Sonic grinded on a rail to get over to the next Gate. "Alright, you know the drill." Sonic said. Takumi put the Gear in the shrine, and it activated. He and Sonic then used it enter Cyber Space.

Takumi looked around. "Why are we back in Kawloon Level 1? Palmon and I were already here before..."

"Ya got me." Terriermon said. "But hey! This area's Digimon are nothing like the ones I just beat! We'll be done in no time!"

Takumi proceeded with Terriermon following close behind. They stooped when they spotted a Koromon. "Heads up."

"I got this." Terriermon stepped up. As the Koromon jumped to bite at him he slapped it with his ear. "Ha, ha! Nothing to it!"

Takumi picked up a Digi-Orb. "Why can't they all be that easy?"

"Speak for yourself, I'm getting bored over here! Hopefully whatever is at the end with provide more of a challenge!"

"When I was here with Palmon we fought an Eater at the end. The same one that... you know."

Terriermon went silent. "Oh...Well, don't worry buddy, I'm way stronger than I was back then!" Terriermon threw punches with his ears. "If that thing tries to eat you, he'll be getting an extra-large helping of Terrier Tornado with Bunny Flash on the side!"

Takumi laughed then went over to rub Terriermon's fur. "I know you'll protect me Terriermon. You three are always looking out for me."

Terriermon jumped onto Takumi's shoulder wrapping his ears around him. "Hey, you look after us too."

"Of course, I do...You guys are family to me."

"You know...I had no idea what family was until I met you Takumi...but this? This is nice!" Takumi laughed as he walked though Kawloon again.

Once again in what looked like Sky Sanctuary, Sonic jumped over a large gap grabbing a Red Star Ring and dashed into the portal.

Takumi and Terriermon reached the end of Kawloon Level 1. There they saw a man with a Vegimon. "Oh, hey! It's that weirdo who hates cops!" Terriermon said.

"That Digimon of his was vicious. Be careful." Takumi warned.

"I got it already!" Terriermon jumped at the enemy. "Terrier Punch!" The Vegimon whipped him with one of its stretchy arms knocking him to the ground. "Ow."

"That's why I said be careful!"

"Okay, okay." Terriermon got back up.

"Sharp Leaf!" Vegimon threw three leafs at Terriermon. He and Takumi moved out of the way.

"Bunny Flash!" He shot at the Vegimon knocking it back a bit and making a dust cloud.

"Branch Drain!" Vegimon extended its limbs from the dust and tangled around Terriermon's small body.

"Ack!" Terriemron flailed in the air, but it did him no good. "Hey! No fair!"

"Terriermon!" Takumi ran up and tried to pry Vegimon's limbs off his Digimon. Then Vegimon dropped Terriemron of his own volition and then wrapped itself around Takumi. "Gah!"

"Hey!" Terriemron got up. "Let him go you creepy plant if you know what's good for ya!" The Vegimon looked at Terriemron then looped around Takumi and latched onto his back while keeping him tied up in its limbs. "Oh, that's just cowardly you stupid weed!"

"Terriermon." Takumi made a spinning motion with his finger.

"Huh?" Terriemron blinked at him then he got the idea. "Oh!" He grinned. "Aaaah! Gotchya bud! Terrier Tornado!" Terriermon made another whirlwind that flew towards Takumi then right when it was about to hit in circled around him and rammed into the body of Vegimon from the side knocking him off Takumi. "Ha, ha!"

The Vegimon growled and got back up. "Super Stinky Jet!" It spewed green gas from its mouth.

"Terriermon, another one!" Takumi said.

"Terrier Tornado!" Terriermon used his signature attack to suck up the grotesque gas then rammed it back into Vegimon. As it was hacking Terriermon opened his mouth. "Bunny Flash!" He fired more shots from his mouth destroying the Vegimon. Its tamer disappeared. "Yay!" Terriermon jumped into the air and high fived Takumi with one of his ears.

"Atta boy Terriermon!" Takumi smiled. He found another Digi-Orb and picked it up as the portal appeared. "Come on. Let's get going."

"Okie dookie!" The two walked inside it.

