Alright... these next three chapters are going to have a lot of things happen in them that I know you guys may or may not be happy with. We're reaching the climax of this world, so a lot of Major Character Deaths are going to happen. Throughout this final arc, a lot of named, important characters, are going to kick the bucket. Who, exactly? Well… that's for me to know, and for you to find out : )

I'll leave you all with this: Fate is something that cannot be avoided, for if fate decrees that something happens, it will happen.

So, without delaying any further, let's hop into my response to reviews/comments because I don't want this section to be too bloated. [Future me here, yeah, it's bloated]

[My Response to Reviews/Comments]

(Qoutev) TACO SENSEI: You'll get to see how Chinatsu reacts in this chapter. As for if Jolyne is going to majorly fuck up every world she goes to… that depends on your definition of fuck up. Just know this for the future: Any world that she goes to, the canon of that universe is going to be broken in some way, shape, or form because that's how crossovers SHOULD be. As for how badly? Well, again that depends on what your definition of "badly" is.

(Qoutev) JammyJam: Good. MUWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! FEAR ME, FOR YOUR FAVOURITE CHARACTERS FATES ARE IN MY HANDS! MUWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

(Ao3) ThatCatMan: Ah! I see. I mean, to be fair, it really is just a large slab of very refined, very sharp metal. Typically, they're called broadswords because… well, they are known to be very, well, broad. Also, Berserk, for as much as it's not my cup of tea, is good! You, my good person, have good taste (too bad I do not)

(Ao3) Blueishreader1: Neat username, first off. Second of all, unfortunately, I have not seen Teen Wolf. But, I have looked it up, and Werewolves are right up my alley. If I like it, then I'll add it to my list of potential worlds that Jolyne goes to. Though do be warned, the order of the appearance of the worlds is not up to me. I put that stuff up to vote (if you've read the author's notes at the beginning, you would know that). But, yeah. If I like what I see, then I'll add it to the list! Thank you for the suggestion!

Kolt999: Damn, dude, what the hell did your cat do to you to render your right hand unusable?! Jesus, you gotta be feeding that thing UBER steroids or something. I hope you get better soon (this is becoming a trend. I don't like it) and I hope your cat is all good, too. I'm not too well versed in the world of cats, as I'm more of a dog person. But, yeah, damn….

And damn again because you still left one of your colossal reviews anyway. Well, um… okay, let's go, I guess. Part of the reason why I wanted to go so hard on the scene with Monica was to show the difference between Canon!Monica and GOTM!Monica. The difference, in case it wasn't obvious, is that Canon!Monica would not have given a rat's ass, and or, if she did, it would be very subtle. With GOTM!Monica, the major difference between the two is that she actually has a soul, meaning that she can feel things like regret, and all that fun stuff. I will admit, I could've gone so much harder with it, but for the sake of myself (because I damn well near teared up writing that section) and for the sake of drawing out such a scene, I cut it where I did with Mr. Bland and Boring, aka Makoto.

On the topic of Junko having her own plans, yeah, most of them were kinda scrapped because of Jolyne's existence, but some things ordained by fate have to happen, and one of those things is Mitarai getting the shitty end of the stick. To be fair, I was originally going to make him an actual character, but then I looked at how many chapters the "tutorial" world had, and I went "Fuck, this is too bloated" and so I threw him into the "he existed in the background" pile of characters, much like Himiko, who was supposed to have a far bigger role then she had.

Alas, what can you do? This isn't a Danganronpa Gamer Fic, it's a multiverse gamer fic. But, I can assure you that if this WAS simply a Danganronpa Gamer Fic this would've been so much longer. Character arcs galor, my friend. It would've been a mess lol.

Now, I struggle to say that Izuru is the God of the Dangan universe. Don't get me wrong, he's extremely powerful in his own verse, but he is not that strong, and he is most certainly not god-tier, not even Demi-God. Don't get me wrong, he's got hax out the wazoo because of his many talents, and here, he has Black-Hole summoning stuff (kinda, you'll see what I mean later) along with a myriad of other things, but, at the end of the day, he's still an enemy of Jolyne, and he's still a mortal human, much like Jolyne.

However, that does not mean the fight will be easy. Far from it, actually. If you want to see true god-like power… well, no spoilers. Izuru is a powerful opponent, but let's not hype him up that much, yeah?

