In the ocean, a large ship is seen heading toward the Sinnoh Region. On the boat was a man around 18 years old with long wavy hair down to his back and golden eyes stareing out at the ocean as he leaned against the railing.

His clothes included a black and white jacket over a red short sleeve shirt and matching black and white sweatpants. He wore red Reebox shoes, and his back was a large black backpack.

This young man was Jason Chevalier, the younger brother of Clair Chevalier, the gym leader of Blackthorn City, and this was his fifth Pokemon journey since completing in the Battle Frontier. He headed to the Sinnoh Region after losing so many matches against gyms challengers at his gym.

Next to his left leg was a small canine with gray with black fur. Its eyes were red with yellow sclerae, and it had a red nose. Its lower jaw has two pointed teeth sticking out. The fur at the base of its tail of rumpled and shaggy. The Pokemon was called Poocheyna, a Dark-type Pokemon, and was recently hatched from a Pokemon egg he got as a birthday gift a few months ago.

"Well, Luna, this is my fifth journey and your very first journey with me," Jason said, glancing down at Poocheyna.

Poocheyna barked happily as she nuzzled her head against his leg on her way of saying that she was excited to travel with him on her first journey.

However the moment was ruined when he heard his Pokegera rang and pulled a blue Pokegear out of his jacket pocket.

"Hello," He greeted as he answered the call.

"Hello Jason, it's Clair," The other person on the phone responded.

"Oh, hello, big sister," Jasson said once he realized who was calling him.

"So I heard that you ended up taking a journey to Sinnoh," She said."I'm glad you didn't decide to give up and shut down the gym, but you should Put the right one in charge?"

"Don't worry, Clair, out of the students with my gym also being part of a program where I teach rookies trainers and experienced trainers wanting to get stronger, Nathan is the best choice. He can handle the gym. Anyway, how do my Pokemon seem?"

"No need to worry. Everyone is happy and training hard to hard to be ready for I'm challenges when you return. As well am looking forward to seeing the new Pokemon you catch from the Sinnoh Region," She said, laughing."Well, I got to go better get going. Good luck in Sinnoh."

"All right. Talk to you later. Love you, big sister."

"Love you too."

The call then ended.

Jason put away his Pokegear and glanced down at Poochenya."Well, Sinnoh Region, here we come," He said, kneeling and petting Poocheyna's head."You ready, girl?"

"Pooch!" Poochenya said, eager to start her journey.

Jason and Luna were walking off the boat, looking around the sights.

That is when he noticed a familiar boy around 14 years old. He had short spikey hair stopping behind his ears. He was wearing a black jacket with a white collar and yellow stripe, a white short-sleeved undershirt, blue cargo jeans, black and red sneakers, and his hat had a Pokeball symbol in blue on it.

'Well, look at that, it's Ash has been a while since I last saw him at my sister's gym.' Jason thought to look at Ash talking on the phone.

He was pulled out of his thoughts as he saw a mechanical hand grab Pikachu from Ash's shoulder.

"Pikachu, who did that?" Ash asked loudly, turning around.

Jason also turned around to see three familiar faces of Team Rocket back from when they stole the flame back in Johto.

"I can't believe you here," Ash commented.

"Prepare for trouble and your greatest tewrpish fear."

"Direct from the Battle Frontier."

"As evil as old as the galaxy."

"Sent here to fulfill our destiny."

"Seems like a waste of energy for one tewrp."

"Luna Hidden Power!" Jason commanded.

Luna jumped up in the air and fired a group of small glowing white balls straight toward the balloon, causing it to explode and see Team Rocket and Pikachu flying.

Ash was surprised to see the familiar face of Jason coming to his assistants despite sending Pikachu blasting off as well. He noted the Poochenya was landing back on the ground next to Jason.

"Ash, you okay? Sorry about Pikachu?" Jason said, running towards Ash.

"It's okay, thanks for trying to save Pikachu, but I didn't know you had to be in Sinnoh haven't seen you since you were at Clair's gym having a conversation with her about not sure about something," Ash said.

"Yeah, our conversation was taking up time if your match," Jason said sheepishly."I will help you find Pikachu, and so will Luna, my Poocheyna," He said as Luna jumped onto his shoulder.

"I didn't know you had a Poochenya," Ash commented.

"Yeah, she hatched not that long ago from a Pokemon egg; my big sister gave me," Jason replied.

"Cool, she around seems quite strong for a newly hatched Pokemon," Ash said.

"I know. Come on, let's find Pikachu," Jason said, running ahead with Ash and Aipom following to find Pikachu.

Their journey in Sinnoh begins with an explosion with many other adventures ahead of them. So stay tuned.

Next time I might add Ash's Pokemon team, but for now, I just did Jason's team. It will switch up since he will catch more than six and may, at times, call his gym to have his old Pokemon join the team for a bit.
