This is Chapter 3 of Tales of the Decade Second Season. Please enjoy it like a fan for Kamen Rider.
Chapter 3: World of Reversed Wind/Opposing Comrades
Walking alone in the cover of night, Daiki sneaks inside a dark, gray sky military city. This was the World of Negative and its main world: The World of Dai-Shocker, Dark Decade's capital city. This city used to be just ruled under Shocker but then became larger and less human due to Dark Decade's influence. Even its people, brainwashed from the day of their birth, were always cold and willingly to become monsters to serve Dai-Shocker.
Sneaking stealthily and avoiding the Dai-Shocker Monster Grunts patrolling the city. Daiki moves quickly till he arrives at a house, seemingly abandoned. He pulls out a key and opens the door to it. He walks inside and closes the door, staring at the indeed abandoned house. He walks around, dark and everything dirty.
He isn't surprised as he approaches a photo frame, showing the image of a younger Daiki, dressed like a police officer and a man who's not his father but rather his older brother.
''You never liked living here over serving him like a loyal dog, Nii-san.'' Kaito expresses with a cold yet disappointed tone. He remembers those times… the times before Dai-Shocker and Dark Decade. They had a lovely world, he was an officer to help his brother too and then they appeared. They fought and also repelled the invaders till he appeared. Dark Decade easily wiped the floor of any resistance they had and demonstrated his power by destroying our ''backwash'' world. They had no choice but entered his world and served under him… except a few who still rebelled. By then, Kaito did try but soon gave up when his own brother who made the rebellion sold it out to work under Dark Decade.
Kaito escaped as the last of his people of his world were all killed off. He chose to run so he can survive and realized the concept of justice is pointless to one's own survival and even one's own desires. So from then, he became a thief- treasure hunter, to survive and get what he wants.
Thought he wonders where was his-
Suddenly Daiki hears a sound and swiftly turns around so fast that he's already aiming his withdrawn Diendriver towards the figure from behind. He then raises an eyebrow, recognizing who it is.
Daiki stares at a strange cat-like creature, standing on both its back legs like a human. It is a Pokémon; a primarily purple, feline creature. Its head has tufted fur on its ears and cheeks. There are long, tapered violet markings above its green eyes like eyeshadow. It has a diminutive black nose on its creamy muzzle, and a small, oval, cream-colored marking above each eye. Its neck, shoulders, back, and hind paws are also cream-colored. The tip of its tail has a curved, vaguely scythe-like extension.
The cat-like Pokémon sweats heavily, very shocked. Daiki looks at her and remembers her. This Purrloin came into this world since her world was destroyed too. She's a thief, stealing anything to survive and while he was trying to pursue ''justice''; he had to catch her from stealing. He would capture her, by catching her obviously, but she would escape each time. This went on… until Kaito gave up his ''justice'' and left. So he left the Purrloin and took the Diendriver for himself, stealing in the first time of his life and hasn't changed since then.
''So you're still here huh?'' Daiki, sheathing his Diendriver away, questions the cat mon who blinks, purring really surprised he's back and different too.
''Nyan!'' Purrloin purrs as she asks him in her language why he's back. Kaito, also able to understand Pokémon like Tsukasa, replies to her. ''I've changed, nothing much.''
Looking around again, Daiki mutters rather upset. ''Was wondering if my brother was here.''
''Nyan.'' Purrloin protests as he never showed up since he left. Daiki hums, repeating what she told him. ''He never came back here huh?''
He begins to recall the last time they crossed paths… It was the day Daiki stole the Diendriver.
''Oh well…'' Sighing a bit with a small smirk, Daiki expresses as he walks towards an abandoned briefcase and reaches for a book; the album of his family. The only thing he took back before his world was destroyed. He opens it, looking at the photos of the past but most importantly pulling out 10 blank Rider cards. He kept these a secret in case he ever had to get more of Diend's powers. Now might be the only chance.
''Came to get these anyway.'' Daiki tells the cat mon, taking them as well as the album. He prepares to walk to the door but stops, turning back towards the Purrloin. He can tell she's been scrapping out food to survive, alone.
''You're living here all alone?'' He asks her as Purrloin responds, purring while shrugging her right shoulder and waves her arm around. ''Nyan-Nyan.''
Daiki smirks a bit, amazed she thinks better than anyone while barely surviving.
''Good point, I shouldn't care.'' He responds, respecting her. He starts to walk away while Purrloin watches him, silently until her stomach growls.