And you have a Fantastic day, too, Kolt. Hope your hand gets better!

(Guest) Reader 451: Well, that's to be expected. RWBY is quite frankly, a mess of inconsistencies, which is my major gripe with the series in general. The only thing good about it is the fights and some of the characters. As for the fandom, yeah, most fandoms are really hard to please, and RWBY is no different. It's just, the more toxic people are the most vocal. That being said, I run by the "if they have a pulse, they can die" clause. If I feel like a character needs to die for plot purposes, and not "just cause" then I'll kill'em, doesn't matter if they're a part of Team RWBY or Team JNPR.

That being said, I'm glad you enjoyed GOTM so far, and I hope you continue to enjoy it as we transition over to the RWBYverse. I have a lot of plans for it now that I've started rewatching the show (man, I forgot just how rough Vol. 1 and 2 are. Like… holy shit man, it's sad ngl).

Now with that out of the way, let us begin the chapter!

xxXXxxXXxx

[Chinatsu]

Certain laws of nature couldn't be undone. The world functioned the way it did because of those laws, and by nature, it should be obvious to even those with higher sapience the very basic rule of Survival of The Fittest. The Strong ruled whereas the Weak obeyed. In return for total submission, the strong protect the weak from anything that should seek to hurt them.

It was how the world worked. No matter what anybody said, no matter what morals were in play, the weak served the strong, and the strong led the weak.

And no better was that exacerbated than when Jolyne Brooks knocked on her door and showed her just what it meant to be weak. It didn't matter how spaced apart the gaps in their levels were. It didn't matter if Chinatsu was 40 levels higher than Jolyne, and nor did it matter if she had reality-warping attacks. Jolyne, by the very nature of how things worked, was superior to her in every way.

And the worst part?

She was holding back.

Throughout the "fight," Jolyne held back her punches. She never once used full power on Chinatsu, which told her two things. The first thing was that Jolyne did not view her as worthy to taste the full power of her attacks. And the second thing was that Jolyne knew coming into the fight that she would've steamrolled over her. Even if she had been surprised by the fact that she had the ability to shatter reality, it mattered little, because Jolyne could tank that attack.

Granted, it might have been because of a spell that she had that allowed her to survive the attack, but the point still stood. The fact that Jolyne had a counter to her second strongest attack, the strongest being Divine Hellstorm, was nothing to scoff at.

And it further went to show that Jolyne was superior to her. It went to show that, if Jolyne truly wanted to, she could do anything to Chinatsu, and it mattered very little what she did to her to try and stop her because it would've been pointless.

But, despite that being extremely obvious, and despite the fact that it was shown that they stood no chance in hell against her, for any reason at all whatsoever, some people had a problem with doing as Jolyne told them to do, even if it meant their lives were on the line.

"We are not joining them, and that's final!" Kokichi yelled, baring his teeth at Chinatsu as the blue-haired gamer glared at her younger brother.

"What part of "we do not have a choice in the matter" do you NOT understand?! You saw what she did to me. If we resist her, she'd paint the city red in our blood,"Chinatsu yelled back, not backing down from her stance.

They had been arguing back and forth about this issue for nearly an hour, and by now it was starting to annoy her. One of them had to let up eventually, and Chinatsu knew that it wasn't going to be Kokichi that did so.

So, instead of continuing the argument, and not fully flesh out her reasoning for why she was so deadset on allying with The Grey Council, she decided to do the opposite—which in hindsight she should've done earlier, but that was not important now. The glare in her eyes softened, as she looked over to the rest of her guild members, including the new ones that had joined just days ago.

She knew Kokichi was worried about them more than about himself. It was just how Kokichi was. Despite his masquerade of being a selfish prick who was only interested in himself, at least, when he wasn't around her or the Guild, that was all it was, a masquerade.

The only thing that he cared more about than himself, was D.I.C.E., along with the rules of the guild. It was why he threw he-who-shall-not-be-named off the roof of The Future Foundation building for the colossal fuck up that they had made. He would lay down his life to protect his guild, which was why he was so adamant about not allying with The Grey Council.

But… at the end of the day, what choice did they have? Realistically speaking, what choice did they have in stopping an unstoppable monster? They had limits. Everyone did. Jolyne did not. While they stagnated and stayed that the same level of strength, Jolyne would continue to grow stronger and stronger until the end of time itself.

