Saber is looking at her surrounding

All around her is Assassins, their body is fading away en masse.

Seeing this Saber turned her head towards a certain warehouse in elation, her master had won.

Saber notices that while fading away each Assassins were showing a different reaction towards their fate.

"No! No! This can't be!" One assassin is screaming in anger while holding his head.

"This your fault! Yours!!" Another one is in denial while posting towards another Assassins.

"Please, one more, just one more chance..." A female Assassin were sobbing while asking for another chance.

"No, this can't be..." While a big Assassin were on his knees in despair.

However one Assassin were looking at her solemnly.

It was the long hand Assassin who managed to strike her in the neck, he actually survived against Saber until the last moment.

He was a specialist of survival and also an opportunist, this is why he managed to survive until now, by making a sound judgment for his every action. But of course it won't help his current situation.

"I guess this is it..." He started, his voice is deep and calm, Saber could imagine an old veteran speaking from his voice and stature.

"It's your victory, Saber..." He said to her, before gesturing his hand towards someone.

"Come child its time to go." He called out to the girl in Saber hand.

Just like the other Assassin she too is fading away. She is clutching at Saber arm before nodding her head, Saber get her cue and lowered her hand allowing the girl to stand on her own. Seeing the young girl fading away Saber felt some sort of pity towards her.

"I'm sorry..." Saber said in remorse. The girl shake her head before looking at Saber with a bright smile.

"No..." She started.

"Thank you, elder sister." She paused.

"For protecting me!" She ended with a large smile directed towards Saber.

Saber was stunned, before a soft smile appear on her face. Saber didn't say anything but from her smile shown that the girl message was received gracefully.

Only then Saber realized that the rest of the Assassin were now calmed down and is now looking at them silently.

It wasn't long before all of them were vanished in a fading light.

Seeing now that there is no hostile around her, Saber started to head towards the warehouse.

Her master is waiting after all.

"How disappointing." The leader said while gazing towards a warehouse, it was unknown who is the word directed to.

The leader is standing in a stiff manner, while his body fading away.

The Madam looked at her companion and sighed, out of all personality Assassins had she knew the leader best.

"Stop moping." The Madam said to the leader.

"We'll get her next time." The Madam said trying to console the leader. The man didn't say anything back.

'How troublesome' she thought with a sigh.

To be perfectly honest she understands his feeling, after all she felt it too, the humiliation of failure.

The Old Man of the Mountain is a group who specializes in assassination and subterfuge, while in training they were swore to kill their target or die trying. The fact that not only they as the nineteenth head of the Hasssassin failed to kill a target, they too were failed to die while at it is a humiliation to the name of Assassins with punishment worthy of death. The devastation the leader felt must have been unimaginable to bear.

Looking at the desolate figure of the man the assassins called leader, she felt pity for him. Unlike all of the assassins personality he were not able to master any skill, techniques, or weapons. The only thing he had was his leadership and tactical ability, which earned him the respect of the other Assassins.

In fact most Assassins were hoping for him to be the main personality if they did win the holy grail.

The fact that they've failed to kill Saber must have hurt more to him than anyone else.

'Well it didn't matter anymore.' The Madam thought.

They lose, that's the fact.

There is no need to make excuses anymore, just as she is about to console the leader, the man spoke.

"We'll be back..." The leader said, a promise to themselves.

Listening to the man mumbling on his own, the Madam only nod while replying.

"Yes..."

The Madam goes to stand beside the leader while they're fading away. Her melodious voice hang in the air as the Assassins vanished.

"Yes we will."

A burst of light mark the end of their role in this war.

Meanwhile on Fuyuku civic center.

Berserker was shocked when he saw the vanishing Assassin.

After all she just giving him the vessel of the Holy Grail and then her figure suddenly fading away?

"I see. So that's how it is, huh." Assassin said in resignation. She then take off her mask and looking straight at Berserker.

She had a purple eyes which compliment her hair, with oval shape face, and a dark skin she had an exotic beauty.

Looking at Berserker, Assassin started to walked briskly towards him. After getting close to him she then hug Berserker on his neck, he allowed it as a courtesy towards the dead.

Looking up at Berserker eyes, Assassin started to speak.

"Too bad isn't it?" She started vanishing, but instead of despair she is smiling seductively towards Berserker.

"I thought we make a good partner." Letting go of Berserker she backs away.

"Farewell, until next time Berserker." Assassin said as she fade away in a burst of light.

Seeing where Assassins standing before vanishing, Berserker feeling were unknown.

After a few moments Berserker contacted his master.

'What now, Master?' Berserker asked his master, but he only received a silent.

It was only several minutes later that Kariya replied.

'Bring...cough! cough!...bring the vessel to me, Berserker.' He ordered Berserker weakly.

'Understood.' Berserker replied.

He looked back towards the bag, zipped it up, and then Berserker walked away from the amphitheater with the bag on his possession.

His master awaits.

Kiritsugu is lying weakly on the ground beside Kirei's corpse with his eye closed, soft breathing can be heard from his resting form. While waiting for Saber he suddenly heard a loud crash sound from the warehouse closed doors.

BAM!

Hearing it, Kiritsugu opened his eyes slowly. Looking over the warehouse door he finally breath a sigh of relief, Saber finally came.

On the outside, Saber is on the other side of the door. When she tried to open the door it won't budge, so she tried to open it with force.

