I don't own one piece, it's quite sad.

"Strawhat!" A giant man growled out. "I know you're here!"

Sanji stared in horror as the place he called home disappeared beneath the waves. We were showered in water and scraps of wood as a single man rose from the water. The burning red glare fell on our ship as he began to swim after us.

"Fuck this is my fault, isn't it?" I turned to the others and smiled. "Get going, I'll stall him and meet you guys in Loguetown. If this is handled quickly I'll run back to the ship."

"What?!" Nami shouted. "Are you crazy?! You'll get yourself killed!"

"Well as it stands we're all gonna die anyways, I'd rather sacrifice myself to help y'all out, besides he's a giant and I got home court advantage. Trust me. This is all on me anyways." I jumped off the ship landing on top of the crashing waves.

"Zeff!" Sanji's cries only grew louder over the death of his adoptive father, Zoro had to hold him back from trying to enact revenge.

"You can't fight him cook, we have to trust Jay." Zoro told him.

"Jay!" Luffy shouted. "You better not die!" He turned to Nami. "Full speed ahead." Nami nodded as the ship sailed off into the distance.

The giant man paused in his swimming as he looked down on me, his red eyes showing nothing but malice and amusement. 'Observe.'

[Error: Target's information is hidden due to the in strength.]

"Oy, little ant! What's your name?" The giant asked.

I held his stare, only a slight tremble in my legs at the terrifying man. "Don't you already know? You're a gamer aren't you? There aren't many people that I don't know in this world."

"What does being a gamer have to do with common courtesy? I asked you your name!" He growled.

"If it's common courtesy, how about giving me yours first."

"I guess you're right, there's no point in worrying about a useless ant like you anyways!" He swung into the water, causing a massive wave to collapse on my location. I jumped out of the way and shot him a glare until I saw something that horrified me much more than a swimming giant. A flying one.

"What the fuck?! How do you know that technique?"

The giant man was using geppo. "I'll let you in on a secret of mine. The ability gifted to me by this useless system is called consume. I take the abilities of any person that I kill, their form becomes mine. It's strong enough to fool even another system."

"So what's the point?" I asked him.

"I came here to kill off the strawhats! This world is for the gamers and quite frankly I didn't think anyone would be dumb enough to join them. I'll let you live, just know that I'll always be watching." He smiled darkly. "Don't make this game too easy for me. If I feel that you're boring, I'll kill you where you stand." The giant man laughed and blasted off into the sky.

My legs gave out due to the fear. "It's finally over." I sat back and thought about what has happened since I entered this world. "I completely fucked up, if I had just gone with the story some of this wouldn't have happened. I killed Kaya, I let Arlong roam free. Fuck it, no matter what, I have to press forward. I'll find that bastard and kill him."

"That's a good goal." Asobu told me. "We have to capture that system spirit and imprison him."

"Hey Jay Sensei!" A voice called out.

"Saphir, what are you doing here?" I asked.

"I came here to help, where'd the giant go?" She swam forward before jumping up on top of the water.

"He's gone, he decided to let us live. Let's head back to the ship, it's time for me to tell you all where I come from."

(Now if it seems heartless of me to not be more upset than I apologize, when something sad happens I'm the type to feel responsible and work to right that wrong. I'm not the type to sit around and cry about it, that's why it kinda seems like I just said fuck them.)

Back on the ship.

"I'm not telling you this for you to forgive me, that's not how I work. I'm telling you all this because you need to be prepared, the road to becoming pirate king will be damn near impossible for this crew." I finished.

Everyone sat in silence until Saphir spoke up. "That means there's gonna be more fights going forward, more fighting equals more fun!" She smiled.

"You're not even the least bit mad about this?!" Usopp snapped. "If he just followed the right path Kaya wouldn't have died. As far as I'm concerned he's the one who killed her!"

"Yea well if he followed the right path then Saphir wouldn't be here, I also wouldn't have been there when the Baratie was destroyed." Sanji's voice was barely above a whisper. "I would've kept journeying on without realizing everyone back home was dead, I for one thank him. The restaurant being destroyed wasn't his fault."

"Even if you don't blame him, I always will." Usopp growled out.

"I'm with Jay on this one, I can't really be mad that he chose to come save my island first. Even if Arlong is roaming free out there." Nami added.

