Many Years Earlier

The Devil is sleeping in his large bed when the silence was broken by a high pitch whining. The demon groans for a second before throwing the covers off, taking off his sleep mask, and stepping closer to a crib next to his bed.

"Okay, okay, I got you, Bendall, I'm here," The Devil said as he picks up the demon baby and rocks him in his arms. He picks up a bottle and feeds the baby.

It's almost funny. If you would have told the king of hell four months ago that he would be a father, he would have laughed and blasted you into ashes. And yet here he was, bottle-feeding his baby demon boy in the middle of the night.

After the bottle is empty, the Devil pats baby Bendall's back until he burps. Then the demon king hums a lullaby and rocks the infant back to sleep.

"Good night, my little monster," The Devil whispers before crawling back into his bed.

The Present

Bendy wakes up in his bed in his bedroom.

"Today's the day Boris," Bendy said looking at his wolf doll. It had black fur and a large stitching over the chest. It was also wearing dirty yellow overalls. "Today I go back out into the world."

He puts on one shoe and then it's mate and jumps off the bed to get ready for the day. After putting on his gloves and bow tie, he runs to the throne room where his father often works. Sure enough, the Devil is sitting in his thrown and Bendy goes to the armrest.

"Hi Dad," Bendy said.

"Hello Bendall," The Devil greeted. "So, what do you plan on doing today?"

"Dad, can I go back outsi-?"

"No, you cannot," The Devil cuts in. "You snuck out that time and I don't you're off the hook yet."

"But dad, It's been sooooo long since I've been to the surface on my own and I already said I was sorry a bunch of times. No one will know I'm a demon while I'm up there. That's why I have the disguise." Bendy pleaded. "Please let me go out. Please..."

The Devil pinches the bridge of his brow. "Fine, you can go. But if anything happens-"

"I know I know; I'll run away and use the escape route back to the underworld. I promise," Bendy swore. "Now may I go,"

"You may," the Devil waves Bendy off and the little devil runs for it. "And son!"

Bendy skids to a stop. "Yes, dad?"

"Raise a little hell while you're up there," The Devil smiles.

"Don't worry, I will," Bendy said before stepping into the elevator.

As Bendy walks away he thought back to the cup boys who escaped from The Devil's carnival. The little devil had been thinking a lot about those two since then. He hadn't been this fascinated with any mortal like this in years. Bendy wants to see Cuphead and Mugman again... and maybe have some fun.

At the Kettle Cottage...

"Well, it's that time again, boys." Elder Kettle said while feeding the fish. "I'm off to my weekly mustache wax. Now, remember. Three rules while I'm gone. Number one, don't touch my radio. It is my most prized object. Number two, don't let strangers in the house. I don't want a repeat of the "handyman incident"... Cuphead. And of course, rule number three, no fighting!"

The kettle shuts the door, only to open it again and glare at the boys before he shuts the door again. Alone in the cottage, the boys stand and look at each other for one second before they spontaneously start fighting. The bump against the walls, the chairs. They almost hit the radio but dodge it before resuming their fight.

"Hold it!" Mugman suddenly shouts, "Say Cuphead, why are we fighting again?"

"Uh, 'cause we're not supposed to?" Cuphead answers.

"Right!" Mugman said before punching Cuphead.

The two boys tussle, and just then there was a knock at the door. The brothers stop fighting and open the door.

"Back so soon, dearest Kettle?" Both said trying to look innocent.

They were greeted with a chuckle and a "Whose Kettle?"

The cups then noticed who was standing on the doormat. A familiar wide-smiling black kitten.

"Bendy?" Both said.

"What are you doing here?" Cuphead said smiling.

"Well since the carnival is gone, I thought I'd go see you guys at your place," Bendy explained.

"But how did you even know we lived here?" Mugman wondered. "We didn't tell you about the cottage,"

"Sure, you did." Bendy lied. "How else could I have found you? Stalked you with a magic mirror until I tracked down your cottage?" the kitten laughed.

Cuphead laughs too but Mugman seemed nervous.

