Dumbledore was running with urgency in his step.

Filch had just informed him and goes to inform the rest of the teachers of what just transpired.

After the trio caught up with Filch and then informed him what just happened needless to say he was nervous, no, no, not because of children are in danger, but because he is the first adult who got informed.

Meaning if anything nasty happened to the student as the first person who find out he will share half the blame if he is too slow to act, so he quickly go and fetch the headmaster of the school and the other teacher.

And when Dumbledore was informed that a student was trapped in the third floor with Fluffy he immediately ran with full strength to salvage the situation, while cursing because he cant apparate due to the the anti-apparition charm he himself put.

When he arrived at the third floor he saw Minerva was already there with her three student, unfortunately he didn't have the mood for convers with them as he immediately speak with Minerva.

"What is the situation, Minerva?" Not wasting any time he asked her.

"Not good headmaster, I've very been waiting to go inside the moment another teacher arrive." She said while trembling, anxious to go inside and save her student. She was then shivering when a great roar suddenly came from the room.

Dumbledore didn't blame her, a cerberus is known for their magic repelling hide, territorial behavior, and ferocity. In order to control(not tame) a cerberus it is known to required at least 2 trained and experienced auror, and even then their safely is not guaranteed. The fact Hagrid managed to keep one as a pet truly astounded the aged headmaster at first, before he asked Hagrid if he could borrow Fluffy as a guardian.

To think such decision would backfired so quickly truly shocked him, maybe he underestimate children curiosity too much?

Regardless he have a student to rescue right now.

"Let's go Minerva." Dumbledore said preparing to go inside with Minerva right beside him.

But, when he opened the door a surprising sight welcome their eyes.

Shirou watch as Fire coming out towards the beast.

And dissipate as soon it touch the beast skin.

Shirou was silent seeing this result before throwing another spell at it.

"Diffindo!"

This time a sharp air was coming towards the beast.

Before it was repelled towards the ceiling.

This time one of Shirou eyes is twitching if frustration.

'What the hell!!?'

He know from books he read some magical creature is resistance toward magical spell, but he didn't know yet some can even repelled spell without even flinching!

Unfortunately he didn't have a time to contemplate, because the beast roar towards him before pouncing.

'Shit!'

Cursing as he dodged letting the beast slam the wall again, Shirou quickly analyze his situation.

A closed off room, a beast who can tank his spell, his childlike body, and a wand...not a good start...perhaps a Noble Phantasm will do the job? No, a Noble Phantasm is to destructive to used in a closed off room. Shirou sighed as he dodged another pounce by rolling on the ground, the beast hit the wall again because of the small space shaking the room as it did so.

Unknown to Shirou, his severing spell after bouncing off and hit the stone ceiling create a gap on one of the stone cracking it, due to the cerberus kept slamming into the wall it started to loosening before falling to the ground behind him.

'Eh?'

Shirou who didn't notice suddenly stumbled and fall to the ground.

'What happened?'

Looking at his feet he saw a fist size rock near his leg, stumbling him. Seeing its prey on the ground the beast throw his claw towards Shirou.

Without any choice Shirou swing Kanshou towards the coming strike and...

...Pierce the beast paw.

There was an odd silence following this scene as the beast suddenly went quiet.

Before roaring in pain and flopping itself the side thrashing around its legs trying to rid the thing hurting it.

Shirou who saw this blinking his eyes in confusion, what just happened?

Seeing the beast roaring and thrashing around distracted, Shirou decided to use the chance to deal a finishing blow.

Summoning a spear Shirou put his his wand oh his mouth and grasp the spear with both hands ready to stab it towards the beast heart.

SLAM

Before a loud sound of door slammed open steal his attention.

Looking at the door he saw the headmaster and professor McGonagall enter the room before seeing the scene and froze.

The sight of a thrashing cerberus in pain and a boy with a spear on his hand and ragged school clothes looking back at them appear on their sight shocked them.

Shirou who realized how this is looked like, sighed in his heart half in relief half in apprehension.

He's going to get into trouble isn't he?

They were now in the headmaster office.

The beast is handed to Hagrid for safety measures.

On the other hand the trio is now facing something else.

"Breaking the curfew!"

