After gathering all his friends, Jaune was staring at them as he did not know how to explain his gifts to them.
Those gathered are RWBY, HNPR, WWW and Glynda.
How does one say that they have to bathe in dragon blood as a gift? Worse! They must drink it!
Looking at Jaune, Ruby was worried he was going to tell them bad news due to the way he was intently staring at them.
"Uhm…? Jaune?" called Ruby. She was quite nervous to know about what Jaune was thinking. "Is there something wrong?".
Jaune looked at Ruby.
"Hmm…?" said Jaune. He didn't know why Ruby would ask him if there was something wrong. But he answered her. "There is nothing wrong, Ruby. I'm just thinking of how I should tell you something. It is quite hard since it would be kind of awkward".
"You aren't the type to think about something like this," said Ruby. She has known Jaune for a while now. He is normally more straight forward. "Whatever it is, I think it would be better to be your usual self and just come out with it".
Jaune sighed as Ruby was right. It would be better to just come out with it no matter how awkward it may be. Here goes nothing.
"I want you all to bathe in blood," said Jaune. He saw the faces of the people gathered. "And drink it too".
Scáthach, who was in Jaune's shadow is laughing at the facial expressions of the people gathered. It was quite hilarious.
As great as Jaune is at many things, this is something he was not.
"What the hell, Jaune!" shouted Yang. She didn't know why Jaune would ask her do something like that. "Why in Oum's name would we drink blood?! That is gross!".
Jaune looked at Yang.
"So, the drinking part is the only one you see as gross?" asked Jaune. She did only mention about drinking it.
"No! bathing and drinking blood is gross!" said Yang. She could even imagine doing such a thing. She then thought of something. "The only way I would do such a thing if it is something magical".
Jaune raised an eyebrow at her. He then gave her a smirk.
"If that's the case…Great!" said Jaune. This gave Yang a confused look. "Since you said that, then I should tell you that the blood is the blood of a Dragon called Fafnir. Once you bathe and drink the blood of said Dragon, you gain a conceptual armour known as Armour of Fafnir".
Jaune proceeded to explain them the benefit of the Armour of Fafnir. He told them the initial strength of the armour, but he also said it could be stronger once its impurities were removed. However, he told them, if they want to remove the impurities, they will have to be in his close vicinity as he needed to activate the Manifestation of the World of Faeries.
"Oh! That's why you were worried about telling us," said Ruby in realisation. It was not that Jaune wanted them to drink blood or bathe in it, but because he would need to be in close proximity to them, to be exact, in the same room as them as they bathed. She blushed. "I mean…I don't mind it".
Ruby fidgeted as she said those words.
Yang looked at her sister. She couldn't believe what she heard. Is her sister implying something? Even she, who has a thing for Jaune, won't simply be okay with him seeing them bathe, even if it is blood.
"I don't mind it either," said Blake. It was known to her team that she saw Jaune as something more than a friend. It all started during the time she ran away. But she couldn't make that known to Jaune. So, she diverted. "Plus, this could help us become stronger. A way for us to help people more effectively without worrying about our Aura's depleting".
Yang looked at her partner with a glare. She could not be fooled by Blake as she knew about her crush on Jaune.
"I don't mind either," said Weiss. She thought about her time in Monster Hunter. "It wouldn't be the first time I bathe with him".
Willow and Winter gave Jaune a nod. In the Monster Hunter world, they lived the way the people there did. Showering or bathing together to save water is a must for survival.
Yang could not believe what she was seeing and hearing. Weiss, she said that she was not interested in Jaune, yet, she bathed with him. And she didn't care about doing it again!
"H-How?! When?! Where?!" shouted Yang. She and the others were not yet informed of Jaune's current adventure with the Schnee family. "Is there something I'm missing here?!".
Weiss looked at Yang with a raised eyebrows.
"Well, it happened when Jaune took my family for a bit of an adventure," said Weiss. She loved every moment they had, because it is the reason that the family was closer than ever. "I even met my counterpart in another Remnant. It was all exciting. Jaune even defeated a person called Salem, the self-proclaimed Queen of Grimm".
Now, it was not only Yang that was surprised.
"Sorry, what?" asked Blake. Did she hear that right? "Did you say the Queen of Grimm?".
Weiss smiled.
"I did," said Weiss. "She was quite powerful as she is capable of using magic. But, she was no match for Jaune. Literally, Salem blasted Jaune with so many different magic bolt, but none of them affected him. It all bounced off of him".
