"As predicted. Though I think it's best we keep them isolated for now. While Bakuda isn't a much of a threat without her little toys, our most esteemed guest will continue to require a sterile environment until she can see sense in our objectives."
"Very well."
"Perhaps we will see new developments from Leviathan's attack."
"It is possible. Though its interruption has changed the path some degrees. We may require more time."
"If it must be done then it must be done."
"Agreed. On that note I have a new target for you to acquire."
"Oh? What does the path say about this one?"
"Don't let her talk."
"Interesting."

Author's Note:
I've been neglecting my background story a bit and after seeing some of the comments I've gotten here and now over on AO3, I thought perhaps I can give a little peek behind the curtain so that future chapters don't pop out of mysterious orange doors as it were.
If you missed it I am now over on AO3 under the name of K_Raiden and have been reposting this story over there with a little bit of polishing thanks to your reviews. Thank you all for helping me iron out some of the creases and as always, pointing out the funny auto correct changes.