''…'' Silently, Daiki stops on his tracks. Purloin has a bright red face, terrifying that just happened. So humiliating.
Sighing with a small smirk, Daiki then tells her, not turning to face her. ''If you want, you can come with me.''
Purrloin doesn't answer but does blush. Kaito now turns around and answers her. ''I can get you real food than tin cans and half eaten apples you barely can open up.''
He then is reminded of Tsukasa and Absol- or Layla, whatever her name is, and how those two continue to stand in his way over and over. Would be nice to have some backup.
He suggests it to her. ''Besides, I'll need a partner to deal with a certain rival of mines and his pet mutt.''
''Nyan?'' Purrloin purrs, very curious what she wants from her and if she'll get something in return. Smirking, Daiki tells her, pointing his thumb to his face. ''I'm a Treasure Hunter; of course we can share what we take.''
Purrloin purrs more, really interested. Honestly, living here alone is becoming boring and she is worried about getting caught. She's had close calls so it's best she leaves this rotten world.
She walks up to Kaito and purrs, raising her right paw forward. ''Nyan!''
Smirking at her demand for a handshake, Daiki crouches down and shakes her paw, accepting. ''Deal.''
Purrloin grins softly.
''Let's go then…'' Daiki declares until he pauses, thinking she should need a name. He hums in deep thought and then a name comes up and begins to suggest to her. ''Hmm… Selina. How about that name for you?''
Purrloin blinks heavily and hums, crossing her arms at first before she then answers him with a smirk, liking the name. ''… Nyan!''
Daiki smiles as he pets the purple feline and declares. ''Let's go then, Selina.''
Purrloin nods as the two walk together out of the house, forming their team.
''Nyan-Nyan?'' Purrloin then asks him if she still has her ball after he caught her by force. Daiki reaches into his jacket and pulls out a ball, telling her as he puts the ball away. ''I still have your ball. Of course, I can use your moves.''
Purrloin purrs, smirking as this could be fun.
The two left the world undetected… however a foot steps out from the shadows in the house.
''So that's where you kept those cards. Clever…'' A male voice says as he adjusts his uniform, revealing to be a man with sleek but formal black hair, resembling Daiki but slightly older. ''Little brother.''
The slightly older man soon walks away, going to need to inform the Great Leader of this.
''Here we are!'' Dragonic proclaims eagerly as the Hikari Studio appears in a new world as the dragon flies outside first. He stares up at the large windmill fan of the A.R. Fuuto, the Windy City. Natsumi rushes right behind him with Layla, looking around in the new world.
''This is the World of Double?'' Natsumi questions, looking around how seemingly peaceful this world feels. Well seemingly, she does feel something off and it does question herself why she thinks like such.
''Double. W. Same thing.'' Dragonic tells her, shrugging his shoulders on how confusing that is. Natsumi nods as she thinks of something and asks him. ''Um Dragonic-kun, could Dai-Shocker be here in this world?''
Sniffing deeply, the purple dragon simply says as he leans his fedora hat downward. ''It is really likely, Natsumi-chan. We'll have to be careful.''
Natsumi nods in agreement though she does ask. ''So how are we supposed to find who the A.R. Double?''
Walking up beside her, Sougo answers her calmly as he looks upon the world around him. ''Right now, the A.R. Double hasn't been born yet so we'll have to find the two Riders that make up Double.''
''I get the gist; I'll find them and persuade them to become Double.'' Natsumi turns to hear Tsukasa's voice answers. She stares at him and can't help but giggle joyfully, proclaiming happily. ''Santa!''
Grunting like a real scourge, Tsukasa stands as he's wearing a Santa Clause outfit minus the fake white beard and carrying a large white sack. Layla snickers while Tsukasa narrows his eyes towards the mon.
''You know this isn't Christmas, Tsukasa-kun?'' Natsumi asks him in a tease, giggling. Dragonic snickers too as he reminds her. ''Nope, this is just Tsukasa's role in this world.''
''Lucky me…'' Tsukasa just mutters, irritated. He proceeds to walk away but Sougo calls out to him. ''Tsukasa-san.''
Tsukasa stops and turns to face him as he suggests to his fellow rider. ''Let's go together.''
''… Sorry to disappoint you but I'm not interested.'' Sougo is startled by Tsukasa's protest, not interested to work with him. ''I can handle things alone.''
He then eyes Layla and orders the mon. ''Layla, you coming?''
Layla blinks but smiles, barking. ''Absol!''
