Chapter 3: Ruined breakfast burrito
Night time in Hell. 9 PM
It was now bedtime
Right now Loona was in the bathroom helping baby Jax get ready for bed. After getting regressed into a baby, not only did Jax lose his ability to speak properly, he also can't do things on his own very well so Loona has to help him in everyway. Right now Jax was sitting on the edge of the sink vanity with his little mouth wide open as Loona carefully brushed his tiny little canine teeth with a toothbrush.
*Brush brush brush brush brush brush brush brush*
"Alright go ahead and spit." Loona instructed
Jax did so as he turned his head and spat into the sink.
"Ptooie!" *SPLAT!*
"Good boy." Loona smiled before resuming on brushing
Meanwhile Blitzo was on the living room floor setting up Jax's makeshift baby crib which was basically a large open cardboard box.
"Alright here's this and that." Blitzo said as he laid down some thick cozy blankets into the box along with a soft pillow
"And now for the final touch." Blitzo whips out a black sharpie marker and writes 'Little Badass' on the side of the box
"Perfect!" Blitzo smiled at his now complete baby crib box for Jax
Finally after finishing up on teeth brushing and fur grooming, Loona comes out of the bathroom with Jax in her arms.
"Oh hey Loona! I got the kid's little bed all set up here! It ain't much but it's cozy enough!" Blitzo said happily presenting the cardboard crib
"Well I was gonna have him snuggle on my tail for the night but meh that will work." Loona said
Loona brings Jax over to the makeshift crib box and gently places him in it helping him get comfortable.
"Alright time for you to hit the sack kiddo." Loona smiled as she petted Jax
But Jax couldn't sleep. Well not yet because he was missing something.
"Me no sleepy." Jax said in his baby tone
"Oh Ya hear that Loona? He ain't tired. What do we do now?" Blitzo asked
"Hmmmm...I think I have just thing." Loona said before reaching into the pocket of her shorts and taking out Jax's old red pacifier
"Huh? Where did you get that?" Blitzo asked
"Jax found this in the exact spot where his birth mom died remember?" Loona reminded
"Oh yeah right." Blitzo acknowledged
Jax recognized his old pacifier the moment he saw it and couldn't wait to try it.
"Here kiddo try this out." Loona said as she inserted the pacifier into Jax's mouth which he happily accepted
Jax sucked on the pacifier until he was starting to nod off indicating that he was now ready to sleep.
"Well look at that it's working." Blitzo smiled
Loona gently grabs a hold of Jax and helps him lay down in the box before gently tucking him in with the blankets over him.
Loona and Blitzo both watched in awe as the little baby hellhound was now peacefully dozing away.
"*Yawn* Well imma go hit it. Goodnight my sweet mommy Loonie. Hehehe!" Blitzo teased as he made he made his way to his bedroom
"I fucking hate you Blitz!" Loona mumbled quietly to not wake Jax
After Blitzo goes into his bedroom and closes the door, Loona turns her attention back to Jax smiling again. Jax slowly breathed in and out with the pacifier still in his mouth and his eyes still closed. Loona couldn't help but bring her head into the box to give Jax a soft & sweet goodnight kiss on his face.
"*Kiss* Sweet dreams kiddo." Loona whispered as she softly stroked her pup between his ears with her soft fingertips
Finally Loona stands up and makes her way into her bedroom to hit the sack for the night leaving Jax by himself. She leaves her bedroom door open a crack so that in case Jax cries in the night she could hear him. All was now quiet in the apartment with Blitzo, Loona, and little baby Jax all peacefully sleeping away.
8 hours of sleep later
The next morning at Moxxie and Millie's apartment
"Moxxie could you get the butter please?" Millie requested as she was at the stove working on making delicious breakfast burritos on a frying pan
"Sure honey. One stick of butter coming right up." Moxxie smiled as he went over to the fridge to get the said ingredient
Moxxie was about to grab the fridge door handle but stops midway as he was getting a strong suspicious feeling that there's a likely chance that Blitzo could be hiding in the fridge waiting to present the spoiled butter again.
Slowly and carefully Moxxie opens the fridge door and to his relief Blitzo wasn't in there. Nothing but cold food and bottles.
"Oh Phew" Moxxie smiled as he grabbed the hard stick of butter before closing the fridge
"Here you are honey." Moxxie smiled giving Millie the butter
"Oh thank you dear." Millie smiled back
After making the breakfast burritos, the two married imps sat down and ate happily together. As they were eating suddenly out of nowhere, a red brick with a note attached comes flying in through the open window of their apartment landing directly on Moxxie's plate crushing his burrito flat into a mess.
*SPLAT!*
"What the!?" Moxxie exclaimed in surprise
"Oh my! Where did that come from?" Millie asked also surprised
"I don't know but there's a note on it." Moxxie said as he removed the taped note off the brick and unfolded it to read it
The note said 'Look out your window!'
"Huh?"
Moxxie stood up from the table and walked over to the open window the brick flew in. He pokes his head outside and looks down from the second floor height. To Moxxie's disappointment, he sees Blitzo down on the sidewalk smiling and waving up at him with the I.M.P van parked behind him.
"Yoohoo! Finish your breakfast and move your ass Moxxie! We got assholes to kill!" Blitzo yelled enthusiastically
"*sigh*" Moxxie facepalmed as he stepped away from the window
"Who is it?" Millie asked
"It's just our boss here to pick us up. He had to ruin my breakfast just to let us know he's here." Moxxie said in sheer disappointed
"Oh B is here? Well let's hurry and get on down! Don't wanna keep him waiting!" Millie smiled as she grabbed Moxxie and excitedly dragged him out of the apartment leaving her burrito half eaten on the table
Blitzo stood on the sidewalk patiently waiting until Moxxie and Millie came out of their apartment building to greet him.
"We're here B!" Millie smiled
"Reporting for duty sir. You owe me a burrito by the way." Moxxie said deadpanned
"Right you are! Now before we get going, there's something that you two should know and you are gonna love it." Blitzo smiled
"Oh? What's the word?" Millie asked
With that Blitzo begin explaining to Moxxie and Millie the whole scenario of Jax turning himself into a baby with the grimoire.
