Chapter 2: Fresh diapers
Loona and Blitzo both stood in the kitchen taking in the odd yet adorable sight before them on the kitchen floor. Sitting on the kitchen floor was none other than Jax. Except Jax wasn't a 5 year old toddler pup anymore, he was now a 2 month old small baby infant pup with a shorter tail, shorter snout, shorter ears, shorter arms and legs, small hands and paws, and large cute puppy eyes. And to go with it he wasn't wearing his clothes anymore, instead he was now wearing a plain white soft and puffy diaper with a hole for his tail.
Even though Jax was now turned into a tiny little baby, he never lost his sense to the world around him. He was still himself on the inside and was fully aware of what happened to him. One thing though is now that he was a baby, he lost his ability to talk properly. So the only way he could communicate was through baby-like gibberish talk.
"Is that...Jax? Why is he...a baby!?" Loona asked in disbelief
"The bigger question is how in the Hell did he become a baby all of a sudden. This is so weird." Blitzo said
"And is that the grimoire!?" Loona asked pointing to the grimoire that was lying open on the floor right next to Jax
"Mama helpy." Jax cried holding his arms out
Blitzo walks up and picks up the open grimoire to inspect it while Loona walks up and scoops up her now baby pup in her arms.
"Jax can you understand me? What happened to you? How did you become a baby?" Loona asked
Jax put on guilty puppy eyes before explaining in his baby language.
"Booky go zap. Me sowwy." Jax said pointing to the grimoire
"Book go zap?" Loona asked confused
"Uh Loona you better look at this." Blitzo said as he looked at the page on the book
Loona gently sits Jax on the kitchen counter before going to look at the grimoire with Blitzo.
"What is it?" Loona asked
"Look at this here. There's a spell on this page that can instantly reverse your age back to your infant age. And It can be activated by simply touching this symbol here." Blitzo pointed to a small drawing of a baby pacifier on the bottom right corner of the page
"So in other words while we were gone Jax turned himself into a baby by touching that pacifier. Is there a way to undo this?" Loona asked
"Ehhhh...i'm afraid not." Blitzo confessed
"What? There's no way? He will be like this forever?" Loona asked
"Now calm down it aint the end of the world. It says here that the spell will wear off after...2 weeks."
"Just 2 weeks?" Loona asked
"Yep and he will be back to normal in a jiff. Simple as that." Blitzo said clapping the book shut
"*sigh* Oh joy." Loona facepalmed
"Now don't fret Loona. Look on the bright side. He's much cuter than before. Plus this is your chance to learn how to care for a baby which means you just leveled up on motherhood. Isn't that exciting!?" Blitzo happily encouraged
"Yeah I guess so."
Loona takes a deep breath before turning to face Jax on the counter while processing her thoughts.
"I'll just leave you 2 alone for a minute. I gotta find a safe place to put this." Blitzo said as he left the room with the grimoire
"*sigh* Jax what were you thinking!? You could've gotten yourself hurt if you casted a wrong spell on yourself!" Loona lightly scolded her baby pup
Feeling like he was in serious trouble, Jax put on a super guilty puppy face as he shedded a single tear.
"*whimper whimper* Me no mean to. I cuwious. Me vewy sowwy. *whimper whimper*" Jax whimpered guiltfully in his high pitched baby tone
Loona right away put on a soft forgiving expression as she picked up her pup and warmly hugged him close on her chest with his head over her shoulder.
"Shhhhh it's okay. Shhhhhh There there kiddo." Loona whispered as she softly patted his back with her left hand while holding him on the diaper with her right hand.
Jax calmed down and felt better very quick before Loona seperated to look at him in the eyes.
"Don't feel so bad Jax. We all screw up sometimes. And I have to admit you really do look cuter as a baby. I think i'm going to enjoy caring for you like this." Loona smiled sweetly
With that Jax instantly lightened up with Joy before hugging his adoptive mom around her neck with his small baby arms.
"Teehehe Me wuvs mama doggy!" Jax squealed with his short tail wagging
"Hehehe yeah I love you two kiddo. You know I'm always here for you." Loona smiled as she lovingly nuzzled her baby pup
After putting the grimoire safely away, Blitzo comes back into the room and is greeted by the wonderful sight between Jax and Loona.
"Awwww look at you two!" Blitzo cooed
"What? I'm just being his mom that's all." Loona said a little bothered by Blitzo's fatherly cooeing
Suddenly a horrible stench out of nowhere reaches Loona's nose.
"*sniff sniff* Augh Blitz are you serious!" Loona grossed out
"What? That wasn't me!" Blitzo denied also catching the stench
Loona then realized that the stinky stench was very close to her like she was holding onto it. She looks suspiciously at Jax before pulling the back of his diaper open and looking down inside it. She had found the source of the stinky smell.