The warehouse door were opened with such force that the contraptions were broken on the spot. Seeing Saber enter with such display relieved Kiritsugu heart.

"What took you so long?" Kiritsugu asked Saber in a jest.

Seeing her aster capable of joking Saber anxiety of his appearance dissipated, with a smile she replied.

"Apology master, Assassin proved to be more of a threat then we think they were." She replied seriously, though Kiritsugu is more focused on another part of her apology.

'They?' Kiritsugu thought in confusion but decided to let it go for the sake of his sanity.

"Whatever, help me up." He urged Saber, Kiritsugu didn't like how helpless he felt. His injuries might have healed but his exhaustion cannot be negated, his body felt like a noodle as he trembling in exhaustion when he tried to stand on his own.

Nodding, Saber help him up by her shoulder and drag Kiritsugu towards their car.

The sight of their car bring some sense of safety to Saber for some reason, but for Kiritsugu it was another story.

Once his sight goes towards their car Kiritsugu notices something odd, struggling to get out of Saber grasp he fall to the ground before forcing himself running towards the car.

"Master!?" Saber shouted in surprise.

When Kiritsugu get close to the car he was shocked, the backseat door were opened and the place where he left Irisveil were empty.

"No..." Kiritsugu said in despair.

Seeing the empty backseat anguish filled Kiritsugu as he fall to knees before sitting on the ground leaning towards the car covering his head and clutching on his own hair in frustration.

"Master what's wrong?" Saber asked after she get close to Kiritsugu, she got her answer when she looked at the car empty backseat.

"Ah." Saber sound out, what else can she said over this? Looking at Kiritsugu it was clear that he was upset.

BAM!

Kiritsugu hit the car in frustration, which worried Saber.

"Master! Get a hold of yourself!" Saber said trying to calm Kiritsugu down.

Damnit!

Damnit!

Damnit!

How could he be so foolish!?

Isn't he already knew that Kirei was merely a pawn, isn't he already knew Kirei was working for someone, does that wasn't clear enough!?

The invitation, the provocation, the challenge, the question, all of it. It was merely a disguise, a trick to keep him busy so that another can take advantage of his absence. The only person who can thought of this is that man.

Tokiomi.

Only a magi can thought of such a plan and sacrifice their own apprentice for their own gain.

Kiritsugu strained mind suddenly make an unreasonable conclusion, clenching his teeth in frustration he then smile and laughed.

"Heh!" What joke, to think that he had make such a mistake. Unfortunately, he can't really blame anyone for this slight. After all, isn't it his own paranoia that brought them here? Isn't it his own fear and terror for a certain man that make him ignore everything else?

Fuck! He can't even blame Saber because it was his initiative to accept Kirei challenge.

Thankfully, before Kiritsugu can continue his self-loathing he felt as if the world was darkening as he fall down on his side, unconscious. The exhaustion of the battle, the frustration of losing Irisveil, and the stress of these days finally catch up to him.

Seeing her master suddenly fainted brought Saber to a panic.

"Master! Master! Are you allright!? Wake up!!?" Saber shouted in anxiety.

Unfortunately before she can even do anything to help Kiritsugu the sound of the authority stopped her.

WoooOOO!

The wailing sound of police cars once again put Saber into a hard situation.

'Damn it!' Saber thought.

Hearing the sound of siren closing to the port, Saber finally make a decision.

Lifting Kiritsugu to the guest seat, she put the safety belt on him before taking the driver seat.

The police were stunned when they were just about to arrived to the port with the fire fighter, suddenly they saw a Mercedes-Benz going opposite direction in front of them, noticing something is wrong with the Mercedes-Benz appearance half of the police force decided to apprehended the car and the passenger.

"Stop! You're under arrest!" One of the police ordered Saber through the megaphone, she ignored him. Feeling suspicious the police called for backed up.

"After them!" The police tell his colleague.

Seeing the police cars trailing behind her, Saber can only curse in silent. This is going to be a long night for her.

Berserker arrived towards a certain alley somewhere on Miyama Town.

As he walked through the alley way he finally arrived in front of someone. The man was sitting leaning on the wall unable to stand.

When the man opened his eyes, he looked towards Berserker with a complicated gaze.

This man is Kariya Matou, Berserker master. And as of right now he was close to death, his body weak, his skin pale, he could hardly breath, and he felt so fatigue he just wanted to sleep and never wake up. Unfortunately, he didnt have such luxury for himself.

"Berserker..." The man greeted before his gaze goes towards the bag Berserker carried. Seeing the bag his eyes shown some excitement.

"Let me see it, the vessel." Kariya said, gesturing towards the bag.

Nodding Berserker put the bag in front of Kariya and open the zip revealing what's inside.

Kariya excitement turned into amazement as he saw the supernatural beauty of Irisveil.

Kariya was speechless while looking at Irisveil, it last for a while until he snap down of it. Closing the zip on his own he then turned towards Berserker.

"Berserker..." Kariya called his Servant before going silent, a moment later he addressed Berserker again but this time determination filled his eyes.

"We're leaving." Kariya ordered, Berserker nod in obedience.

"Where to master?" Berserker helped Kariya to stand and hefted the bag to his shoulder before he asked a question to his master.

Kariya answer Berserker with loathing in his voice, clearly he didn't like where they were going.

"We're going back towards my family house." Kariya said with a helpless expression.

Berserker nod while grimacing.

This is not going to be a pleasant visit.
