Chapter 55 - Our Perfect Rivalry

While the rest of the class mulled over their results for the day, Izuku stood off to the side, looking through his phone as he eagerly awaited a text from All Might with a pleased smile. "It's been a while; hopefully, he got my message."

"You," He jolted at Katsuki's sharp tone, though no one else heard them as he stomped past Izuku, not bothering to look him in the eye. "Meet me out front later, and keep this to yourself, got that?" He swept past, frowning as he too mulled over many thoughts running rampant. "We need to have a talk about your Quirk."

Hearing this droned out most of the laughter and chatter, his gaze cut to Katsuki's back as he left, leaving him confused and frightened; it seems his suspicions back at the Exam were true; he did remember what he said to him that day. The issue was that Izuku had no general idea what he was thinking and did not tell anyone, not even Yuki? Something wasn't being said right now for a good reason.

"Um... okay."

"Kacchan, how far are we going?" He received no response other than the crickets and soft rustle from a breeze. It was late at night, everyone was fast asleep, and it wasn't hard for Izuku to slip out of Yuki's warm arms since she was a heavy sleeper. But he was growing anxious; Katsuki led them further from both the dorms and the school, travelling along the red road ahead. "We shouldn't be walking around in the middle of the night."

No reply. "Hello?" Still nothing but the sight of his back. Meanwhile, Katsuki was thinking back to when they were younger, how Izuku followed him like a lost puppy he couldn't shake, but he remained silent and kept walking.

Soon, the two were in Ground Beta, standing in the same street that sparked a familiar memory for Izuku, his eyes looking up at the plain-looking building. "You brought us to... Ground Beta?" He felt their first match was to be connected, but why bring him all the way out here for this?

"This is where you, me, and that Mute had our first combat training, where I fought you both and lost," He growled, head still low and with his back to Izuku. "You've always made me sick; you know that, Deku?"

"Somehow I knew, this was it," He bit his cheek and listened, his heart twisting with massive waves of anxiety and red flags as Katsuki tensed, clenching his fists bitterly.

"You were useless, no power at all, a joke, so now you're gonna tell me how a nobody like you got into this school with a brand new Quirk that appeared out of nowhere?" He turned his head toward the nervous emerald eyes. Then he grinned, remembering the bits and pieces he had gathered without care until now. "I didn't get what you meant back then because everything you said made no sense, but you just kept climbing higher and higher looking so damn satisfied with yourself."

He lost his grin for scorn. "Ever since that sludge villain - no, when All Might came to town, better and better until you passed the Licensing Exam when I didn't, I failed," It was burning inside, how he lost and Deku won, it was boiling. "How the hell is that even possible?"

Izuku put his hand out. "That wasn't a matter of abilit-"

"Shut up and listen, you damn Nerd!" He spat venomously, hearing him flinch and apologize. He tapped his foot, a rush of something made him unstable, like a pressing matter he should have taken care of ages ago but never could. "It pissed me off that I got beat by such a pathetic weakling, but after everything that happened both with that villain that messed with Mute and with All Might at Camino Ward, I began to understand,"

Izuku gulped; he braced for the question he wished never came to pass. Katsuki's dull but furious eyes locked to his. "I've been giving it alot of thought... you got your Quirk from All Might, didn't you? He gave you his power?" There was no hiding that subtle twitch in Izuku's face

"I heard about the boss villain; apparently, he has the ability to steal a person's Quirk and give it to someone else," He explained, chuffing. "All sounds crazy but then one of those cat ladies had her power stolen and now she can't work,"

"Then once All Might and that Mute showed up you started changing, then he lost his power and had to retire just like the cat-lady," He looked down briefly. "I remember what he said after he beat the big bad, everyone did, back then-" He turned to face Izuku directly. "-you were the only one that understood what he meant. There's more evidence too like how those Nomu monsters have multiple Quirks even though it seemed impossible, and besides..."