The two walk and leave to find the rider of this world. Sougo watches as Natsumi tells him, smiling. ''Don't feel bad, Sougo-kun. Tsukasa was like that with Yusuke and Layla too.''
''This isn't the time for distrust.'' Sougo, however, protests on Decade's attitude as he says firmly. ''If Tsukasa and I don't work together, then Dark Decade will win.''
Natsumi frowns, agreeing that they need to work together and stop Dark Decade but she advises him. ''Give him some time. He'll-''
Sougo then begins to walk away, informing her. ''I will find the other rider. You can along if you want.''
She watches him, sweat dropping. Boys can be really impatient. She sighs, going to follow him until a purr catches her ear. ''Nyan.''
Natsumi blinks as she and Dragonic turn to see a Purrloin leaping in front of them, purring once more.
''What a cute cat!'' Natsumi utters out blushing red, finding it so adorable. Dragonic hums, surprised a mon is in this world. Maybe?!
''Jiggly!'' Descending rapidly, Jigglypuff lands in Natsumi's arms and hugs her affection. She giggles, cuddling the pink balloon as she expresses. ''You're so affections, Jiggly!''
Jigglypuff giggles as she turns her head and sticks out her tongue towards Purrloin who sweat drops.
''Let's follow him, Natsumi-chan.'' Dragonic advises, flying to catch up to Sougo. Natsumi nods as she chases him after she waves her hand at the purple cat. Purrloin watches them leave before smirking.
''Nyan…'' She purrs rather mischievously before chasing after them and Kaito close by, following his partner.
Thinking of the best course to get information on this world, Tsukasa learned his role as a Santa is more like an informant while using the Santa disguise to get whatever details he will need. Though, it does come with a small annoyance.
''SANTA!'' Multiple kids run up towards Tsukasa and even Layla, petting her to the Absol's embarrassment.
''Absol.'' Absol mutters, telling him how he has to attend to the kids who pull on Tsukasa's pants for gifts. Grunting at begging child minds, Tsukasa just mutters annoyed. ''Yea-yea.''
He opens his bag and gives each kid a small gift which makes them really happy.
Back to his hunt, he discovers that there is a Kamen Rider patrolling the city.
''Skull? Another rider…'' Tsukasa mutters, trying to learn more of this individual and the people he's learned about mention that Skull is the hero of the city. ''So this Kamen Rider Skull is the hero of this Fuuto.''
Now Tsukasa wonders if Skull might know who Double might be. He looks up in the center as the large TV screen shows a news announcement of Organization X, a technology company, about to release their greatest product for all of humanity within 24 hours from now.
''Gaia Memories?'' Tsukasa mutters, staring at the USB-like devices as the company expresses the power the Memories have. ''So these are meant to help humans huh?''
Tsukasa soon glares, spotting a man among the announcement on the stage and remembers him. It's the human form of that Apollogeist.
''Dai-Shocker huh?'' Tsukasa mutters, realizing that Organization X might be working or are part of Dai-Shocker. He should investigate this further though-
''MOMMY!'' Tsukasa and Layla turn to see a 20 year old young man snatch the purse of a mother, knocking her onto the ground, as her daughter screams for help. Sighing, he runs after the thief who swift turns and great distance till he loses anyone from-
''Ho-ho-ho.'' The young thief panics by the chat as he looks up to Tsukasa over a small rooftop on top of him. The man tries to turn and run but immediately panics by Layla now behind him, growling menacingly. He drops on the ground just as Tsukasa lands behind him, proclaiming. ''Santa is disappointed in you.''
Groaning, the young man gets up angrily and yells at him, threatening him. ''Like I give a damn what you think of me!''
He comes at Tsukasa with a punch but then the thug staggers, getting a gut kick across the stomach by Tsukasa's right knee. He's pushed back as he tries to swing wild punches but Tsukasa moves around the punches as if they are coming at him in slow motion while still carrying the large white bag by one arm on his back. His speed and movement is lacking, disappointing Tsukasa who gets close and punches him once across his face, knocking him off his feet and falling on his back. He crashes onto the ground, grunting.
Looking down at him with a smug smirk, Tsukasa taunts him. ''Had enough?''
He growls as Tsukasa pulls him up.
''What's your name, thug?'' Tsukasa asks him as the hoodie wearing young man still growls, yelling at him. ''Not a thug! I'm just a guy trying to live his own damn life!''
Tsukasa just looks at him unimpressed as well as Layla. The young man just groans, feeling intimidated by him before answering him. ''… Shotaro.''
