Carlos was pouting on the couch after another attempt by the rest of the guys to help him get a date failed once again since Carlos punched old lady Logan instead of purse robber James.

Kendall though, wasn't going to let one of his best friends give up. "If you just sit here feeling sorry for yourself, you're never going to find a girlfriend."

Carlos stopped pouting at sat up on the couch. "I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm lovable." Carlos motioned to his face.

"Which is why you have to keep looking." Kendall did his best to act positively. "A girlfriend isn't just going to walk in through the door and say, Hey let's go on a date tonight," Kendall said sarcastically.

Right at that moment, Jo walked in through the door with a smile on her face, "Hey, let's go on a date tonight."

"OK, bad example," Kendall admitted.

"Huh!" Carlos cried out.

Jo walked over to give Kendall a side hug in greeting, which Kendall happily leaned into. "I printed out two tickets to Kiss and Tell, Pop Tiger gave it five smooches on their Makeout meter," she said knowingly while looking at Kendall.

But that just made Carlos cry even more.

"Then print out two more!" Kendall declared, "Because we are going on a double date tonight with Carlos."

Carlos stood up in surprise and excitement. "I've never been on a double date before!"

"Great, who's the lucky girl?" Jo asked.

"We have to find him one."

"Piece of cake, who wouldn't want to go on a date with Carlos?" Jo said confidently.

In response, Carlos grabbed his helmet, slapped it on his head, and gave it two lucky taps. "I'm ready."

Jo and Kendall shared a knowing look between themselves. "Yeah, you can leave the helmet here," Kendall suggested.

"Nope, can't do that." Carlos shook his head.

"It's for your own good," Jo said slowly as they both stepped closer to Carlos and then lunged to try to take the helmet off, which quickly turned into a three-way wrestling match to force Carlos to let go of his helmet.

And unfortunately, things didn't fare any better from there. Jo and Kendall's speed dating plan was a disaster. Why they let Carlos bring snacks with him, Kendall didn't know, it seems that just like all his other Get Carlos a Girlfriend plans had one major flaw, they involved Carlos, who just had no idea how to flirt with girls. At all.

So, then they decided on a new plan of attack. Using some answers from Carlos, Kendall was going to play wingman a bit, by finding a girl and hyping Carlos up before she met him, while Jo would work with Carlos to try to make sure he doesn't mess this plan up. But while she was helping him, Jo had a new idea that she thought could work even better.

About an hour later, Kendall led Carlos and Jo down to the lobby.

"So what's the surprise?" Carlos asked in suspense.

"I got you a date." Kendall proudly motioned to a girl sitting down in the middle of the lobby, Carlos smiled widely, but Jo grimaced in response.

"Wait, why aren't you happy?" Kendall asked Jo.

"I wasn't sure you were going to find a date in time, so I found one." Jo pointed to another girl sitting a few feet away from the first one, reading a magazine as well.

"Awesome! I've got two dates now! So that's why it's called a double date!" Carlos said excitedly.

"No, it's not!" Jo and Kendall were both quick to correct that line of thinking before Carlos could take it too far.

"Come over here." Kendall pushed Carlos back towards the elevator before either girl could notice them.

"Kandy is great, and I found her, so Kandy wins." Kendall declared.

"But I know Megan, and she's doing this as a favor, and she's great." Jo pointed out.

"Well, Kandy is greater." Kendall pointed out.

"Oh really? Cause Megan is sweet, funny, and loves video games." Jo shot back.

"Oh, I do like video games." Carlos agreed.

"But you haven't met Kandy yet, she works at the mall, and she loves…shoes," Kendall said trying to think of something to hype Kandy up now.

"And she's completely hot," Carlos said as he kept trying to glance between the two girls.

"Exactly." Kendall nodded.

Jo then turned to Kendall, "You know what? I think you want Carlos to go out with Kandy because you think she's hot!"

"What? I don't want to date a hot girl, I want to date you!" Kendall said, and the second the words left his mouth, he knew he messed up.

Jo just shot him a look, "Do you want to try that again?"

"Wow, that came out wrong. But the important thing is Kandy is going on the double date."

"No Megan is." Jo corrected him.

"Kandy is!"

"Megan is!" Jo shot back and they kept going back and forth until Carlos interrupted them.

"Guys, can I just pick one?" Carlos asked.

"No!" Jo shouted.

"This has nothing to do with you!" Kendall shouted.

But eventually, they were able to agree to let Carlos hang out with each girl for a while and get to know them better, hopefully without scaring at least one of them away on his own.

Kendall and Jo were still pretty fired up over which girl Carlos should choose, and Kendall realized if he wasn't careful he could be in the doghouse tonight just as much as Carlos was probably pretty likely to be. He turned to Jo and whispered. "Hey while Carlos is meeting Kandy, can we talk?"

