I do not own one piece and my apologies for such a late chapter, I was enjoying life.
"We're finally here!" Vivi cheered.
Karue nodded his agreement before quacking about something. "He says he needs some water." Chopper told her.
"Shouldn't we send him back to get Jay?"
Karue squawked angrily. "He says no." Chopper informed her.
Vivi sighed. "Fine, let's go to a bar, we should be able to get some water there."
Inside the bar…
"I lost." Smoker growled. "His flames overpowered me!" He slammed down a cup of beer, smoke escaping his mouth. "Is this all I amount to here on the grand line?! Not only that, we lost the strawhats!"
"Hey, don't worry about it. Ace is just really strong, he's already traveled throughout New world. There's no way you would've beat him when we just barely made it into paradise." Kura assured him.
"I've heard stories about powerful pirates but I didn't think there was anyone that could beat our Captain." Tashigi cut in, her blade glowing yellow as her eyes narrowed. "I'll have to work harder if I want to retrieve all the blades from those criminals."
Smoker pushed his cup away. "Training is all we can do now, I refuse to lose to that pirate again!"
"Um excuse me, can my friend here get some water?" A voice asked as she took a seat next to the trio.
"Of course." The man behind the counter answered. "The duck right? Where have I seen him before?"
Before Vivi could answer, Chopper scrambled on to the chair and peaked his head out over the counter. "Could I please have some too?"
Kura gasped. "Chopper!"
"How do you know my n-"
"You're so much cuter in person!" She screamed as she swept the creature into a hug. "When I imagined what'd you look like in real life I imagined a freak or some sort of abomination but you're actually adorable!"
Chopper looked over to Vivi for help. As much as he liked the compliments, he was freaked out by some random human girl yelling in his ear.
"Um could you please put him down?" Vivi asked politely.
Kura took one look at her and set the reindeer down. "It's really you, I mean I knew you were a princess but this skin…" Kura held out her hand. "My name is Kura, nice to meet you Vivi."
"That's where I recognized you guys from!" The bartender realized. "You've returned, everyone said you went into hiding because of what most people think your father did."
Vivi sighed. "Can we talk about this somewhere else?" She asked Kura. "Judging from the fact that you know me even though we never met, I can assume you're not from around here, are you?"
Kura looked around seeing a crown begin to form, some people being harsh towards the newly discovered princess, while others defended her. Eventually it erupted into a brawl. "Um sorry about that, let's head out for now."
Smoker sighed. "You're more trouble than you're worth."
"It'll be fine as long as they're not pirates." Tashigi added, causing the reindeer to sweat.
Elsewhere, I blinked forward for the tenth time since I started my run, it was taking really long to cross the desert and the heat wasn't helping a bit. 'I wonder how things are going for the others.' I thought. 'Since I'm not there, they shouldn't be recognized by Smoker.'
Back at Rainbase.
"Once again, I'm sorry about the trouble I caused back there." Kura apologized.
"It's fine." Vivi assured her.
"How do you know these guys, Kura?" Tashigi asked. "You called her a princess right?"
Kura gestures to Vivi as if to tell her to speak up. "I'm the princess of this country." Vivi told them. "I was undercover in a secret criminal organization but I've returned to stop Crocodile from taking over my home."
"Crocodile?" Smoker asked. "You mean the warlord?"
"Figures." Tashigi scoffed. "Once a pirate, always a pirate."
"Not all pirates are bad." Chopper mumbled, something that only Smoker heard but chose to ignore.
"Anyway, Crocodile is the head of the organization that I've infiltrated, I need to take him down before he causes any more harm to my country." Vivi told them.
Smoker breathed out a trail of smoke. "What makes you think you could take on a warlord, alone?"
"I'm not alone." Vivi gestured towards chopper and Karue. "I have these two, they're both pretty strong."
"Really?" Smoker looked back at Kura. "Test them."
Kura nodded as she sent a kick at Karue just for him to disappear from sight, ending up behind her and kicking her lightly, causing her to fall.
Vivi giggled and went on. "Even if I was alone, I'd still have to try."
Kura got up, dusting herself off. "He was never this fast, what the hell are you feeding him? And by that I mean, what fruit did you give him?"
Vivi shrugged. "I don't know, Jay never told me."
Kura inspected the duck.

"So that's what it is, it's the speed speed fruit, such a convenient outcome."
