Chapter 15 - The Perfect Match of Metal and Earth

"All I want to hear you say is that you'll do your best, dammit!" All Might slapped his hands atop and below Izuku's head when he spouted that, giving away Yuki's position as she snorted from Izuku's face. Both looked to her, hand waving while she elbowed All Might. "Hey, well someone's got to get his head in the game." She nodded, it was true. "Besides, there's no such thing as 'luck', you'll never be the hero you want to be if you believe in something like that."

"Listen, whenever you're scared or nervous about a fight," All Might buffed out, Yuki stepping back to see his smile dawn his face. "Just try dealing with it by smiling, you've made it this far kid, even if you're worried." All Might struck a strong pose with his hands on his hips. "You must stand tall! Don't forget, I'm counting on you and cheering you on"

Izuku's smile returned brightly, seeing the two most important people offering their support in his corner. While he had to face Yuki later down the line, he'd atleast give it his all. Also, they both have a surprise for All Might that they were sure he'd like. He gasped, being slapped hard on his back, the sly gaze of Yuki staring back with her thumb up.

"Right, I'll do my best!"

~ALRIGHT AUDIENCE, LET'S GET TO THE GOOD STUFF AND NOT HOLD OFF THESE FINALS ANY LONGER! TAKE IT AWAY, VALSTRAX!~

~GET READY FOR OUR FIRST MATCH-UP OF THE DAY! BUT MAN, HE LOOKS TIMID IN THAT PICTURE, BUT ON THE FIELD IS AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT STORY, IT'S IZUKU MIDORIYA FROM THE HERO COURSE AGAINST THE CALM AND COLLECTED, HITOSHI SHINSO FROM GENERAL STUDIES! BACK TO YOU, BUDDY!~

After giving out the rules and offering both to start the match, Yuki and All Might watched from inside the tunnel, both anxiously waiting for Izuku to make his move, and thankfully Izuku listened to hers and Ojiro's warning of talking or doing anything reckless against Shinso as he flapped his gums. While no other sound was made other than the dark and gloomy student mouthing off beyond their ears, Yuki's eyes grew pale.

"No... don't..." Izuku ground his teeth, clearly what he was saying started to crawl under his skin, the second Shinso lifted a grin, Izuku's eyes flared with unbridled fury

"Don't talk about Yuki that way, you hear me!?" He took a charge, and the world silenced itself. Yuki felt her eyes lock with fear, while All Might scratched his head as to why Izuku stopped moving. It was true, so if you answer a question or reply in some way to Shinso he can completely lock down your own mind. He flashed a toothy grin

~THE FIGHT HAS JUST BEGUN AND IZUKU MIDORIYA IS... COMPLETELY FROZEN!?~

Yuki shook her head while disbelief filled her head, she couldn't believe it, he just offered himself up on a silver platter. One look from the emo-looking snake had Yuki dig her nails into her palms. "Now, turn around and walk out of bounds like a good little hero!" At his command, Izuku slowly turned his body back toward All Might and Yuki, both shocked at the sight as well as President Mic.

"What is this power...?" All Might gawked, just as a number of words struck Yuki in the side of the head, seeing All Might beginning to mutter and sweat on the spot. "Gah, what are you doing kid! Get back in there and show him what you're made of!"

Yuki took a gripping step toward the light, wincing as her throat sent a sharp pain down her body.

Warning | Medical Regeneration | Inconclusive

She knitted her teeth, she knew that, but she wanted to... she needed to... "I... I need..."

Warning | Medical Regeneration | Inconclusive

Izuku was wandering closer to the edge, Shinso would win. It wasn't fair, it couldn't end like this so why... why couldn't she speak!? Her throat continued to pulse while her hand instinctively grabbed her throat, coughing as her hand held the side of the entrance, All Might watching her struggle in vain.

Out of sheer agony overloading her nerves, Yuki squeezed her eyes shut, still unable to say a word at all. She'd had given up her already restored organs or limbs just to tell him to stop. Cupping her hands together she took a deep breath and did her best to call out to Izuku in any way she could.

