Listen, I know y'all are going to be thinking that Naruto would be crazy strong after this chapter but he won't. He'll just be stronger than the other pirates at his age. Not stronger than adult pirates of course, just a little bit stronger. Now onto the writing.

"Are you sure this is a good idea captain?"asked one of the crewmates.

"Yeah. This may traumatize the kid."

"Listen. Naruto just finished mastering conqueror's haki and he did that in the span of two months. None of you get it but that's completely fucking crazy for a kid his age and because of that we're testing him today. You guys do your job and he'll do his.

"Excuse me captain, but what's his job?"asked one of the crewmates.

"Beating you guys up. Any of you got a problem with that?"He asked menacingly.

"N-no sir!"exclaimed both of them.

"Good. And before I forget, if you hurt my daughter, I'll cut your fucking tongue and butcher your carcass. Understand?"

"Yes sir!"

"Now get your asses out there and do what I told you to do!"

"Yes sir!"

"Idiots."

"Onigiri is way better than ramen."

"You're sick in the head Uta."

"Ramen is just noodles with soup. So what?"

"It tastes way better than that salty shit."

"Onigiri is not shit!"

"Is too!"

"Where are those guys? They were supposed to be here five minutes ago."she thought.

"Psst. Uta."

Out of the corner of her eye, she took a quick glance and saw the two idiots hidden in a bush.

"Finally they're here."

She gave them a thumbs up, signaling that she was ready.

"Alright. Tomato sauce?"

"Check."

"Fake sword?"

"Check."

"Okay, let's do this. And remember, don't hurt the captain's daughter."

"Got it."

"Are you even listening to me, Uta?"

"No."

"Idiot. I was saying…"

"Hello brat. Mind giving us some money? We promise to not hurt ya if you do."

"Piss off you idiots. I'm trying to talk some sense into someone."

"That's no way to talk to your elders. Guess I'll have to teach you some manners. Let's start with you little girl.''One of the men said, unsheathing his sword.

"I don't have time for this. Just leave before you get hurt."

"Naruto, I think we should…"

"Huh. Uta, what's wrong."

He looked down to see the robber's sword, stabbed on the side of her hip.

Thud*

"One down, one to go hahaha."said the other robber laughing.

He looked down at her. Her whole body, covered in blood. It's because of him. Him again. First the broken wrist and now this.

"Y-you. You fucking jerks. You'll pay for this!"

He didn't know what was happening but he wasn't in control. One second he was near Uta's dead body, another one he was pinning the robbers down on the ground, beating the shit out of them. Punch after punch after punch. It felt good. So good. This feeling that he had. It was just the same as the time he unleashed his haki.

"Naruto stop! It's okay. I'm alright. Now stop!"

"Huh?"

She's, she's alive. But how? She was bleeding on the ground just a few minutes ago.

"H-how are you alive? You were just on the ground a few seconds ago bleeding to death."

"Uh, a miracle?"

"You're hiding something."

"No I'm not."

"Tell me right now."

"I told you it's nothing."

"Fine then. I'll go ask your dad."

"Go on then. He'll tell you the same thing!"

She hoped.

He looked at his watch frustratedly. Those idiots were supposed to be back by now. What was taking them so long. Maybe Naruto beat them to a bloody mess. Now that would've been funny. Okay no, that wouldn't be funny.

"Let me go Uta! I need to talk to him!"

"I told you it's nothing!"

Speak of the devil.

"What brings you both here, brats?"

"What the fuck is wrong with you?"

"What'd I do?"

"Why'd you hire fake robbers to attack me and Uta?"

"Why are you assuming it's me?"

"Because I recognized those guys as one of your men after I finished beating them up."

"Ok ok you got me but why are you so mad? I was just testing how powerful your conqueror's haki was and congratulations! It's so strong that I could feel it from here."

"You're not human!"yelled Naruto as he ran away.

"What'd I do wrong?"he asked.

"I don't know. Why don't you go do to him what you did to me when I was mad."

"I'm not good at one on one talking though."

"I don't care. Now, go talk to him!"

"Alright, sheesh,"he said, walking away.

He was starting to understand how Uta felt that day she was pissed. Pissed however was an understatement. He was livid. Livid that Shank's tested him. Livid that Shank's used Uta as bait. Especially that one. Of all the people, he used Uta. He could've used anyone. Benn, Yasopp, Lucky roux but no, he chose Uta.

"Can I come up there?"Shank's asked.

"Fuck off."

"C'mon. I don't understand why you're mad. I was just testing how strong you were, that's all."

"You wanna know why I'm mad? You wanna know huh. Then let's start with the testing. Why the fuck would you test me without me knowing? We could've tested it together without doing any of that shit you did. And you used Uta as bait. You're own fucking daughter! Are you sick in the head? Huh? What would've happened if she really got hurt. What would you have done? You know what I would've done? I would've fucking killed you. I would've tortured you to death, cut you into pieces with your own fucking sword and fed you to a sea king!"he said, panting.