Katsuki could remember clearly how the two interacted. "All Might and the boss villain knew each other before that fight, Quirks can be moved from one person to another, All Might knew the guy who could do it, and that all loops back to what you said about getting your Quirk from someone else,"

It was horrible, Izuku had no way to deny it, Katsuki had pieced it together all on his own, the last person All Might told him not to believe took him seriously, but he did, he kept that fact and now here they were, breaking it all down by the pieces. There was no one else to back him up, and lying to Katsuki wasn't going to work either, he was done, no moves he could play to escape this.

"I asked All Might this in a way but he never gave me a straight answer," Izuku was his only other ticket, the Mute wouldn't talk, she was smart enough not to. "This is why you're going to tell me the truth." His eyes snapped sharply, Izuku continued to stand in silence. "You aren't trying to deny it so that means I must be right, so say it."

Izuku clenched his fists, there wasn't another way out, he failed to listen to All Might and Yuki, and now he had to pay that price; holding his stern glare, he spoke, "And? What if it's true?" He knew the answer already

"You and I wanted to be just like All Might growing up, but I had the potential, yet somehow a little nobody like you was singled out by the person I admired most and I didn't even realize it, that's why we're here," He held out his hand like a claw, glaring daggers at his old friend. "You and I are settling this, right here, right now!"

Panic shot through Izuku's cold expression. "Wait what!?" He threw his arms out, waving Katsuki back. "How is that the best way for us to work things out - no, we shouldn't even be out here, we could wait to talk about this during one of our free periods, reserve a training room or -"

Katsuki lowered his arm, eyes... lost with confusion, bewildered at the sight of a nerd who became so strong. "If we fight for real we'll be stopped, and if Uraraka or the Mute knew about this they'd stop it too," Izuku was taken back by this, how he considered those he knew would prevent their battle. "I want to know what made All Might give his power to a loser like you."

Izuku frowned at the state Katsuki became, he looked so lost in his head, "Let me see for myself, is it because you looked up to him more than I did?" Now self-anger crossed his eyes, reflection on his actions, "If that's the case, does that mean everything I did to be like him was wrong?"

"No, Kacchan..." Izuku couldn't believe it; to him, Kacchan was outstanding in every way; he had the strength he never had, the confidence he couldn't obtain, a passion to win he wanted to reach. Katsuki was the person he admired next to the Symbol himself.

Do you think... I can be a hero just like him too?

Izuku was starting to back out now. "You... really want to do this?" While he tried to take the peaceful route, Katsuki was stretched, prepping for the battle.

"If you don't want to get hurt punch back," Then he recalled Izuku's new style to combat while popping his arms. "Oh right, you switched to using kicks more often now, huh?"

He still refused to fight, putting his hands out. "Come on, stop, this isn't smart!" Too little too late, Katsuki bent his arms back and launched for Izuku with tremendous force. "Kacchan!" The right arm swept high, and Izuku started to overthink the action as a feint due to past results, sadly, it ruptured and tore up the street, forcing Izuku to evade with Full Cowling charged at five percent but his right shin was singed

"You know your problem is that you're always overthinking things like that damn Mute!" He yelled through the smoke. "JUST FIGHT ME!"

Up above, Izuku couldn't help but get riled up by this reckless action. "You seriously want to spar now?" No reply other than an explosive jump. Katsuki's left hand flung past his face, the two locking eyes momentarily he growled and swung back with the right, explosions going off with enough force to shatter windows, the very strength of the blasts knocking Izuku back as he gave himself room. "He may know about my kicks, but I still can fight at long range!" He bent his fingers, spotting Katsuki sailing toward him. With two flicks, he sent two bolts of wind to intercept, forcing the blonde to evade, pressing his feet to a window before blasting off, kicking Izuku flying into the tarmac below.

"You think I didn't know you can do that, huh, Deku!?" His voice thundered with rage, neither seeing the figure observing on the roof of a building with omnivorous eyes. "I heard you could even predict attacks somewhat, don't know how, but I guess I'll just attack everything to counter!"

"You got to stop this; why fight when we can talk things out!?" Izuku attempted to reason again with the ticking time bomb, small explosions crackling in Katsuki's palm. "You were right to look up to All Might the way you did!" Katsuki launched high for a powerful downward blast. It made Izuku snap. "Dammit, I told you to wait!"