"So, can I come in or...?" Bendy asked.

"Yes/No," The brothers say at the same time. Both looked at each other. "Yes/No!"

"One sec," Cuphead said before shutting the door.

Bendy can't make out everything said behind the door, but he can tell that Mugman seemed against letting the kitten in while Cuphead argued that Bendy isn't a stranger. A few moments later, the door opens.

"Come on in," Cuphead said.

Bendy smiled and walked inside the cottage. "So what'cha fellas up to?" he asked.

"This," Cuphead said before punching Mugman in the face.

The cups suddenly break into another fight and Bendy backs away in surprise. Just then, there comes another knock at the door. The cups open the door together. They don't see anyone at first but when they look down, they see a baby basket with a note.

"Please take care of baby." The boys read.

Bendy joins them at the door and all three boys notice the living baby bottle in the basket. The baby giggles.

"Aw!" The cups cooed while Bendy just seemed confused.

"Where did that come from?" Bendy wondered.

"How could someone leave something so precious?" Mugman said as he picks up Baby Bottle and carries it inside.

"Uh, Mugman?" Cuphead said. "What are we supposed to do with a baby?"

Bendy shuts the door and follows Cuphead. "Can we scare it?" he asked.

Mugman gasps before placing the baby on the floor and sitting next to him. "No, we don't scare it. We show it love. Just watch and learn. Hello, baby. My name is Mugman. Can you say Mu..."

"Mama." Baby Bottle says.

Mugman squeals with joy. "That's right, baby! That's exactly right!" he said before booping the baby's nose.

"Well, then, I guess that makes me Dada, doesn't it?" Cuphead said.

"And I'll be the monster under the bed," Bendy said.

Cuphead takes the baby into his hands. Baby Bottle starts wailing and Cuphead, in a panic starts screaming, while the baby keeps wailing.

"Mugman, why's it crying?" Cuphead yells while running in circles.

"You need to burp him, Cuphead!" Mugman replies.

Cuphead pats the baby's back, but it keeps crying. "I don't think it's working."

"Maybe he needs his diaper changed?" Mugman suggested. The boys give apprehensive looks.

Bendy rolled his eyes and sighed. "I got it," he takes Baby Bottle from Cuphead. He pats the baby's back while rocking it. "I know, I know, that's not really your 'dada', that's just a silly screaming cup boy." He said softly.

The baby burps and giggles. Cuphead gives an annoyed expression on his face while Mugman snickers.

"Nicely done, Bendy," Mugman said.

"Thanks," Bendy said.

"Aw, feeling better now?" Cuphead said. He boops the baby's nose. The baby bites his finger. Cuphead screams with pain. "Did you see that?! That thing bit me!"

Mugman gasps. "Cuphead! Baby is not a "thing." Baby is a baby."

Bendy sits on the couch with Baby Bottle on his lap and Cuphead sits next to him.

"I think you two need to learn to get along while I prepare some baby food." Mugman pats baby's and Cuphead's heads before going into the kitchen. "And now, remember! All baby needs is love!"

"Is he always like this?" Bendy asked.

"Yeah," Cuphead said. "So where did you go after the carnival burned up?"

"Oh... I went back home for a while. My dad was kinda mad at me," Bendy answered.

"Why?"

"I went to the carnival without his permission,"

"Oh, that old excuse," Cuphead said.

Just then a stream of milk flew onto Cuphead's face. "Hey what gives Bendy?" he shouts.

"I didn't do that," Bendy argued.

Baby Bottle giggles before shooting more milk at Cuphead.

"Now, baby," Bendy said. "you know it's not polite to... Whoa!"

The baby shoots more milk at Cuphead until backs up into the shelf and nearly breaks the pottery, but the cup quickly caught them before they smashed.

Bendy watches Cuphead before noticing the baby had disappeared from his lap.

"Where'd it go?" Bendy wondered.

Baby bottle crawls into the closet and the door shuts behind him. Bendy and Cuphead chase after it but as soon as they open the door junk fall on them. The baby soon runs rampant as the cup and the kitten try and fail to catch it.