"Yea well I hate the guy." Zoro smirked. "You're telling me I could've met Mihawk and had the fight of my life along with a bad ass scene about never losing but instead all I got was a loss from some fishman."

Luffy, who remained in silence, jumped up. "I will become the Pirate King! If it's harder to accomplish that dream, so what?! Jay, you and Usopp can figure all this out. As it stands none of us was hurt by this like he was."

"Wait so Yosaku likely died from Scurvy right?" Zoro asked.

"Maybe, but there are other gamers. Maybe one of them saved the two." I said.

"Alright! Jay we're gonna remain on the island until that storm hits, we can't have the future you saw change anymore than it already has. It might stop us from meeting some really cool people." Luffy decided. "Oh and no spoilers!"

I smiled. "Nice to see that you guys are prepared to face this. Usopp, you and I should talk. If we can't trust each other then it'll get us killed, once we reach the island, until the storm hits I'll be looking for a way for you to forgive me."

"Fine." Usopp growled out.

A couple hours later.

"Alright guys! Don't cause any trouble!" Luffy ordered.

"Look who's talking!!!" Zoro and Nami yelled.

Sanji just nodded. "I'll go find a room for us to stay in." He told everyone before walking off.

"I'll go with him!" Saphir volunteered with a bright smile. She ran to catch up to Sanji pestering him with questions as she walked beside him.

"I'm heading off to find some new swords, these two aren't gonna last much longer." Zoro held up his two normal blades before walking off in a random direction with 100,000 berries that I gifted him. Nami tried taxing him.

"I'm going to get something to eat." Luffy waved as he ran into a nearby restaurant.

"I need some new clothes." Nami waved awkwardly, leaving Usopp and I on our own.

"So…" I began.

"I need supplies to make more bullets." Usopp started walking off, not caring if I followed him or not.

Later on that night. Upstairs in a tavern, a dark room at the end of the hall. "So how'd it go?" I asked the others.

"I couldn't find the fucking sword shop! The citizens need to give better directions!" Zoro complained.

"How much you wanna bet that he walked past the place three times." I whispered to Nami who simply nodded.

"I got some clothes but I could use some more, I'll buy some before we leave." Nami added.

"Well, since we're all here it's clear that I completed what I set out to do." Sanji said, even doing a quick glance at Nami with hearts in his eyes. His mood was slowly improving.

"I got Sanji to talk to me again!" Saphir announced brightly. "I'll keep fighting!" She shaped her hand into a fist with a determined look on her face.

"I had some good food." Luffy told us.

That's when all their eyes turned to Usopp and me who just looked away. "I'm working on it." I whispered.

A week later.

"All of these colors are so bland." Saphir complained. "Nami said I should get some clothes for myself but there's nothing in blue that I like, besides Emeraude bought all my clothes for me before."

"Hey there." A girl tapped Saphir on the shoulder. "You need some help, I'm not too good with picking out clothes myself but I'm sure we could help each other."

"Of course! What's your name? I'm Saphir."

"My name is Kura, I'm with the marines. I work directly under Smoker, though if you ask me I think he may be getting too old for this island." Kura laughed.

"Where the hell is this weapon shop?!" Zoro irritably started scratching his head. "I've been looking for it for a week now!"

"Seems like that monster ain't with you today!"

"It's all because of you that our boss is in prison!"

In the middle of a group of people were two men harassing a young woman.

"If you haven't learned your lesson, I shall gladly be your opponent." The girl replied.

"Did I hear that correctly?! A little miss like you is going to be our opponent?!" One babbled on.

"Well, why not!" The other continued.

"When you die, tell that monster friend of yours," the first started.

"That our dream of going to the grand line was broken all because of him!" The other finished. The two dashed in, the girl drew a yellow blade and took a single step. In a single move the two were on the floor. Tashigi slipped falling to the floor, her glasses going with them.

The crowd cheered and laughed. "That young girl sure is strong, guess she isn't a marine for nothing."

Zoro walked up to her and handed her the glasses. "These are what you're looking for right?"

"S-Sorry for troubling you. Th-thank you very much." The girl blushed from the embarrassment.

Zoro froze up. Those eyes, that face, the hair. "She looks just like her." He whispered.

