Chapter 586: Some hints of what might come.

(February 23, after classes.)

Lincoln comes out of the school and heads to his bike and Absol goes with him, the others go to him and are confused. "Hey Linc…" Linka then asks. "Where the heck are you going and what the heck is with the rush?"

Lincoln starts the Vulture Bike. "No time… I need to speak with the Guardian about something important and…. Chances it could mean that something is coming, so be ready and stand by until I get back." He then rides off on his Vulture Bike with Absol and they're gone.

Linka, Jordan, Simon, Clyde and the others are confused from this. "Okay, well that happened" replied Jordan. She then goes to her Indoraptor, Dominic. "So, anyone else here got any plans later?"

They all speak about what they each have to do later.

Clyde and Chloe are going to stay in the school and help manage the issue with the shortage of Flour.

Laurence, Allison, Rusty, Zach, Lance, Artie, Trent and Chad are going to do some gaming at the arcade.

Darrel, Flat Tire and Jenny are gonna stay and deal with the Music, journalists and cyclers club. But also because Darrel has to handle the stage for the upcoming Middle School Talent show again.

Joy, Kat, Sadie, Mollie, Cookie, Hope and Christina are gonna go to the mall and check on the upcoming spring sale which isn't until March.

Hassan is going home. Stella and Simon are gonna go hang out at the Zhau Gonzales house, and Agatha is headed back home to spend some time with her mom, Ember.

Polly, Tabby and Giggles are gonna hang out with Haiku at the Burnt Bean.

Liam then tells them what he has planned. "Today, I'm gonna be training with Lynn." they all remain silent and look to the farm kid.

"Wait, what did you just say man?" asked Simon.

Liam realized what he just said. "Oh right. Well, here's the deal guys, I was chosen by Lynn Loud Jr to be part of the Royal Woods Baseball team, the Hit-Mon-Batters!"

Tabby is confused. "What? Why?! Also, when the bloody heck did this happen?!"

"Yesterday at Kick Sharp's Birthday party, and boy did Lynn say she was dang impressed when she said I got me a good pitching arm and soon, I might help the team win!" said Liam. He then hears a familiar sound and sees Arlo going towards him. "Looks like my rides here."

Liam goes over and kisses Tabby on the cheek. "See you later, darlin'." Liam then grabs onto Arlo and they walk away from the Middle School and head straight for the Royal Woods Baseball stadium, leaving the others confused and same with Tabby who has no idea what the heck just happened.

Linka is surprised by this. "Well… That happened, and he didn't even tell us when his first ever baseball game was gonna be too."

Victor walks into the lab and goes to see what Martin has found, and with him of course is the Grimm Megoliath. "Alright, so what's the deal with…? What the fucking hell is this shit?"

He arrives to the large storage sector and sees the whole place has been turned into a god damn greenhouse, but the plants aren't as they seem. "What the hell?!"

Victor sees that the plants seem, kinda weird… What do I mean by weird?

Well, we have some green plants that look like they can shoot like guns, and they're called: Pea Shooters, Repeaters, Split-pea, and Threepeater, Pea pod, Pea-nuts, Fire pea and Snow Pea.

There are some happy Sun Flowers and Twin Sunflowers dancing to the beat of the songs in the green house and also making some small suns that are being collected.

There is a Wall-nut and Tall-nut looking hard and strong and there's more of them and even some Pumpkins.

There are a variety of lob-class plants in the place too: Cabbage, Kernel, Watermelon, Winter-melon and Bell Pepper.

And a massive variety of other living and well-armed plants: Cactus, Coconut Cannon, Blover, Umbrella Leaf, Spikeweed, Spikerock, Cob Cannon, Garlic, Hot Potato, Bloomerang, E.M.Peach, Tile Turnip, Laser Beans, Guacodile, Bowling Bulbs, Banana launcher, Grave Buster, Potato Mine, Squash, Star fruit, Spring Bean, Bonkchoy, Citron, Chomper, Torch wood, Daisy and a whole lot more!

Victor goes towards Martin. "What the fuck is this man?! Where did these plants from Plants vs Zombies came from?!"

Martin sees the man and he puts the watering can down, also he's wearing a gardener's attire. "What's up my dude, as you can see this little project the Guardian wants us to do is working wonders."

Then Jack Cyber comes out of the other room which is the nighttime garden. "We've made a deal with someone from another world, to help make more of these plants for their conflict against the dead."

Clover Elbi walks out of another room which is where they have the water-based plants. "To ensure that this zombie threat and that their mastermind Dr. Zomboss won't go too far, gotta keep the bad guy at bay and this new army of plants will help a lot."

Also, Jack Cyber and Clover are wearing gardener clothing too. Awkward.

Victor is confused at all of this. He then looks to all the plants and how each of them play a major role in their fight against the colorfully weird undead from the other world.

Victor sighs. 'Shit. There's no fucking way am I getting out of this. Oh well.' He grabs a watering can and a trowel. "Well, what the hell are we waiting for? Let's make this a hobby."

(Karazhan.)

At the tower somewhere in Tirisfal, Lincoln is looking to Gyro who is reading the note that was from Lynn and Lana and he is confused and looks a bit concerned too.

"So, what the heck do those words mean guardian?" asked Lincoln.

Gyro goes through these words and how they rhyme. "They kinda do seem familiar… Almost like something I felt, an unexplained energy of hopelessness and yet way to much survival, mystery and a ton of trouble. A world where it's just… So messed up and unbelievable to even comprehend."

Then Gyro recalls something. 'Sure to shit this doesn't have anything to do with the madness wonderland dimension, that's for sure.'

"It's that bad huh?" asked Lincoln, even he felt worried about this.

"I honestly don't know, but it could be that bad or far worse." Gyro then puts the note away into his jacket. "But I assure you, that whatever this note and whatever Lucy said and why she said it, I will figure it out. Just… Have Lucy be kept an eye on and perhaps the answers might be clearer when she tells you."

"But do not provoke her or even push her into telling what is happening, chances that whatever has transpired her to speak these very cryptic words, might know and plan on doing something that could harm Lucy. Understood?"

Lincoln nods. "We'll keep an eye on her and make sure nothing else goes wrong, and I'll be sure to inform this to Lynn, Lana and the others and keep this low key towards Luce. We got this handled Guardian."

"Good." gyro then grabs his staff. "Now, I will be going to see Shang Tsung, perhaps he can help me figure out what world this is from and why I feel such dread reading this…. Whatever this shit is."

But before he goes Lincoln calls out to him. "Guardian… Can you tell me about what's gonna happen to my you know, the other version of me who has a hellhound mom?"

Gyro was wondering when he was going to ask that. "Lincoln, I can tell you this… That sooner or later around this week. That hellhound blooded version of you, is about to get one helluva double cross from some very ruthless and cunning overlords."

Gyro then leaps out the window and he morphs into his raven form and he passes through the portal.

Lincoln looks out the window and thinks about what Gyro told him. 'Whatever my hellhound blooded version is going through… I hope he'll be fine, because who knows what hellish demons he'll be up against… Wait, did Gyro say overlords? Like, Radio demon overlords, or something else?'