Scoffing, Tsukasa hands him a toy that resembles the mascot of the city, Fuuto.
''Next time don't waste your life on stealing from others.'' Tsukasa lectures him, and reminds him of himself. Not stealing from others but not accepting his flaws… or being full of himself.
Shotaro glares at him and calls him off. ''Why the hell should I listen to you?''
''It's not manly.'' Turning his back around, Tsukasa just tells him which stuns Shotaro greatly. With that, he and Layla walk away as the mon barks calmly to her trainer. ''Absol.''
Tsukasa just snickers at her comment that he's on point. Still, this is no point to praise himself as they have to figure out who Skull might be to get his assistance. If the announcement of the Gaia Memories being released by tomorrow is true, then time is against them.
''It's likely this Skull is fighting this Organization X. But why and how to find him?'' Tsukasa questions, thinking the best course is to wait till something bad happens and-
''Ask him.'' Tsukasa has a puzzled face as he and Layla turn around just as they leave the alley to see someone waiting in the corner. It is another young man but he's wearing a rather impressive business-like formal outfit with a fedora hat. Layla stares mesmerized at how hot he looks while Tsukasa just scoffs towards this ''sugar daddy'' pimp.''
''Look, I'm not interested in buying one of your ladies, pimp boy. I already have a girl right here and she's all into me.'' Tsukasa proclaims with Layla widening her eyes and immediately bites his leg, causing Tsukasa to scream in agony as he tries kicking the mon off him. ''THIS AGAIN! SOME LOYAL DOG MON!''
''ABSOL!'' Layla barks furiously towards Tsukasa's insult. Tsukasa finally manages to get the Absol off his leg as the two glare at each other tensely.
The fedora wearing man looks at them with a stun, sweat dropping expression before realizing what Tsukasa just called him and begins to utter in dismay. ''P-PIMP BOY?!''
Now mad, he yells at Tsukasa furiously. ''Oi, I'm a private detective to you, Fake Santa!''
Gazing away from his mon, Tsukasa eyes the so-called detective and questions him. ''… Okay, prove it.''
Scoffing, the man pulls out a large envelope and tosses it to Tsukasa who catches it. He opens it as he and Layla look through the paper to see photos of works of Organization working with Dai-Shocker and other illegal acts.
''This Organization X has kept their hands almost clean but only a real cop with access to mysterious cases would know the truth.'' He tells them as one of the photos shows someone taking photographs from a distance. ''Find a police officer by the name Sokichi. He is Skull and you'll get the first clue to this case.''
Suspicious of this guy and being tricked into something similar in the World of Faiz, Tsukasa can't help but trust his gut with this guy.
''… I'll check it out.'' He tells him. The fedora detective smirks, adjusting his hat downward before declaring calmly. ''See ya then.''
The two watch him leave while Layla blushes redder.
''Absol.'' She barks, finding him so hot. Tsukasa gives her a look, protesting. ''He is not nor is he a detective…''
Crossing his arms, Tsukasa groans as he does praise the stranger on one thing. ''I did like his fedora. Wonder if he and Dragonic have the same tailor.''
Layla blinks, just realizing that.
Tsukasa huffs as he walks off to the police station to meet this so-called Skull as Layla follows right behind him.
Doing their own investigation, Sougo with Natsumi and Dragonic, humming as he knew where they were going, arrived at an abandoned, burned down museum.
''The first Gaia Memory was discovered by a museum until all of the family was mysteriously killed.'' Sougo explains, getting the details from locals about the fire not long ago. Natsumi hums as she watches him approaching the museum.
''So where could it be-'' Natsumi begins to ask Sougo, trying to catch up to him till she bumps into someone. She staggers back but immediately apologizes. ''Oh sorry! I didn't-''
She soon blinks by the hand waving of the young man she pumped into. He's wearing a colorful outfit that consists of short cargo pants, an undershirt with long sleeves and a vest-like long coat, going over his knees as his green hair, with one black hair bang, is wavy one sided and shows that the other side has some kind of hairpins. He's also carrying a book, turning its blank pages.
''No need. Fun fact, Fuuto Museum has a backdoor in case you need to leave unnoticed.'' The young man reveals to Natsumi who blinks rapidly. He then advises her with a small smirk. ''Oh and do use the following keys: Family, Bond and Partner.''
''… Huh?'' Natsumi utters in confusion. He blinks at her expression and just smiles, apologizing to her. ''Sorry, force of habit. My partner and I are detectives.''
