Chapter 494: Testing the things to come.
(Spellman Estate.)
The front doors to the house open and coming out are Neil, Lincoln, Linka, Luna, Sunset, Leni and Timmy and they're Pokémon partners following and they're all walking straight for their rides and talking to themselves. Why?
Lincoln and Linka are both going through lessons and notes from math, science and history class and trying their best to recall what they know. They even get some calls from their friends who are all nervous and feeling kinda scared for this day.
Sunset, Leni and Luna are going through their books and notes, trying to see if they can ace the test on math, science and home economics and to the senior year subjects as well, they also have some cups of coffee with them. They too got some messages from their friends as well.
Timmy is doing the same as well and he has a flash drive to pass to Mrs. Johnson, which is the documentary he finished for the history class project. He hops onto his Poof formed scooter.
Neil walks to the Great Gate and has folders and papers of the upcoming tests and exams in Ever After High and he also has a letter for him to have a meeting with the Sally Whitemane.
Gwen and the others come out and see them getting ready. "Well, they all seem ready for the day" said Gwen. They watch as they all head to their rides and drive off. "And there they go, they really wanna try and pass the test today."
Michelle puts her phone away and then she asks Gwen. "What about Lily?"
"She doesn't go to school until later, so she has time to get herself ready, and I think she can manage the big test, which is just drawing and having fun as usual" replied Gwen. Lily giggles and is being carried by Gwen.
"Oh, okay then. Well, I'm gonna head off now. I'm gonna go and do the shopping since we have some stuff lacking in the fridge." Michelle goes to her car and with her is Courage who also wants to help out.
Gwen and Lily, along with Gothorita wave goodbye to her. Gwen then looks to Lily. "Well Lily flower, looks like we have the place all to ourselves once again." She boops her toddler daughter's nose and this makes Lily giggle.
But then they see a black Mercedes arrive and coming out is Loona, Sergei's wife. "Hey you two, got something to do later?"
"Yeah, Lily has to go to school later in three house so she can try and ace the small test they're gonna have at daycare" replied Gwen. "Why are you here?"
Loona then goes to the back of the car and she opens the door and grabs her pups Fenrir and Felicia. "They wanted to come and see what they're older cousin as up to. Also, Sergei and Leon aren't at the mansion and are doing who knows what with FutureTech." The hellhound pups bark with joy to see Lily.
Gwen thinks about this. "Well, I guess Lily can spare some time. What do you say Lily flower? Wanna spend some fun time with your hellhound cousins?"
Lily giggles and claps. "Cousins. Cousins, Pway!"
Gwen and Loona chuckle seeing how cute she's acting. "Guess that's a yes." Loona and her pups go into the house. "By the way, isn't the FutureTech base currently at the land formerly known as North Korea?"
"They are, and they said they'll be back soon" replied Loona. They go to the living room and let the pups and Lily play, and even Washington and Victoria's little ones join them. "So, anything planned for thanksgiving? To be honest this is gonna be my first thanksgiving with you guys."
"We have the whole thing planned and you're gonna like it. Sergei is the one who came up with it" replied Gwen.
Loona is confused. "He what?" She then sees what she means. "Oh, okay, I get it now."
Then Gwen asks. "Sergei said he helped you and I.M.P with this stupid and evil family, what the heck happened?"
Loona sees Lily is occupied in playing and she sees Gothorita is watching over them, she then looks to Gwen. "Let's talk someplace else, I don't want the infants to hear this." They go to the kitchen and Loona tells Gwen about what they did when they faced the, Murder Family.
(Royal Fortress, somewhere near the former North Korean sector.)
The whole naval military and air force platform is not too far from the docks and they have established battlefield control over the lands, which is no longer called North Korea. That's right, this is now one big Korea.
Martin and Victor watch as the people of this land rebuild their homes with the help of FutureTech and the formerly known land of South Korea. The war has left tons of damages and not much casualties, well the civilians were spared, can't say much about the troops of this land.