The first thing the visions showed was the case Takumi took regarding the Digital Cyber Face. It ended with an elderly detective meeting Takumi with the criminal apprehended. "How did you know this was him?" Takumi asked.

"Huh? How do I know? This guy isn't a real policemen, he's just a normal guy in costume."

The fake officer smiled. "Just what you'd expect from Detective Matayoshi… You've truly earned the title of the "Shinjuku Matagi…"

Matayoshi proceeded to explain how he figured out the identity of the culprit. And how he never thought he hated cops. And how Shinjuku Matagi was his old nickname. "I suppose I should thank you for your help…"

"What do you mean?" Takumi asked.

"I was only able to catch him because you gave me important clues. You helped me save face… I thank you for that."

"Well…I'm glad I could help."

"Please pass my regards on to Kyoko, and tell her I'm sorry for worrying her."

In the end Takumi reported to Kyoko. "Still… The "Shinjuku Matagi"… "Matagi" means a bear hunter, a person who can the footprints and smell of the bear to track it down and move in for the kill. Of course, it's the perfect nickname for Detective Matayoshi."

Takumi laughed. "Yeah."

But then they saw something else entirely…In Under Kawloon Level 2…

A teen with black hair and a blue coat nearly bumping into Arata. "Whoa!"

"Gah!"

"That was a close one. Pay attention, why don't ya!"

"Sorry…"

The two walked together. Arata took the time giving Keisuke the story of Jude keeping out who he was. Then they saw a Cyberdramon save Arata from an Eater. Said Digimon was with a man with purplish hair wearing a green tank top and a hoodie like Keisuke's around his waist. "…You're as sloppy as ever, aren't you."

"…Sorry. You saved my bacon."

"Don't get it twisted. I didn't come to save you."

Then things carried on. Yuugo and Fei of Zaxon saved the three from more Eaters. And then… "Hey, Ryuji… You've been meeting that Arata Sanada quite a bit lately, huh?"

Keisuke did a take at the hooded hacker. "Wait, YOU'RE Arata Sanada?!"

The teen groaned. "Ah c'mon, don't give it away, Fei." He took his hood off. "…Ah shoot, the jig is up. I'm Arata Sanada. Nice to meet you kid."

Sonic, Takumi and Terriermon reappeared from the Gate. Sonic collected the keys. Arata and Knuckles were waiting for them. "So those are the keys you were talking about?" Arata asked.

"Yup." Sonic said as they dissolved into him. "We got a few of them now. We should be able to get our first Chaos Emerald."

Terriermon started shaking. "What's up with him?" Knuckles asked.

"Takumi…I feel like I'm about to burst with power!" Terriemron said.

"That sounds like…" Takumi put on his goggles. "Alright!" His hand glowed yellow as the Digi-Orbs circled around Terriemron then flew into him.

"Terriermon Digivolve to…" His fur came off turning him into a wireframe. Then green light swallowed him up. The wireframe grew in size before a new skin came on him. Metal parts collided onto his fists in the form of turrets. In an explosion the green light faded showing his new white and green body. Much bigger with blue pants and black firearms on his hands and red marks on his face. He pulled up bullet magazines that wrapped round him. "Gargomon!"

"You did it, you Digivolved!" Takumi smiled. "Man, that's a nostalgic look."

"Oh cool, he's got pants now." Sonic said.

Arata squinted at him. "That's the first thing that comes to mind for you?"

"So, this is "Digivolution"?" Knuckles asked. "I was kind of expecting small changes like what Chao go through, but this is straight up transformation!"

"You guys think this is awesome?" Gargomon asked. "This isn't even my final form!"

"What?"

"It's true." Takumi said. "This is only Terriemron's Champion form. He still has Ultimate and Mega Level. Then there's another form he obtained back during our final battle."

"Still, this is a major improvement." Gargomon said throwing punches. "I'll beat any bad guys that come our way no sweat! That being said I do look forward to when I can start flying again."

Takumi smiled before looking at Arata. "So that vision we saw…"

"I guess it doesn't just show your memories, but mine too." Arata said before scowling. "This stupid Cyber Space has some nerve bringing up bad memories like that."