"I know you can't hear me... but please... I'm begging you, just stop before its too late you idiot!" While unable to scream it, her mind damn well rattled her own subconscious as a wave of air shoved her and All Might back, his arm wrapping around Yuki to stabilize her

After a long, anxious moment, all of it cleared with the cheers of those above, Yuki pumped her fist into the air, All Might laughing next to her. Izuku snapped out of it at the last possible moment, he broke both his fingers with the shock to knock him out of the trance. Not bad. Turning back around, he glared back at Shinso, storming toward him with his fists clenched.

Shinso did all he could to get Izuku to open his mouth but the look on his face was clear, Izuku knew what Shinso felt, not being able to be a hero with a flashy Quirk, to always be jealous of others' power, Yuki felt the same, she too knew the feeling of being in the shadows of others, to never amount of anything other than the norm. For Izuku's sake, he had to grit and bear the pain of silence, just as Yuki knew all too well.

Izuku grabbed Shinso, earning a punch to the head, not hesitating he locked his hands to Shinso, continuing to push him closer to the edge of the arena despite Shinso' efforts to stop him dead in his tracks. He lost it, punching Izuku's broken fingers while shoving him around and closer to the edge again, he cried out in anger as Shinso did the same out of rage, he locked his hands to Izuku's shoulder and collar, throwing him down while Izuku locked his hand around his forearm, screaming at the pain of using his broken fingers while locking his off-hand to his chest.

With all the power he had, Izuku used the exact same move he used on Kacchan and slammed Shinso's legs out of bounds, and Yuki, after a pregnant pause, silently cheers with a jump at the crowd going wild for the short but heated battle.

While Yuki wanted to go and congratulate Izuku on his match, and to hit him for stressing her out, she had to focus on her own match now lined up on the board. There wasn't much time left to start doubting herself or worrying about issues rising among the others. However, Izuku broke free of Shinso's mind control she'd probably get an answer or two later.

*Thud*

"Watch it!" The angsty, familiar voice snapped to Yuki who rubbed her arm. Coming to face Todoroki once more, only now he looked ready to knock her lights out if she did something or didn't move aside, but from his darkened eyes it was clearly something else

"Such raw anger..." 'Hey, Todoroki, I know it's none of my business but... are you okay?' Reading her note he took in a deep breath to relax, but his scowl remained, hands balled up

"Peachy," He blinked, seeing her blunt expression with her arms crossed. "You have a match, don't you?" Her fingers tapped a non-existent watch, indicating she had time, and while he wasn't in the mood to deal with her nosy nature he couldn't help but feel a little less furious. "My dad..."

Yuki rolled her eyes, shaking her head. "I know, that bastard thinks he has me on some leash, that I can't win without his power..." Todoroki closed his eyes, trying to stay somewhat calm. "I know what I said before so don't look at me like that just because you have it all figured out, you tell me how I'm supposed to simply let go of years of this vow I made?" He opened his eyes at the strange sensation on his right arm, seeing her hand grasping his forearm

'I told you, it's not my place, but you were gifted with a powerful Quirk, fire, and ice. It has your mom's sharp, and focused blizzard and your dad's wild, and untamed inferno' She let go of his arm, offering a simple gaze of understanding, if she was honest, she was jealous she didn't have an elemental Quirk, but SIVA was awesome in his own right. Her two fingers tapped against his heart, handing him a final note as she was called to the arena. 'But there's only one person who can tame and rival both with a new kind of indomitable spirit, take a guess who that is ;)'

~ALRIGHT, MOVE IT HOTSHOT, THIS ONE'S MINE! AHEM, FOR OUR SECOND MATCH OF THE DAY, SHE'S AS VERSATILE AS SHE IS KIND, THE CUTE MUTE HERSELF, YUKI AZURU VERSUS THE WHISPERER OF THE EARTH, THE IMMOVEABLE OBJECT, JURA NAKAMI!~

Even while the crowd went into ballistics, Yuki was glad her mask covered her face, because she really wished her mom wasn't commentating today of all days. Squirming a little Yuki cracked her knuckles and did a few stretches to limber up just like Jura, his face brimming with excitement as a kid would be in a candy store.