Jack Cyber and Penny come down in front of the two men. "So, what's the story around the country?" asked Victor.
They all walk around the edges of the base. "The Korean government has been reestablished and is united at last. North and South are now one big government and now we can change the maps and say that this is now one big Korea" replied Jack Cyber. "This has become a unified land as it was from the Command and Conquer world we know."
"The border that divided the two nations is now being torn down and all military installations there have been removed and they're trying to come up with some plans to make some homes for people to live there" replied Penny. "Also, the propaganda of North Korea is now being eradicated and those who have been loyal to the former ruler of North Korea are charged with war crimes."
"Those men and women who sided with the ruthless leader are now facing life sentences behind maximum lockdown in their own land" replied Jack Cyber. "They can just sit back and watch as North Korea is dismantled and a new united Korea is being built from the ashes of the dark history of this forsakened land."
Victor chuckles. "Sounds like something that Rick Grimes did in the Walking Dead with that bastard, Negan. What else is new guys?"
"Tons of folks are now helping the people who were abused, tormented and harmed during the times of North Korean rules, but chances the scars of what they went through remain and it'll be a long time for them to recover and try to rejoin society. But they're all happy the nightmare is over" replied Penny.
"And what of the military positions around the former North Korean lands?" asked Martin.
"Gone, all gone" replied Jack Cyber. "Those who have sided and fought for their ruthless leader are now on our side and are serving as ardent and honorable troops and guards for the united Korea. Some of these guys are actually those who wanted to betray their leader and side with the good guys. We even found a small group of troops who had this plan to take down their North Korean leader."
Penny smirks. "Talk about Operation Valkyrie."
Apollo Fighters now fly past them and head for the airbase in the Korean lands. "With North Korea gone and they're leader and his sister out of the picture. We can rebuild this once divided land and make it back into the unified Korea, from way before Japan even invaded it."
Jack Cyber looks towards Martin. "You do realize I was made by the Empire of the Rising Sun, right?"
"We know" replied Victor. They look to the navy being built and a new naval base being setup there. "We did it. We fought a war and we won it, and with the help from our allies around the world and we didn't even need the Royal Defenders. Just FutureTech and the word of th United Nations."
"Technically we're part of the Royal Defenders" replied Penny. "We did go into the fight and we led the troops to victory."
"True" replied Martin. "So, what of the forces we lost?"
That was not gonna be an easy thing to say. "We have 120 casualties, to the enemy with more than 45,000 casualties" replied Penny. "But, at least they fought against an enemy that could've tried to take over the world. They can rest easy now, as heroes from the battlefront."
"Like they say, heroes are not born. They're made in the battlefront and the battlefield" replied Victor.
"We should send our condolences to the families of those fallen troops, they fought hard and bravely to stop this enemy from bringing total destruction to the world" replied Martin. "We may have won, but at what cost?"
"War is not an easy thing to come by, and you all should know." Gyro arrives and he lands onto the platform with them. "Some of you have seen war and fought in it."
He means Martin, Victor and Jack Cyber. Martin fought for the allies as a commander for FutureTech. Victor served the Soviet Union and fought to bring Russia to glory, and also fight against their traitorous premier and Jack Cyber was an A.I who was deployed as a frontline A.I commander for the Empire of the Rising Sun, when they had to defend Japan from Allied and Soviet forces."
Martin sighs recalling those moments. "Yeah, I recall that shit. All the wars we went through to take down major threats, which was each other."
"So many fucked up campaigns" said Victor. "And wasted front line forces."
"To be honest I just fought to defend Japan, and then invade the Soviet Union with the Shogun's Executioner, and then I helped defend the Emperor's Tomb and then attacked Vladivostok with the Giga-Fortress" replied Jack Cyber.
"Yet you all know how war works and now, this is what the knowledge has brought" said Gyro as they look to the land they have cleansed of the dark North Korean order. "Fought hard and fast and made sure that the enemy does not commence harsh and dangerous ways. You guys saved the world at this point."