Tashigi stood up and bowed to Zoro. "Thanks again, I'll see you around."

'Hopefully not.' Zoro thought to himself. As he continued walking looking for the weapon shop he was stopped by a man.

"Hey there young man, I've seen you walk by my store 10 times this week. Did you need something?" He asked.

"I'm looking for a sword shop." Zoro told him.

The man looked dumbfounded. "Um it's right behind you." He pointed at the weapon shop.

"Thanks old man." Zoro smiled as he walked into the shop next to his desired target.

The man facepalmed before dragging him out and sending him in the right direction. Zoro walked into the sword shop with one more thank you to the man that helped him before turning to the shop clerk. "Excuse me, I'd like to purchase a sword."

The man behind the counter grinned. "Yes, Yes, yes, yes. Come right in sir. Please feel free to look around as much as you want. We've got antique swords, new swords, and the latest swords in fashion. After all this is a well established store that has been in business for over 200 years!"

Zoro dropped the bag onto the desk. "I've got 100,000 beli, I need two swords."

The man's mood immediately changed. "Tch, that's all. There's a barrel over there, the swords are 50,000 each. Take two and get out."

As Zoro turned to walk away the shopkeeper noticed the blade on Zoro's waist. "Ahhh! Young man, can I see that blade?" He asked, pointing at Wado.

Zoro tossed it to him. The man fumbled around to catch the sword. Just as he was about to examine the sword and offer a deal a girl rushed up to him.

"This sword!!! Could it be?!" She took off her glasses and examined the blade closet. "This is Wado Ichimonji, right?"

"You know about swords?" Zoro asked.

For the next five minutes the shopkeeper was subject to banter about different kinds of blades and what each of them meant before he eventually got tired of it. "You came for shigure right!" He tossed it to her. "Hurry and leave you're being loud, and you messed up a perfect business opportunity."

Tashigi caught the blade but clumsily fell into a barrel knocking the swords to the ground. As she was fixing them she came across another blade. "This is sandai kitetsu." This led to Zoro's test of luck and his eventual buying of the sword and the gift of Yubashiri.

As the two left the shop, Zoro looked at her waist. "You use two blades?"

Tashigi shook her head. "No, shigure is kind of a memento for me. My Koryu is the blade I use now. It was a gift from Kura, she said she found it in a shop or something."

Zoro looked at the blade, sheathed in a black and yellow cover. "Do you mind if I take a look at that blade?"

Tashigi smiled. "Here." She handed him the blade and Zoro immediately tensed up.

His eyes flashed red for a moment before Tashigi snatched it back. "Oh my god! I'm so sorry, I forgot the sword is cursed."

"The curse on that blade is much stronger than the one on sandai kitetsu, how can you wield that thing?" Zoro asked.

"It's my devil fruit." Her hand turned into yellow claws as scales appeared around her body. "The sword was made from the scales of the previous user, it's the Uo Uo no mi, Model: Koryu. The sword only listens to those with the devil fruit, kind of like a lineage. I was lucky that Kura somehow found them in some shop and got it for a cheap price."

Before the conversation could go any further a voice called out. "Tashigi!" Two girls walked up to the group. One of which Zoro knew would be a headache. "Hey Tashigi, let's get going. We gotta report back to Smoker before he gets angry again."

"Huh? Zoro? What are you doing here?" A bubbly Saphir asked.

Zoro facepalmed before grabbing her hand and immediately running away. "You fucking idiot! You and that idiot captain of ours can never read the room."

"Come on Usopp, it was one mistake. Just give me one more chance bro." I begged. "What I gotta do for you to forgive me, it's been a whole week. You already avenged Kaya, don't you have another goal I could help out with?"

Usopp sighed. "Fine, one chance. Train me, you may not be as strong as the others but I need help. Help me become strong enough to make sure what happened to Kaya never happens again."

"Alright I can do that." I said. As we approached a cross road we began to hear voices.

Duo one

"Just join my crew already." A voice whined.

"Why would I do that? Your crew is nothing but a bunch of ruffians." Another voice replied.

"Please Carmen, just join. My crew is filled with old men and it sucks. Even Alvida is old as hell, I could use a girl around my age. Besides, you'll be able to get your revenge on Sanji. You may have lost to him just now but you can always meet him again in the grand line. I guarantee by then you'll be a much better cook." She promised.

