To my readers,

I'm posting this on my phone, so please ignore any and all mistakes you'll no doubt see while reading this. Writimg in the 'create new document' is so slow and it keeps crashing.

There will be no updates for a while, perhaps even until next year. My laptop broke, as did my partner's computer and we simply can't afford to buy new ones or to repair them. As you all know (for those of uou whove followed me for a while) I've had issues with my laptop for years, but now it has finally packed in for good.

I have lost chapter 19 for Red String of Fate. When my partner's computer died, I was almost finished with the cjapter and for some reason, it didn't automatically save like it usually does. I have also lost the plans for it and Dying Embers.

I can barely even pay rent right now due to funeral costs. After my mum passed away, my stepdad basically did a runner, abanonding their pets, home and us. It was entirely down to me to take in not only the pets (with one cat alone costing me £100 a month in specialist treatments - she has chronic kidney failure), but also my vulnerable sister. He took all superficial items such as the TV I bought for my mum when she first got sick and was unable to leave the house (I was good for money two years ago), all the expensive furniture she'd bought over the years and was so proud of herself for, but the worst part is that he left behind all sentimental items. He cleared out their home of his stuff, the stuff she worked hard for amd left all her personal items left around the house. I think I'm more upset about that than the thiusands of pounds worth of debt he's left in my name.

One extremely helpful reader recommended ko-fi, a site where you can donate to creators. I've set it up so that you can not only support me, but commissions are also open. You can also pay to receive early access to chapters for on-going stories, though you would obviously have to wait until they're ready.

I never thought I would be the type of writer who asks for donations, but I'm in such a bad place financially and mentally.