"Baby!" Cuphead exclaims.

Mugman hears the ruckus but simply smiles, "I just knew they'd get along." He said grabbing the butter.

"Bad baby! Bad... Baby?" Cuphead said but the baby vanishes again.

"Look," Bendy said pointing above the piano.

There, Baby Bottle was slowly pushing the fishbowl over the edge.

"Mama?" Baby says.

"Don't do it," Cuphead said.

"Just leave the fish alone," Bendy said.

The baby didn't seem to listen as it kept slowly pushing the fishbowl.

"Easy... Easy..." Cuphead said... but Baby bottle pushes the fishbowl off and the glass shatters.

"Oh, come on!" Cuphead and Mugman said at the same time.

Mugman walks and gasps, "Cuphead! Glass on the floor?! Baby could get hurt!"

"It's baby's fault for breaking the fishbowl!" Cuphead argued.

"It's true Mugman, the baby did it!" Bendy said.

"You two were supposed to be watching baby!" Mugman said.

"That baby is not a normal-... Wait. Where's baby?" Cuphead wondered.

The boys looked up and realized the baby was gone. They see the front door open and run out.

"Where'd it go?!" Cuphead said.

"How should I know?!" Mugman replied.

There came a razzberry sound and the boys turn around and see Baby Bottle in the house by the door.

"There you are." The brothers said.

Then the baby shuts the door and locks it.

The cups and kitten try to open the door with no success.

"Is there another way inside?" Bendy asked.

"There's a back door," Cuphead answered.

"Okay, I'm gonna go try it," Bendy said. He runs while the brothers keep trying the front door.

Once he gets to the back door, he doesn't try the knob, instead, he looks around to make sure no one's watching then his body melts into a puddle save for his gloves, tie, and tail sock. The black mass slips under the door and into the house where Bendy reforms his body. The demon puts his clothes back on and runs into the living room in time to see Baby Bottle messing with the radio.

"Elder Kettle's radio!" comes Cuphead and Mugman's voices. The door bursts open and the cups gasp when they see the baby messing with the old radio.

Mugman grabs the baby and looks at him disapprovingly. "No! Bad baby! Bad!" he scolds.

Baby Bottle's face turns red, and he frowns. "Mama." Baby scowls.

"Uh, I don't like that crazy glint in his eye," Cuphead said with worry.

"Yeah... I think you made it mad." Bendy added.

"Oh, hush you two, I'll put an end to this," Mugman said.

"But-" Bendy and Cuphead tried to object.

"Calm down. Wait right there." Mugman said as he walked to the bookshelf. He grabs a teddy bear. "I've had this bear since I was a tiny baby. It means the world to me. It was always there to cheer me up, and now it'll be there for you." He winds up the toy and it plays a soft tune. Mugman tears up when he sees Baby Bottle play with it... until the baby rips the head off the bear. Mugman gasps in horror before he's overcome with rage. "I'm gonna kill that thing!" he exclaimed.

Just as the mug is about to attack, Cuphead and Bendy hold him back.

"Mugman, no!" Cuphead shouts.

"It's just a baby!" Bendy shouts.

"It's not a baby! It's evil." Mugman said.

"That's what we've been trying to tell ya', Mugsy. It's-"

"Gone!" Bendy interrupts.

The boys look to see the baby had vanished again. The room suddenly grows darker, the air feels colder, and the baby's giggle fills the air. The boys can't track down the baby. Just then a shot of milk hits them. They bump into the bookshelf; they jump away before it falls to the floor.

Cuphead jumps up. "That's it! I'm calling for help." He grabs to phone. "Hello, Operator? Get me the police! Hello? Hello?" He pulls the phone closer and sees the lie cut. "He cut the line!" Cuphead whispers in horror.

The cups scream when they see the baby holding up Elder Kettle's radio and throwing it. Cuphead and Mugman catch it before it touches the ground and sighs in relief... but the moment is gone once baby bottle uses a sledgehammer to smash the radio to pieces. The brothers scream.