"Can we get back to the whole taking down a warlord thing? Do you want our help?" Tashigi asked, a little excited to finally put someone of worth in impel down.
"I wouldn't mind the help, as long as there's some sort of plan."
"Then we'll help." Smoker decided. "We wouldn't be marines if we didn't help those in need."
"So what's the plan?" Chopper asked.
"We still have to find Gem, so we need a way to lure Crocodile away from the casino." Vivi explained.
"I can handle luring him away." Smoker offered as they went over the rest of the plan.
An hour later.
"Mr. 5, it was disappointing to hear that you switched sides." Crocodile chuckled.
Gem was locked inside of a cage underneath the casino. "How'd you find out?"
Crocodile grinned. "I had my suspicions, you've confirmed them for me."
"That's not really an answer? We have all the time in the world." Gem reminded him.
"It's simple, the unluckies haven't returned and there's no way you'd be able to kill Mr. 3 before he got to you. Explosion or otherwise."
"So what happens now?"
"Now? I elected to feed you to the gators but taking your devil fruit into consideration, I figured it'd be better to watch you drown in a sea stone cage."
"There are worse ways to die." Gem shrugged. "You think I could maybe get some kind of last meal?"
Crocodile laughed. "Nice to see you still have a sense of humor even in your last moments, the party has already begun but I'm afraid we forgot to add catering."
"Damn, I was really looking forward to some good food." Gem sighed.
The water reached his feet as the room began to flood, that was when Crocodile got a call.
"Sir, they're attacking!" A voice yelled as Crocodile answered.
"Who's attacking?"
"The marines! Some crazy guy named Smoker is destroying all of our troops."
"Then take him down." Crocodile growled.
"We can't even hit him! Most of our shots just go through him, it's impossible!" The grunt yelled.
"Ms All Sunday!" Crocodile yelled as the woman in question stepped into the room.
"What is it?"
"I need to head out to deal with the marine threat, watch our prisoner." Crocodile ordered.
Sunday nodded. "Alright."
Crocodile's body flickered, turning into sand in an instant and disappearing from the room. Gem let out a small smile. "You know, I've always liked you. Think you could help me out of here?" He asked.
Sunday laughed. "I would but we barely even know each other. At least find out my name before you ask me on a date."
"Oh well." Gem said listlessly. "Worth a try."
Just upstairs was a group of three sitting at a table entertaining some guests. "Crocodile just left to confront the captain, we have to move now." Vivi told the other two.
"Tashigi, can you find out if Gem is here?" Kura asked.
Tashigi nodded. "No problem, I just need a description."
"Dark skin, and a long coat with the number five on it. He might be wearing sunglasses." Vivi described.
"That should be enough." Tashigi's eyes turned yellow as she slightly drew her blade. "Celestial search." Transparent yellow dragons burst from the steel and flew off.

"Hey this chick has a sword!" One of the guests yelled as the group was surrounded.
"Kura, all you." Tashigi called.
"Of course. You might want to cover your ears." Kura warned, waiting for the two to follow her advice. "Noble law, sleep." The moment the words left her mouth the surrounding crowd fell.
Vivi took her hands off her ear. "What the hell did you do?"
"It's a class skill." Kura told her. "I'm a World Noble, my word is law so to speak. If I command someone to do something they do it."
"So mind control?"
"Basically but they have to hear it for it to work and if their will is stronger than mine it won't work. " Kura explained.
"I found him." Tashigi called. "He's being held in a prison underneath the casino, it seems he's been found out."
"Alright." Kura answered. "Operation rescue is a go."
A voice could be heard as a cloud of smoke wrapped around another wave of baroque works. "You have pretty good control over your fruit, I'm impressed."
Smoker turned around to see a storm of sand reform into a man. "As a marine, I can't allow you to take over this island by force."
"The princess has filled you in." Crocodile realized. "That means she's here, I think I'll go find her after I deal with you. Though I'm curious, we're on the same side aren't we?"
Smoker took another puff of his two cigars, breathing out a cloud of smoke. "The marines don't condone island takeover, once you're captured your rank as a warlord will be taken away."
Crocodile followed Smoker's example, drawing smoke from his own cigar. "Kuahahaha! All that means is I can't get captured. I see you got a logia, tell me have you mastered intangibility?" Crocodile formed his hand into a blade of sand and slammed it into the ground. "Desert Spada!"
Smoker's body turned into smoke as the torpedo of sand passed through. "Enough to use it on command."