"But it sounds like Keisuke met you too back when Digimon were in EDEN."

"Wait, you know Keisuke?"

"Vagally. We just go to the same school. But it seems like Nokia's more familiar with him."

"Huh. That right?"

"What was with that punk with the dragon though?" Sonic asked.

"You mean Ryuji?" Arata asked. "I said it all in the flashback."

"He used to be part of Jude…" Takumi said. "The Hacker Team you led."

Arata looked away. "Yeah. When the team disbanded, Ryuji never forgave me."

"Why? It wasn't your fault! When your friends started giving up after what happened in Under Zero what choice did you have but to leave?"

"Jude was where Ryuji and Chitose felt they belonged. And I took that from them."

"But even so-

"Relax Takumi." Arata said. "I've come to peace with what happened to Jude. But forget about that, that old detective sure is a sharp old man."

"Oh, you mean Matayoshi?" Takumi asked. "He's a great man. I learned a lot from him."

"He's one heck of a detective." Knuckles said. "I bet he could even give Team Chaotix a run for their money." Then something caught his eye, and he looked up. "Hey, what's that?" Everyone looked at a blue light shining high into the sky.

"We saw this on the last island…" Takumi said. "Looks like we have enough keys to get ourselves a Chaos Emerald."

"Sweet." Sonic grinned. "Let's go grab it!"

"Just keep your eyes peeled for more of those signs along the way so we can fill out our map." Takumi said.

In an enclosed space, Sonic, Takumi, Gargomon, Knuckles and Arata aproached a Chaos Emerald Vault. "There it is." Sonic said.

Knuckles and Arata looked inside the vault. "Well, I'll be." Knuckles said. "It is a Chaos Emerald."

"That's a diamond, not an emerald." Arata said.

"Huh? No, that's an emerald."

"No, diamonds have that round cut. Emeralds are more rectangular. The way they were cut was designed to deal with the issue of how they have numerous inclusions making them brittle and hard to cut."

"Yeah, thanks for the science lesson nerd." Sonic said holding the keys up to the vault.

"I'm a geek not a nerd!"

"What's the difference?"

"I don't care about the difference between nerds and geeks or emeralds and diamonds, we are not renaming the Master Emerald to the "Master Diamond"!" Knuckles said. "That's just dumb!"

The blue Chaos Emerald landed in Sonic's palm. "Okay, one down."

"At this rate, we'll be done in no time." Arata said.

"I'm no stranger to treasure hunting." Knuckles said. "And this isn't exactly the first time Sonic needed to gather the Chaos Emeralds." He then looked at Sonic and Takumi. "I'm gonna take geek boy here and do some searching of my own. Let's group up later."

"Okay." Takumi replied. "Good luck out there."

"You too." Arata said. "Don't do anything careless."

As he and Arata left Takumi put on his goggles before pointing. "There's a lot of uncharted territory that way. Maybe we'll find something."

"If you say so." Sonic started running at Takumi and Gargomon started flying on the trail behind him. They dashed across the sand when Sonic looked up. Something appeared in the sky above them. A massive metallic serpent with gigantic claws and countless teeth. They came to a stop as it flew above them. "So, what do you wanna bet that's the next Titan?"

"Shh!" Takumi hushed. "I don't think it noticed us yet." They watched it fly past them and sighed in relief. "Okay, good, it's going away."

The floating girl appeared startling them. "While I cannot fully control it, I can awaken it's rage against you." She held her hand towards the Titan and her palm glowed. The Titan's head glowed red as it started to turn around and faced Sonic, Takumi and Gargomon. The girl vanished as it slithered towards them and roared.

"Ha! Bring it on!" Gargomon pointed his weapons at it. "I'll show him what my Champion form can do!"

Takumi grabbed his arm. "Togemon tried that on the last Titan pal! It didn't end well!"

"Don't remind me." Sonic looked around. "The Cyber Sleuth's right big guy! We need to find someplace safe! Stay close!" He started running and Takumi and Gargomon flew after him. The Titan flew in a circle behind them then roared as it fired missiles.

"Incoming!" Takumi yelled.

