Chapter 14

"We're finally here! This is the Sacred Land of Korin!"

"This is… I don't know what to say except… it's like paradise!"

From up in the air sitting on the Flying Nimbus, Suno peered down at her surroundings. The sky was clear, the clouds were light and a small breeze had been blowing for a quite a while. The sunlight shone brightly across the entire forest area. From afar, she could see a few tents scattered around in plain sight and residents going about their day, hunting for food, or caring for their loved ones. As the yellow cloud was gradually descending onto the ground, a large lake was seen through all the trees and bushes.

"I can't believe it. This is Korin's Sacred Land?" Suno questioned in awe as she looked all around the unfamiliar surroundings. "I've never seen anything like it before."

Goku jumped off the cloud, landing on the ground. Being a true gentleman he offered a hand to his girlfriend and she grasped it, putting one leg on the grass and hopping off their ride safely with no trouble at all. "It really is. Come on, let's go find Bora and Upa. They should be around here somewhere!"

"Sounds good."

They start trudging deep into the forest area with their hands clasped together, moving through the trees as quickly as possible. Suno spent most of that time admiring the scenery of her new surroundings, becoming so distracted with her thoughts and drowning out the sound of anything else. Neither party had said anything to the other and as such, their walk was mostly quiet and peaceful. At some point, Suno hummed her favorite tune as the bright sunlight shone on them, which Goku didn't mind. He enjoyed hearing his girlfriend's angelic voice during a nice afternoon like this.

"Where did you learn that tune?"

She snapped out of it and smiled as she replied, "My mother used to sing that lullaby to me when I was a baby. Every time she wanted to put me to sleep, this is what she would sing. Peaceful, isn't it?"

"It sounds lovely. Your voice sounds like that of an angel's."

"Aww thanks," Right after that was said, Goku removed his hand from hers and invited her to come closer to him. Suno accepted the invitation with no hesitation at all, laying her head on the crook of her boyfriend's neck, eyes closed briefly as she breathed in the fresh forest air. His arm hung over her shoulder as they moved deeper into the forest in search of his childhood friends. Silence fell upon them once more for a long while until the human woman had a barrage of questions.

"I still can't believe it Goku… so this Mercenary Tao guy almost killed you?"

"For sure, he came close to killing me." Goku explained. "And to tell the truth, climbing Korin's Tower was a pretty hard feat. The tower was so tall that it took me three full days to reach the top. For days and nights, I climbed. And even retrieving the sacred water wasn't easy, Korin made sure of that. After training with him, I returned to fight Mercenary Tao. And that was when I finally beat him."

"Did he survive?" She couldn't help but ask.

Goku placed a finger on his chin as he thought back to that day. "Hmmm… let me think… back then, I thought he died because of the blast of a grenade. But years later he came back as some kind of robot at the Martial Arts Tournament."

"Woah…"

"He wanted to get revenge because of what happened here but during the Tournament, Tien beat him in the first bout."

"That's incredible." Suno commented as she looked up at him. "I suppose you never heard from him again after that?"

"Well…" He tried hard to remember if he ever crossed paths with Mercenary Tao following the tournament. His face then shot up as he recalled something. "I saw him again during the resting days prior to the Cell Games. I was trying to get the Dragon Balls and he had some of them. But I recovered them all and I never saw him again."

Suno just blinked at that. "That's quite the story."

"Yeah, tell me about that."

"I'm sure Upa and Bora were incredibly grateful for what you did back then."

"They really were. And coming to think of it, I did see them again when I came to drink the Sacred Water to fight against King Piccolo. But I never came back here." He told her, looking up at the bright sky.

"I'm sure they're going to be happy to see you." Suno said as she rested against him. "So many years have flown by."

"That's right. Last time I was here, both Upa and me were just kids."

"Just like me and you…" She whispered; a tiny sparkle seen in her eyes.

Goku diverted his gaze from the sky and his face softened at her. "Yep…just like us…" He lifted her chin up and their lips met together for a brief kiss, feeling her hand gently touch his cheek. Neither of them had anything to say about that. They just smiled at each other in silence.

"I can see how peaceful it is on Korin's Sacred Land." Suno said, looking on ahead at the very few people going about their day.

"It is. It reminds me a little bit of Jingle Village. Except for the snow, of course. And it also reminds me of Mount Paozu since there's a lot of nature around. I'm not really a 'city guy' as you already know."

