Chapter 490: Back to Isla Cretacia.

The island that is home to countless dinosaurs is thriving with life, the new life of some newly rescued prehistoric creatures. Among the dinosaurs that were rescued from the islands of Jurassic World, are some dinosaurs from another world and timeline that is lost forever.
The staff who are all tending to these large reptiles have setup a new outpost near the vast nesting grounds valley. They call this outpost, Outpost Nesting Grounds.
The leader of the herd, Aladar looks to the sky and he sees the Netherdrakes high above and flying around the vast valley they call home. Aladar sighs and looks around, then Neera stands next to him.
"Still hard to believe this is our home now?"
Aladar looks to her. "Yeah, kinda is. I mean, we're all confused as to where we are and why we lost our home. But we'll manage this new life, even with those things here as well." They look to the large concrete made outpost and the people coming out and riding alongside the dinosaurs on the backs of some dinosaurs that wanna help as well.
Neera then sees the blonde woman who's leading the team. "They are strange and they look similar to the family who raised you, but bigger and less hairy."
"They're called humans." They see Arlo walk towards them. "And this timeline, creatures like us don't exist anymore. Ou kind known as dinosaurs died off years ago from an extinction event that did not kill the planet. Therefore mammals evolved and took over the place and made it into their home, and they have been progressing making a living out of things and now they pretty much rule this world, well they try to coexist with others as well."
"And you know this, how?" asked Neera.
"I learned from some good teachings where I live and at first it was hard to believe, but I got over it and decided not to look to the past, but look forward to the future" replied Arlo. "I mean it is nice to recall the past and learn something, but we can't stay attached to who we were before for too long. We have to get used to things now than from before."
"Such wise words from one, as young as you." Baylene goes towards them. "I am also trying to get used to this and I am truly happy to be with my own kind once more."
Arlo smiles. "Glad you're happy Baylene and I came here to see if everyone is doing alright. Have there been any issues recently?"
"Yeah, some of the herd wants to know if there are any predators in the area" replied Aladar.
"There are" replied Shepherd, the Spinosaurus who surfaces from the water and he swallows all the fish he caught. "But they reside on the far side of the island and would not dare to come across this land, not while the river and vast mountains keep them cut off."
"There is a way for others to come here, but it is a long march through lush vegetation and vast valleys with harsh swamps and marshes. Only strong creatures such as I can be able to make the pass, or if they're brave and less stupid to take to the raging river. Which I can handle."
Aladar goes to the large creature. "Thank you for being here to help keep everyone safe, that means a lot. Even though we're not used to others that have lots of teeth. But we can't judge all predators by their looks."
Shepherd smirks. "No, no you cannot and I understand how you feel. I am not like any other dinosaur on this island amongst the ones here. Like the dinosaurs who arrived here many months ago, we were made in the hands of humans and we were made as a form to entertain the masses, but they misjudged what we are and they paid the price through their own blood being tainted and consumed by our own."
Arlo then speaks up. "I'm still kinda confused by the dinosaurs who live here, you're made by human hands. Are you supposed to be, dead?"
Shepherd looks to them, even the lemur family ride on Aladar to know more. "Yes, yes we are supposed to be dead. We're supposed to be extinct. The dinosaurs you see wandering the grounds welcoming the herd, are nothing more than replicas of our past, copies of who we were before, and I am a mistake made by the humans who made all of us."
"What do you mean mistake?" asked Plio.
"Yeah, you seem kinda normal to us" replied Zini.
Shepherd nods. "Though it is true that I do look as if I am what I am, but in truth I am no. My remains were from the fossils from a wrecked land known as Germany. The actual skeleton of myself was nearly destroyed in the hands of a war that the humans have. The only thing left was the fin, upper thigh and part of the tail. That was what was left of me."
Yar then figured it out. "You're incomplete. They made you, but not right and not complete."
The Spinosaurus looks to the elder lemur as they walk towards the valley together. "Very wise and truthful answer. I am incomplete, I am not supposed to look like this and when they made me, I had a hunger for meat and so I ate others. But then I found out who I am, my kind consumes fish and not eat other dinosaurs. We trek through the waters and consume fish and scare of predators because we are bigger than them."
"Even my descendants exist today, but they fly and are a bright color. They are called flamingoes and are truly related to my kind, the Spinosaurus. Even this color I have is wrong, which is why I eat fish on a daily basis, but I consume shrimp to make up for my true color and as you see, it is coming in quite nicely."
They can see some light velvet and oink colors slowly growing on his upper sides. "Wow. That is kinda impressive, but what about the other dinosaurs here?" asked Arlo.
"The rest seem alright and complete" replied Shepherd. "They are the ones who were successful when they were made, but those who seemed inconclusive were sent to another part of the island far from where the originals are and we were exiled."