However, Katsuki kept getting angrier; his blood was on fire. "You were always behind me our whole lives!" His fingers were twitching. "You were stuck to me like glue; no matter how hard I tried, you kept coming back!" This was bothering him; further, he couldn't take it anymore. He launched another attack, missing Izuku, who continued to reason with him. "Stop running! Stand up and fight!" His demand was all he had; he wanted to know, he had to in order to stop this stupid loop in his head!

Katsuki rushed Izuku. "We both admired him, so why!?" He lunged with the left, but Izuku caught his shoulder. "Why!?" With his left leg, he snapped his foot across Izuku's chin to free himself. "WHY!?" His voice screamed, collecting an abundance of nitroglycerin between his palms. Izuku snapped backwards with a kick, knocking the explosion high as Katsuki continued to let loose the roaring orange blaze. "TELL ME!?"

The force was too great, and he was knocked back on his ass; seeing this, Izuku moved to help him. "Hey, are you alrig-" Katsuki slapped his hand away, anger and disappointment resting solely on his face.

"Don't you dare worry about me! Attack me; why won't you fight back!?" Pushing to his feet, he felt guilt and rage sway in his head. "Why did I have to be the one to chase after someone who was so far behind me!?" Finally, he said it, the simmering frustration day-in and day-out, it caused his voice to break at the strain on his heart and his mind. "Why did a small fry like you get strong and become the number one hero's sidekick... his favourite?"

His body couldn't take it; the image was flooding his mind like a storm. "You got so much better while I destroyed All Might and nearly killed Yuki!" Gripping his vest top, he lifted his head, pain and anguish in his face. "It was because of me he ended up losing his power! If I had been stronger... if I hadn't been kidnapped by villains then..."

The painful image of her bloodied body scorched his eyes, spit, tears, and crimson stained her body, her bright eyes flickering with light that held on, unable to scream as her body was burned and beaten every day, and he did nothing. "I couldn't do anything but watch him beat her to an inch of her life, she couldn't even scream, and I just sat there!" Tears started to well up at the memories he'd never be rid of. "And... if none of that happened... then neither would have had to suffer," The last image of All Might passing on the torch, his arm failing him

"All Might knows it's my fault but hasn't said anything," He wiped away his tears. "Yuki won't even go near me; she hasn't even yelled at me for failing to protect her," Katsuki croaked, all while Izuku stared in complete horror. Seeing him slap a hand over the side of his head. "But everyone needs to know; I can't get it out of my head! It's like it's constantly playing on loop-!"

Tears fell while he bowed his body, unable to hold it back. "SO WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DOOO!?"

It all became clear now, "He's... been carrying this guilt with him the whole time?" Izuku felt sick; he again never noticed this; how often had he done that to those he cared about? Yuki? His Mother? And now Katsuki? "He's been blaming himself, obsessing over it." Now it all became clear, this fight, the whole reason they were here wasn't to find out who was better. "I need to go through with this... because right now, I'm the only one who understands you, Kacchan."

Katsuki made the first move, sprinted with his left hand bursting with explosive energy. Izuku kicked into ten percent this time; he needed to be faster. Once Katsuki was in range, he flung his body around, swiping with a horizontal kick to the ash-blonde's face. In a way, it helped to sharpen his Shoot Style further. Clenching his fists, Izuku took up Yuki's wide stance. "If we're doing this, I'm going all out, you hear me!?" He saw the crazed grin on Katsuki's face. "I refuse to be your punching bag anymore, Kacchan!"

It was the only way; Izuku knew that fighting was his only way to vent; that's how it always went. Since as far back as pre-school, the two had known one another, but never once either talk about how each of them felt about virtually anything; their relationship was toxic, resulting to all this build-up of confusion and hatred.

Katsuki shot high above the road, striking down with a vertical blast. "That was close!" Izuku's eyes shot wide, seeing the unique body posture Katsuki took before screaming out his attack, performing a flaming helix toward him at high speeds, ripping and pulling the road apart with the attack. "He'll be on me before I land; this is bad!" He saw the torrent of flames extend a palm, so he snapped his foot away.