Suno just smiled at him. "Figured that out already."

They stopped walking after a certain point, confusing the red-haired woman. "Is something wrong?" She asked her boyfriend.

"Look!" Goku pointed to something out in the distance. "That's Korin's Tower!"

Suno peered on ahead at where he was pointing. "Wait… it is?"

"Yeah, that's it!"

Right in front of them was the tallest tower ever seen. It extended so high up in the sky that the top couldn't be seen anymore. Suno squinted so much, but she still couldn't see anything. Just that the entire tower was surrounded by clouds from so high up. "Holy crap… you weren't kidding when you said it's really tall. I can't see the top!"

"Told you."

"And I see a tent beside it!"

Next to the base of the tower, was a strange looking tent. Goku recognized it instantly and knew who it belonged to. "That's Bora and Upa's tent!" As soon as he said that the tent opened up and two of its occupants emerged from inside. One was short, wore tribal clothing and had long black hair that was braided, and a red and white feather sat on his head. The other occupant was much bigger in size, had long black hair tied into a ponytail and wore different tribal clothing to his son.

The shorter man took a step forward to greet the two unexpected guests. "Hello, how can we help you… hold on a sec…" He squinted closer and once he did, nothing could ever describe the utmost shock on his face after he recognized the Saiyan. "…Goku, is that you?"

"Upa! Yeah, it's me!" Goku cried out, a delighted childlike smile appearing on his face. "Wow… it's incredible to see you as an adult. It's hard to believe we were just children when we met and when I left here years ago!" The Saiyan then turned to the bigger man and he just looked awestruck by his presence. "And Bora… I can't believe that's you! You're the same as I remember!" He said while walking up to the older man.

"It's very great to see you again Goku after the good you did for me and our people," Bora said with a kind smile directed at him. "This wasn't what we were expecting. You're certainly not the same child we met all those years ago."

"Hehe… well, I did grow quite a bit haven't I?" Goku scratched the back of his head with a chuckle.

"It's amazing…" Upa exclaimed, running up to the Saiyan. "I was starting to wonder if we were ever going to see you again after you saved us! Welcome back!"

"Hehe, thanks."

"We were going to prepare you a big feast for you but you left so suddenly," Bora recalled.

"Oh yeah… I remember that one…" Goku's mind went back to the day he left Korin's Sacred Land. "I had to return to my friends so we were never able to truly celebrate what I had been able to achieve back then. Since I didn't have anything planned, I thought I might stop by and see how you two were doing. Now that I'm here, we have all the time in the world to catch up!"

The three of them stood close together in a circle and they put their arms around each other in a group hug. Suno couldn't help but shed a happy tear as she watched her boyfriend reunite with two of his childhood friends. She may have been reluctant to escort him before, but now it was all worth it. Seeing her partner this jubilant at seeing some friends of his… she felt moved by the sight and didn't want to interrupt what she felt was an important moment so she just stood there waiting patiently.

The trio released themselves from the hug, laughing as they did so. They exchanged a few words before Upa noticed the newcomer in their presence. "Who is she?" He pointed to Suno, who had been standing out in the distance giving them their space. Goku beckoned for his girlfriend to come closer and when she was standing right next to him, he prepared to give her a proper introduction.

"Oh, this is my-"

Before anything else could be said, some noises could be heard from deep in the forest, catching the attention of all four. A little boy resembling Upa in appearance emerged from the bushes wearing similar garments as him. He looked energetic and hyperactive as ever, reminding Goku of his younger son Goten who was the exact same way. It didn't take long for a young woman to come out, carrying a basket full of herbs and spices. She placed the basket on the grass and hurried over to the others with the child in tow.

"We're back! I think we have enough spices for dinner tonight," The woman said with a smile, then turned to her little boy. "Umi was excited as usual helping me pick them out." Her eyes wandered over to the newcomers and she became surprised by their presence. "Oh! I wasn't expecting any visitors today. Who are they?"

Then Umi's innocent eyes wandered over to the Saiyan. "Dad, who's that?" He asked out of curiosity. Surprised by this, Goku looks over at his friend for answers. "Dad?"

Upa scooped up the little boy in his arms. "This is my son Umi."

"Whoa… you have a family now!? That's incredible!"

"Yeah, it is." Upa said with a proud smile as he held his son. He gazed over at the woman standing beside him and placed a hand on her shoulder. "And this is my wife Maka."