"But through a near extinction process, we were rescued and brought to this world and this island and now we thrive and survive here, alongside the humans who wish to see us healthy and have a second chance to life once more. Even though we were sentenced to extinction millions of years ago, I guess all life can be given a second chance to living and we have ours and it is here in this world."
They look around and see some more plant-eating dinosaurs have come to greet them, and they even see some pesky Oviraptors have also arrived, those wretched egg eating dinosaurs.
"Well, sure seems like a good second life, like the one we were given" replied Aladar. "I feel like we were meant to be wiped out, but instead here we are. Alive and well."
"Yes, sometimes I question the future and what it holds and perhaps when the time is right. We may be able to take refuge onto the mainland far from this island, the vast mainland's that may contain some memories of where we once lived" replied Shepherd.
Eema then looks to Arlo. "You don't seem the same as the rest, are you child?"
Arlo chuckles. "No, my world is far different. We evade the extinction event and evolved into something improved and made a new kind of living and I have been through one long and epic journey." He then looks down sadly.
"But I just wish I didn't lose my only family. I lost my dad when a flood came and then I lost my mother and siblings when a storm came and the mountain came crashing down, but at least I have a new home and a new family. They may not look like me, but what they do truly reminds me of the family I once had and I know my long gone family would want me to keep living this life with them."
"Now that is nice of you to say little one, I for one am happy to be with my own kind once more and should I pass, then I shall pass away knowing that I am not alone. Not anymore" replied Baylene as she looks to the other Brachiosaurs roaming the lands.
They all look up and see the flying dinosaurs and two winged creatures flying fast and have two kids riding them. "This is still a very strange place" said Neera.
"Also, when do some of us get to see where they live?" asked Zini. "I mean, Arlo goes with them."
"Zini, behave and don't be rude" replied Plio.
"Actually that could be an issue, once you go to the home of the humans. There are tons of things you won't understand and it's gonna be so confusing for all of you to handle that you might end up panicking. I did" replied Arlo.
"Not me, I faced humans once and my instincts told me to kill them and I went face-to-face with their creations and what they can do, such as travel across the waters without swimming" replied Shepherd. "I have grown quite a bond with two human children, they're names are Sid and Adelaide, I think."
"How the heck do you guys understand them?" asked Suri. They walk towards the outpost and Becca goes towards them.
"It takes time, like a lot of time to figure out what they're saying and what each gesture they do means" replied Arlo. "I'm pretty much a fast learner."
"Same" replied Shepherd, he lets Becca pet his head and she checks on him.
"How's are big fish-eating dino doing today?" The Spinosaurus groans from her touch. "Well, looks like the pink color is working nicely, trying to look as pretty as your flying descendants?"
Shepherd nods and Becca smiles. "Well, I have to warn you that the shrimp won't be here in the northern area for too long. They'll soon be making their way out of the river and down south, then they'll try to make it to the sea and migrate out. We can try and supply you with some shrimp before winter hits big guy."
The Spinosaurus nods and then Sid runs towards him, the Spinosaurus goes onto the ground and lets her scratch his stomach. "And this is the child who I am accustomed too, she's nice."
Arlo chuckles and he sees Liam and Tabby go towards him and he offers them a ride on his back. "And this boy is like my brother, and this is also his girlfriend, or mate as we say it."
Sid comes over and she has some fresh fruit, which the lemurs go to her. "Okay, I can get used to these people" said Zini.
They all chuckle at this then Aladar goes to Shepherd. "You're not gonna be here with us for long are you?"
"No I am not, as the woman said. The shrimp will be going south of the land and I must follow where they go if I am to consume as much to become what I truly was before" replied Shepherd. He gets up and let's Adelaide ride on his head. "But as long as the people are here and renewed by ne members, then you'll be safe."
"But just know that there are predatory dinosaurs here and they must feed as well, they're located at the mid and south areas of the island, your home is here in the north and they won't arrive. But those egg-eaters are the first sign for meaty-eaters to come. You must understand that when it comes to the circle of life, we hatch, we live and then we die."
Aladar and the others understand, but they have to keep an eye on the elderly ones, such as Baylene and Eema. They then get alarmed when something runs fast right by them.
"Was that one of those predators we faced when we had to travel?" asked Plio.
"No, his name is Dominic" replied Arlo. "He's also made like the others, but differently. He didn't tell me how he was made, it's too painful and stressful for him to share. But he is grateful for having a second chance in life and being amongst the humans. Heck, sometimes he speaks with me and we get along nicely."
"Well, just as long as he's not a threat, then I guess he's okay with us" replied Aladar.
Meanwhile, Lincoln and Linka land down on their Netherdrakes and they look around the nesting grounds and some of the small dinosaurs go to them.