So, even if she hated the thought, it mattered little what Kokichi thought was best. In this situation, they had no choice. Because it was either ally with them, or die.

Chinatsu looked back at her brother, who had his arms crossed and eyes narrowed at her. She frowned, her facial features softening, as she hugged herself. She was lucky Lady Mary had healed her wounds when Jolyne left, otherwise she'd be out of commission until she slept. Gamer's Body might have been good, but it wasn't that good. It wasn't like she could regenerate. Her body was still human, and not… whatever Jolyne was.

"Look… Ko-chan… I know you mean well. I know you want to protect the others of the guild. But denying her is not an option. Because we both know that if we do… everyone dies. Including me. So stop being stubborn, and work with me here," Chinatsu said, as Kokichi closed his eyes, and exhaled sharply. "Look, I don't like the idea either," Chinatsu quickly followed up, "but realistically speaking, now that we're her soon-to-be allies, it means we're not on her radar as potential threats. If anything, we benefit more from this than we lose. Look past the fact that we're losing our autonomy, and look at it from a more logical angle. The positives outweigh the negatives."

"We shouldn't be in this situation in the first place," Kokichi grumbled, shooting a small inoffensive glare to the floor.

"I know that. She knows it was an accident. Hell, I'm pretty sure the reason why we're alive right now is that she knows it was an accident. If she thought otherwise, do you really think either of us would be alive right now?" Chinatsu replied as Kokichi sighed, looking at Chinatsu, the glare gone, replaced by an upset expression.

"I just… It's just…!"

"Unfair?" Chinatsu finished for him, as Kokichi nodded.

"I concur…." Gundham, who had been silent ever since Jolyne left, spoke, his mismatched-coloured eyes looking at the two. "The Witch knows we're here. This place is no longer safe for us. I and my friends are leav—"

"Oh no, you're not~!" A sweet, yet sadistic voice rang throughout the warehouse, as everyone turned to see a mauve-haired teenager standing at the entrance of the warehouse. She wore a black hoodie, with a Galaga pin in her hair. She also wore a thigh-high light brown skirt, with a pair of black stockings and shoes. Jumping off of her hand were sparks of Dragon-Tier Magic, specifically lightning, and that alone was enough to note her as a threat.

"Jolyne told me I get to watch over the former prisoners, and that they're to stay right here, lest she finishes the job," the teen said, looking over to Chinatsu. "I don't care about you or your guild. I'm here to watch over my former classmates. And, if they were smart… they'd stick around. Or else."

The air in the room became heavy at that very moment. Gundham stared down the mauve-haired teen, the immediate area around him becoming colder than a meat locker. Chinatsu could sense that a fight was mere moments away from breaking out. Any wrong movement could spell disaster, and Chinatsu was not about to allow that.

"What's your name?" Chinatsu asked, trying to keep things cordial. The new arrival looked over to her, then smiled, toning down the lightning. Chinatsu knew, however, that all it would take for her to use it was a gentle breeze blowing through her fingers. It was clear that she had mastery over the spell like no other, which only made her even more of a threat.

Which begged the question…. Why did Jolyne see it prudent that this person, who was clearly not mentally all there, watch over her supposed ex-prisoners? They were former classmates, apparently, so perhaps this person asked and Jolyne simply allowed it. Or, was it of her volition? Perhaps it was to send a message, that even someone who wasn't a Multiversal Gamer could take her out?

Well, if that was the case, then the newcomer would have made that apparent already. But, she had done the opposite. She had said that she didn't care about D.I.C.E. and was only there for Gundham and his friends.

"Who, me? My name's Chiaki Nanami, Ultimate Gamer, and… uh, well, I don't think it's been stated officially, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be the case, I'm the Foreign Affairs Minister of The Grey Council! And, well, this does count as Foreign Affairs, and since they are, or, were prisoners of The Grey Council, I've been assigned to keep watch over them until Jolyne-chan deems them trustworthy enough to be left alone! Hope you don't mind, Ouma-san!"

That… was a lot less than what she was expecting. She pursed her lips. If Chinatsu really wanted to, she could kick her out right here, right now. Even if she did have one powerful spell, she had things that could easily counter it, such as Thunder Immunity, a spell she got from a Spell Token years ago. It wasn't passive, mind you, she had to activate it, but even if she didn't she'd be able to tank the hit.