"It's a pleasure to meet you Maka. This is my girlfriend Suno." Goku threw an arm around her waist.

"It's very nice to meet you,"

As a sign of respect, Suno decided to bow before them. "It's nice to meet you too."

"There's no need for that here," Bora spoke softly at her as she bowed. "Any friend of Goku is a friend of ours also."

"Thank you."

Goku marveled at the sight of Upa's son. "I can't believe you're a father now, Upa. He looks just like you when you were a kid."

"Incredible, isn't it?"

The village resident just cooed at Umi while he was in his father's arms, holding both his cheeks. "He's such a cutie."

Maka smiled at that, finding it adorable. "Well, thanks."

Upa and Bora just chuckled at the sight as Suno did her best to entertain the boy, making funny faces at him.

"Anyway, father and I were planning on catching fish for dinner when you two showed up," Upa explained as he pointed to the fishing rods near their tent. "How would you like to eat with us?"

In response to that, Goku's stomach rumbled loudly, causing him to look away while laughing to himself. "Y-Yeah, I think we'll join you for dinner!"

"On second thought, I'll stay behind and make sure our new guest is comfortable," Bora announced, glancing over at Suno with a friendly smile.

She stood back up after hearing that and tried to object. "You really don't have to do that. If you want to go with them-"

"No, I insist. We always try and make guests feel like they're at home."

"In that case Upa, why don't I come along with you to catch the fish?" Goku suggested. "We don't need the fishing rods. I used to hunt and fish with my two sons all the time. Trust me on this one."

Upa thought about it for a moment. "You know… that's not a bad idea at all. I could sure use the company." He then put his young son down on the grass and he ran over to his mother. "And we should also find some firewood while we're at it. I think it'll be nice to cook the fish over a bonfire."

"Sounds great. Okay guys, we'll see you in a bit!" Goku said while stretching his arms and legs.

"There's a lake not far from here where we usually catch fish from," Upa explained pointing toward the direction him and Suno actually came from.

"Suno and I saw it when we arrived here."

"Let's go then!"

"Take care, you two!" Maka called out to them.

"We will." Upa reassured his wife before bending down to his son's level. "Be good for your mother, okay?"

"I will, dad."

Upa opens up their tent and tosses the two fishing rods back inside as he decided to trust his friend's word about not needing it. Then him and Goku started off towards the direction of the lake, striking up a conversation about what sizes of fish they would catch for dinner and where Upa could possibly find firewood to start their bonfire from out here.

Silence fell among the remaining people, and Suno observed the calm environment for quite a bit. "So Bora… how has life been like since Goku left here?" Suno asked in an effort to strike up a conversation.

"It's been quite peaceful as you can see already," Bora explained with a smile. Then he proceeded to explain to Suno about how their lives changed after him and his son met Goku and talked about many histories of their tribe. She listened with a sound ear while her and Maka played with Umi. Then they talked about each other's hobbies and interests. Suno and Maka had the chance to know each other better. During this time, Bora did his best to make sure that Suno was happy and comfortable during her time here to which she appreciated. By the end of it, Suno was starting to like it here. Both Maka and Bora were really nice people while Umi was a bright and cheerful little boy.

Quite some time passed before Goku and Upa returned from their fishing trip. Upa was seen carrying logs they would all sit on during the bonfire and firewood used to start the bonfire itself while the Saiyan was carrying all the fishes they would eat for dinner. Some of the fish were large in size while others were small or medium sized. With the amount they were able to get, everyone was sure to be satisfied by the end of it.

"We're back!" Upa announced as he set the logs and firewood on the grass.

"Yep, I think there's more than enough for everyone," Goku chimed in while he put the fish right next to the wood. "We should get this set up!"

Bora and Suno hurried over to where everything had been put. Maka carried her basket of spices with one hand while using the other to take Umi's hand and they followed the rest towards the spot where the bonfire would take place. Each of them took part in setting up the bonfire and getting anything else ready for their dinner.

The sun was gradually beginning to set and all six people were seated round a huge bonfire which almost lit up the entire forest area. They were seated on logs while enjoying their dinner. Every fish had been seasoned with the spices Maka had found during her walk with Umi and cooked to perfection. Though Upa and Bora did make some contributions, it was ultimately the Saiyan who put in most of the work as he used his expertise and past experiences to cook all fishes as best as he could. Neither one could stop raving about the delicious fish. Drinking water was already provided for each person, and the Saiyan had even maintained his good eating habits while having a fun time chatting with his partner and childhood friends. Everyone laughed as memorable stories were told among the group.