''OH! Um thank you?'' She thanks the stranger, blushing. He smiles back, replying. ''You're quite welcome.''
He bows and walks away. Natsumi watches him leave as Dragonic points out smiling. ''Nice guy.''
Natsumi smiles softly as the two chase after Sougo inside the museum with Jigglypuff floating behind them. They arrived at the burn museum; everything nearly destroyed or burned into ashes. Natsumi looks around horrified.
''Jiggly-Jigglypuff!'' Jiggly cries out excitedly when she spots a platform that resembles a stage to her. She floats over there, holding her microphone and begins to sign until Dragonic stops her.
''Not a good time to be singing.'' He advises the pink balloon mon. Jigglypuff gets mad, opening the tip of her microphone to reveal her black marker. The dragon looks at her intimidated through sweat drops at how determined she is.
Natsumi kneels down and picks up a photo frame, showing a happy family: A father, mother, 2 daughters, a son… and a cat. Really cute but sad since this must be the family that-
''Who are you?!'' Natsumi startles as she stands up straight and turns to see a young man behind her. He looks like a mess, burned markings across most parts of his body and his rather formal outfit also damaged.
''S-sorry, we were investigating about here and what happened.'' Natsumi apologizes to the stranger, bowing down politely. The man blinked, starting to realize was too aggressive. ''Oh…''
Sougo approaches, asking who he was. Natsumi looks back at the photo and gasps as this is the son of the family photo. The young man nods, explaining himself. ''Sorry, I was mourning. No one knows I'm alive and I fear for my life…''
He is the last of the well-respected family and even the founders of Fuuto. He frowns as it happens all too soon but it was all because of that monster. Natsumi can tell from his expression that he is in pain and she can understand his pain; she still misses her grandfather and her parents.
''I'm sorry about your family.'' She expresses sadness as she approaches him and tries to befriend him, introducing herself. ''I'm Natsumi!''
He looks at the girl and nods, responding upset. ''… Raito.''
Natsumi smiles as she tells him that Tsukasa will help him to find the one who did this to him. Raito protests, expressing angrily. ''I want to be the one to kill them. I'm livid… Organization X killed my father and sisters. I have no one. If not for my father, I would…''
He is drifting in thought, thinking of his father saving him before he was killed. There was no doubt it was Organization X as he explained that they wanted the Gaia Memories they founded and all information on possible more Memories. My father refused, wanting to keep the Gaia powers away from humanity to protect them but we were unprepared that they already had a Gaia Memory of their own. So that man killed them, his sisters, his mother, their pet cat and lastly his father as he got away with the 6 Gaia Memories.
''Only thing I have left is revenge.'' Raito openly admits, holding up a green Gaia Memory with the name Cyclone on it.
Natsumi, frowning, thinks it's best to call Tsukasa and help convince Raito otherwise.
Using what he got from the ''pimp'' detective, Tsukasa arrives at the Fuuto police station as he has to leave Layla outside due to ''No Dogs allowed''.
He approaches Sokichi calmly, at first and then goes crazy to reveal he is this Skull. This shocks the office, protesting the argument of the Santa cosplayer. ''I don't know how you know who I am but if you're-''
Figuring that he might be part of Organization X, Tsukasa reveals the Decadriver and tells him openly. ''I'm a rider too.''
Surprised to see the belt even though it looks different than his own, Sokichi actually believes him… especially after his last fight against Organization X.
Leaving the station in fear that a spy might be within the police, Sokichi tells Tsukasa everything with Layla now beside him again. Sokichi explains how he got his belt and the Skull Gaia Memory from a friend who he and his family were recently killed. Angry at their loss, he became Skull to fight Organization X and stop their plans but the situation became much harder than he hoped for with their new allies.
Tsukasa hums, certain Dai-Shocker is involved. He then oddly asked if he knew a thug named Shotaro, not sure why but a feeling about him.
''Shotaro? Yea, the kid was a delinquent before he became worst.'' Sokichi tells Tsukasa, having known the young man since he was a kid. His partner had watched over him until a few months ago.
''My partner tried to change him until he was killed by a Dopant.'' Sokichi expresses with a sadden face, still affected by his death and so is Shotaro. The day he heard of his death; he went back to stealing and just screwing up his life.
Tsukasa hums as the officer shows him photos of humans with a Gaia Memory becoming a monster. He can tell in this world; humans become monsters. Reminds him of Narutaki, who knew.