"Alright Arie, I'll join." Carmen replied. "If it'll get you off my back."

"Ira! Stop doing that!" Koala shouted as she grabbed hold of Ira's arm and slammed her over her shoulder. A large white sea serpent appeared from Koala's necklace and wrapped around Ira holding her in place

Clouds unnaturally began to move in as the group of 8 stared at each other. The clouds were weird as if someone might've been controlling them but maybe it was due to being so close to the grandline.

"So what's it gonna be ladies?" I asked the group of 6.

Arie shrugged. "The Captain doesn't have any problems with your crew this time around, I see no reason to fight."

Ira just latched onto Koala in a playful manner. "This is my vacation, I refuse to fight. I don't want to go back home just to be forced to craft shit again. It's tiring."

Koala sighed. "Seriously Ira, you can stand to be more disciplined." She waved. "It's nice to meet all of you, my name is Koala."

Kura looked at Ira in confusion. "Don't you guys hate World Nobles, I'm surprised you're not already attacking me."

Ira looked at her as if to say really? "We both know you're not a real world noble, just like I'm not a real Kuja."

"Um Jay, what's going on?" Usopp asked.

"It's gamer talk bro." I told him.

"Wait so they're just like you?" Usopp took a seat while trying to process the information.

"I tried to tell you to tell your crew earlier." Arie sighed. "Now you can't get off with the excuse of a devil fruit."

"Huh?!" I yelled with slight embarrassment. "How'd you know that's what I did?"

"You seem like a simpleton." Kura added.

'Great, now she's an enemy. Is this a version of Kura with knowledge of the world? She's a pain in the ass if that adaption skill is anything to go by. Not to mention Koala, what the fuck does Ira be crafting?' I asked myself.

Mist Serpent Koala, Revolutionary, Lv. 200

'Somehow she found two devil fruits and gave them to the same person.' I sighed. 'Hopefully I don't have to fight her.'

"How about we call a truce for now." Ira offered. "As it stands none of you have a chance in hell against us."

The rest of us quickly agreed but someone wasn't having it. "They're pirates!" Tashigi yelled. "They should be taken down!"

Kura just patted her on her shoulder with a sympathetic look. "It's okay Tashigi, maybe when you're stronger. As of now, a fight with them would mean death. We still haven't reported back to Smoker. There's an execution today, remember."

Tashigi shot a glare at us as Kura led her away. That's when a shout came from the town square. "The execution!" Some random background citizens shouted. "The March has begun in townsquare! They're gonna execute Man Demon Ghin!"

"Usopp, you head back to the ship. Ghin is another fault of mine, I should be the one to handle it." I ran off into the townsquare not worried about whether or not he was following me.

As the clouds formed in the sky, the sun was hidden away. A man once feared throughout the east blue walked through the town square of what used to be one of the most popular spots for pirates. The cold hard rain repeatedly hit his back but somehow it brought him peace. He always loved the rain. 'Ah, it's a nice day today, never thought I'd feel rain like this again.'

Today was the day of his execution, he however didn't care. He was a bit pissed at one thing though, there was no final meal or anything. He had been starving for nearly a month now, his insides felt like they were eating themselves. 'These marines, why didn't they offer me at least a piece of bread?' The man took a look around. In the crowd all he saw was excitement, everyone looking at him waiting for him to die. There were a few that stood out, for one he could recognize Buggy who was staring at the marines in disdain.

'Damn it! All I ever wanted was to be a good commander on the greatest pirate crew. It seems I picked the wrong Captain, he must've already been killed by Mihawk. I'm the only one that's left.'

As he made it to the steps he thought back on his life, it was lively and even a bit fun. Though Krieg was eccentric the rest of the crew felt like brothers to him, hopefully he could see them again on the other side. Eventually he reached the top of the steps looking at the two guards. Cold resolve shown on their face. "Do you have any last words!" One of the guards asked.

Ghin glanced up at him with a small smile. "Could I at least have a bite to eat before I go?" He asked. "I'd like to eat something delicious one last time."

The executioner actually looked remorseful. "I'm sorry but I can't do that."

