Spells and Louds.
Chapter 551: Coraline in Royal Woods.
( January 19, Royal Woods Elementary School.)
The bell rings and a lot of the students all walk into the school to start they're day. The good dinosaur, known as Arlo walks there and goes over to greet some of the kids, he has learned so much and knows what all of them are saying.
Kick Sharp arrives on his bike and he parks it nearby and chains her in place. "See you at the end of the school day, buddy." Kick then sees A Poof powered helicopter backpack and Timmy lands and Poof turns into his backpack. "What up, kid?"
Timmy goes over and high fives him. "Hey man, good to be on time and ready for the day. We still have the big test starting next week though."
Kick smirks. "Not a problem, Timmy. We got it all wrapped up, and we have our own ways on how we study. You study as you normally do, and I study while doing something extreme."
Timmy chuckles. "The way you study is something I really question. I mean, you go around and skateboard while reading a math book without even losing your footing and then nailing the test, by more than 85 percent."
Kick does his signature pose. "Because that's how I roll."
They then see a Mutalisk land and Coop Rosato hops off and the large Zerg beast flies off. "See you after school, big guy." He then sees his two pals and walks over to them. "Hey guys, ready for today?"
"Heck yeah we are!" said Timmy and Kick as they high five and fist bump.
"Though, there is someone we're missing. My sister, Coraline" said Timmy.
"Yeah, how come she wasn't tagging with you and Poof?" asked Kick.
Poof answers that one. "She said she wants to take the scenic route and look around the town as she heads here, she'll be around soon." They then see a red Ferrari which belongs to Sunset. "And there she is right now, look alive folks." Arlo also notices this.
The door opens and walking out is the new student to Royal Woods Elementary, Coraline Spellman. The girl who fought a witch and yet lost so much, and formerly known as Coraline Jones.
The girl looks to the school and takes a deep breath, which Sunset notices. "You doing alright, sis?"
"Yeah, I'm used to going to another school. Just never thought I'd be back in one from Michigan, I mean it's not the town of Pontiac, but it's just as good as anything I'll see and I don't have to wear no boring grey uniforms, and thank goodness for that one." replied Coraline. She looks back to Sunset. "Thanks for letting me see the scenic route, sis."
Sunset nods. "My pleasure, and if you need a ride, then you know who to call." Sunset then closes the door. "See you after school, Coraline." She then drives off to her high school.
Coraline then sees the three boys that she knows, well she knows Timmy, but not Coop or Kick.
"And the new girl has entered the school, welcome to the Royal Woods Elementary school Coraline" said Coop. "I think you know who we are."
Coraline nods. "Thanks for the welcome committee, and I was told about you guys from the others. I should've started yesterday, but I had to handle living in this world and a new home. I'm still trying to see how I can manage after….. Well, you guys know."
Kick sighs. "Yeah, we were told and we're sorry for your loss. Heck, I had no issue when I was taken away from the meanest brother and sister I have met, and the weakest dad ever. But, I will miss my mom and I'm still in contact with her."
Coraline chuckles. "I was told about that one, I have yet to see how extreme you are." They then walk towards the school. But then she's confronted by Arlo. "Whoa!"
"Easy sis, this is Arlo, he's also a student here" replied Timmy/ "He's friendly."
Coraline goes close and he pets the green Apatosaurus's head. "Heh, so he really is a Good dinosaur. Nice to meet ya, Arlo. My name is Coraline Spellman."
Arlo nods, then they hear the bell ring. "Well, time to go inside. We can interact with Arlo later" said Coop. They all walk into the school, while Arlo goes to the side of the school and looks for his classroom and listen through the window.
As they walk down the halls, Coraline sees Huggins stressed in the orders from the school board, he has a lot to do and all the plans he had have been denied. Seriously, they are not planning to wax the floors again and have the students get hurt.
The girl looks around and sees the local students there, and some are Faunus which she was told and some of the students are all going through their books and looking like their trying to finish off some projects and fast. "Wow. The school sure is lively, is something going on?" asked Coraline.
Coop, Kick and Timmy forgot to inform her. "Oh, right. Well, the next big test is inbound next week, on Friday and we're all trying to get our projects and studying done" said Timmy.
"We already finished our work, now all we gotta do is catch up on some studying and then we can see how we fair well on the big test next week and we know it's not gonna be an easy task" said Coop.
"The lessons are amping up, but we have been managing" said Kick. They see the shock in the eyes of Coraline. "You okay, Coraline?"
"Whoa! I have a lot to catch up on, looks like my weeks gonna be filled with….. Boring school stuff" said Coraline. The one thing she hates, is when school occupies her time to explore.
Timmy saw this one coming, he was told what Coraline is like which is understandable. "Coraline, take it easy and don't let that bother you. Sure you got a lot to catch up on, but from what I know, is that you can be able to manage and pull through no matter what happens."
