The curse didn't just bring over everyone who had appeared in Granny's Diner. But everyone from Camelot and its surrounding land. Including King Arthur and his knights. Leroy and his fellow dwarf, happy, were the first people to see him in Storybrooke, and both decided to take them to see Regina, Mary Margaret and David, who were in the mayor's office with the Professor and Clara – where they all began to fill in the king from Camelot.
"A curse?" King Arthur asked. It took a while for him to get his head around the fact that he wasn't in Camelot anymore. And that he couldn't remember the last six weeks of his life. "One that brought me here and wiped six weeks from my memory? Who would do such a thing?"
"Listen, we weren't completely honest with you on the way to Camelot," David began.
"Our daughter, Emma, was," Mary Margaret began, "is the Dark One. She cast the curse."
"You lied to me?" King Arthur spat. "You let me lead the darkest of souls into the heart of my kingdom?"
"We thought Merlin would be able to destroy the Darkness inside her," David explained.
"Well, obviously, that didn't work out. So where's the Dark One now?"
"Emma," corrected Mary Margaret. She was still her daughter. "She's here in Storybrooke."
"Well, there's only one way to defeat her," King Arthur said. "The Dark One dagger."
"Defeat isn't exactly what we had in mind."
"She's our daughter," added David. "And … Well, she has the dagger."
Robin entered the office and looked at King Arthur. "I'm afraid you and your knights aren't the only ones Emma dragged here from Camelot. Little John said he ran into some of your subjects in a forest."
"Are they alright?" King Arthur asked.
"They're a little shaken up. But there may still be some of them out there."
The Professor stepped up. "What about my father?" he asked. "Did anyone see him?"
Robin shook his head. "I'm afraid not. Look, I'm going to round up the Merry Men and search the East Woods."
David reached behind and grabbed the coat lying on the desk behind him. "I'll take the dwarfs. We'll start in the west. Arthur, you're with me," he said as he led Robin, King Arthur, Leroy and Happy out of the mayor's office.
Clara rubbed the Professor's arm. "We'll find him."
The Professor smiled, and he placed a hand over Clara's. "I know. It's just … I can't even sense him here. If there's one person that can help us make sense of everything here, it's my father. And he's conveniently absent."
"Wait …" Regina said as she thought about what Emma had told her earlier. "These toy soldiers, I could kill them all with a wave of my hand."
"Regina!" exclaimed Mary Margaret.
"Well, I don't mean I will. My point is this can't be what Emma warned me about."
"She must have brought them here for a reason," Clara suggested. "She'd have a plan, wouldn't she? I mean, Rumplestiltskin did."
"And she said we were going to face a problem only a Saviour can handle," Regina added. "And we don't have the Doctor or a Saviour."
"Like she doesn't want to be stopped," the Professor said.
"Exactly. But what is she up to?" Regina asked when the Professor's phone rang.
The Time Lord took it out of his pocket, and he answered it. "Hello?" he said into the device.
"Oh, thank God," came a voice on the other side. It was Kate Stewart. "We tried calling the Doctor, but he's not answering his phone."
"That's strange," the Professor said. "He's not in Storybrooke. Six weeks ago, he went to Camelot with Regina, David and Mary Margaret. And a few others. They recently came back, but not him."
"Do they remember what happened?" Kate asked.
"No. They don't. Why do you need him?"
"It's the planes. All of them around the world have stopped mid-air."
"I'll be right there," the Professor said, and he hung up the call.
"Who was that?" Mary Margaret asked.
"Kate Stewart. She can't get in touch with my father."
"Why?" Regina asked. "What's happened?"
"All the planes have stopped in mid-flight. They're just hovering."
"Surely Emma couldn't have …" Mary Margaret began.
"Around the world?" the Professor interrupted, then shook his head. "No. Course not. But this might be our only chance to find Dad. Will you be alright here?"
"We'll be fine," Regina said. Though she still wasn't so sure that they would. "But we do need to find the Doctor. So, go. Find him."
