Right before the sun rises over Hyrule, the king goes to Link's room and wakes him up.
"What is it…?" Link asks, sleepily.
"I came to inquire of you about your statement earlier this morning. Is it true that you are marrying my daughter today?" the king asks.
"It is true," Link says, "Why?"
"…come with me… I have something I must give to you first…" the king says.
"Okay," Link says and follows the king.
The two leave the castle together. Princess Zelda wakes up later on and reaches for her diary again.

Dear Diary,
It seems I have slept. I have yet to check on Link again, yet. I can only hope he is not getting himself into any trouble right before our wedding. My father's threat last night still lingers in my mind. If I figure anything out, I will write again.
Princess Zelda puts her diary up. The castle is very quiet and all the guards are patrolling as usual. Zelda glances around curiously and heads to Link's room. Link is not in his room.
"Link?" Zelda calls out, "Link?"
"Your majesty, Link is not here," one guard says.
"Where has he gone?" Zelda asks.
"Last I heard, your father was taking him on a little trip," the guard reports.
"Oh no! You don't think he sent Link back to Ordon Village, do you?!" Zelda asks, horrified.
"I do not know. Perhaps they will return soon," the guard says.
"Thank you… I am worried about Link…" Zelda says, leaving Link's room.
Zelda quickly returns to her room and picks up her diary again.

Dear Diary,
Sorry to write back so soon, but it would appear Link might be in trouble again. My father has taken him away somewhere and I do not know where. My heart hurts to think that he might have returned Link back to Ordon Village. It seems my wedding day is off to a terrible start. I will write back soon, of course.
Princess Zelda returns her diary to its usual place. Worriedly, she twirls a bit of her long brown hair. Her cold gray eyes are full of sadness and worry. Hopefully, Link will be alright and will return in time for the wedding.