The entire time, Glynda was shellshocked at the revelations she was hearing. Jaune met with the Salem? But a Salem from s different Remnant? The blood that Jaune wants her to bathe in is special and she also ahs to drink it? She didn't know what to think. Is this a daily occurrence for the group? It seems that only Yang was a bit peeved about Jaune been with them when they bathe in the blood.
Jaune saw the shock of Glynda and spoke to her.
"Glynda? Are you okay?" asked Jaune. "I know you're probably processing many things you've heard here today".
This is the first time Glynda was brought in these type of setting by Jaune after all. Sure, Ozpin told her about magic, but nothing about the multiverse or something like the Armour of Fafnir.
"I'm just a bit overwhelmed at things I've heard," said Glynda. She rubbed her temple to massage it. "Why are you including me in this conversation?".
Jaune smiled at her. The reason? It is simple. He likes her. But he didn't know if Glynda would accept him as he already has Scáthach, Willow and Tiamat in his life. Then there was Pyrrha and Haruhime who he knew has a thing for him but is not brave enough to tell him.
"No real reason," replied Jaune. "I thought it would be great protection for you. I hate to see you hurt, Glynda".
"I'm a Huntress, Jaune. It comes with he territory," said Glynda. She sighed. Being a Huntress meant that she would get hurt. "Pain is an old friend".
"Be that as it may, it doesn't mean that I like seeing you hurt. For now, I have not seen such a sight, but I would rather not see it before giving you a hand," said Jaune. Imaging people he cares about hurt is not something angers him. Imagining it happen in real life causes something within him to erupt. "I would rather never see you hurt".
Hearing Jaune's words warmed Glynda's heart and it skipped a beat. She could deny it all she wants, but in truth, her heart yearns for him.
Thus, Glynda did something she never thought she would.
With one swift movement, Glynda connected her lips with Jaune.
This did not only surprise Jaune and Glynda herself, but everyone in the room.
Pyrrha and Haruhime both recoiled at seeing their Professor kiss the guy that they have fallen in love with.
Pyrrha was now determined to finally confess her feelings to Jaune. Not right now, as she believed this moment is for Glynda as she took her chance.
As for Haruhime, she was jealous of how straight forward Glynda was. Stealing Jaune's lips in one swift motion. However, unlike Pyrrha, she has yet to gain the courage nor the determination to confess to Jaune. She was still conflicted. After all, she has a been comparing herself to someone like Scáthach.
"I did not see that coming," said Yang. She was shocked to see her strict and sometimes…most of the time, uptight Professor kiss her friend. "Although, I can't say that I did not notice her interest. It was painfully obvious that Port even announced it during the Vytal Festival".
"Yeah, for sure," said Ruby. She was nodding her head. "I could see the signs. I mean, she does keep stealing glances as Jaune whenever she could".
"I'm pretty sure that it was only Jaune that did not see that she was interested in him," said Weiss. Jaune is amazing, but he can be very dense.
"Whoa! See? Renny!" shouted Nora. She was excited. "I told you Professor Goodwitch had the hots for Jaune! And you said it was just my imagination!".
Hearing the words of her students, she could not believe that she was that obvious. She thought that she was being subtle.
Glynda looked at Jaune and fake coughed in her hand.
"Could you excuse me for a moment?" said Glynda. She then dashed out of the room…or tried to dash out of the room. She failed as Jaune used his own telekinesis against her.
Jaune smiled at Glynda. This is the first time that he has seen her flustered to the point that she wanted to run away.
"You don't have to run away, Glynda," said Jaune. He smiled at her. He was happy to know that she feels the same way. "I do have feelings for you as well, but I didn't know how to tell you since you already know I have multiple women in my life. There is Tiamat, Scáthach, and Willow. I didn't know how you would react. I feared that you would reject me. So, I pushed my feelings for you aside".
Glynda did not want to speak about it now. She wanted to do it later with just the two of them.
"Ahem! Let's not speak of this for now," said Glynda. "Let's do it later in a later time with just the two of us. Plus, we are meant to be here for something, yes?".
Jaune nodded at Glynda. This is a private thing. It was best to only be between them.
Now, Jaune took out the tub full of Blood of Fafnir. It was time for them to bathe in said blood and take a drink of it as well.
Seeing the tub of blood, Yang gulped. She didn't want put blood in her hair.
"Yang, you know. If you bathe in the blood, you don't have to worry about your hair being cut off," said Jaune. The Armour of Fafnir extend to the hair as well.
"Why didn't you lead with that?!" shouted Yang.
Yang, without a second thought took her clothes off and jumped into the tub.
Jaune and the others shook their heads.
Ren, upon seeing Yang started to take her clothes off left the room.