Crocodile grinned as his body turned into sand and fled away from the city, Smoker following along in a trail of smoke.
As Crocodile's body reformed in the desert, he spoke. "I haven't fought another logia user in quite awhile."
"I've had the pleasure of fighting one yesterday, if I remember correctly, he was once a warlord candidate."
"You'd better hope you learned something, Desert spear!"
"White dragon!" The two attacks collided leading to a massive shower of sand and a veil of smoke. "I learned that one from Tashigi."
Crocodile spit out his cigar letting the sand engulf it and put it out. "I'll have to take this seriously. Desert spada!"
Smoker jumped to the side, "White blow!"
Crocodile ducked underneath the attack and dashed forward, Smoker quickly settled into a defensive position as the two clashed. Smoker using his jitte and Crocodile with his hook. The warlord dragged the jitte to the side and thrust his palm into the marines chest which barely managed to turn to smoke. He followed up immediately with a kick causing Smoker to fall to his knees before bringing his hand back and making contact with Smoker's arm.
Smoker turned his entire body to smoke and jumped back, his dried arm hanging uselessly at his side. "Your sand allows you to drain moisture out of objects and people." Smoker noted. "I'm lucky I kept some water on me for the trip through the desert." Smoker brought out a pouch of water and poured it on his arm, watching it reform.
Crocodile chuckled. "If only you had a little more you could've used it against me, as it stands you have no way of touching me. This isn't a fight you can win."
"Hmmm. You might be right." Smoker transformed into smoke and flew at Crocodile. "White Launcher!"
Crocodile stood there with a cocky grin until he was slammed into the ground and he felt his strength leave him. "Seastone?"
"I've noticed from the moment we met outside the casino, you're overconfident. You believed you'd win simply because you had more experience. You didn't check everything." Smoker said simply.
Crocodile fought back, still having a great deal of strength despite the sea stone. "The reason I became a warlord isn't my strength but my intelligence." The floor beneath them grew soft as they both began to sink. "Desert Girasole, I've been holding the sand above the underground river with my devil fruit." Smoker jumped back, forced to back off so he wouldn't be buried underground. "Desert port!" Crocodile called as his body turned to sand and disappeared into the ground. Smoker tried flying into the air to avoid a ground attack but before he could turn to smoke his foot got grabbed and he was dragged underground. "Desert cavern." He heard as he fell into a large underground cave with the only light coming from the small hole above.
Smoker dusted himself off. "What's the point of dragging me underground? I can just fly out."
"You could, but you won't. Your allies are currently staging a breakout for 5, if you leave now I'll just head there and put them down. I'm not dumb enough to not realize when I'm being led away. Defeating me isn't the true objective, it's secondary, you just need to stall but you do want to win. You mentioned fighting a logia yesterday, you recently lost to Fire Fist Ace, you're bound to give into pride. Most men can't escape from the idea of proving themselves after failure, that's two reasons you won't leave. You're forced to fight at a disadvantage based on personality alone." Crocodile explained.
"How do you know I won't retreat? You couldn't possibly know that I'd give in to pride, I might be one of the few who escaped that idea. How are you so sure as to determine my personality?" Smoker asked.
"Simple, you followed a pirate into the grandline. You can't accept a loss." Crocodile answered. He got a lot of information from the unluckies and with his intelligence it wasn't hard to put it all together.
Smoker sighed. "You're right, I don't plan on running. I'll beat you even if I'm at a disadvantage, this however isn't really a disadvantage." Smoker took a puff from his cigars and blew the smoke out around the area letting it thicken and fill the room. "White world. You may be a logia but you still have to breathe, better hope you can end this fight quickly."
Crocodile spun the sand in his hand and let it fall to the ground. "Sables!" A cyclone of sand began to grow as Crocodile disappeared into the walls of sand.
Smoker jumped forward, turning into smoke and spinning. "White tornado!" The two attacks canceled each other out as Smoker stopped to listen. He heard sand being displaced from his left ear and jumped back as a huge blade of sand erupted from the ground.
"Desert Grande Espada." Crocodile said, his voice echoing around the cavern. "A blade of sand that erupts from the ground, so fast it'd be hard to dodge for any normal person."
"I have good ears." Smoker said calmly as he dodged another blade of sand.
"Do you now?" Crocodile asked.
