Chapter 1: The spell
One afternoon in Imp City
Jax was all alone playing in Blitzo's apartment. The reason why he was alone right now was because Blitzo and Loona were currently out grocery shopping to re-stock their kitchen and they were going to be back soon. Right now Jax was sitting on the carpet between the couch and the TV playing with some of his toys. He was enjoying himself until his stomach went...
*GROWL!*
"Uh oh. I'm having a rumbly in my tumbly. I need a snack." Jax said before getting up and making his way to the kitchen
Once he was in the kitchen, something on top of the counter next to the toaster catches his eye. Something that looked like a navy blue book with golden designs on the cover and a large red gem on the back spine. Jax instantly recognized it as the grimoire.
"Hey it's that magical book that opens the circle thingy to the living world." Jax said
One thing is that Jax had never held or seen the grimoire up close, he only saw Blitzo and the others use it.
"Hmmm...I always wonder how it works." Jax said as he was now growing curious
Jax contemplated on ignoring it and proceeding on getting his snack. But at his little tender age, curiosity easily got the best of him. So he went and got a chair from the dining table and pushed it over to the counter so he could hop up and reach the grimoire.
"Woah this is heavy." Jax said as he lifted the grimoire before hopping back down off the chair
With the spell book now in his hands, Jax opens it up to a random paige and immediately gets puzzled on what he was looking at.
"Huh?...This is weird. Why do all these words look so funny?" Jax said as he looks over the runic lettering on the page
What Jax didn't know is that he opened the book to a chapter for age related spells. And he was currently looking at a page with youth and age reversing spells.
"I don't get it. How does this work? I can't read any of these strange words." Jax said growing more puzzled on the runic writing he was so unfamiliar with
Jax decided to turn to the next page in attempt to find any words written in english. But right when his fingers made contact with the page, the runic words suddenly started glowing in a bright blue color.
"*Gasp!* WOAH!" Jax exclaimed as he dropped the book on the floor out of shock
After the words started to glow, Jax also started glowing in a blue aura as he was suddenly magically levitating off the floor much to his surprise and shock.
"Wai-Wah! What's happening!? Why am I floating!?" Jax cried out
That's when the grimoire did its thing.
*ZAP!* "WAH!"
Outside, a brief flash of bright light can be seen from the window of Blitzo's apartment.
Meanwhile Loona and Blitzo were now driving back from the local Imp City grocery store with the backseat of their I.M.P van full of groceries.
"Did you really have to kick the shit out of that random shopper Loona?" Blitzo asked
"Well he was gawking at my furry ass. He clearly asked for it." Loona said calmly as she texted on her phone
"Well a simple 'Can you not' would've been easy." Blitzo said as he turned right onto the street of his apartment
After parking and unloading the van, Loona and Blitzo make their way into the apartment each holding two grocery bags. What they didn't know is that they were in for a surprise. A tot sized surprise that is.
1 minute later
The door of the apartment opens and Loona and Blitzo walk in setting their grocery bags down on the dining table.
"Hey Jax were back." Loona called out
Silence
"Jax?" Loona called as she peered over the couch only to find some toys on the floor but no Jax in sight
"Hmm. He must be napping." Blitzo said
"Could be. It's awfully quiet."
With that Loona goes to check her bedroom to see if Jax was napping in her bed. While she did that, Blitzo starts to empty out the grocery bags and organize all the food. When suddenly...
"Ahaha. Baba."
Blitzo perks up upon hearing the sudden baby-like noise.
"The hell was that?"
He shakes it off thinking it was nothing. But it happens again.
"Googoo. Daba."
"...Okay something's in here." Blitzo said as he stopped what he was doing and started following the noise
Blitzo follows the noise into the kitchen. There he finds something that makes his eyes go wide in sheer shock and confusion.
"Uhhhh Loona!" Blitzo yelled out
"What!"
"You better get in here!"
Loona comes out of her bedroom and into the kitchen with Blitzo.
"Alright what is it? Did you find him?...What in Hell!?" Loona exclaimed upon seeing what Blitzo was looking at on the floor
