Back on Remnant, Jaune's Remnant…

With a flash of light, multiple figures appeared. It was Jaune and the Schnee family.

As for Scáthach, Tiamat and Sylvia, they were inside Jaune's Dimensional Farm, resting.

Scáthach enjoyed the scenery of the Dimensional Farm, it was quite relaxing.

Tiamat loved tending to the crops and animals inside the farm.

As for Sylvia, she was flying in the sky. Originally, a Rathian was called the Queen of the Land, but that was no longer an apt description for Sylvia as she was more of a Queen of the Sky due to her love of flying thanks to Jaune and the changes to her hunting style.

Smelling the air, Jaune made note of how it was different from the other Remnant. It was subtle, but there was a difference.

Jaune preferred the air in his Remnant over the other. Possibly due to him being used to the familiar smell of his Remnant.

Looking at the people he travelled with, Jaune noted that they were glad to be back. It was not surprising since they have been gone for a while and the places they've been to were quite dangerous, such as the Ark: Ragnarök and Monster Hunter.

"As much as I have enjoyed our adventures, it is good to be back to our original world," said Weiss. She was glad to be back. She missed her friends. She hopes that she gets to do this again with them. Not to say that she did not enjoy her adventures with her family, because she did, very much so.

"I know what you mean, sis. My only gripe is I wish we could have stayed longer on the other Remnant for a while longer to help my counterpart get the remaining stick up his ass out. I was very close. He was starting to be himself. But alas, I only hope that Weiss counterpart helps him," said Whitley. He was glad that he got to meet Jaune as the man helped him be himself rather than be the person that his father wanted him to be.

"Don't worry, Whitley. I spoke to my other about helping her brother rather than pushing him away, especially now that the Jacques of that world is also dead. Which would be the best time to help him as there is no one whispering to him how he is expected to act," said Weiss. However, she was not the only one that did so.

"I did the same to my counterpart. When I realised that my counterpart decided to break away from Ironwood, I thought she might have gotten less uptight. It my not have been true, but she was more accommodating. She saw that she needed to be there for her brother rather than left him be on his own," said Winter. Thanks to Jaune, she was no longer the way she was before. She was more relax and capable of laughing with others.

This time, it was Willow's turn to speak.

"As for my counterpart, she needs work on herself before she could hope to help her children. So, instead of merely asking her to look after her children, I also spoke to Wiess, Winter and Whitley to help her get out of her funk. Although, I might have suggested something inappropriate," said Willow. Her counterpart was not her.

"Mother? What did you suggest to your counterpart?" asked Wiess. She was afraid of the answer, but she believes she knows what it is.

Willow looked at her daughter and blushed.

"I may have told them to ask Jaune-II to help her," replied Willow. She had a blush on her.

Weiss and Winter was about to tell her that there is nothing inappropriate about it, but Willow continued before they could speak.

"I may have also suggested they help her get together with Jaune-II," said Willow. She then saw her children look at her. "Hey! Don't look at me like that! I simply thought that she could use the help of another man that is vastly different from Jacques. Sure, Jaune-II is nothing like my Jaune, but he is still someone that could help Willow-II. And I could see him checking her out".

Winter and Weiss had no words. They had no clue how to respond to what their mother said.

Jaune smiled at the interaction of the Schnee family. It was different form the cold indifference that they should him in the beginning. Now, they were a normal family that actively show affection to one another.

The Schnee family saw Jaune smiling at them. Willow couldn't help but ask.

"What's with the smile?" asked Willow. She was curious. "I know that you smile quite often, but this smile seems different. It's as if you are glad for something".

"Because I am," replied Jaune. He was indeed glad. "I'm glad that the four of you are close to one another. There is no longer a coldness to your interaction. Instead, I can feel the warmth and love you hold for each other. So, yes, I am glad for a reason".

Willow giggled and she kissed Jaune.

"We could only achieve such closeness thanks to you," said Willow. She was glad to have met Jaune. She was glad to have fallen in love with him. "I am grateful for everything you've done for me. For us. For that, I thank you".

Jaune returned a smile to Willow.

"There is no need for thanks between us, Willow," said Jaune. He considers her family now. "I consider you, Weiss, Winter, and Whitley as family. What I did was natural for me to do for my family".

Jaune Arc and the Schnee family headed home to the Arc family Manor in Vale.

A month has gone by since the adventure of Jaune and the Schnee family to Remnant Prime.

Jaune could be seen in the roof of his family's house. He was thinking on his next adventure, but before that, he spoke to Alice.

"Alice, do you mind rolling the Gacha for me?" asked Jaune. He sighed. It has been a while since he received anything good from the Gacha. The last good thing he got was the Robe of the Sage, which he took to wearing every time. "I hope I get something good. It has been a month since I got anything good".

[No problem, Jaune]

[Gacha is now rolling]

Jaune watched as the Gacha rolled. He crossed his finger and prayed to get something good.

[Congratulations! Jaune received (Time Card – Five Years – Demi-God). The user may access the reward within the Inventory]

Jaune was gobsmacked at what he saw. Demi-God? That's great!

"Alice, what does the Time card do?" asked Jaune. He was excited to get a Demi-God rarity. "I finally got something good…or at least something I think is good. I mean, would a Demi-God rarity be crap? I don't think so".

[It is quite a powerful item. With it, you can travel five years in the future or in the past. However, it is a consumable. It can only be used once. I know that you may think it is not that impressive, but trust me, it is. For example, if you used the card to travel to the past and accidentally, I don't know, kill your younger self, you would still continue to exist even if the past dictates otherwise. It is form of existence protection]

"That's pretty good," said Jaune. He nodded at Alice, acknowledging that the card is worthy of a Demi-God rarity. "Too bad that it only allows for me to travel either five years in the past or future".

Jaune was thinking of using the card to see his future, but he decided not to since it would take something away from him. He didn't know what, but he felt he would lose something important if he did.

"Why do I have the feeling that I'm going to lose something of I used the card to travel into the future?" asked Jaune. This is the first time he felt this way about using an item from the Gacha. "Am I missing something?"

[Have you already forgotten? I told you when we were at Remnant Prime that you end up fornicating with the enemy which caused the changes in this current timeline. If you do not travel to the past, it would never happen, and you would lose something precious to you. Someone important to you]

"Right! I remember you telling me that!" said Jaune. He remembered Alice telling him that he did end up fornicating with the enemy. "When do I use it to achieve our current timeline?".

[I can't tell you that. It must be up to you when you should use it. But trust me, you would feel when the time is right to use the card]

Jaune dropped it for now since he knew that Alice would not tell him. He also thought that it would be for the best.

For now, Jaune was thinking how he should talk to his friends about bathing in the Blood of Fafnir so that they could gain the Armour of Fafnir. It would be quite awkward since he would need to be near their vicinity as he needed to activate Manifestation of the World of Faeries so give them the best benefit.

"You know what? I think I would go for the straightforward approach," said Jaune. He was not a person to do things in a roundabout way. He prefers to be blunt. "It would sound weird when I tell them, but hopefully they let me explain things before they see me as some sick pervert asking them to bathe in and drink blood".

Jaune jumped down the roof and proceeded to head to his friends location.