"I still can't get over how tasty this fish is." Suno commented while biting into a small fish with both hands.

"Me neither," Maka said as she bit into another fish. "It's really good." Then she turned towards her small son who was happily eating his fish. "Are you enjoying yours sweetie?"

Umi nodded his head rapidly. "It tastes great, mommy! This is the best fish I've ever had. We should definitely eat fish for dinner again!"

Upa reached over for another fish and handed it to his son. "We certainly will. I haven't seen you eat this much in a while."

As Bora was finishing up his meal, he couldn't help but compliment the Saiyan who was eating most of the big fishes. "I'm impressed by how you've managed to catch all of this fish. And you're pretty good at cooking it also. This doesn't taste like anything we've had before."

Goku took a little time to swallow the fish in his mouth before speaking. "Hehe, well… it's as I said before, I used to hunt and catch fish with my two sons all the time. Oh, and I did learn a lot from my late grandpa."

"I don't think I would have been able to catch that many fish on my own," Upa remarked, noting that it was left with a couple small and medium-sized fishes before dinner was over. "So I thank you for escorting me."

"Not a problem."

As everyone was finishing up their dinner, piles and piles of fish bones formed on the grass. Now it was left with just the smaller fish.

Goku gazed up at the sky while enjoying the warmth of the bonfire. Despite the clear fact that the sun was starting to set, it wasn't time to leave just yet. There was still so much they needed to talk about. That… and the fact that someone needed to eat the rest of this fish. His big appetite still wasn't satisfied, but he needed to know first if anyone else was still hungry before taking any more.

"H-Hey uh guys, do any of you plan on taking more fish?" Goku asked nervously.

Upa shook his head. "No, I'm full."

"I've had quite enough." Bora said.

"I wouldn't be able to take any more." Maka spoke before turning over to her young son. "And Umi looks like he's had enough fish."

"Go ahead and have the rest sweetie," Suno encouraged with a smile, as she could see how her boyfriend hungrily stared at the remaining fish. Like a predator about to devour its prey.

"Are you sure hon? Don't you want any more?"

"I'm full like everyone else."

"You sure?" Goku asked, ready to pass over another fish to his girlfriend. "I don't want to eat everything if you're still hungry."

"I'm 100% sure," Suno reassured him.

"If you say so," Goku said before taking a fish and slowly digging into it, still maintaining his good eating habits much to the delight of his human girlfriend. It wasn't long before every single fish was eaten and the biggest pile of bones was formed. Eating all that made him thirsty so he drank a huge sip of water.

They all enjoyed the warmth of the bonfire and the occasional sound of the crickets as evening was rolling in.

"You know, I've already filled Suno in about how we met for the first time," Goku said to Bora and Upa.

"Did you?"

"That's great!"

As the sun was fading away, that was when the childhood memories started to come back. "As you may know already, Goku came here looking for the Dragon Balls. And we had the four star one, which was very important to him back then." Bora explained.

"That's right," Goku confirmed. "It was the one my grandpa left for me before he died."

"We didn't know about the Dragon Balls until we met Goku, and it was a huge surprise for us." Upa said.

Suno thought back to when she first met her boyfriend as a child. He had also mentioned the Dragon Balls and he had even shown her one of the wish-granting orbs up close. "Goku told me and my mother back then that once all seven dragonballs are gathered, a dragon named Shenron appears and he'll grant any wish you desire."

Upa nodded in confirmation. "It was the same thing he told us back then. Even I told the story to my wife and my son and they couldn't believe it. Goku promised himself that he'll revive my father Bora with the Dragon Balls. And after defeating that horrible man Mercenary Tao, even though he was the one who gathered all the Dragon Balls and summoned Shenron… I actually was the one who wished for my father back. When I saw the dragon back then, I was scared. But I got over my fear and wished him back. And here you have him," Upa glanced over at his father who sat right beside him. "My father owes his life to Goku."

"Exactly," Bora said with a smile. "Goku is the main reason why I'm able to be the keeper of this land and enjoy my family."

Hearing about the way these kind people were impacted by her boyfriend made Suno proud. "That's wonderful to hear. Aw hon, it seems like you've done some good for them."

