R-Really!?" Greglin asked in disbelief as he nearly jumped for joy. "Oh, thank you, Vanny! Thank you!" He exclaimed, hugging her from behind.
"Daw. Your welcome little bunny~!" Vanny cooed, giving him an affectionate nuzzle.
Inwardly, however, she could feel Vanessa's fury start to rise as their stomach turned. 'You bitch! How can you even think about allowing such a thing!?' She demanded.
'What? I'm just letting Greglin help is all!' Vanny insisted.
'Did you forget about Gregory and how'd he react to having ended a life!?' She asked though she was not surprised that Vanny hadn't considered that. When it came to the two Gregs, despite her proclamations of loving Gregory just as much, Greglin was always first and foremost in her mind. Gregory's well-being was always a secondary concern for her.
'Oh relax, Nessie. Greglin will be the one in the pilot seat. So it's not like Gregory will be the one doing the actual killing.' She rebuked in an amused tone.
'It's still his body! And he is still inside of there!' Vanessa argued back. 'And he'll still see and feel everything that Greglin is doing! I know. I speak from very personal experience!' She said hotly, as Vanny could feel her glaring at her from their connection.
Yes, Vanessa knew. She knew all too well. The sensation of having killed someone even if you weren't in control. She had witnessed it numerous times in the past. And even if she wasn't the one controlling the body, she was still witnessing it firsthand. And in some ways, it made it all worst. And when coupled with the fact that Gregory was still a child, she didn't even wanna imagine how horrible it would be for him.
'Oh, Gregory will be fine. He's a tough little cookie after all!' Vanny insisted. 'He survived a year on the streets all by himself, no? I'm sure he could stomach a little blood bath or two.'
'That has nothing to do with-' Vanessa's retort was cut short when Vanny unleashed a wave of psychic pain strong enough to render her unconscious.
"That's enough out of you, Vanessa. Time for a nap." Vanny said, sounding akin to a parent scolding a child.
"Vanessa giving you a hard time?" Greglin asked, sounding every bit as annoyed as Vanny felt.
"Oh, don't worry about her, little bunny. Big mean Nessie's just upset that I'm letting you help out is all!" Vanny assured, her voice going back to its original cheeriness. "But your big sis Vanny showed her~" She cooed, ruffing on Greglin's hair.
"Daw. Thanks, Vanny! You're the best!" Greglin beamed, much to Vanny's happiness. His smile then turned dark. "And by the way? I've got the perfect target all lined up for a slashing!" He giggled.
Now that got her attention. "Oh?" She pipped, returning his smile with one of her own that was equally as dark. "And who do you want to turn into a human steak?" She asked him.
"Here," Greglin said, as he then got the phone Vanny had bought for him, and scrolled through its photo file until he found what he was looking for. "This one!" He declared holding up the image for her to see.
On the screen was the picture of a nine-to-ten-year-old Caucasian girl. She was four feet and three inches tall. She had cherry-red hair tied into a pair of pigtails and held in place by a pair of pink sequined red hair bows, bright green eyes, heart-shaped lips, and a face covered in freckles. She was wearing a pink and red Princess-themed dress reminiscent of Cinderella's, pink pantyhose, and pink and red dress shoes.
"And who might this be?" Vanny asked curiously.
"Her name is Alice Thorn. And she's officially on my "to kill" list!" Greglin answered with a sneer.
"And what has this one done to provoke you so badly?" Vanny asked, curious as to the reasoning for Greglin's fury.
Greglin's answer came sharp and to the point. "She. Hurt. Freddy!" He hissed gritting his teeth. "Acted like a little brat to him when he went through the trouble of bringing the ungrateful twit her birthday cake. Threw a piece of it into his mouth, which made all the other guests join in." He then let out a hateful snort. "And all because it was "the wrong flavor"." He said, finishing the last of his sentence in what Vanny assumed to be a mocking imitation of a little girl's voice.
"I see," Vanny remarked, handing Greglin back his cell phone. "You do like Freddy and them, huh?" She chuckled.
"Of course! Who doesn't!?" Greglin beamed, before scowling. "Outside of unappreciative brats like Thorn!" He murmured.
Vanny knew she couldn't blame Greglin for his venom towards young Alice. After all, the lad had a certain...fondness for the animatronics. With Glamrock Freddy Fazbear being his favorite out of all. It was something that she wasn't certain was entirely his alone or shared between the two Gregs. Though she suspected it was something as a result of whatever emotions Glitchtrap had pulled up to create Greglin in the first place. And it was something she thought was quite odd.
Because whereas William and herself saw them as simply tools to aid in their objectives and nothing more, Greglin saw them as something more. Treating them more akin to friends or family than simple machines. She would often see him down in Rockstar Row speaking with them in their Green Rooms. Or getting one of them to take him to their attractions. She would sometimes find him either at Roxy's racing driving against the wolf animatronic. At Monty's golf as the alligator and he played around or two. Baking with Chica in her kitchen, or trying to make Freddy happy by performing his best at the Fazer Blast arcade.