After all, Chiaki Nanami was not a Gamer, she was a gamer. Someone who played video games. Therefore, realistically speaking, she was not nearly as much of a threat to her as she was to say, her brother, Kokichi.

Or, in this case, Gundham, Mikan, Hiyoko, and Mahiru.

However, at the same time, if all she was here to do was watch, and do the equivalent of loom over them every now and again, then there really wasn't much of a precedent to kick her out or try and throw her out forcefully.

"Fine… I'll allow it. Under one condition, okay?" Chinatsu asked as Chiaki frowned, but nodded. "Good. If there is ever an issue, I want peace. I do not want to see any bloodshed. Not unless it is completely, and I mean completely unavoidable. That includes torture, maiming, or use of spells that aren't passive and are harmful," Chinatsu said as Chiaki was about to abject, but, Chinatsu continued before she could speak. "Just because I am not as powerful as your Boss, does not make me someone you can walk all over, Chiaki Nanami. There is a reason why I am known as The First. If it weren't for me, Magic would not exist in this universe. So, I'll only say this once. Am. I. Understood."

Chiaki seemed annoyed at that, but, nodded firmly in response. "Yeah, alright. Fine," Chiaki replied, before looking back over to Gundham. "Seems as if you're safe, Gundham. So I'd suggest you cool down there."

Gundham continued to glare at Chiaki, but, relented on the spell he had been charging up. He exhaled sharply, bared his teeth, and snarled. "This is not over. I will have my revenge! And I will make that Witch pay. Mark my words, traitor." Gundham bit out, as Chiaki scoffed, waving him off as if he were a non-issue.

"Yeah, right. I'd like to see you try…. Anywho, I'll be over in that corner, for the time being, sleeping. If you have any questions you want to ask me, Ouma-san, just wake me up," Chiaki said, as she sauntered over to an empty corner, sat down against a wall, and… actually fell asleep. Just when she had hoped that enough was enough, and she could start to do something else, a pop-up appeared.

{Alliance Request from: The Grey Council}

{Message: I, Jolyne Brooks, humbly request of you an Alliance. There is no option here, as we both know what will happen if you decline. Let's let bygones be bygones, and together, we will forge a new era of peace between our Guilds! (PS: Sorry for this being late, I was still trying to figure this junk out. Also, once this has been accepted, I will be contacting you through a mental link.)}

-ACCEPT?-

{Y/N}

Knowing she had no choice, she accepted the request. Not even five seconds later, she felt a mental connection be formed between herself, and Jolyne. Once the connection was made, Jolyne spoke to her.

"Hello, Chinatsu."

"Hello, Jolyne. To what do I owe the pleasure of such an abrupt call?"

"Drop the formalities, Chinatsu. I'm not going to divorce your head from your body because you decide to give me some sass. At the very least be honest with yourself and don't phone in the lack of respect you have for me."

Chinatsu actually had to hold back a laugh at that. Why? Because of all that stress that had been building up in her chest had to find some way to escape, and thank god for it. "Well, if that's the case. What the fuck do you want?"

"Your assistance."

Chinatsu blinked, shocked. "You need my assistance? Whatever for?"

"Someone dear to me died, specifically, a child. Not my child or anything, I'm too young to be having kids, biologically at least. Long story short, I rescued her from an abusive situation, and she was supposed to be safe with me. Turns out, however, an enemy of mine that I had no idea existed decided it was a good idea to kill her. So, logically speaking, I now have to kill them."

"That's all well and good and all, but what does this have to do with me?"

"Glad you asked. See, in order to fully enact Operation: Despair, which is a plan that I have been cooking up with two of the founding members of The Grey Council, my Girlfriend Sayaka Maizono will be performing a song at Hope's Peak Academy that contains a secret message that will spread Despair to all of those who listen to it. The thing is, though, is that I'm pretty sure that this current enemy of mine, seeing as he's willing to kill children and is very aware of those who are considered my allies, I have a sneaking suspicion that if he sees her, she's going to get killed."

"Let me take a shot in the dark. You want me to be her bodyguard, yeah?"

"Not just you, but all of D.I.C.E. From what my Retainer has told me, he's just as powerful, if not moreso than myself at the moment. But, you know what they say, the advantage lies in numbers. To prove your loyalty to me, you'll do this for me. Alright?"