A hand shot up from the ground rooting Smoker in place as a blade of sand shot from the wall aiming straight for his head. His body turned to smoke as the attack passed through and he flew into the air. Crocodile reformed from the blade of sand with a smirk, now behind the marine. "Barján!" He yelled as a crescent blade flew past Smoker's cheek leaving a cut that dried up part of his face.
Smoker turned around with a growl. "White snake!" Crocodile sidestepped the attack, grabbing Smoker's hand and pulling him in.
"Desert Encierro!" Crocodile yelled trying to make contact with Smoker's chest but Smoker quickly pulled up his jitte to block just for it to crumble in front of him. Smoker turned his leg into smoke kicking the tip of the jitte towards Crocodile draining his strength just as Crocodile's hand made contact.
"White rush!" The marine yelled as he hit Crocodile with a barrage of blows, sending him flying back.
As his strength returned he flipped in mid air touching the ground with his hand before disappearing into the wall and appearing outside the cavern. "Desert collapse!"
The cavern began to shake and sand filled the room from all around, Smoker quickly grabbed the broken half of the jitte and filtered the smoke around him. "White dome!" He felt strain on his ability as what was probably a couple tons of sand fell on top of him. "White Pillar!" A white pillar rose breaking through the sand allowing Smoker to fly out the cavern before he was buried alive. The moment he made it out he saw Crocodile in the sky gathering sand in the area. Smoker glanced around seeing four tornadoes of sand collapsing in on him, each spinning in a different direction. He used another white dome but when he let it down he saw the mass of sand above Crocodile's head.
"Desert meteor!" Crocodile shouted as he let the huge ball of sand fall. "Remember this Marine, no one can beat me in the desert!"
Those were the last words Smoker heard as he was buried underneath the sand, his fruit exhausted making it impossible for him to block.
Kura and Vivi followed Tashigi as she led the way to the underground prison. "Do we have a plan to get him out?" Tashigi asked.
"We just beat up the person guarding him, take the keys and open the cage." Vivi suggested.
"Yea simple." Kura laughed. "Though considering the person who's likely to be guarding him it'll be harder than it sounds."
Inside the underground prison sitting on the steps as the water slowly filled the room was Ms All Sunday. "Did you save the world in your past life?" She asked.
"Huh?" Gem responded.
"I asked if you saved the world, you have three really cute girls coming to rescue you with some half baked plan." Sunday giggled.
"Three girls?" Gem repeated. "It should be one girl and a guy wearing all black."
"I wouldn't know." She shrugged. "I'm just stating the facts, it kinda makes me feel good, surrounded by all these beautiful girls and yet you chose me."
"Right..." Gem responded dryly.
Sunday stood up. "Alright well, someone has to stop them. See you later." She said as she walked further up the stairs and disappeared from sight.
Gem sighed, the water had already reached his torso, he was barely able to stand with how weak he felt. 'If someone is coming to rescue me, it's be nice if they hurried up.'
Sunday walked out into the hall with a small smile. "You're being awfully loud, how's a girl going to get any sleep."
Kura sighed. "Thought you'd be here, shouldn't you be giving an antidote to Luffy right about now." A look of realization spread across her face as she turned to Vivi. "What idiot brought you here and where the hell is Luffy?!"
"Luffy?" Tashigi said questioningly. "Why would she be traveling with a pirate?"
Vivi shrugged. "Jay made us leave before we had the chance to get proper help from the others, it wasn't until we left when he told me they originally would've helped."
"You're traveling with pirates!" Tashigi yelled.
"Well the marines weren't helping." Kura told her. "It's like I keep telling you, not all pirates are bad."
"Well anyone that shares a crew with Zoro is automatically a horrible person." Tashigi protested.
Kura patted her on the back. "Okay, okay, he's a bad guy." She went on. "The main problem here is that Luffy was supposed to beat Crocodile. I knew Jay was an idiot from our brief encounter but this is another level."
"Isn't that Smoker guy fighting him?" Vivi asked. "Is he weaker than Luffy?"
Kura shook her head. "Smoker is a lot stronger than Luffy and he has his seastone weapon, he should be able to win, so long as he doesn't try to fight him in the middle of the desert."
"Um, you guys do realize the person you came to save is trapped in a room that's slowly filling up with water, and he's a devil fruit user." Sunday reminded them. "I don't mind if you want to continue talking but if you take too long, he's gonna drown."
"You know she's got a point." Kura told the two. "You guys hold her off, I'll go save him."