Sonic grunted and started boosting. He swerved left and right evading the exploding missiles. A blue screen was appearing in front of him forcing him to curve. "Is it trying to box us in or something?!"

"Just keep running!" Takumi yelled as they moved around a spiked ball and smashed through some boxes. Sonic jumped in time to evade a missile and ran on the side of a wall before leaping off it and kept going. "Through those ruins!"

Sonic ran through some stone structures and avoided lasers coming from some of them along with more missiles. One exploded near Takumi making him yelp. Gargomon grabbed him. "I got ya bro!"

Sonic made constant sharp turns while still getting shot at and jumped over spiked obstacles. More walls appeared forcing him to turn and go up a ramp onto platforms in the air. After running across them, they aproached some rocks and Takumi saw someone waving. "Arata?!"

"Guys, over here!" Arata yelled. He saw a missile close in. "Sonic, behind you!"

Sonic looked behind him as it approached. "Gargomon, take Takumi and hide!" He jumped over it as it exploded on the ground.

"You got it!" Gargomon held onto his tamer tightly as he got off the Cyloop trail and jumped behind the rocks with Arata.

Sonic flipped in the air dodging two more missiles. When he landed, he jumped then jumped again evading more shots narrowly. "Sonic!" Takumi was about to step out when Gargomon dragged him back down behind the rock.

"He'll be fine, just stay hidden!" Arata yelled. Sonic ran around more missiles then rolled behind a rock. He panted before sitting down against it.

Takumi sighed in relief once he saw him escape. He looked up and saw more missiles coming down. "Brace yourselves!" They all covered their heads as they exploded around the rocks violently. Then the Titan flew over them. "…Is it over?"

Arata watched it fly away. "…Yeah. I think we lost it."

Sonic stood up. He then saw the girl. "You cannot run forever. Final warning: leave." She then disappeared.

"That was a "warning"?" Sonic muttered.

"Sonic!" Takumi Arata and Gargomon hurried over. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah, and you?"

"Just startled." Takumi sighed. "Man…That Titan's even more of a nightmare then the last."

Gargomon looked up in the direction it flew off in. "I hate to say it but even as MegaGargomon I might not be able to take that thing down."

"Then we need to find the other Chaos Emeralds." Takumi said. "Now."

"And just how is a bunch of jewelry going to help us take that thing out?!" Arata asked. "We can't even reach it!"

"The same way it did the last Titan. With all seven Chaos Emeralds, Sonic was able to transform into Super Sonic giving him flight and a major power boost. Not only that, but they allowed Rosemon to go Burst Mode."

"Burst Mode?" Gargomon asked. "The power she got during our final battle? So, wait…if we get all of those things does that mean…"

Takumi nodded. "That's right. We should be able to unlock the power you got that day to."

"What, Gargomon here has a Burst Mode too?" Sonic asked.

"It's not a Burst Mode. But it's a new form with power beyond the Mega Level just like it. It and your Super Sonic form should be able to stand up to Imperialdramon and that Titan."

"Then let's pick up the search before that kid decides to send that thing back at us." Gargomon said.

Takumi looked around and saw a sign. "Hey, look! Another puzzle." They walked over to it. They saw a black object next to it. "Okay…what are we supposed to do here?"

Sonic shrugged then used a homing attack. The object leaned back then bounced back into place. Then a sound was heard and started repeating. Slowly getting faster like a timer. "Okay, that can't be good."

"Is it about to do something?" Takumi asked.

"Well break the thing!" Arata shouted. "Quick!"

Sonic started attacking it then did a Cyclone Kick, spinning into the air. Gargomon then ran up to it. "Bunny Pummel!" He started whacking it wildly as Sonic came down with a Stomp Attack.

The sound got faster then stopped. Everyone paused when they heard a drum roll then object broke apart giving them a seed and more of the map. "That was weird." Sonic said grabbing the seed.

Takumi looked at the map. "Well, we got more of the map. Let's keep moving."

"Hold that thought." Arata said. "Knuckles and I found another one of those Gates while that Titan was chasing you guys."