"Getting yourself into danger!"

"Sneaking into a forbidden room!"

"Disobeying the headmaster warning!"

A wrathful professor McGonagall.

"Bringing a dangerous weapon on the school!" This one is aimed at Shirou.

"Now, now Minerva." The headmaster trying to calm her down, ot doesn't working.

"100 POINTS FROM GRYFFINDOR" She roars, before heaving her breath, emotionally exhausted.

Shirou and the trio merely flinch at her screamed, in Hermione case she looks ready to cry.

Ah, she's already sobbing.

Seeing the crying Hermione the angry professor calm herself so as not frighten the children anymore.

"Now, now Minerva I'm sure they've already learn their lesson with this incident and..." Now the vice headmaster is glaring towards Dumbledore, coughing he turned his attention towards the boys.

"Alright, now boys would you like to share something to us." The headmaster calling out to the boys who is now looking guilty.

Seeing that the boys is silent, too afraid to speak, Shirou decided to step up.

"It was my fault professor..." Shirou said drawing attention to him.

"I was curious to see what was in the third floor, I asked Harry and Ron to help me around..." Shirou said lying, he know if he said the real reason Harry and Ron will get extra punishment.

The kids is traumatized enough for tonight there's no need to for more punishment for them.

"And Hermione is trying to stop us but get dragged out instead." He looked at Hermione in guilt, trying to mind his word so as to make her more of a victim rather than an accomplice.

"I'm sorry Hermione." Shirou said at the end, Hermione merely nod while sobbing. The atmosphere is now lightening with Shirou confession before the headmaster speak again.

"I see, so that's how it is." He said while sighing, so it was curiosity he thought, before looking back towards Shirou.

"But Mr. Emiya you have yet to tell us where you get your weapon..." He said while looking around.

"Now that I mention it, where is it? The spear." He mention more specifically.

Shirou is silent while contemplating whether to tell them or not. He decided to just tell them about his Projection, not all of his capabilities, to the headmaster.

"About that sir, I created it." He said drawing surprised and curious looks from everyone on the room.

"Would you say it again Mr. Emiya, I'm afraid I misheard." The headmaster said.

"I created it, like this." Shirou said it again this time with demonstration.

In Shirou open hand a light came out before a spear started to form out of nowhere, everyone eyes were glued to this spectacle, especially Hermione AND professor McGonagall.

In fact, professor McGonagall eyes was looking like a woman on a shoping spree, the excitement in her eyes were blinding. It seem like Mr. Emiya had a great talent at conjuration and conjuration is part of transfiguration class so her excitement does make sense. Unfortunately the night has gone long enough and the headmaster could clearly see exhaustion on the children eyes.

"Alright..." He said gathering everyone attention, while Shirou dismissed the spear in his hand.

"Tonight has gone long enough, I think it's time for you children to sleep..." The headmaster ordered.

"Tomorrow we will talk about your punishment, now Minerva if you please." He gestured to professor McGonagall to take them away.

Professor McGonagall then proceed to take them away from the headmaster office, on the way they met Mr. Filch who is glaring at them but didn't dare to say anything.

After returning to their room, Hermione goes straight to the girls room. When the boys head touch the pillow they instantly went unconscious, as the night stress finally hitting them.

Shirou on the other hand is unable to sleep.

He spent the whole night thinking of his shortcomings.

And how to solve them.

On the next day.

Shirou was hounded by the other children and teenager as rumor saying he faced a cerberus and survived spread among the students.

The children hounded and asked Shirou question, especially Seamus. For a few days he got some sort of celebrity like status, too bad it didn't allowed him escaped punishment. 1000 long page of extra homework, damn, professor McGonagall is ruthless.

Though for some reason the Slytherin were strangely silent about this incident and trying to ignore it altogether, which is weird considering who started it. But Shirou just ignored their response seeing it as the Slytherin feeling guilty about what happened.

And so the whole fiasco ended with no one really hurt, except for the exhaustion of extra homework.

On another note, Hermione seems like enjoying the extra assignment, good for her Shirou guess.

Thus before anyone realizes the days continue to pass.

And then Halloween arrive.

Bringing Shirou another problem.

But this time he is prepared.