Sunday stepped to the side and let Kura walk past. "It's a sea stone cage, it's not like you can break it open."
Kura just smiled. "No worries Sunday, I can open it." She walked into the water filled room to see Gem up to his neck in water and a group of banana-gators pacing around the cage. 'This shouldn't be too hard.' She thought.
The ground trembled as a geyser of smoke blasted from the ground, reforming into a man. "Damn it! That's twice on one island!" The man huffed as he pulled out a box of cigars and lit two up. 'I need to take my training seriously, Strawhat is no longer the only pirate I'm hunting. First it's him, then it's Ace.' Smoker began looking around just to be immensely confused by the sight of a giant grab and what appeared to be the reindeer from earlier attempting to hide. "You know, you're facing the wrong direction right?"
"Ahh!" The reindeer yelled as he fixed his position and spoke. "You're called Smoker right? I found this guy so we can go pick up the others, Jay says after we get Gem we need to go to Alubarna."
"Jay? So you're working with pirates." Smoker accessed calmly as he picked up the broken pieces of his Jitte. 'It's gonna cost a lot to get this fixed.' He complained inwardly.
Chopper covered his mouth realizing his mistake. "Run!" He yelled at the crab.
Smoker let his smoke grow, capturing the Crab before it got too far away. "Don't worry, I don't plan on hunting you all yet. I can call a truce until Crocodile is dealt with." Chopper calmed down slightly, allowing the marine to board the crab though it still unnerved him. "Is Strawhat here as well?"
"No." Chopper answered timidly as the two set off back towards the city.
Kura breathed in deeply as she resurfaced after dealing with the crocodiles. "Jeez, if only Aria were here or if that idiot Jay brought that cute fishwoman. Where is he anyway? Shouldn't he be helping his crew?"
As she continued to think to herself she saw bubbles rising to the surface and remembered her task. She inhaled deeply before diving back into the water and swimming up to the cage. 'Wind sphere.' She breathed out creating a shield of wind that acted as a temporary pocket of air, it was a skill she bought from her shop. Used by breathing out large amounts of air and forming it into a bubble.
Gem took a deep breath. "Thanks, who are you? Is Jay alright?"
"My name is Kura and that idiot is fine, I think." She answered. "Please wait till we're out of here to speak, you're wasting the air." A window popped up as she scrolled through her options.
[Crocodile's key

A key to Crocodile's seastone cage. Can only be used once.]
"Found it!" She exclaimed happily as a key appeared in her hands. She unlocked the cage as the glass on either side of them shattered. "Damn it, we have to swim our way out of here. Which I realize that you can't do." She would've kept going if it wasn't for the fact that the wind sphere subsided and Gem's weight was added to her own as he lost all his strength.
'Why did I get stuck with this job?' She thought as she swam towards the surface.
Behind her back in the hall, the fight had just ended. Not in defeat or victory but rather a ceasefire. "I give up." Sunday announced. "I can't keep wasting my energy on a fight like this, I have places to be. If you guys let me walk away, you won't have to die."
"Huh?!" Tashigi yelled. "Why would I let you go?!"
"Um Tashigi, she's the one letting us go, Probably. She hasn't directly attacked us once and with a devil fruit like hers it isn't hard for her to incapacitate us. She's been playing around." Vivi told her. "I hate her much more than you do but it's better to live so we can save Gem."
Sunday giggled. "Look at you making the decisions, you truly are a princess. I'll see you guys later, oh right, before I go. The key I have is a fake, Crocodile keeps the real one."
Tashigi sheathed her blade before kicking the wall in frustration. "We've wasted our time."
The two walked into the room just to see it empty and filled with water. "They must've escaped through the tunnel." Vivi said.
"No, the glass was shattered. They swam out, we should hurry and meet them." Tashigi told her as she drew her blade slightly. "Celestial guide." She said as a dragon formed and flew off through the casino. "We just have to follow it, it'll lead us on the quickest path to Kura. It can track anyone that I've seen before as long as they aren't capable of suppressing their will."
Kura through Gem onto the ground. "Hey, you better wake yourself up. I'm not giving you cpr."
A small explosion went off on his chest as he sat up. "I don't need it, I can blow up my organs to get them moving." He told her as he coughed out water. "Thanks again, it feels good to finally be able to blow things up again."
Kura waved it off. "No problem, I'm a marine, helping people is what we do."
