A complete overhaul of my unfinished work A Child of Durin. Brili, the younger sister of Fili and Kili, is separated from her family years before Thorin's plans to retake Erebor could come to fruition. What will happen once they are reunited and how will her presence alter the fate of the Company?

I've done this to Harry Potter, I've done this to Twilight, time to give Tolkien the same treatment.

A few months after the Battle of the Five Armies, Bard, Lord of Dale, is seriously injured in an ambush. His eldest daughter goes to the kingdom of Greenwood the Great to beg the help of its sovereign, Thranduil, known to possess the secrets of a magic as old as it is dangerous.

Bilbo starts to have feelings for Thorin during their journey to Erebor and realizes he is in love with Thorin. But Thorin doesn't notice because he thinks Bilbo is just a burden. Bilbo tries to work up the courage to tell Thorin how he feels, but when he overhears Thorin saying he would never date him Bilbo is heartbroken. Kili is in love with Bilbo but is too afraid to tell him.

Briallyn Baggins lost everything in the Battle of Five Armies. Now, mid-journey to Valinor, she is given the chance to do it all over again. But will she be able to save them, or is her quest doomed for failure before it's even begun? "REWRITE OF 'AROUND AND AROUND IT GOES'" (ADOPTED FROM RANDOMPLOTBUNNY)

Tauriel reflects herself after the Battle of the Five Armies. Canon Compliant and Kíli survives, but it's far from happy ending.

AU: A twist in fate allows the line of Durin to survive on the top of Ravenhill. The Sons of Durin and Tauriel, Daughter of Mirkwood will soon come to understand, there comes a time when you must balance the changes you made to fate. Even the smallest change can greatly impact the future.

If there is one thing Billa Baggins isn't, it is a hero. But Kili still lives and the orcs have no intention of killing him, instead they have a far more sinister plan for him. Lots of Hurt!Kili and Kili!whump with Protective/brotherly!Fili. Thorin thought he would be meeting a Hobbit to take on the quest! But it wasn’t a Hobbit that surprised the Dwarf King, but the daughter of his friends’ Amad and Adad. And she IS NOT happy to see him! It would seem the Dwarf King has met his match in the woman who sets his teeth on edge and desires to hold her at the same time! (Book One!)

UPDATED Halien was just a young elven maiden who wanted nothing more than to fight for what was right. But when Dale and Erebor fell, Halien's true journey began. Follow her as she travels the lands of Middle Earth and later joins the company of Thorin Oakenshield. Based on the Hobbit movies w/ actual dialogue. Some mature content will be present later on.