"About what?" Jo crossed her arms. Yep, she was definitely still mad at him.

"I think we both know, come on." They walked over to one of the cabanas standing around the pool, and thankfully so far at least both Kandy and Carlos were smiling which Kendall chose to take a good sign, but he wasn't going to rub it in to Jo.

They sat down, and Kendall launched right into it, choosing his words very carefully. "OK, first off, I want to clarify, the I don't want to date a hot girl sentence is probably the dumbest thing I've ever said. What I meant to say, is that I want to date you, because you are Jo, and no other girl will ever compare to you, inside or out, because you are the hottest, most beautiful girl I have ever met or ever will meet, from your head to your feet and everything in between. So please don't doubt that I love you. But even more than that I love you for your heart."

"I'm sorry too, I…it just slipped out, just Carlos said that, and that just got me madder that you could be thinking that too. That a girl's looks are the only thing you care about. And I guess I worried that was all you cared about with me, even though I know that isn't true." Jo smiled apologetically.

"I don't. Remember when I found her, my only goal was to find someone who could be good for Carlos and was willing to give him a chance. Is she pretty? I won't deny that in an objective sense." Kendall said slowly, "Many people would call her pretty, but to me, she looks no better or worse than Megan, and both pale in comparison to you."

"OK," Jo reached across the table and squeezed his hand. "It's alright Kendall, I forgive you. And I'm sorry we both suddenly turned this into a competition between us."

"You're right, we're doing this for Carlos, and I'm sure whoever he picks, we'll all have a fun time tonight, and we'll make sure the…loser for lack of a better term has no hard feelings for any of us."

"Agreed, "Jo smiled, "and you know, I will be happy to go to the movie with Carlos and whoever he picks, but I was really hoping to go with you alone," Jo said with a coy smile on her face.

"Oh really, and just why is that?" Kendall smirked back, already knowing the answer.

"I think you can probably guess, and plus since we just had a fight, I think we still need to make up properly."

"See, this is why I love you, not only are you the hottest girl in the world, you're downright devious when you want to be, and I will always be all for it." Kendall smiled back at her.

"And I love you too, So… do you want to hear my plan for tonight?"

"I'm all ears," Kendall promised happily, and he leaned closer as Jo whispered her idea for tonight in his ear.

Later that night, Jo, Kendall, Carlos, and Megan walked into the theater together. Carlos had had a lot of fun getting to know both girls earlier that afternoon, and thankfully there were no hard feelings from Kandy when Carlos and Kendall explained what was going on. Even though Kendall could of have done without Jo's slightly gloating smile when she found out her pick had won.

After getting more than enough snacks for everyone, they took their seats. Kendall and Jo made sure they were near the back and sitting close to the aisle for when the time came. All four of them were having a wonderful time together, and it seemed like Carlos' earlier coaching sessions with Jo were working as he was on his best behavior so far, and had done nothing too crazy or unintentionally rude or obnoxious to scare Megan away.

Eventually, the movie started and Kendall did his best to pay attention, but in all honesty, romance movies like this one bored him to death, the only reasons he liked watching them were because Jo liked them, but also… Kendall was paying much closer attention to Jo, and more specifically her lips. There was one other reason he really liked these movies, but he'd have to be at least a little patient.

So as the main characters met for the first time and annoyed each other at first sight for being complete opposites, Kendall slyly let go of Jo's hand he was holding beside him in favor of snaking his arm over her shoulders instead.

Jo shot him a knowing look in return but leaned her head against his shoulder, and whispered, "Soon," just loud enough for only himself to hear.

Kendall tried to settle himself down and watch the movie, but still, he couldn't stop himself from glancing over at Jo instead every minute or so, and he knew Jo was noticing each time, but she still wasn't ready for a few more minutes until she finally rolled her eyes playfully at him.

"Is our spot still open?"

Kendall glanced carefully behind them for a moment in the darkness of the theater. "Yep," he reported, "the back row is clear except for two people on the far end."

"OK," Jo gave him a soft smile, "let's go." Kendall and Jo both quietly stood up and walked back the few rows in a calm, nonchalant fashion. When they left, they looked back once to see Megan shaking her head at them with a knowing twinkle in her eye, while Carlos looked at them in confusion for a moment, until Kendall motioned between him and Jo for a moment and puckered his lips. After which Carlos nodded in understanding and shot him a thumbs up.

They made it to the back without incident, and both slipped a breath mint out of their pocket to get rid of any lingering popcorn taste they had on their breath and then Kendall started counting down silently in his head once again as he followed Jo's plan to a T.