Hell. He even had it in him to let Gregory enjoy these things if his descriptions were accurate.
Vanny didn't quite understand why he felt so strongly about them. And to be honest, it made her jealous. Nevertheless, she didn't object to it. After all. If it helped motivate the boy, she'd let him have his fun with their little minions. And she knew she'd always be number one in his heart.
And if one of them was injured by a bratty little kid, then she knew full well that would stroke the boy's fire, and make him eager for some blood. A few of her recent victims had been some such kids. She recalled the glee in Greglin's voice as she finally got one of them who, a day or so prior, had caused the alligator Monty quite a bit of harm (a baseball to the face that shattered his glasses, if she remembered correctly).
That night had earned her a heap of praise and compliments from Greglin. Which made her heart skyrocket.
Furthermore, it was easy to see why Greglin would hate her on a more personal level. The little brat was spoiled rotten. And had never been in a position of wanting. To someone like him, spawned from a boy who lost his family, got taken in by abusive relatives, forced to endure a hell of an orphanage, and survive for months on end on the streets by himself, she would be someone he would want to mangle with his own two hands.
Because what would she know about gnawing bellies, aching throats, and nights spent on a cold street with only newspapers for blankets? What would she have known about losing her parents young, getting shipped off to hateful family members, and then being dumped in a hell hole of an orphanage? What would she know about being spat on by those more fortunate than you, and having to steal or do other shady things just to get by? Or worry about finding a suitable meal from the depths of a dumpster while running the risk of making yourself sick?
Nothing! And that's what made her the perfect target for Greglin's fury. As such, she had no objections to this suggestion for their next target.
"Very well then," Vanny said, rubbing Greglin's back affectionately. "If she's who you want to kill, by all means, she's yours!" She promised with a dark smile.
Greglin broke out into an impish grin. "I'll be sure to give her a "surprise" she won't ever forget," He said wickedly. "in fact, I already got her demise all planned out." He added.
"Oh?" Vanny's interest was peeped.
He grinned maliciously. "She likes cake, right? Well, I've got a special surprise all lined up for her!" He said. "I just need to acquire a few things first. So let me know when we're gonna do it. Okay?" He asked.
She chuckled evilly. "Deal!" She said, tapping his nose, and electing a giggle.
"Hey, Vanny? Can I go see Freddy and them?" Greglin asked, looking up at her with pleading eyes.
Vanny hummed for a moment before answering. "Oh, okay. But only if you do your nightly routine at Mazercise first." She told him, smiling as she tapped his nose again.
"Don't worry, I will!" Greglin promised. "I wanna be big and strong so I can help you and Daddy out!" He boasted.
"Alright. But I'll be watching you~" Vanny cooed, nuzzling his nose with her own. Which Greglin eagerly returned.
To anyone else, it would have been a threat. But to Greglin, it was only a reminder. And one he didn't mind getting. His routine exercises as Mazercise were to help make him strong. And he wanted to be strong for William and Vanny so they could be proud of him.
And so, as Vanny allowed him to get up, Greglin immediately went to switch out of his pajamas into his usual attire before grabbing his shoes and leaving their little home-away-from-home. Grabbing a slice of pizza along the way. No sooner than he did, the computer screen started flashing with a purple hue. Knowing what ath meant, Vanny got up and walked over.
"Coming!" She called as she got in the chair. She was then greeted by the image of Glitchtrap. "Good evening, Master." She greeted respectfully.
"Good evening, Vanny. I trust that you and Greglin are doing well this evening." The digital doppelganger assumed.
"Very much so, Master," Vanny answered with a smile. "Greglin's doing just fine. You just missed him." She informed him.
"Indeed? And where did our little bunny go off to?" He asked curiously.
"Oh, his gone off to go do his nightly routine at Mazercise before seeing his mechanical friends," Vanny answered, earning a chuckle from the golden rabbit.
"Is that so? Shame. I was hoping to speak with him tonight. But I suppose it can wait," Glitchtrap said before his tone turned serious. "I assume you remember our little stray rabbit? The very naughty one?" He said.
"I assume you are speaking of Greta, correct?" Vanny concluded, earning a nod. "And what of our naughty little granny bunny?" She asked.
"Oh, I've been keeping tabs on her here and there. She's still unaware that there's a hit on her put on her by William," He remarked with a sinister smile. "And don't worry, my dear. I have every intention of letting little Greglin be the one to do her in." He assured.
"That's very kind of you, Master," Vanny said with an evil smile. "I'm sure that our two little Greggies will finally be happy to see that harpy's life end." She giggled.
"Indeed. Which is what I wanted to talk to you about." Glitchtrap said. "See, William and I have been talking, and we both agree it is for the best that the boy gets a little hands-on experience before dealing with Greta," He informed her. "After all. The act of killing can be very hard on someone for the first time. Lest of all a young lad like our little Greggies. So it's better we get the boy a little harden up before letting him end the old crone's life." He stated.
