Spells and Louds.
Chapter 536: Back to School, this year.
The date is January 4, which means classes are now back, the snow is gone but it's still the winter season and everything is….. Rainy, it's raining and there is also thunder and lightning and the Pokèmon outside the schools are let in.
( Royal Woods Middle School.)
At the school, some preteen humans and Faunus are trying to dry themselves from the unexpected rain storm, thankfully they have some warming systems in the school to keep them nice and dry. Can't say much whose hair might get frizzy from being dried after being soaked by the rain storm.
Jordan walks down the halls and with her is her Indoraptor Dominic and her Pokèmon companion Lopunny. "Alright you two, you guys will be staying in the gym for the time being, until this dang storm passes."
Lopunny and Dominic nod, and she rides onto the dinosaur and they walk to the gym, alongside the other Pokèmon from the other preteens at the school.
Then Jordan sees Lincoln and Linka talking to each other. "Hey guys, glad we all caught up together, also did you see that dang storm out there?"
"The heck we did, and dang is it pouring, also we ran into Clyde and the others earlier and they're gonna try and get themselves warmed up, because they got soaked from the unexpected rain" said Linka.
"I also made contact with FutureTech, and they said they'll see what this unexpected weather is all about" said Lincoln. "You doing okay?"
Jordan kisses his cheek. "Doing alright, handsome. I was in the school when the whole rain storm came out of nowhere. Also, I got a call from Mollie that she'll be at the school soon, and the bad news, is that she did not bring a raincoat or an umbrella."
"Oh dear, we should help her" said Linka. She then gets a text. "And that must be her." They head to the main doors of the school, and they spot the car from Mollie's mom. "There she is!" Some of the students see this and they see Mollie waving at them.
"We got a plan?" asked Jordan.
"The heck I do!" Lincoln then uses reaches outside the school, and they all hear a crackling sound and Mjolnir arrives. He then uses the hammer to make a lightning covered pathway, that goes to the car of Millie's mom and both of them are shocked ( Get it?) seeing this.
Mollie smiles and she gets out of the car and she races towards the school and the preteens cheer for her to hurry and they are happy she made it. "Whew! Thanks for the save there, Linc!" said Mollie.
Lincoln smirks. "We did what we had to. We weren't gonna let you run through this storm."
"Guys, look!" said Liam. They all spot this limo arrive. "I think that there is the new girl Jenny told us on the social media, but there was no info on her name and when she would come."
"That is one fancy limo" said Rusty. "She must be one rich and cool gal." But he gets elbowed by Polly.
"Then let's give her some fire support." Lincoln redirects the lightning tunnel and it goes to where the limo is parked, they then see the girl come out and race to the school and everyone cheers her on to hurry, though she is a bit skittish seeing the lightning tunnel around her.
She then makes it and Lincoln powers off the lightning tunnel and he ties Mjolnir to his belt. "Just in case the rain hasn't stopped and everyone needs to get home." He then joins the others to see and check if the new girl is doing alright.
"You okay there, new girl?" asked Simon.
"You just came to school with your limo and in this dang rain storm too" said Stella.
"A little late in my book" said Polly. "But at least you made it."
The girl sighs and takes a moment to catch her breath. "Sorry everyone, had some issues with the limo." She then removes her raincoat. "But, at least I made it. Hi, my name is Hope Pertland."
Lincoln and Jordan are wide eyed seeing her, and Linka recalls this kind of person, from another dimension. The dimension you guys know as " A Sparking Relationship ."
Hope Pertland – She was born on February 16 and from Tuscola, Michigan. Long brown hair, gold necklace around her neck, wears a sky blue t-shirt, green skirt and orange crocs. She also has pearl earrings and a gold necklace.
Her parents are Jacob and Daisy Pertland. The husband works as the new manager of the Royal Woods First National Bank and the wife works as the manager of the hotel outside of town.
"A pleasure to meet you Hope, also are you one of them rich kinda gals?" asked Liam.
Hope chuckles. "I am, and don't worry guys, I'm not a mean and snobbish kind of girl, and thank goodness I left Tuscola. Otherwise I'd have to deal with that mean rich girl there."
"Welcome to Royal Woods Middle School, Hope Pertland. We can help you get accustomed to the whole place" said Tabby.
"Thanks, I didn't think I'd make some nice pals and gals when I would come here" said Hope. She then sees three folks she heard about. "Oh my gosh! You're the Royal Defenders!" Then she realizes. "The lightning tunnel…. that was you! Lincoln Spellman! Commander Freezer Burn right?"
Lincoln, Jordan and Linka are still speechless and look to this girl, and this has the others confused.
"Are you guys okay?" asked Hope with some concern.
"Dude, what's up with you guys?" asked Zach.
"They look like they've seen a ghost" said Laurence.
"Guys, you with us?" asked Allison. "Everything okay?"
Lincoln, Linka and Jordan only had one word to say. "Peachy."
( Royal Woods High School.)
Luna and Sam walk down the halls. "So, what are we gonna do for this semester?" asked Sam.
"No clue, but we are gonna have some big tests, and the school prom will be up soon and I know we'll be both looking forward to that kinda style babe" replied Luna.
Sam chuckles. "Dang right we are, also should we be the musical entertainment this time? Because last time, we were part in the dance thing."
Luna thinks about this. "Good point Sam, we could talk to Sully and Mazzy and maybe they'd be cool with it too. Heck, we can be part of the dance one last time when we hit senior year."
Sam smirks. "Now that sounds like a plan." They then hear thunder outside. "Dang. This is one unexpected storm. Glad our Pokèmon are safe in the gym of this place."