Goku felt a little bit embarrassed at the small bit of praise he received from his partner. "Well… they helped me a lot back then, and I felt like I had to give them something back in return."

"You did a good thing. I'm proud of you."

"Hehe, thanks." Goku then looked over at Umi, seemingly curious about something. "And tell me Upa, is your son learning how to fight?"

"Not yet, but father and I will be teaching him soon. As of right now, he's been enjoying his mother's company," Upa said, looking over at his wife who was doing what she could to keep Umi entertained.

"Well, that's great. And here's a nice place to have a peaceful life."

"It sure is. We're quite satisfied with our life over here," Maka said as Umi crawled over to his father.

"I'm curious," Suno started to wonder, smiling just a tiny bit. "How did you two meet?"

Maka started to blush a little bit, while Upa laughed nervously as he wasn't quite sure how to respond. Eventually he responded, "Haha well… it's quite a long story actually. But we met as children sometime after we last saw Goku. We grew up together as friends, then we fell in love and decided to get married. My wife got pregnant with Umi shortly after we settled down here."

"That's really lovely," Suno complimented. "I think you two are really good together."

"Well Upa, you do have a great family and I'm sure that your son will grow up to become a cheerful little boy."

"Thank you Goku. And I can see that you're quite happy with your girlfriend."

Goku reached over for his girlfriend's hand as she was sitting right next to him by the bonfire. She grasped it and shifted much closer to him. "It brings me a lot of joy being with a wonderful person like her. We actually met around the same time I came here, you know?"

"You did?" Bora asked.

"Uh-huh. I met her when I was fighting the Red Ribbon Army and a plane I was riding in crashed near her village. She can tell you better, can't you hon?" Goku beamed at his girlfriend with doting eyes, giving her the signal to take over. He waited patiently for her to tell their story.

"Of course I can," Suno took a deep breath as she mentally prepared herself to tell the story of how she met the love of her life, hands buried in her lap. "On my way back home during a deadly snowstorm, I saw Goku lying on the ground unconscious. I dragged him all the way back to my house where my mother and I took care of him."

"That's right. If it wasn't for her, I would've died frozen back then."

Maka was moved by the story. "What you did was incredible…"

"It really is. And what's really amazing is the fact that Suno and I hadn't met again until a few days ago." Goku said, holding her in his arms. "Isn't that right hon?"

"That's true. I was so happy to see Goku again."

"The day we met again, I was sitting alone in a park in West City after leaving my home since my wife and kids left me." Goku explained. "I didn't know what to do so I ran away from that place because it was just so painful living on my own. I sat on a bench in that park and suddenly… she appeared right in front of me. I had no idea that it was her at first sight."

"Neither did I know right away that it was Goku at first sight." Suno said softly.

"Because we hadn't seen each other since we were kids." Goku added on. "Like I said Upa, it was around the same time I met you and your father."

Upa smiled. "I'm glad you guys are happy together."

"I think the same, my friend. She really saved me. I felt miserable because my sons were not with me anymore. But she came and rescued me." He looked down at his girlfriend with a loving smile, performing the action of running his fingers through her hair. "She's my hero. Nothing will ever change that."

A few tears fell down Suno's cheeks from hearing that and she hid her face in the scarf she wore. Goku just held her close to him by the bonfire, removing the scarf and wiping her tears away with just one finger. He planted a kiss on her wet cheek as she found comfort in his protective arms.

Bora turned to Suno with a smile. "Thank you for helping Goku. It's clear that he deserves an amazing woman like you."

"He's right," Maka chimed in as she agreed with her father-in-law. "It's quite admirable that you rescued him from a snowstorm without even knowing who he was. I hope you two have the best life together."

"T-Thanks guys, it means a lot to me."

"You're welcome." Upa said before turning to his Saiyan friend, as he had more questions for him. "So Goku, you mentioned before that you also became a father."

Goku nodded. "I have two sons, Gohan and Goten."

"And they're grown-ups now?"

"Well… Gohan is a teenager and Goten is still a child."

Upa mused. "Hmmm… Goten must be the same age as my son Umi."

"How old is Umi?" Goku asked.

"He's seven years old." Upa replied.

"Oh, okay… that's nice- wait a minute…" He stopped as he realized something. "That's how old Goten is!"

"Really?" Upa said in surprise.

"Yeah, he is."

