I plopped down onto the bench, drenched in exhaustion. "How the kriff are you going to fix this mess?" Reese chuckled, amused at the impending chaos. "What can she do?" Bella finally spoke up, countering Reese's boldness with her meekness. "She's just a clone, no power in the Senate nor in the war, nothing more than a pawn." She cried, her negativity drowning me. "I need a vacation." I hung my head in my hands. "You okay? Rue sat down at the table, causing the two to disappear. "No." I barely managed to look at her. "How could I be okay after last night?" I felt helpless, pitiful, I hated it, Reese hated it, Bella loved it. "I just feel so… betrayed." Rue looked down, as if she were contemplating my words. "You okay Shorty?" Wrecker asked in a half worried, half teasing tone. "For forces sake can people stop asking us that?" Reese spat, her fury turning into my fury. My eye twitch with irritation, I wanted to deck him. "Do it." Reese caught on, a mischievous grin lighting up her face. "Let me do it for you." She whispered in my ear, taking advantage of my weakness. I glared at her as she stood behind Wrecker, daring me to make a move. I would never let her take over. "Aww, what's wrong? Cat's got your tongue?" Wrecker pushed the one button of sanity I had left, Reese took over.