"Could've fooled me." Gem chuckled. "My hometown was taken over by a group of rotten marines, it's why I became an outlaw in the first place. I wanted to be a hero, until I realized they don't exist in this world."
"Wait really? That's so cool." She paused. "Not your hometown being taken over because that part is definitely not cool. What I meant is your backstory is cool, no I mean it's not cool it's just that I've never heard it before."
Gem stared at her in confusion. "You're a strange one. From now on, as thank you for saving my life, your group is one team of marines I've decided to trust. I may be a pirate now but I can guarantee you'll have no trouble with me." He laughed. "Outside of a couple explosions of course, Jay told me that explosions are art and I can't help but to paint a beautiful picture."
"Did he really quote Deidara?" Kura asked. "Such a weirdo, I personally would've quoted Megumin."
"Who?"
"Come now and walk the path of explosions with me!" Kura smiled. "Something like that, it would've been a great invitation to a crew."
"I give up." Gem decided. "You guys are too confusing."
"Hey guys!" Chopper yelled. "I brought help!"
"Chopper!" Vivi shouted as a small dragon disappeared in front of the group and she came running out from behind a corner along with Tashigi. "Gem! You're alive."
"I wouldn't die from something like that." He assured her.
"Now can we address the fact that they're pirates?" Tashigi asked, killing the vibe just to laugh. "Kidding, you guys are alright, as long as it isn't Zoro or Jay I think we can get along."
"What's wrong with Jay?" Kura asked. "Outside of the fact that he's an idiot."
"He had the nerve to call a fight between me and that swordsman a love spat." Tashigi complained.
"Oh, I was never the biggest fan of you two being shipped." Kura told her. "I always thought Zoro and Perona should get together, a strange quiet yet tolerable dynamic as opposed to the trademark tsundere route."
"The fucks a tsundere?" Gem asked.
While those three talked Vivi boarded the crab and nodded to Smoker who jumped down. "Hey Chopper, where's Karue?"
"He went off to find Jay, he said he'll meet us later."
Quick note: Giant crab with no eyelashes? Don't worry he doesn't die in the desert, he's saved. That chapter is next.
Smoker walked up to his surrounding squad and gave his orders to retreat before turning to Tashigi and Kura. "Let's go you two, we have work to do so we can get this properly processed."
"Um we decided." Kura stepped up. "We'd like to split up from here."
"I may not like pirates but I want to help them fight, I need to get stronger and taking down a criminal organization would be a great step forward." Tashigi cut in.
Smoker sighed. "You have disobeyed direct orders, you two are fired from my squad. Your rank will be taken away, you may work to keep the peace and work your way up the ranks but from now on you're nothing more than a foot soldier." He told them with a slight smirk. "Good luck you two."
Kura nodded gleefully. "Don't worry Tashigi, with my status as a noble we can skip our way straight to captain and get a ship as long as we can catch someone worth 50,000,000." She whispered.
Tashigi bowed to Smoker. "Thank you Captain, I will always treasure the time I spent working under you."
Smoker nodded his smile going away as he turned to his squad. "Alright men, let's get back to it!"
"Yes sir!" The surrounding marines answered as they left.
"Hey, let's go!" Vivi yelled down to Gem and the two women, gesturing to board the crab. "We have to get to Alubarna to stop the war!"

Gamerlover41592: Thanks for the love as always, now about Luffy it's only if he knows, which translates to "I don't know right now and will deal with it when I get there."
Guest E: Too many Oc's, at chapter 5 there should've only been like 2 maybe 3 though if you kept going then yea there are quite a few.
MegaWeeb663: That was the idea, I can't wait to be able to use it again.
Ahtu: Really disappointed you didn't read the next chapter to see that I saw the same issues you did and immediately resolved them. I purposely wrote going to Arlong arc early so I could fuck up the later arcs. As for Sanji arc it wouldn't get destroyed since the only reason he made it there was because he was guided by Ghin who broke out of the prison in the marine ship thanks to the strawhats.
Final thoughts
Smoker is level 310
Crocodile is level 300
Despite have more strength, speed and durability Smoker does not have complete mastery over his logia therefore unable to phase through all attacks like Crocodile. Crocodile takes the win the moment Smoker's jitte is broken because he then has no way of attacking him, unless he takes the water route which due to being in middle of the desert, that was impossible. Also Crocodile had near infinite resources around him meanwhile Smoker could only draw out extra smoke from his Cigars.