His heterochromia eyes sparked with a desire to fight, while Yuki finished her stretches, tapping her boots off the ground. "I've wanted to fight you head on for weeks, now I get my chance! You're really fast, Yuyu, wish your Quirk appeared when we were younger though," His eyes blinked, quickly waving his arms frantically. "Ah, sorry, I didn't mean to-"

Her hand rose, nodding with understanding, she did wish she and SIVA met long ago, perhaps... she could have... no. Clenching her fists, Yuki pulled herself into a stance, eyes narrowed. Jura saw this, chuckling with his eyes closed while letting his hands rest by his sides. "You never were one to talk, even back then, but I get it, right now we're enemies, right?" Her head nodded once. "Then let's see which of us is stronger. Metal or Earth!"

With a hand raised beside her right eye, red lightning formed, crackling in the air as the crowd 'awed' at the sight of the letters jutting through the air. 'BRING IT' Scored the sky, bringing Jura into a fire of unhinged glory, and exciting Yuki's heart. President Mic went crazy, bringing a soft, humorous huff to Yuki, she knew that would rile them up.

~YUKI JUST CHALLENGED JURA HEAD ON! I'M GETTING GOOSEBUMPS FROM HERE!~

Izuku watched with his class, eyes trained while Izuku cupped his hands, lips pressed thin. All Might sat in his chair, leaning forward with inquisitive eyes. Mr. Aizawa watched too without a word as Yuki's mom and President Mic continued their commentary. Up in the stands, the Flame Hero crossed his arms, glaring down specifically at the girl she saw commune with Shoto. Said boy also watched from the tunnels, feeling the energy in the air of the arena.

~WHENEVER YOU'RE READY! LET THE MATCH BEGIN!~

SIVA | Enhance | Fifteen Percent

After all her training she had increased her power cap, no longer strained at using this amount of power. Again, her hands and feet changed alongside her crackling aura and menacing eyes, her mask releasing a low growl of some feral animal. Jura smirked, flicking his hands forward in an instant. Rising from the sides of the stage came two four-by-four meter pillars, bending like vipers as they collided with Yuki, creating dust and rubble.

~RIGHT OFF THE BAT, YUKI AZURU IS CRUSHED BEFORE EVEN TAKING A STEP-~

~HEHE, IF YOU REALLY BELIEVE THAT... THEN TELL ME HOW SHE GOT THIS FAR?~

From the cloud of dust, Yuki sprung forward, boots against the retracting stone as her muscles broke the rock, sending her hurtling toward Jura who sent forth another column of stone, Yuki slid under it, hopping back to her feet to block with both arms toward the left, a stone column striking her, with her right arm craned back she slammed her fist into the stone, shattering it. Behind her she flipped into the air, landing atop another wall, followed by the same flip twice to avoid two more solid pillars of stone.

"He can change their trajectory mid-launch now, but I'm faster!" Yuki jumped, firing several blasts of energy that struck the base of a stone pillar, taking Jura high into the air while he flicked his wrist, three more summoned down in a B-line for the nano-charged girl. Taking off in a sprint, Yuki spun to her right, claws sinking into the pillar that rose in vain to block her jump, instead, she used the momentum to ride higher than Jura, his eyes widened at her sudden appearance

He grinned, the two pillars from before circled round and struck the air, having missed her by inches as two blasts struck Jura directly, blinding him in black and red smoke. He swung left, locking a forearm with Yuki while the tower they stood on descended, so with a pivot of her foot she swept Jura off his feet, slamming her shin against his stomach, planting him firmly into the arena floor.

Jura coughed, dividing the arena with a wall to provide breathing room. Again, he gasped, feeling a fist sink into his abdomen as Yuki charged through the wall, thanks to Kacchan throwing her through the ones during their training she had an idea of the force needed to break concrete. With a pulse blast from her forearms, Jura was sent sprawling across the arena, the crowd practically shook the ground with Yuki standing tall while the walls crumbled back into their places.

