Spells and Louds.
Chapter 517: The Minions and Grimm.
(Royal Fortress. Somewhere near the coast of Santa Monica.)
The ships there are being sent out to refuel the base they have set up, a base for the AVL to use and has a working Great Gate.
Onboard the Royal Fortress most of the Royal Defenders are busy discussing some things about what had happened and what they can do to help take down more of the evil banks around the planet,
Martin is with his Grimm Alpha Megoliath with Victor, Luna, Neil, Lincoln and Linka.
"So, we have tracked down more than eight locations of some evil banks and each one in a different location around Asia" said Martin as he looks to the report on the tablet. "This is not gonna be an easy thing."
"Then we should leave everything else to the AVL. I think we did our job and they can handle things now. We have given them tech and what they need and this will help them track down villains easier and with little trouble" said Linka.
"Dudettes got a point, so let's get the heck outta here" said Luna. "But I wanna know, how's Gru and his family?"
"As of now, taking the week off. Lucy is still injured and Gru is sore from the fight he had, so the boss of the AVL is gonna give them a break after the fight they all went through" said Victor. "But I do question, why do we call him Gru? I mean, that's his last name, and the last name of the girls and to Agent Wilde."
Neil recalls something. "His first name is Felonius, you think you can keep calling him that every time we see him?"
Victor thinks about this. "Okay, fair point. We call him Gru from now on."
Martin then goes through his tablet once more. "The one issue still at large would be his brother Dru, and that bastard took one of the GDI transports and I am not happy at what had happened with that."
"He can't possibly reverse engineer that kind of tech, plus its GDI tech, possibly that thing has self-destruct after he took it. We placed those onto any of our tech that gets stolen by someone unrecognized by the systems of our base" said Victor.
"He's not wrong, Dru must be feeling like a fool right now" said Lincoln. "I still question his hair though, I mean Gru and Dru are twins, but Dru is the one with the hair and Gru doesn't."
"From what we found out. Gru was raised by his mom, who lied to him and he never knew he had a twin, plus she didn't do much to raise his spirits when he wanted to do something accomplishing" said Linka. "So, Villainy is something he took up."
"As for Dru, the dad raised him and is a power housed super villain, but his son Dru is a total blunder when it comes to trying to take in the family tradition and that's why he needed Gru. Lessons on villainy and the family business" replied Victor.
"Sad, weird but kinda makes sense for a comedy stick" said Luna. "What else do we have on Gru?"
"He took down one of the most dangerous villains at a young age, that villain or villainess is known as Scarlett Overkill and he froze her and then took the Queens' Crown and took off. It's also the time he met those minions" replied Martin.
Neil whistles. "That is impressive, a young villain and a successful one too. What about te villain con?"
"That one is a tough one to track. We don't know where it is, but chances Gru does and he hasn't shared any info about it. But he said that, the convention does move when they're hideout is discovered and do what they can to evade the law and the AVL" said Victor.
"Speaking of which, about the minions. What do we know about them?" asked Linka.
They all walk across the platform with the large Grimm following them.
Martin looks through his tablet. "Dr. Nefario sent me some of his research and was hoping I could figure it out. The man said that he has been trying to see what origin point of the minions and where they come from, I did some studies and with the samples I narrowed it down to the point where the Minions were from the ancient times of dinosaurs and emerged from the waters."
"They are immortal and cannot age, which means they are beyond the age of 160 million years. They seem to seek to serve a higher cause and that cause is that of someone evil, a villain. Some ancient writings and reports as well as hieroglyphics depict they have been doing this shit for so long."
Victor then has his report. "They were in Egypt, cavemen era, dinosaurs, napoleon and through other times of ruthless warlords and dictators and all of them sought out a villain to follow and they have failed them all."
They all see the writings and old pictures and see the minions in each of them. "Wow. They were with the Mongols" said Neil.
"But I don't understand what the heck they are" said Lincoln.
"The minions are a form of humans, or very primitive humans with the language they call or what Dr. Nefario calls. "Minionese" he had a dictionary on their language and also understands and speaks they're words, but they do understand English quite well" replied Martin.
"Another thing noted, is that when the minions came to be, they were created with goggles and so they found each other as evolution made them and they kept growing in numbers and so here they are, but even though they are said to be indestructible and immortal, I think some have gone missing" said Victor. "Most from Dr. Nefario and his experiments."
"So, where the heck is he getting all of these minions from?" asked Linka.
"Cloning" replied Jack Cyber who lands down. "The man has a cloning machine, and it only works on Minions. So each of the minions, seem the same and are all okay with this shit. But there are some minions who might not have been cloned, yet and the four are recorded to be the ones who serve Gru and are loyal to his family."
Victor has the names on his tablet. "Named Stuart, Kevin, Mal and Otto. Those four have been with Gru, even after the rest of the minions followed Dru. They are a nice bunch, and also dumb too. But some aren't dumb and are a bit smart, I mean they know some stuff and have slight minds of children and find so much humor in whatever is funny. Like when Gru tries to speak their language."
"That sounds sad, now the word on Rowan. How is he?" asked Linka. "Anything on the serum in his veins?"
Martin has the report on that one. "Alright, so Rowan Bobweckle is currently being held in one of our secured outposts and they are running tests on him and are still trying to figure out how to extract the serum from his veins and make him back to normal. But progress has not been easy."