"Now what do we do?!" Mugman exclaimed.

"Dresser," Cuphead said.

"Huh?" Mugman wondered.

"Dresser!" Cuphead shouts.

A dresser flies right at the three boys but Bendy manages to duck out of the way and the brothers crash into the wall. The cups pop out of the drawer.

"Chair," Cuphead said.

"No. Dresser." Bendy said.

"No, chair!" Cuphead shouts.

Bendy sees too late the chair that hits him, and he crashes into the closet. The door slams shut.

"Bendy!" Cuphead shouts.

"Chair!" Mugman shouts.

"Huh?"

The cups see another chair flying at them, but they jump out of the way in time, and they hang onto the chandelier. They hear the baby giggle again and see it holding a pair of sheers, ready to cut the rope.

"Baby, no!" The brothers cry out.

"Mama!" Baby Bottle replies before cutting the rope.

Cuphead and Mugman scream as they fall. Thankfully the fall was brief. They kick the chandelier off and it flies towards the door... and Elder Kettle. Luckily, he ducks out of the way.

The kettle looks around, bewildered. "Door ripped off its hinges? Piano on fire? Fishbowl shattered? Fish missing? Antique china in pieces? Dresser smashed into wall? More fire?" then he shrugs. "Eh. Boys will be boys." But then he notices the shattered remnants of... "My radio! My most prized object!" He looks at Cuphead and Mugman with fury.

"Baby did it." Cuphead and Mugman both said pointing to Baby Bottle.

Baby Bottle sits on the floor sucking his thumb. "Mama."

Kettle's anger melts away and he looks at the baby with tenderness. "Aw!" Kettle picks the baby up and holds him. "This little cutie-patootie?" He cues at the baby before Baby Bottle rips his mustache off his face. "Ow! Bad baby!" Kettle scolds.

Baby Bottle's face turns red, and he frowns. "Mama." Baby scowls before jumping onto Kettle and starts beating him up.

Kettle cries out, "Boys! Help!"

Cuphead and Mugman rush in and drag Kettle into the kitchen and shut the door.

Meanwhile, Bendy wakes up in the closet and rubs his head. "What happened?" he wonders. He hears the baby's giggle and the memories come back to him. "Alright, that does it!"

Elder goes to the icebox, grabs an ice cube, and rubs the sore part of his face with it. The coldness helps soothe the pain. Just then, a tumbling sound can be heard from behind the door.

Cuphead whispers to Mugman, "Where's Bendy?"

Both their eyes widen when they realize.

"He's in there. With that monster," Mugman said, horrified.

Next came the sound of glass shattering and a yelp.

"I'm going out there," Cuphead whispered.

"No," Mugman whispered back. "Open that door and Baby Bottle-"

"I don't care about that. He's in there all by himself,"

"Whose by himself?" Kettle wondered after putting a band-aid on his face.

Cuphead and Mugman suddenly remember the no strangers in the house rule and try to come up with a lie... But then.

"Wait, why's it gone quiet?" Cuphead said noticing the noises stopped.

The family flinched when there came a knocking on the door. They quickly armed themselves with kitchen utensils and put on makeshift armor. Kettle and the cups burst out of the kitchen...only to find the baby asleep.

Both cups and kettle go "aw" when they see the sleeping baby. They take Baby Bottle to someone else's doorstep and leave it there.

The door opens and Baby Bottle says, "Mama,"

The woman coos. "So cute! Please take care of baby. Oh! Let's get you inside." She takes the basket inside with the baby.

Cuphead, Mugman, and Kettle watch from behind a bush before shaking hands happily.

Bendy chuckles as he walks deeper into the forest as the sun sets. "Ah, I came up here looking for fun and those cups did not disappoint." He then makes his voice higher in pitch. "All baby needs is love... HA!" he chortles. He sighs. "Yeah, I think I'll play with them just a little bit longer. And I won't let anyone take them away from me."

Bendy walks deeper into the woods, smiling widely and laughing the whole way home.