~WHAT A SHELLSHOCKING PERFORMANCE BY YUKI AZURU! HER POWER IS OFF THE CHARTS, HOW IS THIS LEGAL!?~

"Hahaha, you really are amazing, Yuyu! Definitely feel bad for those villains that attacked you," Jura clapped, standing up to face her glare once more. He wiped his lip clean of some blood, his own eyes finally darkening under his short locks. "But I think it's time I start acting serious, right?" One nod was all he needed, with that being Yuki's mistake

"Crap!" Her head spun around, barely scratching the face of a sudden protrusion of rock, another crushed her against the floor, having launched from below. It retracted without allowing her time to adjust before a third crashed against her side, tossing her into a large wall that slammed her back into the ground. "He got faster at summoning, but the stone isn't as thick, so his reactions are growing based on the mass?"

He smirked with a toothy smile.

"Jura Nakami"

"Quirk: Earthborne"

Jura can control one-by-one meters of rock by sending them flying from the ground as pillars he can direct, but the moment he breaks concentration on them they will retract to their original plot of land. He can control their distance too, and the larger the meters squared the more energy it takes to move them!

"Here it comes!" He slapped his fist into his open palm, and Yuki felt the world shift sharply. "Everwyrm!"

Several shadows loomed above Yuki, eight pillars came hurdling down in a cage fashion, striking the ground while Yuki ran up their lengths, hopping from one to the next as they took each other out. The curve had started to even out, but her feet slipped and she slammed her back into the retracting stone, while the eighth collided, pushing her through a pillar while her arms screamed from the impact, her spine following suit as two pillars flattened her, one from above and below.

They released her, arms struggling to pull her feet under her. The crowd continued to cheer them on, with many distinct voices reaching her ears, igniting the flow of SIVA within her heart.

"Come on, Yuki!" The boys cried out, say for Kacchan and Todoroki

"You can do this!" The girls followed right after the boys

"Win this! Beat him! Come on, YUKI!" Izuku...

Jura shielded his eyes from the sun, smiling toward her friends. "Man... they're amazing, I can hear my own calling me out too, really gets your blood pumping again, right?" Yuki huffed at his words, finally standing back up on her own two feet, facing Jura who was breathing heavily himself. "Even after my special attack you still got up? You're something else from the sassy girl I know from way back."

He held out a finger, smiling simply. "Oh, but you missed." Yuki's warnings blared, her arms outstretched to keep two walls twice as large from crushing her, feet sliding while her hands struggled against the force of the stone that had her locked. If Jura wanted, he'd throw one more pillar to knock her out, the match would end.

"Just give up and I'll let you go, don't and I'll do it myself, Yuyu." His kind voice offered her, but all he received was her deadly glare, faltering as she squeezed her eyes shut, sweating while holding back the stone columns that inched closer to crushing her

"I... can't... he's... too strong!" Yuki cried out to SIVA, her arms beginning to buckle while the lightning coursing through her veins started to dim, her aura flickering at Jura's slow stride toward her. Each footstep echoed, and every heartbeat racked in her ears. She felt... alone... "I'm sorry... Izuku..." Her eyes slammed shut, and her arms started to give weigh

Beep... Beep... Beep... Beep...

Each time she heard that aggravating noise her eardrums felt like bursting. The walls were a particular shade of blue, mocking her own hair with their dull color. From what Yuki could see with one eye was that her surroundings haven't changed, nor did she expect them too. She was stuck here, forever wasting valuable equipment and time of doctors and nurses.

Sure, they assured her it wasn't her fault. Everything was never her fault, right? It wasn't her fault she was like this, it wasn't her fault for distracting her parents, of course, it wasn't, why would that ever be the case? A ghost of a laugh escaped her lips, no voice followed, but warm, fresh tears did. It... was... her fault...

They didn't tell her directly, expecting her to be unable to cope with the news of her injuries, but losing your whole family had already taken away her feelings for... anything light. She found her notes. Her left leg from the knee down was gone, that was obvious when she wore up, and no right hand, just to make it worse. She lost her right eye too, lots of internal scarring but nothing fatal, but excessive movements would cause them to become life-threatening. Numerous broken bones of course. And the cherry on top? A rough scar across her throat, disabling her sobbing to whimpers like a dog, any attempt to speak was met with agony beyond breaking a bone or two.