"Maybe they could meet each other someday," Bora suggested.

That gave Suno an idea. "Hey Goku, why don't you bring Goten here after his custody hearing in court?" She proposed to her partner. "He can gain a new friend."

"That's a great idea! And I know that Umi would be happy to play with him. Don't you think, Upa?"

"Yes, of course. I think they'll get along very well." Upa said before turning to his son and asking, "Hey Umi, how would you like to have a new friend?"

At the mention of that, the young boy squirmed around a bit, trying to process that. It just felt confusing. He wasn't sure at first how to feel about a new playmate. Goku sensing his hesitation, crouched down to eye-level to face him properly with an assuring smile, "I know it may be a first for you, but I promise he isn't scary at all and won't do anything to hurt you. He's my own son and is your age. He's really nice, cheerful and loves adventure. What do you think? Would you like him to come over next time?"

That seemed to fully reassure Umi as he nodded his head rapidly, "I'll-I'll play with him!"

"I'll bring him here very soon, so don't worry." The Saiyan felt like this would also benefit Goten in a way. As far as he knew, his younger son didn't have any other friend in his life besides Trunks. With the same carefree nature and attitude as himself, Goku knew that his son wouldn't have any problem bonding with Umi. It wouldn't hurt for him to make a new friend.

Maka smiled, "Sounds great. We'll be expecting him!"

Knowing that Umi could be shy around new people sometimes, Upa hugged his son close to him as if to make the assurance that nothing would go wrong by having someone come over.

The group began to converse some more while still sitting by the bonfire. Goku and his friends talked about their second meeting during the King Piccolo fiasco years ago, leaving Suno amazed by some of the events that happened during that time. In turn, Suno also told Bora, Upa and Maka about how she did volunteer work to help elderly people in her village which left them all impressed and it only made them like her even more for her caring nature towards others.

Very soon, night was beginning to fall and the couple knew they had to leave before the folks at Jingle Village started to worry about them. Goku stretched his legs on the grass and stood up from his log, with Suno doing the same. They helped clean up the mess they made during their dinner and made their spot look a little bit cleaner than before.

"I think it's time we get a move on," Suno said to her boyfriend as she looked up at the starry sky. "It's pretty late as you can see."

"Yeah, you're right," Goku responded. "Thanks a lot Upa, Maka and Bora for this wonderful day. It was really nice to see you and just have fun."

"It's nice to see you again also," Bora said with a smile. "And it was also nice meeting you for the first time Suno." He held out his hand towards her for a handshake, which she accepted.

"It was nice meeting you too. And the two of you as well," Suno said as she let go of the handshake, referring to Upa and Maka.

"I'll be looking forward to seeing you next time," Maka beamed as she pulled the village resident into a friendly hug. Suno returned the embrace as she had this great feeling deep inside her that they would become close friends.

Goku was about to say something else when he felt something tugging at his leg. He looked down to find Umi next to him trying to grab his attention. "Thank you for the fish, mister. It was really good." He said in a soft voice.

The Saiyan felt his heart bursting with joy and he soon picked Umi up, carrying him in his arms for a few minutes. He stared at him with friendly eyes to let the boy know that he didn't have to be afraid of him. "Hey, it's not a problem at all. I enjoyed preparing it for everyone, and I'll be sure to make it again the next time we come here. My son is sure to be great company for you." He patted him on the head.

"I can't wait to play with him!"

Upa, Bora, Maka and Suno just smiled at the sight as they all could see how good Goku was with kids and how Umi was warming up to him very quickly. After exchanging a few more words with the boy he set him on the ground next to his parents, crouching down and saying to him, "Take care, alright? Until next time!"

Umi nodded his head. "Thanks again."

Goku stood back up and took his girlfriend's hand. "You take care, Bora. Same with you Maka and Upa. Goodbye!" He waved his free hand at the family as him and his significant other slowly moved away from the scene.

The family waved back at the couple. "Take care of yourselves, you two!" Even Umi stood on his toes and waved his small hand at them.

After saying their goodbyes, Goku and Suno walked away from them holding hands and towards the same direction they came from earlier. Other people were retiring for the night and staying inside their tents. When the couple were no longer in sight, the family took out their bonfire and went back inside their tent as they prepared to have a good night's sleep. Both parents made sure that Umi had a nice shower before bed and turned off their candlelights, as another day had come to a peaceful end.