To his shock, Katsuki quickly shot himself into a sharp curve, landing behind Izuku's back where he knew he couldn't dodge, landing a resounding right hook to his side, tossing him into the railing while he coughed up spit. There was no time to rest, flipping himself above the railing to evade Katsuki's assault. At the same time, he snatched his wrist, pulling and throwing the emerald-haired teen across the road once again, although the force threw Katsuki into the bent bars himself.

While shaking off the stupor, Izuku realised something, with how fast Katsuki was, he wasn't going to get a chance to think. "I can't keep trying to predict him; I'm overthinking it again; I just need to adapt with the flow if I'm ever going to beat him; that's the only way!" He did allow himself a grin; Katsuki's reaction times have gotten sharper since the last time they fought. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised... we've both been getting strong."

He brought it up to fifteen percent, seeing Katsuki's eyes twitch without any features other than jagged rage. "What the hell are you smiling about, huh!?" He attacked, tearing up the ground while Izuku flipped back his feet, stretching down on all fours, "I thought you weren't going to be my punching bag!?"

"I'm not! Is that seriously all you got!?" He challenged, if he was to beat Katsuki, then he couldn't stop holding back, all he's done to improve on the power he's been offered; otherwise, Katsuki won't accept it. With a massive spike in energy, his bolts electrified across the tarmac, eyes turning neon green under the sudden rise to twenty-five percent

"I bet you got some kind of plan up your sleeve!" Katsuki retaliated with a flashbang but grunted at the sudden force of air that struck his shoulder and stomach, causing his right fist only to graze Izuku's cheek, but his left recovered and slapped him back by the chest. "That's one of the things I hate most about you!"

He fired an explosion but missed as Izuku threw himself high, fingers bent that forced Katsuki to evade the small cones of air that split the road. "I can never tell what you're thinking, just like her!" His eyes twitched like hell he'd lose now. "No matter how many times I beat you, you keep coming back!" Izuku finally landed, sliding to a halt to see the man through the smoke and flames. "It's obvious you looked down on me even when we were kids!"

While wiping away the dirt, Izuku snapped his eyes back at his friend, entirely floored by the claim. "What...?"

"You think you're better than me? If you honestly think you're going to surpass me as a hero even with your new power, you better think again, Deku!" He roared, head buzzing with a memory of that stupid smile and blue hair holding out a note that stained his eyes, it boiled and boiled, yet that and one other thing tethered his mind to reality

Standing tall, Izuku lowered his guard, energy flickering out, but his emerald gaze remained in its charged state. "Is that really what you believed all this time?" He asked, hands facing toward him. "Think about it, Kacchan, if I looked down on you, I'd want nothing to do with you, heck, I'd have given up on ever speaking with you," Those horrid memories were something Viral helped him to let out, to finally lose his grip on the thoughts he tried to suppress. "I was able to notice things you couldn't because I had nothing at first," He raised his voice, seeing All Might training him, Yuki offering him the first friend he's ever had and more, all those that have taught him and given their all for him to succeed.

Finally, their eyes met evenly, "There were things I hated about you, sure, but I accepted your talents, I acknowledged your strengths that I never had!" His energy was rising, further than before. "You had so many things going for you I never had! Yuki was all I had other than you; you both were the reasons I kept climbing higher even if I broke myself to try!" His purplish-red marks let out a heated blast, the wind picking up immensely with a flurry of green static, his hair's highlights beginning to spark.

He took off with a powered step that tore up the earth, kicking his overall percentage to complete control of thirty-eight percent, "All Might was my hero, but you two were the ones ACTUALLY IN MY LIFE!"

"His speed's increased, I can't dodge this!" Katsuki realized it the moment Izuku's leg came sailing down from the right, forcing him to cross his forearms as they strained and buckled from the slanted kick of emerald, knocking him back with two large gashes down his arm, blood dripping from the wounds

"You were incredible Kacchan, it's why I kept chasing after you," Izuku stood tall, eyes blaring with light. "You told me to never give up on Yuki, never to forget everything she's done, don't you see? Thatreason and so many more are the reasons I kept chasing after you!"

"...stop fucking blaming yourself... because you're the damn reason she held on," He turned, marching over to the frightened fanboy to jab him in the chest, seething words into his face. "So you fucking dare give up now, forget what she's done for you... and I'll kill you!"