''So you've been fighting as Skull to stop Organization X from spreading the Memories.'' Tsukasa summarizes Sokichi's actions. He smirks, proclaiming. ''Now I get the gist of it.''
Tsukasa then asks him if there are other means to fight Organization X like referring to a different Gaia Memory or Rider. This gets Sokichi's attention, now talking about his friend who died and had a son, Raito.
''He's an oddball but a genius. He understood the Gaia Memories and created drivers like mines.'' Sokichi explains, praising the young man's talent. He then explains that Raito found a way to make a rider with the power of two Gaia Memories, more powerful than the single Memory. It is confirmed his family died but no evidence that Raito died. So it's likely he is alive and this might be their chance to find him, fearing Organization X is waiting for him to be vulnerable but with another rider; they have a shot.
Tsukasa nods as he tells him. ''Lead the way where he is.''
Sokichi nods as he takes the lead with Tsukasa following. Layla follows too though wary as if someone is watching them.
Leading the group to his underground basement, Natsumi and the group see the messy lab room with different broken Gaia Memories and broken pieces. Raito then shows them what he finished working on, two twin-drive rider belts.
''That's like a rider belt.'' Natsumi utters out the obvious with Raito nodding, gazing at it with such a firm gaze before declaring. ''It's a special one I created. With it, I can take my revenge.''
''Jiggly…'' Jigglypuff cries rather sad, able to tell he's sad on the inside. The purple dragon can feel his aura, also depressed with only hate and loneliness in him.
''Revenge won't restore what you lost.'' Dragonic begins warning the young man, frowning as he knows that deep hatred and has seen others succumb to those desires. ''It'll leave you empty with nothing, not even the future to cheer you up. I should know; I've tried.''
Natsumi turns facing him, frowning to see the dragon act sad. He must have gone through a lot, wishing she knew more of his past.
''Regardless, you can't use the belt without a second user.'' Sougo suddenly points out, alarming Raito who questions him suspiciously. ''H-how do you know?''
Sougo does not answer as Dragonic knows why he knows: He knows the history of every Rider, even those not born yet.
''Well yes, I need another rider but one who can maintain the power of the W Driver.'' Raito explains, looking at both rider belts. The powers of this new Rider would be unimaginable, nothing compare to the one he made for-
''Really huh?'' The group hears a voice as they turn and walk into view of Tsukasa with Layla barking.
''Tsukasa-kun!'' Natsumi utters smiling, somewhat surprised they found them so fast. Tsukasa nods, getting Natsumi's message as he proclaims. ''I brought the man who can be your partner.''
Sokicki walks up and smiles to see Raito alive. ''Raito…''
''Sokichi-san.'' Raito utters, relieved he's here. He wanted to see him though fearing the people after him will kill them both.
However, Raito frowns as he reveals to the group. ''Sorry, but Sokichi is incompatible with me.''
''You mean the Joker Gaia Memory.'' Sokicki asks him, recalling their first attempt at the transformation but it failed. Raito nods, pulling out a purple-black Gaia Memory as he expresses firmly. ''Unless one is 100% sync with the Joker Memory, it will not work with my Cyclone Memory.''
Raito becomes frustrated, needing to achieve his revenge. If he had more time, he could complete the Accel Project, pulling out a bright red Gaia Memory. Still, the project is almost done so he should rely on this power instead.
''I'll just fight without the W System.'' Raito proclaims, going to test the Accel Gaia Memory. Tsukasa sighs, rather disappointed with Raito's decision as he proclaims. ''Guess I'll keep looking for your partner alone.''
This surprised him as Tsukasa prepares to walk away but Sougo stops him.
''You can't do things alone.'' He advises him firmly. Tsukasa gazes coldly at him, telling him off. ''Nobody asked your opinion.''
''But-'' Sougo mutters, not sure what else to convince him. However, before he can say something, someone attacks Raito and takes the Accel Gaia Memory. This causes everyone to turn to see it is Shotaro.
''Shotaro, how did you-'' Sokichi, shocked he followed them, tries to question him but Tsukasa interrupts, threatening him annoyed. ''I told you to stop stealing from others, didn't I?''
Raito gets up, gazing at this person and is surprised how mad his eyes look… almost like his own.
''N-Nobody asked you!'' Shotaro utters nervously, looking at the Accel Gaia Memory and declares strongly. ''I can use this to do things! Then you don't have to call me-''
But before he can finish his line, something fast comes at him and slashes his hand. Everyone watches in shock as Shotaro backs away, grunting from his bleeding hand. The figure reveals to be Purrloin, smirking, as she has the Accel Gaia Memory in her pawn.