They waited until the leading couple on-screen finally had their first short kiss, which quickly fanned the flames of romance between the two, and also around the theater. Kendall could see that plenty of other couples were more than happy to take their cue to begin their real reason for coming to this movie, and Kendall was more than ready to join in the fun.

He turned to Jo and gently reached up to caress her cheek. And Jo smiled back in response. They didn't need words anymore, they both knew exactly what the other was thinking.

Kendall leaned in close, surreptitiously pushing up the armrest between them so it was no longer in their way, smoothly capturing her lips with his. After a moment, Jo started kissing him back with just as much passion, and they quickly lost all awareness of the movie playing on the screen in front of them, they had something much more enjoyable to focus on.

Kendall loved the taste of Jo's delicious strawberry lip gloss, but he would never tell her it was because it reminded him both of her and his favorite smoothies, it didn't take too long for things to get even more heated. While they were far from the only ones making out right now, them trying to be secretive, but also in public made it even more fun than they hid away to kiss each other.

Kendall had moved his hand to begin gently combing his fingers through Jo's beautiful blonde hair, with the other hand holding her tightly around her waist, and Jo was doing the same thing back, one hand on his waist, both of them pulling each other closer, their legs sitting hip to hip, while their torsos were turned toward the other and the other lightly running through his own hair.

As they drew even closer, it wasn't much longer until their tongues were dancing between them, both wanting to take as much of everything in as possible. Only pausing when absolutely necessary to breathe, before meeting once more.

While Kendall was blind and deaf to everything except for Jo, he wouldn't have it any other way. Something about kissing Jo, just felt right, like he would never want anything else in the world as long as she was with him. As he gradually pulled her closer and closer to himself, he was determined to prove to her that she was absolutely the only girl in the entire world that he wanted with his whole heart.

Neither Jo nor Kendall was keeping any track of time, which seemed to both fly by but also let every moment keep hanging on. At one point, Jo glanced over at the screen, and seeing as the leading man was down on one knee with a ring in his hand, she held her hand out to stop Kendall from capturing her lips once more and she motioned to the screen.

Kendall nodded in understanding but leaned in for one last, sweet, tender kiss to her lips before he sat back in his seat, still smiling at her.

Jo sat back as well. "Does my hair look ok?" She asked as she knew Kendall had spent plenty of time running his hand through it.

"I think you look beautiful and don't worry, you still look presentable." Kendall smirked, "Is my hair ok?"

Jo rolled her eyes playfully at him. "Your hair looks just as great as always." She promised him.

"Good, not that I would ever deny I enjoy making out with my girlfriend, we don't need the paparazzi hunting us down to put on the cover."

"Why is that? You know Gustavo and Amy keep telling us any publicity of the two of us is good publicity."

"I know, I just don't want our parents interrogating us, or mostly me from both Mom and your dad, remember when Gustavo leaked that picture of us at Rocque Records? Your dad read us both the riot act over that one."

"I remember, but we've been old gossip the last few months since Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber got back together."

"I know. But still, we don't need to rock the boat any more than we have to." Kendall reminded her with a smile.

They watched the last few minutes of the movie in companionable silence until the credits rolled and the lights came back on. The two of them stood up together and rejoined Carlos and Megan on their way out.

"So did you guys enjoy the movie?" Kendall asked.

"Oh yeah, it was so awesome!" Carlos cheered excitedly.

"Yep, we enjoyed it, but not as much as you two did." Megan and Carlos both chuckled at them. "Kendall you look great, but I don't think that's your best shade."

"What?" Kendall asked, and Jo studied him closer for a minute and started laughing too.

"Sorry babe, looks like I left my mark on you." She chuckled and wiped away a lipstick mark on Kendall's cheek with her thumb.

"Trust me Jo, you don't ever have to apologize for that." Kendall smiled at her.

"This was really fun though, and even though you two abandoned us, maybe we could do this again sometime," Megan suggested, and with her words Carlos beamed like he was just given the world's largest corndog.

"I think that sounds like a great idea," Carlos said, and then smoothly snaked his arm around Megan's shoulders, matching how Kendall and Jo were walking beside them.

Kendall and Jo shared a congratulatory look of victory between themselves. "Don't worry Megan, next time we do something like this, we promise we won't abandon you two."

"Aww, why not?" Kendall whined dramatically and made all four of them crack up with laughter.

"What am I going to do with you?" Jo teased him.

"Anything you want," Kendall said with absolute honesty.

They made it to their car and quickly dropped Megan off at her apartment building, and when they did so, she asked Carlos to walk her to the door, which he was all too happy to do. Jo and Kendall shared a high five when Megan leaned in to kiss Carlos on the cheek as they said goodbye to each other.

"Woo! That has to be the best double date I've ever been on!" Carlos cheered when he got back to the car.