"Well, this is just cute" replied Linka. "They all seem so happy to be here in this land."
"Yeah, and they seem to be getting along with the Netherdrakes as well" replied Lincoln.
They see Nel'Thorious and Shall'Cross interacting with the little dinosaurs and they also let them play on their backs, but not touch the saddles or the bags.
Then Dominic arrives and all the little dinosaurs scatter. "Well, they don't seem to be fine with Dominic in the area and I can't blame them. He does look like an apex predator" replied Jordan as she gets off her Indoraptor.
"It'll take some time for the new comers to get used to everything" replied Linka. "There is so much for them they don't know and probably wanna know and when the time is right, then they can make their way to the mainland's and make a living there."
"Provided, that they don't cause any forms of trouble to the people living around the places" replied Lincoln. "Also, I wanna know what the word on Martin and FutureTech is."
Peter Sharp arrives on the back of Grimlock, which some of the dinosaurs back off a bit. "They're pushing through. I got word from Victor that North Korea has lost their docks and they're navy. The forces of FutureTech and Japan are now making their way through the waters and setting bases of operation onto the shores."
"Penny is also joining them, but she's not hurting people, more like blasting their weapons away and putting them into a hurt state. She's not violent unless it's serious. South Korean forces are making their push and the Russians, British, Chinese and The newly remade GLA are making their push through the north."
Lincoln knows what this means. "So, the war will end early. But the leader of NK and his sister are bound to come up with some plan, and we also have to be wary of their Nuclear Arsenals."
"That won't be an issue." Peter jumps off of Grimlock. "Martin said that their nuclear weapons are useless and cannot launch, but if they do try and launch them again with their hackers, they're gonna be in for one helluva a surprise."
"We just have to be ready for when they need our help" replied Linka. "They might need us to help reinforce the front lines and take out the new war front. We can't turn this into a world war."
"This doesn't seem like a World War when North Korea is alone against the rest of the world" replied Jordan. "This fight's gonna be fast and end fast."
Then Lincoln asks. "What about Hollow? What's going on with him?"
(Newly made Tiberium zone.)
Imperial Star Destroyers and a space outpost is positioned above what was left of the earth from the dinosaurs and they're deploying harvester droids from the Tiberium Wars to harvest the valuable Tiberium crystalized planet.
They have a sturdy defense around the solar system and are making sure nothing goes into the sector and claims what was made.
Hollow is onboard his Super Star Destroyer and he looks onto the results of the aftermath of the Tiberium Asteroid. General Grievous and Mandie go towards him.
"My lord, we have sent scouts and they have said that found a Scrin Mothership that was outside of the Solar System" replied General Grievous. "You're visions are true, the Scrin were the ones who sent this asteroid to terraformed the planet into a resource world and care little for the life on it."
"We've sent out multiple of our forces in one fleet and they have decimated the Scrin Mothership, what's left of it is being salvaged and anything alive is being taken prisoner as we speak" replied Mandie.
Hollow sighs hearing this. "Good, good. That is what I wanted to hear. With the Scrin coming we're gonna need Intel on what they're plans are and where they are based at and how they are traveling."
"But I speculate they are using a Scrin portal tower, or some form of interdimensional traveling system. Gyro knows about the Scrin and chances he'll be part of the fight and the same goes with the Royal Defenders when we tell them, for now we hold the line and fight the Scrin with everything we've got."
"They think they can take over again? They have another fucking thing coming! And as for the Tiberium, even though it is a volatile and dangerous crystal, we wouldn't want to waste the valuable resource now do we?"
Mandie chuckles. "No we cannot. We have to make sure it is all used up, the whole place is enough to fuel the empire for eons to come my lord."
"But what of FutureTech?" asked General Grievous. "Surely they would wish to have what we have, and we must share to our allies what they deserve after saving the life from their world before it went into extinction."
"We cannot risk having them have Tiberium, I do not want a repeat with what happened with Kane in his world and he already knows about this and he also wants to be part of the fight against the Scrin and so shall it be" replied Hollow.
"In the meantime, our top analysts must perform some research…. Well, careful research to see how we can be able to make the Tiberium less lethal to planets and make it as common as iron ore. When the time is right, then we share the Tiberium and we can fuel the Immortal Council to continue fighting whatever threats come out way."
They continue to look onto the Tiberium forged planet.
Then Hollow's phone rings and he check on it. "Oh it's Musa. Be right back." He leaves the room.
It was cool when he spoke and they stood tall, now it just got awkward.

A/N: The Dinosaurs are living peacefully and they'll be making sure the next generation are told about where they truly came from. Hollow has found a new threat and the Brotherhood of Nod wants in on this fight. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