Chinatsu bit her tongue. She was going to say a witty remark back, but after that last line, there was no fucking way that was happening. That would mean instant death, or, at the very least, a very painful beating later.

"Alright. When do we need to be there?"

"Asap. And… thank you for doing this for me."

When the mental connection was severed, the unspoken "not that we have a choice" rang out through Chinatsu's head. Turning to face her Guild, Chinatsu relayed the information to everyone, and five minutes later, they were already on their way.

The only thing on Chinatsu's mind was not screwing this up, because she feared what would happen if they did.

[Izuru Kamakura]

Izuru wasn't stupid. He didn't think he could be even if he tried, and in retrospect, as he thought about his recent actions, killing that child might have been an overreaction. Then again, he was well aware of just how quickly people could gain power. Not to mention, the child in question was working with Jolyne Brooks, the bane of his existence. Anyway to knock her down a peg was a good thing, morals be damned.

Jin Kirigiri recently told him to do anything he saw fit to defeat Jolyne Brooks, laws be damned. It showed that even a man of such prestige did not worry about things like laws or morals, either. He also filled him in on one of her most powerful abilities.

Something called "Whitesnake."

If his memory served him right, that was the name of an English Band. Why The Ultimate Mage would wish to name one of her abilities off of a band illuded him, but that was beside the point.

According to Jin Kirigiri, who had been under the effect of this Whitesnake ability, it was able to strip away the memories and powers of anyone it came into physical contact with. Not that Izuru had to worry about such a thing. He was immune to mental and power tampering—one of the only things he could thank his creators for.

However, that was completely ignoring its attack potential. From security footage alone from Jolyne Brook's fight with Sakura Ogami, just by estimating from what he saw, Whitesnake could, most likely, punch through the human body like a wrecking ball would a piece of paper.

From what he knew about Sakura Ogami, her body was so durable that, if the media was to be believed, she was able to survive a mini-skyscraper falling on her, and her coming out unscathed. The fact that Whitesnake was able to penetrate the skin of, and blow through Sakura's extremely durable body was something that he needed to be wary of.

Oh, sure, he had spells that upped his defences higher than that of a building, that was out of the question. What was out of the question was the growth in strength Jolyne Brooks could've undergone in a short amount of time. There was a distinct possibility that Whitesnake was stronger now, and he didn't exactly have a counter for everything. He knew very little of Jolyne Brook's skill set. The only concrete things he knew of her were her ability to summon goo-like monsters made of rotting cellular material, the ability to turn her body into Magma at will and use it to fight, Whitesnake, and her absurd physical strengths and durability.

Then again, he could always just summon a Black Hole on her body and be done with it—which was probably what he was going to do—but the point still stood. There was a chance that she had gotten stronger, and had gotten new abilities in the short period of time that she had between her fight with Sakura Ogami, to today.

After all, she was the Ultimate Mage for a reason. Anyone with the prefix "Ultimate" next to their name would have crazy amounts of potential. Even if he hated her very existence, credit where credit was due, she was a master of Magic. Well, perhaps not that. It was more or less the case of being talented at everything, but a master at nothing. Whereas he was a master of everything and anything.

He was The World to her The Fool, as it were.

And speaking of fools….

"You've been following me for a while now, haven't you? Ultimate Soldier," Izuru blurted out, stopping dead in his tracks in the middle of the hallway on the third floor. The person who had been stalking him since he got to the second floor halted in their tracks. To be completely fair to them, had it not been for the passive spell Sensory Mastery he most likely would not have been able to sense their movements.

The attack was sudden, as the butt of a gun came crashing down near his head. Izuru didn't even need to so much as move his arm, for Mukuro Ikosaba, dressed in a combat vest and what appeared to be a white shirt and black pants, to go flying to the other end of the hall.

Gaelic Winds was a rather useful spell, as he had come to find out. The Ultimate Ultimate sighed, shaking his head as he reached his hand outward, facing Mukuro. "You're a fool, Ikosaba Mukuro. Perish—"

Before he could finish the sentence, Mukuro… vanished. Activating Detect Magic, he assumed it to be an invisibility spell. But it wasn't, she was simply just that fast and he realized that when he felt a sharp impact, and stabbing feeling at the base of his back, making him inch forward ever-so-slightly. She had wedged a combat knife into his back, not that it did much, even if it did annoy him that she was able to land a blow on him while being a regular human with no magical capabilities.