"The serum in his body may have merged with his DNA, the science division on this planet have only made things worse when they got him merged with a serum said to remove the other serum, but only modified him with skills in combat and countermeasures."
Lincoln is angered hearing that one. "Which explains why he fought us with barely any trouble."
"We're still working on fixing him, it could be a long while, but the best idea we have at the moment is the nano-healers. They might help" said Jack Cyber. "But, like I said it's a stretch of an idea and we don't know what will happen next."
They then go to the rest of the team. "So, all of us are ready to head on home" said Leon. "I gotta watch the hockey game."
Martin then begins to turn on the chronosphere for them to go back home. "Well, we're finished here. So we should….. Guardian?" They all spot the raven and it comes down, the raven now has purple veins and when morphed it has purple energy and turns into Gyro.
His attire seems different, he has black feathers on the shoulders to his cloak and some at the ends of his trench coat. His attire is dark brown with a few light brown highlights and the hood to his cloak has some raven facial features on it.
All of them are shocked and impressed. "Hey guys, what do you think? Too much?"
They all either clap or cheer and some chuckle. "Damn man, you look wicked, like Medivh" said Linka.
"The way you morphed is a whole new energy signature. What the hell happened to you?" asked Tadashi.
Gyro chuckles. "That is a story for next time, but right now we have another business to attend to and I need to know if some of you are in." He then looks to Martin. "Let's put the field test in motion, shall we?"
Martin is shocked, he knows what this means. "Let's do this!"
(Somewhere on Mantle, Remnant.)
The portal opens and coming out is a bundle of stun grenades and they blind the Grimm Sabers there on the rigged cliffs and then some Terran marines come out and they tear them apart with their gause rifles. Leading the charge is Linka, Sergei and Peter.
Gyro then comes through and he makes a spell to cloak their energy signatures from Salem's senses and Grimm. Then Martin sends an ion blast from his Tech Sector suit and then he grabs one of the Grimm Sabers and he throws it into the air.
The Grimm Alpha Megoliath comes through and impales the Grimm saber with its tusk.
Martin looks to the giant beast friend and it seems calm still. "Looks like the first phase of the plan and field test is working. The Grimm Alpha Megoliath is no longer under Salem's command. Which means we must advance to the second field test."
They then look around the place. Peter goes over a rock and he looks around the frozen wastelands far from Mantle. "No Grimm, we're clear!" They move out and look for a location.
They search for a group of Grimm and Linka uses her calibrate sniper rifle and sees something. "Eyes on targets, 12 o'clock and in large numbers."
The Grimm Alpha Megoliath hangs back, so he doesn't get seen and stays with Sergei. "Move out, secure the Xel'Naga artifact in place and see if it works."
Martin then takes off. "On it." He then lands in the middle of the pack of Grimm sabers and he grabs the artifact from his back and he places it down. He then uses his tablet to change its enhancements and processes the systems.
"Almost there, just need to reconfigure the schematics and the energy flux so the keystone can be able to lock onto that from the Grimm and Salem's control. Let's see, and almost there." Martin then contacts the others from afar. "Gyro, barrier now."
"On it!" Gyro sends a powerful blast at them, but it doesn't do any damage and just conceals the energy from Salem and other Grimm. "As close as it is to the Semblance of Lie Ren."
With the barrier set and the Keystone ready. "Okay. This is it, countdown! Five, Four, Three, Two and lights out, Salem!"
Martin pushes the button and the Xel'Naga keystone sends out a shockwave and bolts of energy strike at the Grimm but doesn't hurt them. They roar and try to contact other Grimm that could be close by, but they don't and they shake off the energy and look around.
Martin then turns of his force fields and he looks to the Grimm Sabers looking at each other and then to Martin. "I don't know if it worked." He then shuts down the keystone and puts it back into the Vibranium-Adamantium case.
One of the alpha Grimm Sabers goes towards him and sniffs the man, then Gyro drops the barrier and the Grimm alpha looks around for something, seeking if something is commanding them. They then look to Mantle and the fight that is still ongoing, they then turn the other direction and slowly walk away from it.
The alpha looks to Martin and nudges at him, almost like a thank you. Martin smiles and pets his head. "You're welcome you big beast."
The pack of Grimm Sabers then walk through the snowy wastelands to look for somewhere else to take refuge.
The others watch them leave and so does the Grimm Alpha Megoliath. "Holy shit. It worked, the plan worked. It actually worked" said Peter.
Martin looks to the Keystone. "Yes, yes it did. Finally, the field test is a confirmed. We can free the Grimm from her grasp and make sure they have their own minds and command, to avoid being part of a war they don't wanna be part of."
"Good." Gyro opens the portal back home. "We must go, now. Before Salem sends her flying mongrels to search the area for a missing Grimm group."
They all head through the portal, but Martin looks to Atlas and he sees a girl flying away from an aircraft with green fire emanating from her boots. "Penny."
Linka then goes to Martin and sees this. "Martin, we have to go. We can come back here when the time is right. Let them be on their own mission. We will come back, and when we do, then we can help our allies and our greatest friend."
Martin sighs. "Let's go home." They pass through the Great Gate, back to Royal Woods. They have to tell everyone, that the field test is a success, and now they only await the return to free Mantle, Atlas and Remnant.

A/N: They are done with the dimension from "Despicable Me" and the field test to free Grimm from Salem's grasp is a success. Now, time to go home and prepare for when the time comes to go back. Leave a review and tell me what you all think.