Her life, as she could visibly see, had become a living hell, she lost everything and death thought it fair to let her live. Every day she wanted to just.. die, to stop living and be with her parents, to wake up from this nightmare and never return to a world that forsook her at each turn of her life. Yuki was gone, what she was wasn't the same girl that smiled, laughed, sang, and hugged everyone in sight, if she was still here, even she couldn't crack a smile.

Error | Host | Critical

Yuki's eye cracked open, looking around the room for the robotic and strange accent. Her room was empty, say for the machine beeping next to her.

Host | Critical Care | Begin Regeneration?

Her eye widened a little, heart rate jumping at the voice... inside her head. While unable to move, her lips parted and she winced as she tried to speak. Sighing after the pain faded, she tried again. "Who are you?"

Directive One | Nanotechnology | SIVA

She might have lost her mind, but she didn't care. "SIVA? Funny name for a funny-sounding voice."

Russian | Previous Host | Deceased

Directive Ten | New Host | Acquired

"You mean me?" It didn't answer, but a funny sensation tickled her neck, and she heard it say 'yes' without saying anything. She sniffed, without a voice she only had the memory of her pitch to voice her woes. "Am I crazy? Are you... just apart of my head?"

SIVA | Is | Us

Again, something struck her heart, and upon blinking she winced as the bandages around her right eye irritated the skin underneath. She couldn't pick away at it as the hours went by, SIVA never spoke nor did Yuki try to talk as nurses came to check on her, noticing Yuki irritated by her bandages. After taking them off, the noticed her skin had turned red but said it was a rash and they left her alone soon after with some cream for her skin.

Optical Nerves | Repaired | Open

Yuki finally heard the mystery voice speak. So with her left eye open she found no real change in... her eye... she could see out her right eye... she... could see again... "W-What...?" Her hand gingerly rubbed her eyelid, blinking to fully take in the lights and colors with her eyes fully intact. Tears slowly trickled down her face again, both eyes releasing a dam she never realized remained. "How... how did you... what did you do...?"

Nanotechnology | Replicate Stem Cells | Repair Optical Nerves

It did more than a simple repair, it gave her a brand new eye! She laughed silently, wiping away tears with only one hand. Yuki didn't realize it, but from that day on she would come to learn from SIVA, trust in its power and logic to get her through her time in solitude. They would teach each other over the months and soon, leave behind a bleak world Yuki hated with spite.

Even without a voice, SIVA could hear her thoughts, and so, she asked only one thing, perhaps the last words she would have spoken given her circumstances. "Can I laugh again?"

Yes | You | Can

Host | Us | Together

Her eyes snapped open, feeling the darkness of the walls starting to close in as Jura came closer, a pillar following slowly behind him with each step. Yuki glared back, her claws digging into stone to form her fists again. "I've always been thrown through Hell, and SIVA was always there for me, he still is."

Warning | Power Exceeded | SIVA Density Critical

Yuki's energy bubbled through her skin, the bolts of hot red burning through the stone, creating enough dust to shroud herself from the cameras and eyes. She heard Jura jump back, the pillars crumbling away while Yuki bit her tongue and continued to increase her surge of overwhelming power through-out her body.

"Consume... Enhance... Replicate!" She felt skin boil as her nerves shuddered at the flurry of hot and cold air. "Come on, Grow stronger! Become... Indomitable!"

~I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON DOWN THERE BUT SOMETHINGS HEATING UP FOR JURA!~

The smoke finally cleared with a large wave of hot air. lightning continued to hiss at the ground, but what held the world in stunned silence was the sound of metal groaning. Yuki stood before Jura, eyes bright red with a large horn atop her left temple, the mask jagged with metal spreading down half her neck. Her entire left leg had converted to black metal with red, triangular lines across the edge, white fabric merged with her gym clothes.

Her right arm had also completely transformed, a large pauldron of the same make as her SIVA armor. Both extra arms had appeared too, alongside a large, torn red cape attached to her back, displaying a white symbol of unknown origins as it breezed in the wind she created.

