Hey guys here's chapter 2 of Young Guns 2 Thor The Outlaw I hope you guys are enjoying this as much as I'm enjoying writing it and I don't own any of the Young Guns characters just Thor the German Shepherd dog alright without further ado here's chapter 2 enjoy oh and chapter 2 will be told from Thor's POV okay enjoy chapter 2
Chapter 2 Back To Lincoln County New Mexico
Thor's POV:
The journey back to Lincoln was a nightmare Chavez had been forced to walk all the way back without any rest and once we were back in Lincoln they put Chavez in a pit that was dug up in the street and I was thrown into a kennel like area and believe me when I tell you I hated it there I hated being separated from Chavez I guess that happens with a breed like me German Shepherds are known to be clingy to our owners and I was no exception I laid down in my kennel whining softly when I overheard two men talking about me I perked my head up wondering what they were talking about
Hey Mitch what should we do with that German Shepherd dog that came with that Indian guy today? A man asked
I don't know Frank maybe put him in the fighting ring a man named Mitch said
"Fighting ring? "What the hell is fighting ring? I thought
Then a man who I assumed was Mitch came in with a dish he opened up the kennel I growled and began barking aggressively baring my teeth but it didn't faze him instead he just glared at me oh how I wanted to rip his throat out I didn't want to be here I'd rather be back with Chavez in California but it wasn't going to happen I was stuck in this stupid kennel and Chavez was trapped in a pit I had to figure out a way to get the hell out of this kennel and save Chavez but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't I continued growling at the guy named Mitch
You're probably going to be the best fighter out of any of them Mitch said
I snapped at him as he tried to get closer to me I ended up biting his hand causing him to jump back when he did he grinned evilly and I knew he was up to something I just hope that I could get out of here after awhile Mitch left me alone I overheard Bob Olenger talking about how Chavez was going to be swinging from them gallows I whined softly I had get out of here somehow and save Chavez who didn't deserve to be hanged if I know one thing about Chavez is that he's a good guy and the best owner I've ever had I had also overheard that they captured Doc as well and Billy was in Lincoln as well I guess he was promised a pardon but then the Governor went back on his word and fled and Billy is going to be hanged I laid down and sighed softly until I heard gunfire erupt I perked my head up wondering what was going on I then heard what sounded like someone getting knocked out I looked up just in time to see Chavez I jumped up happily as Chavez opened the kennel
We're getting out of here Thor Chavez said
I barked happily and followed him out towards a horse he obtained Chavez loaded me up onto the saddle before mounting onto the horse we took off towards where Billy,Doc and two other guys were at Billy had thrown a box of ammunition towards a place that was on fire causing the ammunition to blow up scaring several horses that were trying to capture us fortunately we made it out alive I learned that other two men were Arkansas Dave Rudabaugh who was a known outlaw and cattle rustler and Pat Garrett who had since become good friends with Billy I didn't Mind Pat but I didn't like Dave mainly because he was starting to treat Chavez like crap and I wasn't going to stand for that we arrived at a little place and Billy shot Doc and Chavez's chains off and Chavez made sure that I was alright and everything before tending to the horses
Hold still now Billy told Doc while cocking the hammer back on his gun got this buckshot infection in my elbow makes my right arm go whoa hold still now
I'am still why don't you just shoot the chain okay Doc replied
Hot damn Doc I knew you came back Billy said unlocking the hammer we made a pact together "remember? You Me Chavez and Thor pals forever Billy
Billy come on the chain Doc said irritably
Look I don't care if you guys swap spittle and piss in each other's boots I don't take to tenderfoots in my gang and I definitely don't take to no Mexicans Dave said pointing to Chavez
It ain't your gang Dave Billy replied
Mexican Indian you son of a bitch Chavez added annoyed
Dave then started on by talking bad about Chavez's parents which made Chavez mad enough to lunge at him but Pat and Billy intervene Pat held Chavez back I walked over and gently nudged Chavez's hand whining softly Chavez sighed softly and gently petted my head I affectionately licked his hand earning a chuckle from him I turned sharply when I heard a gunshot before realizing that Billy had shot Doc's chains off Doc tossed him something I didn't see what it was because Doc lost his temper and he and Billy sprawled onto the ground fighting I barked a bit as Chavez and Pat broke them up
I KNOW YOU SON OF A BITCH! Doc screeched while struggling against Chavez's grasp
YOU KNOW ME HUH WELL YOU KNOW YOU SCURLOCK! YOU KILLED HALF THE MEN I GOT CREDIT FOR I SAW YOU WITH BLOOD ALL OVER YOURSELF I SAW YOU KILL JUST BECAUSE YOU WENT BACK EAST AND MARRIED AND PUT ON A SILK CRAVAT THAT DOSEN'T CHANGE WHAT YOU DID! Billy replied back
Damn it Chavez let me at him! Doc yelled trying to break free from Chavez
Chavez said something in Spanish as he kept a tight grip on Doc once Doc settled down and Chavez was able to let go of him is when we started to leave of course Doc wanted to leave he told Chavez that it was over and Chavez had told him that when the spirit horse came then it was over Chavez set me up on the saddle then mounted and rode off and Doc had no choice but to follow us we decided to head to Beaver's tavern in Juarez which I was fine with but it was only the beginning before the hunt would really began