"Lead the way." Sonic said. And so, they took off in the direction Arata pointed. The others floated around Sonic as he dashed ahead. Soon a giant robot with big arms and a round body named Sumo appeared. As they approached a fence of blue bands appeared around them. "Ho boy. Guess we gotta deal with this first." He used a homing attack but all it did was knock the Sumo back slightly. It slammed its arms at him, but he dodged.

"Sonic try attacking it from the sides or behind!" Takumi ordered. "Gargomon. Draw its attention!"

"You got it!" Gargomon aimed his weapons. "Gargo Pellets!" He shot green bullets of light from them at the Sumo. It didn't react much, but it did turn towards Gargomon letting Sonic circle around and bash it from behind. It slid around but didn't seem hurt.

"That thing's sturdy..." Arata then saw a part of the fence crackle with purple electricity. "Hey Takumi, you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Way ahead of you! Gargomon!"

"Charge!" Gargomon roared and rammed into the Sumo and slowly started to push hm towards the fence. It soon stopped and started pushing Gargomon back.

Sonic got an idea and jumped onto a different part of the fence and latched to it. "Might wanna move Gargomon!" He slingshot of it bouncing off multiple parts of the fence before slamming into the Sumo. Gargomon moved away before it was launched into the electric fence and got zapped before it slumped.

"Now! Get em!" Takumi said.

Sonic used Sonic Boom as Gargomon shot Gargo Pellets at it. Then Sonic did a Loop kick ad Gargomon charged then uppercutted. "Bunny Pummel!" He and Sonic struck at the same time destroying the robot.

Takumi picked up the Gear it left behind. "Good work guys. Now then, where were we?"

They proceeded but it wasn't long before the ghostly girl appeared again. "Not again." Gargomon grumbled.

Takumi looked below her to see the masked man. "You…"

Arata looked at him. "You know him?"

"Not at all. All I know is that he came from our world and now knows about Digimon in our world after he peered into my memories."

The masked man pressed his mask against is face. "Well…You're half right. I do indeed know about Digimon appearing in EDEN, then in Tokyo. Not to mention the Eaters. But's it's not that I learned it from scanning your Mental Data. I knew about it well before I came to this world."

Takumi gasped. "What did you say?!"

"That's…that's imposable!" Arata gapped. "You also remember what happened in the previous reality?!"

The man chuckled. "Surprised? I bet you five "chosen ones" thought you were the only ones who knew. Imagine my surprise when I heard Takumi and Nokia mention the Digital World."

"That's why you were peering into my memories?" Takumi asked.

"Exactly. Even though I remember what happened I didn't understand everything. As I thought, scanning your Mental Data filled in the blanks. Thank you for that." The man then snapped his fingers. A blue cage appeared trapping Takumi, Gargomon and Arata.

"Hey!"

Sonic looked back at them but returned his gaze to the girl as she spoke to him. "Father was right about you! You're reckless and destructive!"

Takumi eyed her oddly. "Father"?"

Sonic held up his hands. "I have no idea what your deal is, but if we could just talk…"

"No! No discourse, no bartering, only elimination!" The girl held up her hand and it glowed red.

"Sonic!" Takumi yelled.

Arata growled and quickly pulled up some monitors. Just as a red beam fired, Knuckles rushed in front of Sonic and blocked it with his hands. "Knuckles! Nice timing!" He pressed a few more things and the cage glowed before it disappeared. "Ha!"

Takumi smiled. "Like I said, I can always count on you Arata."

"Tch." The masked man stepped back as the girl looked at Knuckles in surprise. "Well played Arata. You always were the superior hacker."

"You speak as if we know each other." Arata said. "Who are you?"

"Does it really matter?"

Knuckles glared at the attacker. "We'll find out…After I rip that mask off and pummel some answers out of you two!" He pounded his fists together and rushed towards them as the girl floated back.

"Sounds good to me!" Gargomon charged at them.

"Gargomon, stop!" Takumi yelled.

"Why?" Arata asked as Gargomon halted.

Sonic then ran in front of Knuckles stopping him. "Whoa-whoa-WHOA! Time-out!"

"Time-out"?" Knuckles asked skeptically. "They attacked you!"