A silence fell. Shank's was speechless. He didn't know what to say after that. He hadn't thought it through. He just thought he would test him, find out his strength and celebrate. But he didn't want to believe he was wrong either.

"But you don't understand. I did all that to test how strong you are."

"So you're saying strength matters more than your own daughter?"

He was frozen still. Did he really just say that? What was wrong with him? Maybe Naruto was right. Maybe he was sick in the head.

"You're the one who doesn't understand. From now on, I don't want to see you ever again. I don't want you near me, I don't want you around me and I especially don't want to see that fucking face of yours ever again."He said as he walked past him.

He didn't know how long he stood there but it felt like a century. He was angry with those idiots for being found out but he was especially angry with himself. Angry that he used his daughter as bait to test Naruto. Angry that he even decided to test him. And now, he wasn't allowed near him and around him. He felt like it was now time. It was time to execute the plan.

"Captain? What are you doing out here?"asked Benn.

"Tonight."

"What?"

"We execute the plan tonight."

"This early? Are you sure?"

"Don't question me Benn. We do it tonight."

She heard some rustling in the bushes and was relieved to see Naruto come out.

"Naruto! You're back! How'd it go?"she asked.

He usually would've stopped and answered her but he just ignored her and kept walking.

"Um, hello? Naruto? Can you hear me?" She asked as she followed him by his side.

He stopped and turned. She was expecting to see that usual goofy smile from him but she wasn't expecting him to have tears. Was it out of happiness or sorrow she didn't know but judging from his facial expression, it looked like it was out of sorrow.

"How?"he asked

"How what?"

"How could you let him use you like that?"

"It was just for a test. And I'm ok. See."she pointed to the place where her wound was fake stabbed.

"And what if you were? What if you were hurt? What if you really did get stabbed? What would've happened?"

"I-i'd be dead."

"Exactly."

"But it was just a test and I didn't get hurt."

"Seriously? Both of you are really the same. I'll tell you what I told him. I don't want you near me, around me and I don't want to see your face again."

"I don't want to see your face again."

That was the sentence that kept repeating itself in Uta's head. She can't imagine who was hurting more. Her dad or her. Then again, it was her father's plan. But she also went along with that plan and she was at fault too. She didn't want to break her relationship with Naruto but she didn't also want to break the relationship he had with her father. So she had to choose. And she chose the latter.

"Wait. You can be mad at me but please don't be mad about my dad. I know it's his fault but please don't be mad at him. He just wanted to test…"

"You're both at fault. Him for planning it and you for going along with it. I have every right to be mad at you and him. Now, could you leave? I need to be alone for a while."

And with that, she left. She wasn't going to lie. That night, Uta cried herself to sleep.

"Captain, everything is done. We're all prepared."said one of the crewmates.

"Is Uta in?"He asked.

"Yeah, she's sound asleep."

"Good. Let me just finish up right here."

He looked back to what he was writing. He read it over again and again and hoped that the kid would have a place in his heart to forgive him. He couldn't imagine how Uta was handling it as he overheard what he had said to her. The kid was right. He had every right to be angry at both of them. But still, he hoped.

"Captain, everything is ready."

"Alright. Hoist the sails! We're leaving right now!"

"Are you sure about this?"asked Benn.

"Leaving the kid here all alone. I wanted him to meet Usopp."Said Yasopp.

"I'll miss the kid, even though he was a bully."

"Don't worry. He has all the animals backing him up. Plus, the kid can handle for himself. I left him a special gift and a note."

"If you say so, captain." They said synchronized.

"Guess this is goodbye for now, Naruto."thought Shank's.

The sun shined bright across his tent. He didn't want to wake up. He didn't want to see Shank's, Uta or anyone. He just wanted to be alone. Speaking of alone, there wasn't the usual noise in the morning. He couldn't hear Benn's snoring. He couldn't hear Lucky roux's mucus pop. He couldn't even hear Yasopp talking in his sleep about his son Usopp. He was missing them to be honest. He only met them for a year and a half but they felt like family to him. Too bad all of that we're ruined by two people. Four people to be exact. He forgot about those fake robbers Shank's called crewmates.

Prrr*

"Akira, let me sleep."

He could feel her taking off his blanket.

"Akira. C'mon. Bring it back, please."

She shook her head.

"Alright. I'm coming out."

He almost tripped. All the tents were gone except for his. Benn's, Yasopp's, Lucky roux's, Uta's, Shank's. All of them. Even the crewmates' tents were gone.

"The hell…"he couldn't finish as his eyes stumbled on the carved wooden log in front of his tent.

Two things. Something that looked like a sword and a note. That only meant one thing.

""Shank's, you idiot!"He yelled.

"Did somebody call me?"Shank's asked.

"No captain."

"I could've sworn I heard someone yell my name.