Both panted, taking in a momentary pause as blood and sweat were spilt. "You... passed me!" Turning, Katsuki launched himself tow two blasts

Izuku countered with a charge that caused him to blip from sight, both colliding with one another as they spun, crying out in anger to attack. Katsuki's right hook was swiped by a kick, forcing him to backpedal from a spiral axe-kick, the bolts tingling across his face while the force of the kick imbedded the earth, shattering what windows remained. His palm rose, giving Izuku a faceful of heat, the massive blast tearing them apart.

"My timing was off... he's kicked into a higher gear!" His pupils retracted, Izuku was coming straight for him.

"IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!?" He screamed, forcing out a warcry from the blonde who waited for him. The image of victory was tethered to Katsuki, the very desire to win over saving caused him to yell and act just like the irrational blonde at times, it was something he'd never admit to, but that has always been the case.

He fired two more air-cannons, Katsuki coughing once from the first that struck his gut, the second missed as he blasted himself high as Izuku leapt too, explosions bubbling across his palms while Izuku knew he had to act fast; otherwise he'd be outmatched in the air. Bringing his right leg high he swung down sharply, the air pressure forcing his body to move away from Katsuki's left blast, pressing his soles to the side of a building, launching back to retaliate with another two Delaware Smashes, using his legs to create enough wind pressure to keep him steady.

Both missed Katsuki, tensing his arms. "He can maneuver his body but not as well as me!"

"I didn't just jump back without a plan!" It was all he could think of, remembering a fight of a similar nature; raw strength won't win but maybe... "He thinks he's got a handle on my new Shoot Style, but I'm not just going to be his dummy to relieve some stress!"

Bending back his legs he kept his trajectory steady, he switched to kicks to keep his arms from being abused, but with what Yuki promised him that day... where the damage could be reverted, it meant he didn't need to be so cautious, atleast for one single punch! He clenched his right, the sparked gathering while Katsuki blinked at the sudden change of tactics.

"You're the best, that's why I want to defeat you!" He brought his left arm across to smother against Katsuki's cheek, dilating the percentage in his arm to ten percent as his skin and cheek twisted under the oppressing force. He had to win, he had to prove everything he's done wasn't for nothing! He had to keep the promises he's made this time! "All Might! Yuki! Viral! I won't fail!"

"Now, it's your turn."

"I have to in order to reach the expectations All Might has for me!" It was without question, this needed to end one way! His eye caught the focused glare coming from Katsuki, he was going to throw him off! "Not yet!" His body screamed at the strain but with a sharp pump of his right side he spun himself around and away from Katsuki's hand, his left cross swiping over the blonde's face

In his twirl, Izuku swept Katsuki's knees, kicking Katsuki up while he gripped the boy's shirt, glaring down at him while bending his whole hand under his thumb, threshing out the digits with a massive gust of wind that caused a severe strain on his fingers, one of them breaking. However, the wind pressure worked, driving the pair toward the earth with a resounding crash of concrete and dust. The plume smothered them, but Izuku felt it, he had Katsuki pinned by his back, himself locking the blonde's chest under the weight of his forearm.

They panted, Izuku ensuring he had a lock on Katsuki's legs and moving his arms to grip his hands, facing them away from both his body and the ground. "I... I won't quit..." Izuku coughed, bowing his head. "...even i-if I... break my body... I-I have to protect her... I need to...!" Katsuki was left wholly drained and brimming with fury, he lost again to the damn nerd.

"Get off!" Without much effort. he threw Izuku back, flipping to his haunches. "Happy now, you damn won, you bastard." He hissed, but he couldn't bring himself to lift a hand... "Even with All Might's power, after making it your own you almost lost to me, breaking your damn body again to do so..." It pissed him off, but... "You better not lose from here on out; otherwise, I'll show you just how useless you are."

"That's enough, both of you," Their heads snapped to the voice approaching from afar, their heart sinking as they caught sight of a familiar girl with whitish-blue hair, but her eyes... a piercing icy-blue shade mingled with a stern frown. "I've seen enough."