"Guys hold on!" Takumi said as he ran over to them. "I don't think they're doing this just for funsies or anything!"

"I'm with Takumi." Sonic said. "They're trying to protect something—or someone." He walked towards the mysterious duo. "I'm willing to help, but first I need to know what's going on."

The girl gasped. Takumi looked at the masked man. "Okay, listen, so you are from our world, and you do know what happened to it previously. But that doesn't explain why you came to this world in the first place. Does it have anything to do with what happened back home?"

The masked man glanced aside conflicted. The girl looked down. "No! You don't know what you're talking about!" She descended to her comrade and put a hand on his shoulder before teleporting away with him.

The group stared at where their attackers disappeared before Arata as he aproached. "Takumi, we really need to get your head checked out. You and Sonic. Those two attacked you two multiple times, wormed their way inside your head, and threatened you with metallic beasts the size of Examon and you want to offer help?"

Knuckles sighed. "I'm with Arata on this. You and Takumi are too trusting, Sonic."

"No, we're not." Sonic grinned. "Trust me." Knuckles and Arata grumbled.

Takumi spent a few more seconds staring where the masked man was. "There was somebody else who remembers the events of Digimon besides us…But how? And what is he planning to do here?"

"So anyway…" Takumi brought his attention back to Sonic as he spoke. "Arata said you two found us another Gate?"

Knuckles shook his head and sighed before turning around. "Follow me."

The group stood in front of another gate. Takumi put the Gear inside and activated it. "Alright, here goes."

"See you two in a few." Sonic said as he Takumi and Gargomon reentered Cyber Space.

Takumi and Gargomon stood in front of a familiar gate. "This is Asakusa!"

"And from the looks of it this is during the Digital Shift." Gargomon said looking around.

Takumi looked into the purple light. "Well…I guess we know where we're heading."

"Yup." Gargomon pounded his fists together. "Time to go wild!" They stepped into the Digital Shift. Once they were in the digitalized area, they stared walking and then two Gotsumon and a Frigimon aproached. "Here we go." Takumi said.

"Yup!" Gargomon pointed his gun hands at them.

"Rock Fist!" The two Gotsumon threw rocks from their heads at Gargomon who punched them apart. He then ran up and kicked one into the air then jumped and punched the other to the ground.

"Sub-Zero Ice Punch!" The Frigimon threw a punch that emitted a cold wave that froze Gargomon's arms. It then rushed towards him, and shoulder charged him.

"Focus on evading!" Takumi said. Gargomon rolled back and jumped away, sidestepped and ducked around Frigimon's multiple punches. Frigimon jumped at him and Gargomon jumped back as it punched the ground. "Now!"

Gargomon drop kicked Frigimon knocking it back. "Bunny Pummel!" He punched it with one arm breaking the ice around it then punched with the other arm freeing it from the ice as well. Frigimon stumbled back against one of the old looking structures. "Gargo Pellets!" He unleashed a rapid-fire flurry that blasted it until it went down.

"Good work!" Takumi picked up the Digi-Orb.

A humanoid Eater slowly aproached them. "Ugh, these guys!" Gargomon groaned. "They're tougher than the run of the mill Eater."

"Don't panic." Takumi said. "Just focus and we can take it down. Watch those arms and try to strike when you see an opening."

"Gotchya!" The Eater shot an arm that extended at Gargomon but he leaned away from it. The Eater launched the other arm, and Gargomon rolled around it. "Gargo pellets!" He shot at the Eater as it pulled its arms back in. It swept one at Gargomon like a whip, but he jumped over it and continued to fire. The Eater stretched the other arm out, and Gargomon ran to the side to evade while continuing to shoot at it.

Takumi then had an idea. "Gargomon, on my signal aim for the legs!" Takumi watched the Eater stretch both arms at Gargomon and he slid under them. "Now!" Gargomon knelled and fired at the Eater's shins making it drop to the ground. "Finish it off!"

Gargomon jumped high above the Eater. "Bunny Pummel!" He slammed both hands down onto it's back while firring Gargo Pellets from them and it shattered. "Alright!" Gargomon jumped with a fist in the air triumphantly.

Takumi ran up and they fist bumped. "Nice one pal!"