''Nyan-Nyan.'' She purrs in a taunting purr, flickering the Memory.
''It's the purple cat from before!'' Natsumi utters in shock with Layla growls enraged. ''Absol!'' She can even have caught a similar smell, narrowing her gaze to a figure walking forward.
''Good girl Selina, giving you tuna for this.'' Emerging out, Daiki promises her. Selina gives him a narrow glare, not giving him the Memory. Daiki groans, thinking and sighs. ''Fine-fine, something healthier like salmon.''
Smirking, Selina purrs as she tosses the Memory to him who he catches.
''That's-'' Sougo begins to say, aware who he is but Tsukasa beats it to him first with a glare. ''Kaito.''
Natsumi is surprised Kaito is here too and he has a partner too.
Daiki faces Tsukasa and smiles, replying in kind. ''Yo, Tsukasa-san. Sorry to interrupt but I'm taking this amazing treasure.'' He then pauses, hearing a noise and warns them. ''Oh and you guys have company.''
Suddenly explosions are heard from outside, blasting the walls through.
''W-what's happening?!'' Natsumi utters in terror.
Sokichi then realizes who it is, asking Shotaro. ''Were you being followed?''
''H-How should I have known?!'' Shotaro yells nervously, not aware he was even being followed. Tsukasa scoffs as he tells the group. ''I'll get the Accel Memory. The rest of you leave!''
Sougo nods, going to do his best to protect them.
''Careful, Tsukasa-kun!'' Natsumi asks Tsukasa, not wanting him to get hurt. Tsukasa just smirks as he and Layla run off in a hurry, chasing after the thieves.
Chasing after him on top of the museum rooftop, Tsukasa shouts out. ''Kaito!'' Layla quickly fires a Psycho Cut in front of Kaito's path, stopping him.
Forced to stop, Daiki turns with a smirk as he questions him. ''You just don't stop, do you?''
"I think we both know why so remember it." Tsukasa tells him firmly with Layla barking. Selina lets out purring snickers at the mutt's rage.
Smirking by his cockiness, Daiki pulls out his Diendriver, twirling it as he declares. ''Fine. I wanted a rematch anyway.'' He fires a shot at Tsukasa who obviously dodges, strapping on the Decadriver and charges forward. Daiki follows suit as the two clash by Tsukasa grabbing Kaito's arm and him grabbing Tsukasa's other arm. The two are in a lock while Layla and Selina clash Night Slash vs Night Slash.
"You know, I'm happy to see you here." Tsukasa begins to admit to his rival. "I met the other Tsukasa you mentioned long ago."
Daiki slowly frowns with an irritated gaze. "Did you now?" He asks him, squeezing his grip tighter. "And what about it?"
Tsukasa looks at him, able to notice by his reaction and his grip that he is not happy and immediately puts the pieces together. "I see why you hate him. What did he do to-"
"I'm not here talking about him." Daiki immediately interrupts, leaning right up at Tsukasa's face with a smirk or tries to, making more like a scowl. "We're here to get in the others way so I suggest you fight me, Tsukasa-san."
Tsukasa looks at him and realizes he won't get anything from him. Instead; he'll beat the answers out of him. They soon push the other back, pulling out their Rider Cards and dunks them into their drivers.
''Henshin!'' The two shout at the same time, charging and throwing a punch at the other. So they do, they transform as their fists clash. ''KAMEN RIDE!'' Both drivers announce as Tsukasa and Daiki transform into their rider forms. ''DECADE! / DIEND!''
Sparks of magenta and cyan energy fly out from their collided fists, blasting anything near them away before they kick the other, pushing the other's leg backwards. They charged again with Diend moving clearly faster but Decade anticipated and evaded his attacks with ease.
''Nyan-Nyan~.'' Selina purrs as she comes at Decade, about to use Thief to snatch his belt but she's stopped by Layla getting in the way and uses Sucker Punch, slapping the cat away.
''Absol!'' The dog mon barks determinedly to protect Tsukasa.
''Good Layla!'' Decade praises her as he gut-punches Diend with such force that he's pushed backwards, grinding his feet on the ground.
Diend staggers partly, touching his stomach before snickering. What he feels is Decade when he's at his strongest. It oddly causes him to get excited.