Without so much as looking, Izuru whipped his hand backward in an attempt to snag Mukuro. He was inches away from grabbing her, only to miss by a split second. Yet again, that unnatural speed was working in her favour.

What an annoyance.

"Hmm… well, it is said that she has not been hurt even once in a battle. I guess she's proving that claim against me. But, one must wonder… why? Surely she knows she cannot defeat me, does she?" Izuru thought as the Ultimate Soldier fired on Izuru using the MP5 she had in her arms. The moment the bullets started to fire, the world began to slow down to a crawl, as every colour dulled to nothing but monochromatic greys and blacks.

Bullet Time was a spell that The Steering Committee learned about through Jolyne Brooks' use of it, and thus, implemented into his already massive and nigh-unending arsenal of Spells. Izuru frowned, walking between the fast-firing burst of bullets. To Mukuro, it would appear as if standing still, with the bullets simply phasing through him, when in reality, he was moving so fast that the human brain simply could not comprehend it.

By the time he had appeared behind Mukuro, his hand was coated in his version of Jolyne Brooks' Bear Claw and was already stabbed through Mukuro's back, through her chest, with her heart in his hand, when Bullet Time had ended, leaving Mukuro with wide, but now dead looking, eyes, as she slumped forward with his arm sticking through her lifeless body. The red-eyed man-made monster sighed, pulling his hand out from the gaping wound, and crushing The Ultimate Soldier's heart, all the while The Ultimate Ultimate frowned with disappointment.

What had been her goal? Why had she wanted to fight him? Was it because she had been spotted? He would've killed her regardless, so she probably figured that she should've at least put up a fight, as meaningless as it was.

"What a bore… and a waste of my time," Izuru said, frowning as he wiped his now bloodied arm on the wall next to him. Looking up at the camera that had zoomed in on him, he wondered just how much of that Jin had seen. Looking back down the hall, he closed his eyes and activated Inferred Detection. The classroom down the hallway was full, presumably, Class 77 – A, and the one on the floor directly below it was full of more students that being Class 78. Noticeably, four seats were empty.

He knew the first three to belong to Junko Enoshima, the now deceased Mukuro Ikosaba, and the illusive Sayaka Maizono, but the fourth? Was there a chance that Kyoko Kirigiri was with her father? That could've been the case. Well, then again, there was also Makoto Naegi, former Ultimate Lucky Student turned Ultimate Miracle Worker. From what he knew, the boy was hardly ever in class due to his ability to heal the sick and injured. And because of that Hospitals often called for him to be there during work hours, and even paid him triple the average doctor's salary, even if he was just lounging around.

If he were making that much money, he'd seldom ever show up to this wretched building, too.

It was almost funny how much his opinion had changed of Hope's Peak Academy. Well, not his opinion, but… well, again, he and Hajime were one and the same. They shared the same body, though he had dominant control over the body. And while Hajime was rendered nothing more than a fleeting consciousness in the back of his mind, Hajime was still there. He was silent, too.

The only times he hadn't been silent was when he was against something Izuru did. Case in point being his killing of that child. Hajime had found it repugnant. Izuru didn't care, and after causing him a headache, Hajime shut up. Ever since then, Hajime had yet to speak out again. Which, for his sake, was good.

He focused harder on Inferred Detection and frowned. He'd have to move up a floor to scout out more of the building. He was able to see the floor he was on, and the floor below him, but not the floor above him. It was the limit of the spell, which while annoying, made sense.

And so, up the stairs he went.

The moment he got up the stairs, he did yet another sweep. Empty room after empty room lined his sight. Floor three, except the medical office which was filled with medical personnel, go figure, was barren.

So, up he went again to floor four. Once again, he was met with emptiness. No one was on the fourth floor, with the sole exception of someone else using the opposite staircase on the other end of the building. A part of him felt the urge to pursue the person, but, he decided against it. After all, there was one place where he knew he could find Jolyne Brooks, that being her Ultimate Lab, which was located on the fifth floor.