"Heh, heh! What did you expect! With your brains and my brawn there's not a Eater or Digimon we can't clobber!" A porta and a Digi-Orb appeared. "Huh, that was a quick run."

"I'm not complaining." Takumi said picking up the orb. "Let's head back to the others." Gargomon nodded as they stepped through.

After flying up a ramp and bouncing off two balloons Sonic flew into the portal exiting Cyber Space.

The vision showed Takumi and Arata agreeing to look into the mystery of the Digital Shifts, Eaters, EDEN Syndrome and Suedou and started looking around Shinjuku. Just as they walked past the EDEN spot Takumi stopped in his tracks. He noticed there was digitalized blue light coming from it. "Huh?" Arata noticed he was no longer following and turned around. "What's wrong? Why the sudden investigation of an EDEN spot?"

Takumi aproached it. "I think I'm detecting a special network."

Right when Arata was in the middle of questioning him, Takumi used his Connect Jump to go inside much to Arata's shock. After Takumi found himself in Asakusa. Arata contacted him and tracked him down where Takumi explained what happened to him. "I see. So you have EDEN Syndrome, too. You were devoured by an Eater. Suedou's theory was right. And your Connect Jump ability…You can do that because of your current body is…" Arata grimaced. "What I mean is…"

"What's wrong?" Takumi asked.

"I'm sorry! I should never have left you behind like that!"

Takumi smiled and shook his head. "Don't worry about it. It's not your fault."

"Don't worry about it?" Arata chuckled. "You are… too kind."

After declaring their new resolve to solve the mystery and get Takumi his body back, the Digital Shift appeared before them. Takumi and Arata investigated, but it wasn't long before they ran into an Eater that started toppling people and stealing their Mental Data before it transformed.

"Takumi! Keep your guard up! There's a theory that it's stronger after transforming!"

After defeating the Eater, they ran into Suedou and having a conversation that raised more questions than answers, Arata came to the conclusion that they needed to find out what he and Kamishiro were really up to.

"Huh? How am I going to look into them?" Arata asked. "By sneaking into Kamishiro Enterprises, of course."

Takumi gave him a skeptical look. "I'm sorry, WHAT?"

"Hahaha! It should be easy, right? As long as we have your Connect Jump and my hacking expertise!"

Takumi Gargomon and Sonic returned and collected their keys. "Sounds like you boys got into some seriously crazy stuff." Sonic said.

"That's putting it lightly." Arata chuckled. "By the way, how come you guys going through these things are bringing up OUR memories but we see nothing from you guys when you go through here?"

"I dunno. Maybe because you're from different worlds? But hey, on the bright side, we're learning more about you guys and the awesome adventure you all went on."

"Glad you're enjoying the show Sonic, but I still find it highly unfair that you guys get to look at our dark past and we get nothing on you."

"You wanna know what I think is unfair?" Knuckles asked. "That these guys get to jump in and out of Cyber Space and you and I are stuck half-way!"

"Can't argue with that." Arata muttered looking at Takumi. "I thought maybe you coming in and out just fine might have something to do with your half-cyber experience, but that doesn't explain how Sonic's getting through just fine."

"Beats me." Sonic replied. "It sounds like we all experienced the dimension differently."

"Yeah. I didn't see any way out." Knuckles said. "Your trips sound less complicated."

"Well, whatever." Sonic shrugged. "The spooky voice says we just have to trash the Titans to get you guys back to normal, so we have a plan!"

"Oh yeah? Why isn't it talking to the rest of us then?"

"Don't ask me…" Sonic had a though. "Though now that I think of it, when I came to these islands right before Takumi showed up it called me the "key"."

"Key?" Takumi asked. "For what?"

"No idea."

"Do we even know who or what this voice is?" Arata asked. "Can it be trusted?"

"Well, Mirei seems to be pushing us towards destroying the Titans alongside the knights." Takumi replied. "She's never steered me in the wrong direction before. I'm sure this will work."

"I hope your right man."

We get a glimpse of our next Titan and some more of Sonic and Takumi's mysterious enemies. Look forward to more of this sandy island next week.