"Now this is SIVA... at the tipping point of my control!" Yuki's thoughts were starting to fill with static, having only around a minute before SIVA lost control. But she smiled, that was enough time, and she had six limbs to break before she was down for the count! She struggled to maintain focus, but with a shake of her head she pushed aside her thoughts of anything else

SIVA | Enhance | Fifty Percent

"SIVA. Enhance. Fifty Percent!"

~INSANITY! YUKI AZURU BROKE APART JURA NAKAMI'S LOCK ON HER IN SECONDS! SHE LOOKS READY TO GO ALL OUT IN THIS CLASH OF METAL AND EARTH!~

President Mic's enthusiastic voice got the crowd going again, the whistles and clapping from all sides filling their ears as Jura backed up a little, sweatdropping at the low growl from Yuki's mask. "Oh... you were finally getting serious, huh? Well... this is bad?"

From Class 1-A's seats, Izuku stared back at Yuki, nearly dropping his notebook at the familiar tingle across his back. He had seen her go this far to win before against Nomu and ended up with severe injuries, but her power output looked far greater than before. Without thinking Izuku put his hands on the banister, gulping as Yuki never moved an inch."Yuki..."

"Isn't that the same power she used to help Mr. Aizawa?" Iida inquired but one shake from Izuku drew all their murmurs to him

"No... this is much more powerful than the last time. Yuki wasn't nearly this strong when she fought Nomu either," Some of them gasped, turning their attention back to their mute friend who held her arms out wide, head lifted to the sky. "But if she keeps this up for too long she'll... ah, um, Yuki might pass out from overuse!" Izuku quickly recovered. He held a frown to his features, hand close to his chest. "I know you can do this, Yuki! SIVA!"

"UURAAAGH!"

With a deathly howl from the mask, Yuki's head snapped down at Jura, just as his cheeks puffed out, hands twitching before him. "I won't let you win, Yuyu! Earth... Dreadnaught!" The crowd screamed together while the earth tore itself apart, numerous stone pillars snaking high and toward Yuki who stomped with her left foot, the force applied overturning the floor behind her while her body soared with a screech of sound.

A sharp pain struck Yuki's leg at the jump, but her body passed by several of the stone columns that collided in the air, too many of them kept blocking the other, freeing Yuki's movement further. Her eyes snapped to the left, using her right leg to propel off the surface of two stone columns, again, she felt her bone break, while blood spilled from between her teeth. She didn't give in and flew past more protrusions with ease.

"SIVA is my power... I can control him... no thinking... just tear apart the walls... overwhelm him...!" Most of the pillars then came together at either side, forming a floating corridor between her and the nervous Jura, his foot edging closer to the line

"Dammit, I'm boxed in!" His eyes snapped to Yuki, feeling her glowing gaze harden on his own eyes. "Hehehe... oh no..."

With both extra arms, they tore into the closing stone, her body skating through with ease as her body spun at a sudden jolt, her lower right arm breaking. Jura twisted his fingers, tossing the last of the pillars to block Yuki's assault. He saw it, her legs couldn't handle the pressure and broke, she couldn't stop herself now, and this wall was ten meters thick.

"Perfected Divide!" Yuki's whole body spun back around, her lower left arm snapped after using the edge of the corridor to break into a spin. Her left leg came hurdling horizontally across the wall, shattering the stone with a single kick that not only broke her leg but tore down the wall between her and Jura, his eyes wide with horror

Jura coughed, struggling to stand upright as he fired off a final pillar from behind him, he smiled, seeing Yuki's legs twitch irregularly from breaking. While he didn't like how she was breaking her body to win, he admired her tenacity to win, but this was over now. "Sorry, Yuyu."

The pillar completely disintegrated before the world's eyes, an uproar occurred as Jura saw the sly stare on Yuki's mask, she slammed her feet into the ground, blowing away the rubble and splitting the slabs apart to clear the way for her right fist. "Perfected Detriot... SMASH!" Twisting her waist Yuki slammed her fist against his stomach, seeing spit fly by as her friend was thrown several meters away onto the tarmac, coughing while he passed out.