And so, with a tad bit of eagerness, Izuru climbed the final set of stairs and used Inferred Detection. Just as he expected, someone was within Jolyne's Ultimate Lab, that someone having to have been Jolyne. Marching his way there, Izuru felt his heartbeat for the first time, especially since it had been beating so vigorously. Finally, he'd have his revenge! For it was Jolyne Brooks' mere existence that caused his suffering! All he'd have to do is put an end to their life, and he would be free, metaphorically speaking that is.

Not even bothering to open the door, with a single swing of his arm, Izuru slapped open the door belonging to Jolyne's Ultimate Room. A wicked grin spread across Izuru's face, his eyes gleaming with righteous fury, as he was ready to cast up his Black Hole spell to finally take out Jolyne Brooks…. Only to be met with a room riddled with….

"Are those…. C4 Charges…?" Izuru said, his eyes wide as Junko Enoshima smirked, sitting in the middle of the room with a switch in her right hand. Her head lulled over to one side, with her free hand balled up into a fist and pressed up against her left cheek, while her right leg was crossed over her left one, and the chair she was sitting in was a regular wooden chair, with one out of the 500 C4 charges placed under it.

"Jolyne had a feeling you'd come here searching for her. I mean, it's kinda obvious, yeah?" Junko said, flipping the protective cover off of the detonator. "Mukuro and I knew that we'd die anyway, and what's more Despairful than not seeing the plan you so desperately tried to make come to fruition? And with no one on the fifth and sixth floor of the school, and with everything being set in motion… I'd like to think that my involvement with the plan ends here! And, assuming this doesn't kill you…. Jolyne will. Gute Nacht!"

Izuru tried to leave the immediate blast radius, but Junko had been too quick on the draw, pressing down on the button. The bombs went off, and with it, a powerful blast overtook Izuru Kamakura, sending him through wall after all after wall after wall. His body became riddled with wounds, as splinters of wood and metal shrapnel stabbed through every inch of his body. His ears ruptured upon the explosion happening, and just when he thought things couldn't get any worse when he stopped crashing through walls, he happened to end up in The Ultimate Soldiers Ultimate Lab, with his shoulders impaled by sharp metal spears sticking out of the wall.

Smoke bellowed from the now destroyed room and… quite frankly that entire portion of the building off in the distance. Blood trickled down from the corners of Izuru's mouth, his impaled shoulders, his forehead, and from the several now open wounds in his body. The top portion of his suit had been completely blown away, revealing what some might call a swimmers physique, but more muscular. He had several surgical scars on his chest region, as well as what appeared to be a giant cross-like burn marring his stomach region. It was a symbol that was grafted onto him by one of the scientists, which, if he remembered what the doctor had said was to "deem him a God amongst men."

Izuur pulled himself off of the spears as a green glow came over his body. It wasn't a healing spell, per se. It was more or less something that halted any bleeding, internal or otherwise. The scientists never considered the idea that he'd ever have to deal with military-grade explosives, much less, from what he counted, over 500 of them. Then again, they never assumed that he'd have to deal with someone who could even lay a finger on him, let alone be faster than him.

Dusting himself off of all the debris, Izuru looked over to the stairwell. The fifth floor was in complete and total ruin, and with the afternoon sun now coming through the now massive gap in the non-existent wall in the distance, Izuru felt as if he needed to speed things up. Why? Because now he knew Jolyne was up to something. There weren't many places where Jolyne could now hide, not when a good chunk of the school was destroyed by one of her ally's actions.

He couldn't waste time.

He had to find Jolyne Brooks and put an end to her. And he had a very sinking feeling that the fate of the world depended on it. He didn't know why he thought that, but he did.

[Jin Kirigiri]

He watched from the main courtyard of the school as a massive explosion rippled through the fifth floor of his beloved school. It eclipsed the west side of the building and with that amount of explosive power, there were bound to be more than just a handful of casualties, either by falling debris, or the fumes.

"No…" Jin whispered, as he looked over to his daughter, who he had pulled out of class to speak about having her help look into something for him, namely about what Junko Enoshima had been up to. But… now he knew.

Junko was planning on destroying Hope's Peak Academy, and, if this was just a prelude to the oncoming nightmare, then worse was sure to follow. "What the…" Kyoko whispered, the colour in her skin all but gone, as the two stared up at what was nothing short of a disaster. If Hope's Peak Academy fell… then what school would produce the best of the best? What would happen to the world if… if Hope's Peak Academy couldn't spread Hope to the world?