"Y-Yuki...?" Izuku was sure she never woke, so why...? He gasped, it was her eyes that gave it away, the pristine shade wasn't normally able to glow in the darkness like that, and beside her... "All Might..." The blonde figure moved in beside her, head low with shadows obscuring his gaze, leaving only a frown

All Might felt stupid and ashamed, he had seen it in fragments but never the whole story until now. "I'm sorry, I never noticed it before, I should have."

Katsuki recovered on his feet first, turning his head away. "It's too late now..." He continued to stare ahead, not meeting any of their eyes. "Why did you pick Deku? It started when the sludge villain came, didn't it?" His voice broke. "So why him?"

Yuki didn't move, crossing her arms while allowing All Might to speak, her gaze cold and unwavering toward the two, seeing Izuku fail to meet her gaze. All Might didn't stop his approach. "He was powerless... but still more heroic than anyone else, I knew you were strong, that much was obvious, you were already able to fight, to hold your own against this world, so I wanted to give him that push too, to stand in that same ring,"

It didn't satisfy Katsuki's anger, his frustration for losing again to Deku. "But now you know I'm weak too, I always wanted to be like you which meant being as strong as possible!" His emotions came out, all his losses and half-assed wins laid bare. "But look at what I did to you, because I'm not good enough!" His head bowed. "I couldn't even take a single hit for that damn Mute when she needed it most, and she got hospitalized because of me..."

All Might stopped before the boys, his heart aching for what he had heard, yet his companion held him back until the end, as much as it hurt. "This was never your fault, Young Bakugo, I was always going to lose my power, nothing anyone could do could change that," He answered honestly. "You are strong, a hero who strives to win no matter what, that devotion is what makes you your own symbol, one of fortitude and courage to face danger and brace even the darkest times head-on,"

That alone had Katsuki jam his eyes shut, knitting his teeth together to compose himself. "I overlooked your emotions, and that was my failure, not just as your teacher but as a hero you strived to look up to," He brought his head to rest on his chest, patting his head. "For all that, I am sorry."

"Do not let the scars Yuki bears concern you," Katsuki pulled away from All Might, snapping his gaze to the stoic expression on Yuki's features. "She wanted to give you space, afraid that seeing her closely would only remind you of those days," She chuffed. "She can too overprotective herself,"

"Wait, you're..." Izuku finally caught on. "...SIVA?"

"What?" Katsuki blinked, gawking at the girl with a cool smile on her lips

"Yes, I am currently in control, though she is unaware I was the one that saw you leave, Izuku Midoriya," He flinched at his gaze through Yuki's eyes. "Actually, the reason UA isn't beating down on you is due to me interfering with the security in the area, though I did inform All Might and Eraserhead so you will suffer for the consequences."

With that, All Might continued. "It was SIVA here that helped me to realize your true feelings here and now, and in all my years of being a Hero I've learned that striving to be the best, like you, Young Bakugo-" He gazed to Izuku on the ground. "-and caring for others and rescuing those in trouble, like you Young Midoriya, both those qualities are what make up a good hero, without them they could never represent true justice,"

"That is why you admire his strength so much, Young Midoriya, and why I know you've always feared his heart and spirit, Young Bakugo," He looked at these two, seeing two halves of a hero defined so perfectly, and of course, Yuki as the line between those two, even if she wasn't here right now. "Now that you've laid your feelings on the table, perhaps now you can understand each other,"

"If you can obtain mutual respect and aid in making one another stronger as Yuki has been for you in small doses then I have no question you two will become the greatest heroes in the world," That lifted their eyes, meeting each other's gazes yet again evenly.

Katsuki then lowered his head. "Dammit..." He fell back to his haunches. "That was the last thing I wanted to hear."

"Grow up, kid," SIVA sighed, coming over to deliver a light chop to the blonde's head with a frown. "Pride is what led one of my own kind to self-destruction, nearly destroyed everything, those that can balance that out are the ones who are the strongest," SIVA put a hand to his chest. "This girl has had every chance to choose so many paths both good and bad, and I'd have supported her, yet she chose to walk the path I had failed myself, she cares for all of you, and would devote her life to protect you, don't ever forget that."