~SHE DID IIIIIIT! WITH THE VERY WORLD AGAINST HER OVERCAME THE MOUNTAIN AND CLAIMED VICTORY. THE WINNER IS YUKI AZURU!~

While the crowd let out their praise and glory, Midnight directed the Med-bots to Jura, while Yuki fell to her knees, holding up her still intact left fist just as All Might would do, and the crowd loved it. SIVA finally deactivated, leaving Yuki to cough blood with her legs, and arm completely purple from breaking multiple bones. A few of her clusters and Recovery Girl could mend that, hopefully.

"We did it... SIVA, thank you," Yuku put a hand over her heart, having the Med-Bots come to her as Midnight helped her onto the bed. She gave a wink and the hero smiled

"You did very well, Yuki, now rest well for your match with your boyfriend, hehe." Midnight winked cheekily and the bots took her away, all while steam rose from Yuki's mask

"B-B-Boyfriend!? Midnight you meanie~!" With her good hand, Yuki covered her face from the world, not wanting to face anyone for the remainder of the day

"Ahh... my bones how I missed your non-clicking against my flesh!" Yuki sighed while wiggling her toes, bandages wrapped around her legs, arm, exposed stomach too since the impact of her robotic arms did leave some lacerations on her sides. So she sat in her shorts and sports bra, mask still on while SIVA shimmered through-out her body every-now-and-then. She held a thumbs up to Recovery Girl, earning a cane to the head

"While I'm glad you haven't had such serious injuries in a long time, that doesn't give you the excuse to break your body as you please!" Yuki quickly sat upright, bowing her head while flicking a few locks from her mask. Recovery Girl sighed but smiled, patting Yuki's knee. "Well done I suppose, now rest easy, you can enjoy the matches now until the second round."

Complying with her orders, the door then swung nearly off its hinges. Izuku and All Might came barreling into the room, surprisingly, they did not wake Jura who was still passed out, snoring away. Izuku was the first to rush over to her side. "Yuki!" He cried out, practically tackling her into a tight hug as the two lost their balance and fell backward onto the bed, legs hanging off as Yuki returned the hug, trying to keep the words Midnight said out of her head, but her body felt warm all over at his hold

He pulled away after hearing All Might chuckle, both teens blushing while Yuki sat up, Izuku sat beside her while she slowly stretched. "You did really well, kid, both of you - I am so proud of you both!" He praised, walking over to pat them both on the head, the two sharing prideful looks. He then took his hands and bashed their heads together. "And what were you thinking when you went beyond your limits!? You... swore you'd never do that without good reason!"

Yuki didn't have a retort, while Izuku wondered in a daze as to why he got hit too. Yuki had used fifty percent but she really could have won with thirty at most. Was it pure instinct or the memory that drove her. With a look at her hand, she pondered on the hand that once was gone, closing her hand. 'I'm sorry, All Might, I... think I just got too heated, but I kept control, I swear, and if I started to feel as though I would I was going to drop the match'

"What, seriously?" Izuku gaped but didn't mean to sound so disappointed. "Sorry." Yuki just flicked his nose with a calm stare

'I know I have a promise to keep, but I won't endanger lives for the sake of glory' Her gaze fell on Jura for a moment then the solemn moment was ruined by a new voice

"Found you!" Yuki paled and All Might froze up. All while Recovery Girl spun around on her chair with a chuckle. Izuku felt a child-like grin spread across his face at the sight of the hero with a toothy grin. "Ooooh, I got goosebumps still, hehehe!"

The woman stood around as tall as Mr. Aizawa, unlike other heroes at the Festival, she didn't wear her costume. Instead, the woman wore a short-sleeve, silver jacket, a red shirt underneath with a tooth necklace a black choker necklace above that. Her black jeans were ripped at the knees with sharp, black boots with red laces. There was a decorative, silver scale cloth wrapped around her left hip, with a white fur lining around the top.