"Oh for Hells sake." Loona said looking like she was gonna barf
"it's the kid isn't it?" Blitzo asked
"Yep. it's him alright." Loona confirmed
"Diapy poopy." Jax admitted shamefully
Loona also realized...
"Shit we don't have any diapers!"
"Relax Loona I got you covered." Blitzo said before running to his bedroom and quickly coming out with a large carrying bag filled with all kinds of baby supplies. Fresh diapers, powder, wipes, bottles, and bandages for boo boos.
"Everything you need to take care of a baby is all in here." Blitzo happily presented the bag
"Wait...why do you have all that stuff?" Loona asked suspiciously
"Umm...Uhh...that's not important right now. What important is getting the kid changed. Here lay him on the couch." Blitzo instructed
Together Loona and Blitzo prepare everything to go through the changing process. Right now Jax was on the couch laying on his back with Loona on her knees right in front of him.
"*Deep breath* Ok here goes nothing." Loona said readying herself
"You got this Loonie. I'm right here with you." Blitzo encouraged as he opened up the bag ready to hand Loona what she needed
With that Loona untapes Jax's diaper and slowly opens it up revealing a big mess of...well you get the idea.
"Oh fuck. That's a big load." Blitzo grossed out at the sight
Loona carefully removes the messy diaper off of Jax, bundles it up and tosses it in a nearby trash bin.
"Oh thank satan." Blitzo said relieved before taking a wipe cloth out of the bag and handing it to Loona
Loona thoroughly wipes and cleans all around Jax's area before tossing the cloth in the same trash bin. Next it was time for the powder.
Blitzo hands Loona a bottle and she dumps plenty of baby powder on Jax's area. But some of it reaches his nose triggering him to sneeze.
"eh...ah...ACHOO!" Jax sneezed cutely making some of the powder fly everywhere
"Bless you kiddo." Loona smiled
"Hehe sowwy." Jax smiled
Finally it was time to put on the fresh new diaper. Blitzo reaches into the bag and pulls out one and hands it to Loona.
"And now for the grand finale." Blitzo smiled
Loona takes Jax's fluffy tail and carefully inserts it through the hole on the back of the diaper before fully putting it on and taping it up securely. Mission complete!
With the diaper change successfully done, Loona sits on the couch and cradles her pup in her arms. Jax giggles in his happy baby tone as he was feeling better to be in a new diaper. But that changed suddenly when Jax started to cry.
"W-Waaaah! Waaaaaaaahahahaaaa!"
"What the!? What's happening!? We just changed him!" Blitzo asked
"I don't know It could be something else. Let me ask him." Loona hugs Jax close to help him calm down which thankfully works as he reduced his crying
"Jax what's wrong kiddo? What is it?" Loona whispered softly
"*sniff* Me hungwy." Jax said
"...Really? He had to cry just to tell us he's hungry?" Blitzo asked
"Well babies naturally cry whenever something is wrong. What did you expect?" Loona said
"...Right well you sit tight. I'll go fix up a bottle." Blitzo said as he took an empty baby bottle out of the bag before going to the kitchen
Since Jax was 2 months old, he couldn't eat solid food anymore. So he had to drink from a bottle from now on.
After making a bottle of fresh baby milk, Blitzo comes back from the kitchen and hands the bottle to Loona. Loona checks the milk to make sure it wasn't too warm before proceeding to feed the substance to her pup. Jax puts his mouth over the tip and begins to drink down the milk while Loona held the bottle for him with her free hand.
*suck suck suck suck suck* Jax sucked away on the bottle
The milk was so good that Jax blissfully closed his eyes as he drank. Loona couldn't help but smile warmly as she continued on feeding her pup while slowly rocking back and forth like a real proud mother.
Blitzo couldn't help but take out his video camera and record the super wholesome moment before him.
"Awwwwww Loona I just love seeing this side of you. Not only are so soft as a marshmallow, you are also gentle and motherly. It's too much and it feels so good. Oh You are just so sweet." Blitzo cooed with joyful eyes
Upon hearing all those words, Loona let Jax hold his bottle so she could use her free hand to grab a pillow and angrily yeet it at Blitzo causing him to fall and drop his camera.
*POMF!* "OOF!" *THUD!*
Jax stopped drinking so he could giggle at the hilarious action Loona did to Blitzo.
"Ow...I guess I deserved that." Blitzo said as he stood back up
"Listen Da- I mean Blitz! Even though i'm nurturing for my pup, I can still be tough as a bag of nails! Get that through your retarded head! Call me soft one more time I'll gouge your eyes out!" Loona glared
"Alright alright I take that back. Yeesh." Blitzo said rolling his eyes