"Would it really be that bad of an idea?" Ghin walked past him. "If you left me alone for a couple more days I would've died of starvation." He took a seat in a crisscross fashion. "I guess I should thank you for ending my life quickly."

He smiled, just a small smile. The men nodded as they brought their swords down but suddenly Ghin was knocked from the platform and a bolt of lightning struck down.

The smoky stairs that he used to reach the platform had vanished and the platform had been destroyed. His smile grew wider as he realized he was free from his shackles.

"Hey Man Demon, let's get out of here!" A voice called out.

Ghin looked up to see a young man dressed in a long all black fur coat that was open to reveal the black suit underneath. "Who the hell are you?"

"Name's Jay, I'm from the pirate crew that's here to save you today." I told him. "Let's get going." While the crowd was still in shock with everyone assuming that Ghin had died I ran out of town square with Ghin following closely behind.

The marines soon caught on and turned to catch us but were stopped by a group of people. "Hey Jay, this favor better be repaid in full." Arie smiled. "If you ever get a chance, help us out."

As Ghin and I turned a corner we saw Zoro with a blade to a girl's neck. "Why don't you kill me already?!" Tashigi spat.

Zoro turned the second he saw us and joined us in our retreat. "You look too much like an old friend of mine, you act like her too. I can't bring myself to kill you, keep training and retrieve this blade from me like you said you would."

"Are you done with your love spat swordsman?" I asked.

"That's not what that was, you damn pack mule!" He retorted.

Further up ahead Smoker was in a confrontation with Luffy, he had felt his smoke dissipate from the town square so he assumed the execution had been carried out.

Smoker had Luffy pinned to the ground with a smile on his face. "Two big name pirates in one day, I'm feeling pretty good."

I blinked forward and kicked through nothing but Smoke. Smoker turned to me. "Bandit Slayer Jay, bounty: 15 million. It'll feel good to bring you in." However before the fight could go on two women appeared behind me.

"Hey Jay right, you guys get going we'll take care of this. That boss of ours is off with the new girl trying to get her to use her devil fruit powers." Ira told me.

A giant white serpent appeared as mist began settling into the area making it hard to see. "Take them out of here!" Koala ordered.

The serpent seemed to nod to Koala before snatching us up and flying us across the island in an instant. A moment later we were on the Going Merry with Saphir jumping up a moment later to greet everyone.

Back with Koala and Ira, Smoker growled. "I'm going after them the moment I'm done dealing with you two."

Ghin smelled something good on the ship, when he turned, he saw Sanji come out the kitchen with a plate that was set in front of him.

For years to come, Ghin would recognize this as the best meal of his life. "Those marines are cruel, I've been starvin for so long, I was startin to think about eatin my own foot." Ghin laughed.

"How about helping me around the kitchen." Sanji offered. "Help serve the meals to these idiots that don't understand what real hunger is."

Ghin was shocked. "You sayin I could join the crew? Would your Cap'n mind, I ain't got nowhere else to go."

"You can join." Luffy smiled brightly.

"This is our Cap'n?" Ghin asked in confusion.

"He's great isn't he?!" Saphir beamed. "He's really strong and takes out the bad guys with some weird stretching ability." Saphir then jumped over to me. "Hey Jay, do you think it's possible to walk on water like this?"

I smiled. Most of the crew was back to normal after what happened a week ago.

"Alright guys, it's time to go! The storm is getting out of control!" Nami yelled as our ship sailed further from the shore.

Usopp stared back at the island, something drawing him in. On the shore he locked eyes with a girl.

She had pale skin and a slim figure with white hair and wide black eyes. She wore an outfit consisting of a short white dress with a black necktie and white gloves. She wore a black and white striped fur coat likely from that of a tiger. To finish the look she had fishnet stockings with fluffy rims and a garter belt.

Though the look was quite strange the face was still the same. Usopp whispered. "Kaya."

Gamelover41592: He hasn't finished seeing the consequences. Don't worry I have plans for that.

Johnnystring: Yea her character is based from an old game boy game so I don't understand her personality too well. I gotta work on that. Also I just have problems with writing female characters in general. Now that I think about it, the male characters aren't too well off either. They all seem a bit heartless, character personality is the thing I'm working on. I hope to improve.