"True, but the victory goes to the brave men and women who fought and gave their lives to make sure the enemy was taken down. They fought and died, they deserve the medals, not us" replied Martin. "We just did what we could to lead and come up with the strategies to execute this campaign."
"The victory also goes to our allied countries who also aided us in this fight, they should be compensated for their actions in the battle" replied Victor.
Gyro nods. "And they shall, now I must speak to you guys about the issue with the world known as the Family of Two."
This confuses them, they know what the world is and what it's all about. "Gyro, what's going on?" asked Penny.
Gyro sighs. "I believe something bad is gonna happen to Lincoln and Luna, and we must…." He then looks to the docks of the land far from them. "Is that Leon and Sergei?" They all turn to see what he sees.
Leon and Sergei are helping unload some cargo needed for the shipyard, but then the crane loses control and it knocks the Tiger Tank into the water and Leon is still inside. "Oh shit!"
Sergei and the troops then get to their subs and the crane gets back under control and sends its claw and chain into the water, everyone is now panicking and Sergei yelling. "Tank overboard! Tank overboard!"
Everyone on the Royal Fortress sees this. "So, we should help them first, then Gyro can tell us what he wanted to tell us later" said Martin. They all nod and go off to help get that fucking Tiger Tank out of the water!
(Royal Woods High School.)
Luna and Sam go outside of the school and sit by the benches and go through their books. "Alrighty Sam, so we finished math and science. Time to dig into the history books and get ready for the next test and also get ourselves ready for the written test in home economics" said Luna.
"We got this Lunes, and I know we made the test and did it right" replied Sam as she has her book. "Sully and Mazzy will catch up with us soon, I hope they did their studying well."
Luna sighs as she has her book opened. "Me too Sam. I mean, I don't wanna see them feel all bad for having some bad grades, and they might get into some serious trouble when they're rents find out too."
"We can only hope they can ace it, and same with us" replied Sam. "Now, let's get to studying." They go back to reading their books and what they highlighter for studying.
Then a woman comes up to them. A woman with tan skin. Wearing yellow earrings, white shirt, and blue coat, black shorts with buttons, stockings and gray boots.
"Hello girls, are you Luna Spellman?" Luna and Sam turn round and see this woman and they know who she is.
"Dude, you're Katie Crest. One of the biggest managers in the music business" said Sam.
"Indeed I am, and it's an honor to meet Luna Spellman and also Sam Sharp" replied Katie Crest.
"Thanks, so what brings you into Royal Woods Ms. Crest?" asked Luna.
"Well, I have heard about the songs made and I would love to see the ones who made the songs that everyone has heard from social media, let it be from twitter or from YouTube" said Katie Crest. "So, when can I meet the family who performed those songs?"
Luna then thinks about this. "So sorry ma'am, but I need to know the reason why you wanna ask about them first."
Katie sighs, "Very well, I am planning on a summer musical tour next year and even though I have a band for the tour. We could use some more to tag along and make the whole tour possible and chances it could make you all more famous than you are now."
Luna can see that this sounds like some kind of scam. "Ma'am, let me talk to the others. We'll tell you when we've all come to a conclusion. But we don't want you to just go around and start talking to them, they have their choices and stuff to do and don't wanna be bothered, got it?"
Katie sighs in irritation from this. "Very well, I'll be waiting for the call from you and the family, and also the band you have." She then walks away from them and goes back to her car.
Luna and Sam go back to studying, then Sam asks. "We're not gonna get involved with her are we?"
"No, we're not. The whole music dream is not my thing anymore, that one goes to those who think they can nail a dream that they… A dream that they wanna make possible" said Luna. She then realizes something. "Hang on, let me call someone." She gets her phone and she dials the one person who would love her plan.
That person is her roadie, Chester "Chunk" Monk.