"My, My, My… it seems Junko has… taken matters into her own hands," a deep, wet yet gravelly sounding voice spoke from behind them, as Jin looked over his shoulder. His eyes widened when he saw the creature from the camera footage standing just a few feet behind them, leaning against the recently repaired fountain. "I doubt Junko or Mukuro would survive that blast. Both of them are most likely dead. A shame… I was hoping on having them watch as the world crumbled. But, it was their choice, and if they chose to go out with a bang, then they've accomplished it."

Jin faltered, as the creature look at him with malice in its eyes, but, that malice flared when it looked over to Kyoko, who drew herself into a defensive stance. "Both of you… in some way, shape, or form, have done nothing but bring my user pain. I wonder why that is? What did she do to you to elicit such a reaction? All she wanted, at the beginning at least, was to live a peaceful, quiet life. But now… there is no way for that to happen. You forced her hand, and now… tonight… the world ends. How do you feel now?"

"The world ends… tonight? What does that even mean?" Jin thought as he stared down at the humanoid monster. "What do you mean…."

The monster scoffed. "That doesn't matter. You won't be here to know what that means. After all… it was you who sicked Izuru Kamakura on my user's friends, correct? Did you know that he murdered an innocent child? A child who had nothing to do with anything? You're responsible for it… responsible for him being unleashed on the school, responsible for that child's murder… and the only way I can see you being able to make up for such a grave loss… is with you and your daughter's lives."

In the next second, Jin watched as Whitesnake, which was the monster's name, rushed toward them. Jin reached for his back pocket, which was where he carried an M1911, which he got with a permit and registered it under as a means of self-defence. He raised the gun to the front of him and aimed it at Whitesnake.

He fired off three rounds, all three of which missing. Panic rose in his chest, but that panic was quickly washed away and replaced with pain, as Whitesnake's hand drove itself through his stomach. His vision blanked, as it grew hazy along with his vision. The last thing he saw was Whitesnake grabbing the gun from his hand, and shooting Kyoko three times, once in the chest, a second time in the neck, and a third time in the head, killing her.

The last thing he saw, was Whitesnake's face as he fell to the ground in a pool of his own blood before the monster raised its foot above his head, and—

Jolyne stood within the Reserve Course Building, specifically, the music room. Her arms were crossed, as she read the new Evolution Quest. That would be something she'd get started on in the next world she went to. She had no time for distractions. At least, not right now. She knew that being in the main building was not a good idea, and even though she had just levelled up 20 times, she still didn't feel ready enough to come to blows with Izuru Kamakura.

And, based on the explosion that just happened within the main building… Junko and Mukuro were most likely dead.

Her left hand clenched into a fist, as she tried to stop herself from screaming in anguish. Her only two real friends, if she could really call them friends, were dead. All she had now were Sayaka, Natsumi, Rantaro, and the remaining children… D.I.C.E. were tenuous allies, nothing more. Opening up the Guild screen, she saw that Kotoko's name, along with Junko's and Mukuro's were gone, which only confirmed her fears about Junko and Mukuro.

"FUCK!" Jolyne thought, slamming her fist against a wall, leaving behind massive cracks upon impact. "First, the bastard takes Kotoko away… then he takes Junko and Mukuro?!" Jolyne thought, her blood boiling as she clenched her left hand into a fist.

She was running out of options. She had to kill him to get the fuck out of this ticking time bomb of a world, and the longer she delayed, the worse things were going to get. There was no doubt in her mind that he'd hunt her down to the ends of the earth, and the longer she procrastinated on getting what was most likely an impossible quest done, the more people she held dear to her were going to die.

What if Izuru left the school to search for her outside of it? What would happen if he came across the mansion, and decided to slaughter everyone in there? What if he found Sayaka? What if he found Rantaro? Chiaki, or hell, even D.I.C.E.?! Everyone she had ever made friends with, everyone who she went out of her way to build connections with would die.

There was only one thing that she could do, even if it was tantamount to committing suicide. She had to do it because otherwise, more people she cared about were going to die. And the last thing she wanted was that.

Even though she didn't like it… even though the chances of her losing were far higher than they were of winning, now with the final side-quest for this world out of the way… there was just one thing left to do.

It was time to take the fight to Izuru Kamakura.