"Even though you might not have time to do what you want and check out this world, you can use the smarts and skills you got to finish the job and then have fun. Just don't let it overwhelm you. We have all been down that road and we learned to go through with it all."
Coraline smiles hearing this. "Thanks, I needed that and oh boy, do I have so much to do. But, I guess I can pull through."
"That's the spirit" said Kick. "Don't let all that stuff on school get to ya, or it's not gonna end well."
They then continue to walk down the halls and look for their lockers, though Coraline's locker is far from theirs, she doesn't mind. She just wants to see where the day has for her, and school is just the beginning of a whole new adventure for the young girl.
Coraline then closes her locker and she sees a flier and sees what it says. "Sadie Hawkins Dance on February?" She thinks about it. "Nah, not for me." She then walks away to her first class of the day.
( After School.)
The bell has rung and all the students leave the school and are looking forward to going home and getting some more work done.
The Good Dinosaur, Arlo walks down the path as school is done and he readies what he needs to know more about the world before this big test begins and he looks forward to it, but also looks forward for when spring comes.
"Well, looks like we gotta get going home now." Kick gets onto his bike. "I'll catch you guys, on the flip side!" He then rides off and catches up with his best pal, Gunther who has his…. Reindeer. Why?
Coop whistles and the Mutalisk arrives and he grabs onto it. "See you guys around." He then flies off back to the Rosato mansion, and not too far catching up is Jordan on her Indoraptor, Dominic.
Timmy then looks to his sister. "So, you wanna head on home sis?"
"Nope, I told Sunset I have other plans. You go on ahead, Timmy. I'm gonna go and check out the park" replied Coraline. "And don't worry, I was given a map and I have my phone, I'll be fine bro."
Timmy nods. "Okay then." Poof as his backpack then has a propeller and he holds onto the handles and has a helmet with goggles. "See you at home, Coraline." Timmy then takes off back to Spellman Estate.
Coraline smiles and she begins her walk to the park, as she walks she sees a limo drive be and it's from one of the new students from this month, Hope Pertland and with her are some of the friends from Jordan and all getting ready for next week.
Coraline spots her cousin, and her older sister, Lincoln and Linka and both riding off on the Vulture Bike, but then it makes a sharp turn and follows the sound of cop sirens as they chase down a runaway car. The breaks broke, and they have to stop the vehicle.
Coraline smiles. ' Dang. This town sure knows how to have some action and adventures, and some odd things I have to get used to.' Coraline sees the Pylon electric posts and the protoss warriors and machines going around their business. ' But, I have encountered odder things before.'
Coraline does pass by Gus' Games n Grub and sees some middle schoolers on their bikes. ' They must be Lincoln's friends. Man, he sure knows how to attract some pals, and I have yet to spend some time with the rest of the family, such as my grandparents.'
Coraline continues her walk through the town and heads for the park.
( Ketcham Park.)
Coraline makes it to her destination and sees the many folks going around the place and enjoying themselves, but since a lot of kids and teens from the schools have a lot of work to do, there aren't much folks around there having fun.
Coraline decides to just walk into the park and sees how well this place is.
Coraline goes around and sees all the adults and a few teens talking and enjoying some peace. She then sees the large flower garden and smiles at something that reminds her of her old home.
Coraline goes over and sees how beautiful the garden is and sees the tulips, which she does love the most. ' Kinda reminds me of…… The garden we had back at the Pink Palace.' She then looks to the sky. ' That witch, she made my life into what it was and it all started with that doll and that crawl space and because of me.'
Coraline then continues to walk down the path. ' I wonder what might have been, if she didn't get to the key that ended up in this world. Things aren't gonna be an easy road for me, but I have to see it through. Like an adventure, or a journey.'
Coraline then recalls where the key ended up, the place that is far from the park called, Tall Timbers Creek and the well is there, the same well that leads to the well back in Ashland, Oregon to the well that is not too far from what's left of the Pink Palace.
Coraline has some thoughts of going and checking that place, but her thoughts tell her not to. Too many memories of when she had to face that witch and lost the life she once had.
Coraline then sees some kids her age and some middle schoolers and Faunus kids walk into the park and they have some studying time together before next week.
Coraline then sits by the fountain and she looks at the resident Pokèmon going around the place. "This place has so much to explore, I am so going to like this place and…." She then sees something come out from the bushes and sees her.
She looks at this small floating Pokèmon going towards her and it kinda looks like a puppet. "Well hey there little guy."
This Pokèmon that looks like a floating hand puppet is a Ghost-Type, and has a dark body, no legs and some odd eyes with color, and this long pointy top on the head. This Pokèmon is from the Hoenn Region.
"Now, what kind of Pokèmon are you?" Coraline then lets it sit on her shoulder and it smiles at the sight of this girl. "Well, looks like I may have found my partner, but what the heck are you anyway?"
Coraline then gets up and she walks away from the fountain, with more journey ahead of her, as she goes through this new world that is her new life.