"Actually, Loudred is in the music room, and right now he's helping in tuning the axes there and I even left him a nice large pillow to sleep on" said Luna. "Also, Linc sent me this text that he contacted FutureTech to look up on what's the deal with this dang unexpected rain storm."
"They could at least use the Weather control device to make this storm a bit less intense, at this point there might be a fire, or a power out" said Sam. "Glad Pylon generators can resist lightning storms."
They wave to Luan who is talking to Benny and they're letting their puppets speak to each other as well.
Then they see Lynn Jr talking with her roller derby team and they all walk by and high five Luna and Sam.
They then spot the posters that were all over the place, and they all have the same thing written on them.
" February 14, time for some romance in the air, for the Royal Woods Prom night and as always, the Valentines theme is back on folks. "
They then run into Leni, Jackie and Mandee. "Hey dudes, what's new with you guys?" asked Luna.
"Well, we head that there is this new girl who came to town a day ago, she's going to the Middle School and chances she'll make friends with your broth… I mean kid and the others" said Mandee.
"Still not easy getting used to the fact the white haired kid we all know and love is your son now" said Jackie.
Luna smirks. "Its cool dudes, I get it. Whoever this new girl is though, she is rich and all, so let's hope she's not mean or something."
"I'm sure she's a nice gal" said Leni. "The only way to know is to wait till we get home, and then Lincoln, Linka and Jordan will tell us. Let's not get into the whole worry flurry thing, everything will be fine."
Luna nods. "Yeah, you're right. Still I can't help but get this feeling that we know the new girl or something, like her presence in town is making it feel kinda familiar from somewhere."
Leni also feels this. "Yeah, like we have heard of a name from some rich girl, but where?"
This confuses Jackie and Mandee, but Sam thinks about this.
' Can't be one of the rich girls from the other dimension, could it?'
Then Luna has a text from Lincoln. "Hey dudes, Linc sent me a text. Chances it's about the new girl in his school."
They all go over and see the text.
Lincoln – Mom! The new girl in the school, her name is Hope Pertland, like the same one we have heard and known from the other world! She's actually here, and no she is not a mean girl.
Luna, Sam and Leni are wide eyed seeing this, but Jackie and Mandee aren't. "Well, now we know who the new girl is" said Mandee.
"You guys okay?" asked Jackie.
Leni, Luna and Sam only had one thing to say. "Peachy."
( Royal Woods Elementary School.)
Boomer's Super Kirov Airship is above the school and the lightning hitting it, is just empowering the whole thing with my power.
Arlo is inside the gym and is taking his lessons from the computer in front of him, since he can't fit the classroom.
Three boys are walking down the halls and they are; Timmy A. Spellman, Clarence " Kick" Sharp and Coop Rosato.
"So, what are we doing later? I mean, we can't go skate boarding in this weather" said Timmy.
"Yeah, and I wanted to hang out with my friends from my world too" said Coop.
"We'll figure something out, but in the meantime we should get ready for what this next semester has for us and I see one thing we gotta look forward too." Kick sees a flier on the wall and so Coop and Timmy sees it and go wide eyed.
" Sadie Hawkins Dance: This year's theme is Valentine's Day! "
Three boys know this is something that Lincoln, Jordan and Linka warned them, and also the others who used to be in the 6th grade. "Oh crud."
The loud girls see this and then walk by them.
"Yeah, good luck with that boys" replied Lola.
"Linc did that in the 5th grade and he nearly flaked on the whole thing" said Lana.
"Sigh, and most of it was my fault, along with Lynn Luan and Luna" said Lucy.
"This kind of dance is not mandatory much, they can attend it if they want to" said Lisa.
But the three boys think about this.
Timmy. ' I'm sure I can ask any of the girls I know from Dimsdale if they wanna be part of this, though I gotta pick from either Trixie or Chloe.'
Kick. ' Scarlet might think this is kinda sappy, so if she says yes then I am going, but if it's a no, then I'm chilling with Gunther when the night begins.'
Coop. ' Surely Fiona will say yes, I mean we do like each other and we both wanna express how we feel. Wow, I feel like the whole Jordacoln thing is around me, but in the opposite kinda way.'
Yup, they have plans for the Sadie Hawkins Valentines themed Dance. Good luck, boys.
( Ever After High.)
Neil is back in his office and he goes through some upcoming events for this New Year in Ever After High, and one of them is the annual True Heart's Day Dance.
"Well, time to get things ready." He looks out the window and sees the sunny sky, yeah it's not raining there.
Then he hears something break, like a glass window break. "Oh not again! The Choosey hat, it's escaped!"
( Royal Woods Golf Course.)
At the golf course, we see Leon underneath the shade of a tree with a bag of clubs and drivers and he seems nervous. "Um, guys. Is this even safe or legal to play golf in a god damn lightning storm?!"
The ones playing Sergei, Victor and Peter Sharp. "Do not fear comrade brother, for I am immune to this lightning, here watch." Sergei raises his anchor up and the lightning strikes and goes back to the sky. "See, I am immune."
Victor is also struck. "I'm powered by Tesla powers, so I am unaffected by this lightning shit."
Peter is about to get ready to strike the ball. "This isn't gonna kill me, I'm Ghost Rider, I can take this whole idea we had easy cheesy lemon squeazy. This'll be a snap!"
He draws back his club, and a large lightning bolt hits him and Leon and Sergei see the large glowing blast.
They then see Peter Sharp, is smoldering scorched. He opens his mouth, making smoke come out. "See….. A snap." He then collapses to the ground, and they just watch him.
"Well, that happened" said Sergei.
"The guy can't die and can't age, but I think he forgot he can still feel pain" said Victor.
"Can we leave now" asked Leon. "This is very dangerous and reminds me of my Yamper, but ten times worse!"