''Heh, so this is how strong Decade is now.'' The Cyan colored rider proclaims, praising the true strength of Decade. The Magenta colored rider scoffs at his words, telling him off while pointing his right index finger towards him. ''Kaito, I told you I will always get in your way!''
Decade pulls out his Ride Booker in sword form and comes at him. Diend fires multiple shots at him as Decade slides in a card in his belt as he parries through the shots.
''ATTACK RIDE! SLASH!'' The Decadriver announces as a magenta colored strip shines through the sword, slashing down more of Diend's shots. He gets close and Decade swings downward right at Diend who slides his own Rider Card in his driver, loading it in the last second.
''ATTACK RIDE! BARRIER!'' The Diendriver announces as a cyan colored energy barrier manifests and blocks Decade's slash, sparks flying out from the blade grinding on the barrier. Diend then loads another card as he takes aim. "ATTACK RIDE! DIEND BLAST!"
Quickly acting, Decade leaps backwards as Diend fires his much powerful energy shots. Decade repels and slashes them as he distances himself from him.
Diend actually laughs, expressing his joy. ''And that's what I love about you, Tsukasa-san. You give me a challenge!''
He pulls out 3 Rider Cards and slides them each into his Diendriver, announces as he loads them in. ''KAMEN RIDE!'' Diend takes aim and fires three shots that reshape and become his 3 summoned riders. ''KNIGHT! IBUKI! ZERONOS!''
''Have fun.'' Diend proclaims as the 3 riders charge forward with Ibuki firing sound energy blasts from his trumpet. Decade evades the blasts with zig-zag movement as he quickly blocks both Knight and Zeronos' sword strikes. He swings back, trying to overpowered them but Ikubi fires a sonic blast that blasts Decade back.
Swiping the side of his sword, Decade reverts the weapon back to the simple binder as he pulls out a Rider Card, sliding it into his belt.
''KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver begins to announce as Decade pushes one of its levers to activate it. His body begins to heat up and immediately transforms into. ''AMAZON~!''
Diend stares at this and actually laughs at this.
''Really, Tsukasa-san? You'll fight me like-'' He begins to question Decade's choice until Decade-Amazon's visor bug eyes glow and he charges like a wild beast, dashing right through the fake summoned Riders and tearing them apart before with single arm swipes and then does a small Rider Kick across Diend's chest, pushing him backwards with such force it sends him crashing onto the wall. Diend gasps in shock, quickly pulling himself out of the wall.
''Okay… You took the words out of my word.'' Diend utters, rather surprised Amazon is that strong. He gets up and loads a Rider Card into his blaster, taking aim.
''ATTACK RIDE! DIEND BLAST!'' The Diendriver announces, firing multiple energy shots. Decade-Amazon sees them a mile away, sliding in another Rider Card.
''ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver begins to announce as left forearm glows till a golden armlet. ''AMAZON GAGA ARMLET!'' Decade-Amazon crosses his arms and spreads them, releasing a violent wave that tears through all of Diend's attacks to his shock.
''KAMEN RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces by Decade dunking another card and twirls the levers, transforming him again into… ''V3!''
Diend scoffs, firing more shots that Decade-V3 easily evades before coming at Diend and delivering two swift punches and then a mighty roundhouse kick. Sparks fly out from Diend, pushing him backwards. He gasps, actually feeling that one.
Selina cries out getting Megahorn by Layla, slamming her on Diend's chest.
Decade-V3 swipes his hands together as he reverts to normal Decade. He pulls out a Rider Card, tapping on it twice before sliding it into his belt.
''FINAL ATTACK RIDE!'' The Decadriver announces as Decade prepares to flip its levers.
''It's over, Kaito-'' He begins to declare his victory until an explosion happens, close by. This shocks the rider, turning around as it has to be Natsumi and the others in trouble.
''Goddamn it.'' Decade mutters, worry for them as he can't just fight-
This moment of hesitation was all Diend needed, pulling out a Rider Card and sliding it in.
''Another time, Tsukasa-san.'' Diend proclaims, firing a beam from his blaster as it announces. ''ATTACK RIDE! INVISIBLE!'' He and Selina immediately turn invisible, vanishing before the two.
''Absol!'' Layla barks at Decade that the others will need them. Decade nods, agreeing with her. ''Right.'' The two run off where the explosion occurs.
To do things differently from the first Tales of the Decade, I will not do an Author's Note and will save those for the second part of each A.R. World.
Also the second part of the current A.R. World Chapter will only be a week apart. So I'll see you all next week for Part 2 of the A.R. World of W!