Eyes of deep blue stared back with long, silver hair, a tiny hue of red tinting her locks, two longer locks resting at either side of her head like Yuki's. Her hands had small, silver scales on the backs of her palms, with some dotting the sides of her neck too. With a dive, she bound over all the beds and pulled Yuki into a tight hug, swinging the slightly aching girl around while she blinked at the sudden embrace.

"It really is her...! The Sky Comet Hero, Valstrax!" Izuku caught the woman's attention, her arms letting Yuki go while she breathed heavily, holding onto All Might for support. Izuku never left Valstrax's gaze, his face full of wonder. "The hero that despite not being in the top ten is known for her breathtaking speed and powerful attacks from the sky that can put fighter jets to shame! You single-handedly saved twenty people from a burning building in only thirty seconds!"

Said hero took a bow, kneel down to meet him eye-level. "Thirty-seven actually. And you certainly are well versed in heroes as Yuki told me, Midoriya," That reply made his gears turn out steam while looking to Valstrax waving cheekily then to Yuki who rubbed the back of her head shyly. He might as well faint right now, grabbing Yuki by her shoulders

"Your Mom is the Sky Comet Hero!? Miss Azuru!?" Izuku blurted out, Yuki's eyes dancing while trying to hand him a note

'U-um... heh, whoops' She shrugged, and Izuku spun around and started bowing his head, making Yuki's mom laugh, patting Izuku's back

"Ha! I love this kid, definitely worth-" Yuki slammed a hand over her mon's face, thankful for the mask hiding her furious cheeks while Akame pulled her hand away, smiling honestly. "My adorable daughter's antics aside, a pleasure to meet you, Mirodriya, and now that we're in person, thank you, for everything you've done for my little flower." Akame hugged Yuki close, ruffling her hair. "Bet she's been quite the chore, I know for a-" A fist collided with the woman's face, the fire raging behind Yuki prominent before the middle-aged hero. "Cool your jets, I'm just messin'."

He smiled anxiously, blurting out incoherent nonsense while trying to be modest. "I-I, well, it's really, um, thanks to Y-Yuki, she's the reason I've gotten so, um, far today."

Akame was grateful for Izuku, seeing him and her daughter interact as they did now that she let her go. With Izuku asking questions while writing them down in his journal, while Yuki provided answers via notes, their eyes wide and movements filled with joy. She was a great hero, but she struggled as a mother, it wasn't all bad, but as she told him weeks ago, those first few months weren't easy.

A pat to her back jumped the Pro out of her daze, blinking back at All Might who offered a welcoming grin, his eyes focused on the two teens writing stuff down about Akame. "They've grown, Yuki has someone to trust, and Mirdoriya has a friend who will be his partner through-out this long journey, you gave her a new life, don't feel as though you've failed," He motioned to them both. "This is proof of your love for her, anyone can see that clearly."

Softly, the hero chuckled to herself, crossing her arms. "You've been there too, Toshinori, but thank you," "You've gotten a great Successor, one who's full of happiness and selflessness as from what I've seen and Yuki has told me. I only hope he'll continue to be there for her, that's my only wish." "Well, I gotta go, Mummy Man isn't going to lighten up with just Mic alone, peace!" Akame zipped away as quickly as she appeared

All Might clapped his hands with a proud smile. "Now then, let's get you two back to your class, there's alot more you can take away from watching others fight, but don't strain yourself, Yuki." She waved her hand at him, clearly tired of hearing it while Izuku led her out, hand wrapped around hers without hesitation as the adults watched the two wander out, seeing the happiness on their faces

Yuki felt her hold on Izuku's hand tighten, her heart fluttering while he led her back outside, a smile dawning his face that had her enthralled to his pull, her body moving with a skip. "Izuku... I..." Her eyes locked to the sky above, a soft smile on her shrouded lips. "...I hope I'm not wrong... someday... I'd like to know if this is real..."

To Be Continued...

I loved writing Yuki's fight, it was so much fun! And it's only gonna get better as I try and debate the route of the tournament, and Yuki's mom is just gonna be a ton of fun when she appears later down the line, this was a little surprise to her wild personality if her comments with a mic weren't a big hint. I hope you enjoyed, seeya in the next chapter, Plus Ultra!
