Chapter 7
Nancy was greatly relieved to be home, she'd dealt with Holloway and his sexist creepy behaviour before, but this was something different, he'd never gone so far before. Finally entering her apartment she shuddered, but quickly collected herself when she heard the footsteps and soon Jonathan Byers, her fiancée entered. Jonathan had slightly long messy brown hair, fair skin and brown eyes, also being tall and slender.
"Nancy?"
She smiled and crossed the room over to him. "Hey, how was your day?"
Jonathan sighed. "My day was fine, but clearly yours wasn't. What happened?"
"How…" Nancy began but bowed her head. "You always know just how to read me. Urg."
"So…?" Jonathan began warily.
Finally she practically collapsed onto the sofa, Jonathan sat next to her, worried and she couldn't hold it back any longer. The anger, humiliation, all of it came out as she began venting.
"That...Tom Holloway, that creep from work." She burst out. "He's getting worse."
"Worse?" Jonathan asked worriedly. "How, Nancy, has he-"
"He was spouting his usual sexist crap and actually put his hands on my shoulders, clearly trying his luck. You know what he's like with that." She continued. "Then when I told him off for it he had the gall to act insulted."
Jonathan continued to listen, shocked and horrified at what he was hearing.
Nancy wasn't finished however. "Then, then that creep cornered me in the elevator and tried to touch me, when I tried to get away he actually tried to fucking grope me."
"That...bastard, I'll fucking kill him." Jonathan snapped, almost leaping to his feet.
Nancy quickly grabbed his hand. "No Jonathan...You know what he's like, he's not worth it."
Jonathan shook his head. "Nancy, you can't just leave this, he assaulted you."
"I know, but what can we do, it's not as if reporting it will do anything." Nancy said sadly.
Jonathan crumpled at that, unable to believe the situation that had just overcome them.

It was another day, Mike and Will were at school, it was a simple day, nothing much happening. The usual problems with the bullies and simply hanging out with their friends having fun chatting at lunch. But at the time this was going on, there were other issues, especially for the two boys, a turmoil roiling through their minds, without the other's knowledge. Seated around their usual table, having lunch, Will took a sideways glance at Mike, admiring his profile as he was laughing at something Lucas, who was across the table, had said.
'He's always so...he looks best when he's laughing, when he's happy.' Will thought to himself. 'I wish I could always make him that happy.'
He realized rather quickly what he was thinking and tried to catch himself. But it was no good, he couldn't deny it any more. He most certainly had a crush on Mike Wheeler.
His mind raced as he wondered. 'God I, what am I supposed to do now. I can't...I can't tell him, I've already realized that but still, I can't help it. He looks so, incredible.'
He still couldn't quite put his finger on it, there were just so many things that attracted him to Mike, his looks being just one of them, but regardless, he had to keep is secret, he'd have too. He didn't want to drive Mike away with revealing the truth and potentially driving Mike away, the reveal would make it too awkward between them. He told himself there was no way Mike could feel the same.
What he didn't realize was that did in fact seem to feel the same way. At the very least, he was feeling drawn to Will. In their first class after lunch, Mike was seated at the desk behind Will, he looked up, biting his lip as he observed Will from behind. He had been glancing at Will throughout lunch too and now this class, as he looked up at Will, before trying to tear his gaze away and up to where the teacher was teaching the lesson.
Nevertheless his mind was still on Will. 'Would he even be interested in me, I mean...oh what am I thinking, he's not even, he can't possibly be inclined that way. I mean how can he be when Jennifer Hayes is all over him.'
He had to admit he envied the girl, being able to so clearly show her interest in Will. She didn't have to fear how people would react when she did so. But even so, he did know that there was one thing to give him a little sliver of hope.
'Even with the interest she shows, Will has never actually shown any interest in Jennifer Hayes himself. But then again, does that...oh, what am I doing, I have to stop torturing myself with this.' He told himself firmly. 'C'mon, focus on the lesson, you don't want to fall behind.'
With that he forced himself to focus, but his mind was still troubled by what he now knew was a firm crush he had on one Will Byers.

With school over for the day, Will again opted for the 'scenic route' and had slipped away and changed into his Spidey suit. He pulled himself up into the air and began swinging home, he once again was glad to be web swinging, it helped clear his head, especially given the troubling thoughts he'd been dealing with, regarding his crush on Mike. As he was swinging he picked up a signal that caught his attention, a police alert. He quickly listened in.
"All units be advised, armed criminals are in the act, robbing a F.E.A.S.T. truck-"
That instantly caught Will's attention and filled him with rage, only the lowest of the low would attack a F.E.A.S.T. truck, delivering supplies to the main shelter that the people staying at the shelter would need. He got the location from the report and immediately changed the direction of his swing, he would absolutely not let them get away with this.
End of chapter, hope you enjoyed it, read and review please.