"Congrats man, I'm glad it worked out for you." Kendall reached out to share a fist bump.

"Thank you, guys. You really helped me today, and Megan is amazing."

"So are you dating yet?" Jo asked.

"No, but she said she had a lot of fun tonight and would love to see me again sometime," Carlos said excitedly.

"I'm happy for you Carlos, and I told you Megan is a really sweet girl."

"Yeah, she is." Carlos sighed in happiness, and then he smirked at them, "And obviously you two enjoyed tonight too."

"Of course we did, I was making out with my amazingly hot girlfriend in the middle of the hottest movie of the year. Why wouldn't what be fun? And I am not looking for an answer to that, from either of you."

Jo just smiled at him and squeezed his hand. "Trust me, I had just as much fun as you did." She promised him.

After a few more minutes of driving, they arrived back home at the Palm Woods and as they walked in the lobby, they ran into James and Logan walking in too.

"Hey guys, didn't we see you at the theater?" Carlos asked, "Were you at Kiss and Tell too?"

Logan and James both sighed. "Nope, we saw the Unicorn Princess," James reported.

"Why would you see that?" Jo asked them with a giggle in her smile.

"Because I messed things up with both Camille and Peggy," Logan reported with a sigh.

"And I was so focused on making sure Katie didn't go to Kiss and Tell with a boy, and my date didn't want to see The Unicorn Princess, not that it mattered since they just played in the arcade the whole time. Oh yeah, Kendall, by the way, Katie went on a date with a boy, but I made sure he was on the up and up, so don't worry."

Kendall laughed at him. "Why would I be worried?"

"Dude, she's your little sister, practically all our little sister." James reminded him.

"Yes, and that's why I know she can more than take care of herself. She is more than capable of making sure a guy knows exactly where she stands on anything." Kendall said confidently.

"So you really aren't worried that she went on a date, and that they were going to see the hottest make-out movie of the year?" James asked.

"No, there is no way she'd be interested in something like that. Staying in the arcade sounds much more like Katie's speed. Now if the guy was an idiot and hurt her, then oh yeah, that guy will regret ever meeting her." Kendall said with fire in his eyes. "But I also know Katie is even more ruthless than I am, so she'd be fine."

"OK then, whatever you say. So we know we struck out tonight, how did your double date go?" James asked.

"Awesome! Megan is so great!" Carlos, who this whole time had been practically bouncing on his toes in excitement pulled James and Logan with them as they walked to the elevator to fill them in on everything, telling them the same story he had just finished with Jo and Kendall in the car ride home.

"Well, at least we were successful tonight." Jo and Kendall smiled as they followed a few paces behind the guys, so they could take the next elevator alone together.

"I think you can call tonight a lot more than successful. I think we Big Time Crushed it!"

"Big Time Crush?" Jo asked playfully.

"Well yeah, 'cause I'm crushing on you, and we helped set Carlos and Megan up. And apparently, Katie has a crush too."

"And you're ok with your baby sister liking boys? I figured you'd be super overprotective or something."

"Just like I said before, I know I can trust Katie, I'm pretty sure if she really wanted to, she'd be more successful than the three of those guys put together." Kendall joked, "But obviously if she did need my help, that idiot wouldn't know what hit him when two Knights are after him, much less the other three."

"And you know you can count me in too."

"Of course I can, the big thing is, I would never stand in the way of someone wanting to be as happy as you make me feel."

"Aww, I want everyone to feel the way you make me feel too. It would be great if Carlos and Megan end up working out. Maybe convince Gustavo and Amy to allow more collaboration between New Town High and BTR."

"We already recorded the new theme song for you. What else could we do?"

"Well, if it were somehow possible, I think it would be great having you on the show. I know it'd be great for ratings and maybe we could act together."

"Well, if there's a five-page make-out scene involved, I'd be all for that," Kendall said teasingly.

"Didn't you get enough tonight already?"

"Nope, I can't get enough of you, ever. I'll always want more."

"Good answer." Jo smiled as they arrived at her door. Goodnight Kendall. She stepped close to giving him one last kiss in farewell.

"Goodnight Jo. I love you."

"I love you too Kendall."

They shared one more hug, and then Jo walked through the door, turning back to smile at him as it closed, and then Kendall turned to walk down the hall to his apartment. He knew without a doubt all four of them would probably be filling in about everything that went down tonight, especially since Carlos was still so amped up about his date, and Logan would probably be looking for advice to fix whatever he had messed up with Camille. Kendall would be happy to help out all his bros, like he said, he only wanted everyone else to be as happy as he was, but of course, there would always be some secrets he'd keep to himself, only the really amazing ones that he'd cherish forever.