"You," Izuku flinched at Katsuki's words, head buried under his arms. "You had the strongest guy in the world and his own student set the stage for you, so don't you dare come so close to losing again."

With a pause, Izuku pressed his lips to a fine line, glancing up at the inquisitive eyes of SIVA. "I will; I'll get stronger so I'll never lose."

After a solemn sigh, Katsuki lifted his head. "Right, so talk, who knows outside of those two?"

"Recovery Girl, Principle Nezu, Viral, and Valstrax do, and as far as students go, only you," All Might explained, seeing the pent-up frustration on Katsuki's face

"And what about you, Mute?" Katsuki planted a hand on his head while SIVA shrugged

"My name is SIVA or formerly Aksis, Archon Prime of the Devil Splicers; Yuki is Quirkless, and as you've seen Kovik and his pawns are after the technology, or me, who resides in her body," SIVA explained, sighing. "I was once their leader and now they believe my personality to be a remnant glitch inside the nanotechnology they tried to steal away to this world to rebuild but were intercepted, hence why I am hosted inside her body."

"And you don't want any of this getting out 'cause that would be bad," Katsuki summarized. "Don't worry, your secrets are safe with me, not a person will know, unlike Deku I can keep my mouth shut." He jabbed. "This'll stay between us."

"Thanks, Kacchan." Izuku murmured, SIVA bowing his head

"I believe Yuki would appreciate that as well as I." Though he had no idea how long this secret would last

All Might still had his eyes covered, feeling guilt writhe in his body. "I don't deserve this, I should be down on my hands and knees begging you to keep my secret, thank you." With that, the story was to be told

Of course, Katsuki didn't do this for their sake more so to keep things in public from getting out of hand. But soon All Might explained everything, from his power to the origins and connect to All For One, to Yuki's crossing with All Might, everything leading to Izuku as the ninth successor. In the end, he took it pretty well in SIVA's eyes, though he felt Yuki was starting to feel her body was out of her control subconsciously, there wasn't much time left.

While the two new rivals bickered, SIVA frowned before All Might, keeping his voice low. "You won't tell them yet?" He inquired, having heard due to Yuki overhearing the news herself. All Might shook his head

"I will, not right now though, let them mull over tonight," His neon eyes glanced ahead, filled with fear for what was to come. "Kovik's made his move, and now an important piece of this puzzle is gone," It felt... hollow, knowing All For One had been killed so easily. "To think that's what his aim was all this time."

SIVA grimaced, pursing his lips. "Kovik is the top Splicer Priest, his talents in bioengineering go beyond the norm, he did create weapons made from other races so anything's possible for him with enough tools and materials, but this drug's not what concerns me..." SIVA rubbed Yuki's jaw, eyes narrowed to the road under him.

"What is?" All Might was afraid to ask, seeing how desperately wary the stoic A.I was

"If he's taken All For One out of the picture..." He locked his gaze to All Might. "What does he intend to do with Tomura Shigaraki?" Kovik was moving, and SIVA hadn't any idea what his former scientist was planning

To Be Continued...

The amount of times I never see Izuku win this fight, and when he does he has to go borderline evil or edgy about it, given the fact he's got forty percent under his belt and more experience than normal I gave him a justified bout, curse me if you want I stand by my choice. I'm not one of those people that are against Bakugo winning I just wanted to change things up, ta-da~!

And yeah, SIVA can just jack control of Yuki when she's not conscious, makes it funny when she wakes up and something seems different, like sleeping on the sofa and waking up in your bed. I hope you enjoyed, appreciate the support as always, seeya in the next chapter heroes!

Next Chapter: The Truth of Imperfection

Yuki: So you're both under house arrest...? Seriously?

Izuku: I'm sorry...

Katsuki: Go to hell, Mute Bastard!

Yuki: Funny, I can talk just fine, Dumb-Dumb.

SIVA: You're getting side-tracked

Yuki: *Sighs* I know... it's time I told you, Izuku, everything.

SIVA: Coming up, The Truth of Imperfection

Izuku: Go Beyond.

Yuki/SIVA: Plus Ultra.