Vanny couldn't help but giggle. "Funny you should mention that. Greglin was just asking about the same thing," She said, earning an interested "Oh?" from Glitchtrap. "He has been eager to sink his teeth into someone, and I've agreed to let him take the next kill." She then let out another evil giggle. "He's even managed to pick out his first target all on his own. They grow up so fast!" She sniffled.
Glitchtrap, however, was both surprised and pleased by this. "I see. Well, good to know that the lad is willing," He remarked with a devilish smirk. "See to it that he is ready for the time when Greta Huffington's time is due." He instructed. "In the meanwhile, I wish you a good night, my dear apprentice." He bowed as his image vanished.
Vanny smiled as she leaned back in her chair. "Oh, I promise you, Master. Greglin will be more than ready by the time Greta's head arrives on the chopping block," She assured as she flipped through the video feed to find her little apprentice while also grabbing another slice of his pizza (much to Vanessa's displeasure). "And I just know he'll make us proud~!" She cooed, giggling evilly as she nibbled on her slice.
Meanwhile, Greglin was happily skipping through the Pizzaplex as he made his way to Mazercise. As giddy as a schoolgirl as he made his way through the bright, neon-lite halls of the pizzeria/amusement park. His eyes looked over the various attractions, shops, and all it had to offer.
No matter how many times he saw it all, it never failed to install a sense of childish wonder and excitement in him. But then again, maybe that was because he had access to it when he wasn't supposed to. And the implications it had for his alter ego.
Thanks to their shared connection, Greglin had full access to Gregory's memories. As such, he knew full well Gregory had been sneaking into the place in the past. Seeking shelter from the blistering cold and enjoying himself at the arcade games in Fazeblast when he was wasn't swiping leftover pizzas, or raiding the Lost and Found for keepsakes. Always careful to avoid the security team lest he'd be thrown out onto the streets yet again.
But that was a thing of the past. Now neither Gregory nor himself needed to hide. Now they could explore the Pizzaplex to their heart's content. As Vanny had used Vanessa's position to get him several high-level passes to the various attractions. That combined with the money they now had thanks to Vanny's winnings, and they were now free to mingle amidst the common populace as they too, took part in the festivities. To enjoy the Pizzaplex and all its splendor opening, and indulge in its offerings at their leisure.
After all. It was all theirs now. They owned this place.
Well, okay. They didn't technically own the Mega Pizzaplez. While officially it was owned by Fazbear Entertainment, Greglin knew that the real masters of this palace of food and fun were their father William, and their big sister Vanny. The true King and Queen of the Mega Pizzaplex.
Though he supposed Vanny was more like a Princess. She was too pretty to be an old queen.
But regardless, that for all intended purposes, made him a prince. The Prince of the Mega Pizzaplex. With full access to all of its treasures. It's food, it's toys, and most importantly of all.
It's subjects.
And thus, as Greglin entered into his regular exercise routine at Mazercise, he found himself grinning at that as he repeatedly ran laps throughout the attraction. As he began to recall the day he and Gregory first met the unwitting subjects of Princess Vanny.
The Glamrock Animatronics.
(Chapter End)
Author's Note: Hello, one and all. I'm IrysGundam005. And I see everything.
And thus ends another chapter of Glitchtrapped. And would you believe that this chapter as well is another one that got divided into multiple parts?
Specifically, the interactions that Greglin has with the Glamrocks that were supposed to happen here are getting pushed to the next chapter. Because holy fuck! The last chapter doubled my word count. I didn't even try to do that! Chalk that up to yours truly just being a wordy person. XD
So, yeah. This part of the story got divided into two parts. Go figure, eh? Side note: My apologies if it doesn't seem like this story is going anywhere in a hurry. My reason is that this is the first multiple-chapter story I am writing, and I'm wanting to take my time with it and go at my own pace with it. Thus I'm kinda taking it slow for myself. I understand if that's frustrating for a lot of you, but I hope those of you who have been reading are at least enjoying the character interactions with Greglin and Vanny this time around.
Now then, as for this chapter specifically. You might have noticed that Vanny and crew seem to have gotten a bit of a lucky street going for them. That's because one of the ideas behind this story is a sort of "twisted happiness" if you will. This will get touched upon a little more in both this chapter and a later chapter, but the idea of a form of happiness comes from something twisted and evil. As we are seeing here. Specifically regarding Gregory and his new circumstances.
Because of the way his life is now, it has seen marked improvements. He got a home, a "family", food, and money to spend. But it's all the result of having been forcefully indoctrinated into a cult and having an evil persona installed in his head. And now his being trained to become a child murderer to boot.
If the phrase bittersweet didn't apply before, it does now. And trust me when I say this, the death of Alice Thorn will be a harrowing situation for our poor little Gregory.
But that's for the future. In the meantime, let's answer some reviews!
To hardrocker21: Indeed. Little Evan is going to have a role to play in this story. By passive and assertive. I'm glad you liked it. :)
And with that, my friends, we come to an end for now. This has been IrysGundam005 and remember: I see everything.
Good night, everyone. And have a happy Fourth of July if you celebrate it! :D
